Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with!! She is so sweet and so helpful. She made our wedding cake, a red velvet cake with cream cheese. It was absolutely amazing!! And we had raspberry and snickerdoodle cupcakes as options for our guests. She also made pretzels and Oreos dipped in chocolate for us! Everyone enjoyed!

Snickerdoodle Wedding Cake
Snickerdoodle Wedding Cake. That is all…my husband and I are obsessed. We loved that in the tasting, there were SO many options included- and everything was amazing. Peanut butter/chocolate, lemon blueberry, strawberry and raspberry and so many others…Jenn even found a pumpkin-flavored cupcake in her fridge for us to try. She was so accommodating, and we knew she cared about her work. Flash forward to the wedding - the cake was even more beautiful than we imagined, and everyone finally got to taste the cupcakes (6 different flavors!) that we raved about. Would absolutely order cupcakes from her again!

DELICIOUS Cupcakes for Our Wedding!
We used Main Street Sweets Cakes for our wedding at the Lodges at Gettysburg this past May 2024 and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! So much so that after doing the tasting, I ordered 4 dozen cupcakes of our wedding flavors on two separate occasions leading up to the wedding and took them into work to share because I just wanted to keep eating them! We had a subtle Star Wars themed wedding (it was May 4th - we had to lol) and asked for "classy" cupcakes that matched the theme, since we wanted Star Wars incorporated without it feeling like a 6-year-old's birthday party and Main Street Sweets did not disappoint! The cupcakes were adorable, delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about them! I would highly recommend Main Street Sweets to anyone looking!

Delicious cupcakes and wonderful experience!
Main Street Sweets was an awesome choice to provide dessert for our wedding. Jennifer was so easy to work with leading up to our event. She offered a tasting of the flavors we selected ahead of time which we appreciated. We got to select a variety of cake flavors and icing flavors, and she was very accommodating with the dietary restrictions of our guests. She provided vegan and gluten free cupcakes, a gluten free cutting cake, and even a specialty dairy and gluten free cupcake for one of our guests. All of the cupcakes were beautifully presented and delicious. I highly recommend working with Jennifer if you need dessert catered at your next event!

Jennifer from Main Street Sweets made my son and his wife the most beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake with 3 different flavors of cake and icing, as well as many various desserts to accompany the cake. Everything she made was very moist and unbelievably delicious , especially the wedding cake !
Along the way we changed our mind several times, and Jennifer was always happy to oblige us.

The Best Cake!!
We had the best experience working with Jennifer from Main Street Sweets!
It began with the tasting when we picked up a to go box with 10 cupcakes, and several small containers of various filling options! So many delicious options!
For our cake we decided on a tier with chocolate cake and peanut butter mousse, another with almond cake and amaretto mousse and finally a tier with chocolate cake and coffee mousse.
We loved it and our guests raved, with many calling it the best cake they've ever had!
In addition to the quality and ease of working with Jennifer, her pricing was reasonable and more affordable than several other bakeries we looked into.
I highly recommend getting your wedding cake from Main Street Sweets!

The best sweets around!
After trying several different cake shops when looking for our wedding desserts, our wedding coordinator suggested Jennifer at Main Street Sweets. We ordered a sample box of several of her desserts and from the minute we took our first bite we never turned back.
For our wedding we decided to have a smaller show cake to cut for just the two of us, but we wanted to have a variety of desserts scattered across the room for our guests to enjoy. For our cake, we choose Jennifer's delicious snickerdoodle cake with buttercream frosting and it honestly is the best cake we've ever had in our entire lives! We also ordered several mini pies, mini cupcakes, mini cheesecakes, mousse cups, and cookies for our guests and everyone raved about them (our wedding was in the fall season, so the mini pies in particular were a hit).
Working with Jennifer was such a smooth experience - the quality of her baking and the variety of treats she offers makes her the perfect choice if you're looking for more than just cake for your wedding day (although the cake itself is phenomenal).

Beautiful Assortment of Wedding Cakes!
My husband loves cake, so choosing just one cake or flavor wasn't going to cut it for our wedding. We got married at Liberty Mountain Resort, so choosing someone local and familiar with the venue was important to us. Jennifer worked with us to create three tiered cakes along with an assortment of cupcakes to really fill the dessert table and stay within out limited budget. We had a bride, groom, and couple's cake. The nicest part of working with Jennifer was the box of treats she sent home with us over Thanksgiving so that we could try all the flavors, fillings, and icing choices! My entire family was able to choose their favorites and that's how we made our decision for our wedding treats. That was super helpful, especially since my husband is very picky when it comes to cake. He has high standards, lol. We love the Apple Spice, Lemon, Carrot Cake, and Raspberry! Definitely can't go wrong with Main Street Sweets!

Best tasting sweets!
Jennifer Wisner of Main Street Sweets did an outstanding job making and presenting the cupcakes for our wedding. Everything she had us sample tasted amazing and we had a difficult time choosing which flavors to have for our wedding. We kept hearing wonderful things about the cupcakes at our wedding from our guests! Plus the decorations on the cupcakes looked great! Our personal cake for cutting looked simply elegant and tasted amazing! We can't wait to try the one year anniversary cake when the time comes!

Jennifer is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is professional, creative and went above and beyond to design the perfect cake for our special day. In addition to our tiered wedding cake, I requested a custom groom's cake. Jennifer worked with me to create one of the best cake designs I have ever seen. I was completely blown away when I walked into our rehearsal dinner to see the beautiful cake displayed exactly how I had envisioned it to be. She immediately provided details of her services including costs and serving approximations along with pictures of cakes she has designed for weddings. She was accommodating when we had to reschedule a tasting due to the flu and immediately prepared a take home box full of cupcake samples of cake flavors and icings. We decided to do a 2 tiered, small cake with cupcakes for our wedding. We had yellow cake with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with chocolate buttercream, strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream, and red velvet with cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream. The hardest part about this vendor was trying to narrow down the flavors! All of the samples were absolutely delicious, flavorful, and moist. Also, Main Street Sweets did an awesome job with setting up our display at our venue to make it look so perfect. We had tons of compliments on the cupcakes and would recommend Main Street Sweets to everyone!

The way she handles cake-tastings was excellent, by far the best bakery we met with prior to the wedding. All day during our reception we heard how amazing the cupcakes were. I was not really enthusiastic about the cake tasting because I've never really had a wedding cake that I'd write home about. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how moist the cake was. My husband and I chose the a naked almond cake with raspberry mousse. We couldn't wait to get home from our honeymoon to get more cake (no exaggeration!)...and my guests still talking about the cake 2 months later. I must say, it was the best darn wedding cake I've EVER tasted. Can't wait for our anniversary to crack open our topper.

We had a great experience working with Main Street Sweets from start to finish. We ordered a two-tiered 'naked' cake (which turned out gorgeous!!!) and several types of cupcakes. Jennifer was so accommodating and flexible with what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, our cake arrived on time and in great shape! The girls placed the cake on the table and created a beautiful display with our cupcakes. They also placed flowers from our florist on our wedding cake just as we pictured it! Everything was delicious, and luckily we have our top tier of our cake and some cupcakes left over to enjoy and remember our day :) If we could go back and get married again, we would choose Main Street Sweets a thousand times over! Main Street Sweets made a 3 tier wedding cake and 200 cupcakes for our July 2 wedding in Gettysburg. My husband and I had a free taste-testing where we were able to tastes 12+ cake flavors, fillings, and icings. We mixed and matched and tried it all! It was so much fun and really allowed us to make a good decision. After choosing a cake flavor and 3 types of cupcake flavors, Wendy sat down with us and I showed her pictures and told her ideas of what I had in mind. She drew up a sketch and wrote out notes.
When I finally saw the cake on my wedding day, I was so pleased. It was everything I had wanted- absolutely beautiful! We had tons of wedding guests compliment the cake and cupcakes. I would recommend Main Street Sweets to anyone looking for a wedding cake vendor!

We used Main Street Sweets for our April wedding in Gettysburg. Being out of town, we had limited availability to schedule a consultation. From the beginning, they were so responsive and flexible. We met with Jennifer at her home for the tasting and consult. There were so many wonderful choices and we took home a huge box of cupcakes for the ride home! With our venue, we received a cake credit which was included with the venue cost. Jennifer was so helpful explaining all of our choices and helped make the choice of our 3-tiered cake effortless. We decided on different flavors for each tier, which all were amazing. Main Street was there for the whole process and was able to answer all of our questions quickly and efficiently. One of our cake toppers was a sword inserted in the middle of the cake. We were all nervous about how it would work out, but it turned out great and was a highlight of the reception!
I would highly recommend Main Street Sweets to anyone getting married in the area. They were friendly, easy to work with, and helped make an out-of-town wedding much less stressful. The delivery was on-time and they made sure everything was perfect before leaving. All of our guests loved the cake and we have an awesome anniversary cake waiting in the freezer for us this time next year!

I also really appreciated the flexibility of choosing different flavors for each layer. Second, both cakes (a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding cake) were beautiful. The groom's cake had the specialized design we asked for and looked great. The wedding cake was simple but absolutely stunning. Finally, the prices were very fair and Jennifer and Wendy were willing to supply part of the wedding cake as a sheet cake (that was served but not displayed) to help us manage our budget even better. I highly recommend Main Street Sweets!

We had several different cupcake flavors which made it nice for the guests to choose from. The almond cake was fantastic. The delivery and setup was seamless. Jennifer at Main Street Sweets was by far the best Wedding Cake vendor that we met with when going through our options. When she met with us for our sampling she had a great set up and was very informative. She helped us come up with some combinations for our cake layers and she was excited to work with our special requests regarding the icing and overall design of the cake. On top of it all, the cake was the most delicious cake that we had tried out of all the vendors we met with. Even after keeping some in the freezer for a few weeks it was still amazing. The ladies at Main Street Sweets created the most beautiful wedding cake and cupcakes. At our reception, everyone commented on how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it tasted! We had plenty of extra and were able to take home a lot of wonderful cake to eat for the rest of the week! In addition, Main Street Sweets gave us an anniversary layer to freeze for our first anniversary.
Main Street Sweets offers great variety of icing, filling, and cake and ALL are delicious. We had a hard time making decisions because it was all so delicious. They took what I had in mind for the cake and turned it into something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I have a gluten allergy so I needed somewhere that could create a gluten free wedding cake. When we went to the tasting, she had a gluten free tasting for me, I was thrilled it tasted amazing! The other people in our tasting party tried many different icings and fillings. We were able to pick out a gluten free wedding cake, and three different types of gourmet cupcakes. There was not ONE cupcake left after the wedding. Everyone raved the cupcakes were delicious! Outstanding and friendly service, would highly recommend!

We had a unique special request for the look of our cake (we wanted our cake to look like a tree stump to match the rustic theme of our wedding), sent a photo to Main Street Sweets, and the cake looked exactly like the photo on the day of the wedding. The quality of the cake, icing, and cupcakes was excellent--possibly the best-tasting icing we've ever had at a wedding.

BEST CAKE EVER.. If you are looking for some of the best tasting cake and desserts. This is the company to go with. The cake looked so good. The cakes for our rehearsal dinner were fantastic in taste and decoration. Our wedding cake was fantastic. I almost cried at how good it looked. Jennifer you and you partner are wonderful. The tasting session was the best. I had no issues with contact and you were so quick to respond or change anything during the prep time. Adding pudding cups and two cakes for the rehearsal dinner three weeks before and you took it all in stride. I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone. We had two cakes made by Main Street Sweets – a single tier for after our private wedding ceremony and a full blown three tier for our wedding reception several weeks later. Both cakes were delicious. Our wedding reception cake was amazing in both taste and beauty!!! All we needed to do was give Jennifer a theme and she took it from there. It could not have been more perfect! Their tasting process was just as impressive as the cakes! Couldn’t believe how many different cake and filling flavors they put in front of us! There was a huge cupcake for each cake flavor and several different fillings. They will definitely be my go-to bakery for any cakes in the future.

I was very indecisive about the icing on the cupcakes, so she gave us another sample of cupcakes all decorated differently, so I could choose. We also ordered two pies from them to add in some variety. They were all fantastic and Jennifer was so easy to work with! We had our wedding on November 9, 2013 at Stone Manor. I would rate the experience at Stone Manor 6 out of 5 stars!!! The grounds were stunning, the manor house is gorgeous, and Brian Childs and the staff are outstanding. Everything was wonderful – perfect really! We could not have been happier!
We also used Carriage House Catering – the preferred vendor – again 6 out of 5 stars – the food and service was excellent and well-presented. We have received numerous compliments on how good the food tasted. Jeanne and the staff are experienced and professional and did a wonderful job.

Absolutely amazed. I found a picture on pinterest of a cake I loved. I emailed it to Jennifer and when she gave me a quote, I was floored. I had to repeat everything back to her. How many ppl it feed, the 4 different flavors, and etc. I was shocked at how inexpensive it was. My mom did the tasting and she was happy and we decide to go with Main Street. The tasting provided by Main Street Sweets was AWESOME and so complete. I was so impressed with how many different flavors were provided for us to try.
The cake for the wedding was even better than I remembered from the samples and all of our guests loved it! We had so many friends comment on how delicious it was. I loved having a layered cake, but still being able to offer multiple flavor options for our guests.

This cake is soooooo good. We had guests come back for 2nds and 3rds. We actually found out about the bakery during a trip we took to Carriage House Restaurant in Emmitsberg Md. My FI and I went to have dinner and when we were done eating our server brought out a dessert tray filled with yummy goodies.
We both decided on the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. When the server brought us the cake, we tasted the cake and almost fell out of our seats. OMG! It was so freaking good!! I had never had peanut butter icing and it was so delicious, I can't describe to you how wonderful it was. We asked our server---who makes this cake, because they MUST make our wedding cake. He gave us the bakery's information and I immediately called them the next day to set up a tasting. And I am so glad I did! We had a four tier cake, raspberry, lemon (outstanding), red velvet and chocolate with peanut butter. The whole cake was covered in butter cream...I'm not a fan of fondant. And we had cupcakes for the groom and I, it was our late night snack. So Good!!
The staff is so friendly and was able to accommodate us and went above and beyond for us. The quality of the cake was outstanding and we still have guests calling and asking us how we found the bakery and our friends who are engaged want to use them to make their wedding cakes as well. I have a HUGE sweet tooth and was very particular about the cake for my wedding, I've gone to other wedding and I really look forward to wedding cake, often times I'm really disappointed, but I can tell you that with Main Street Sweets you will not be disappointed and neither will your guests.

They offer basically any flavors that you could want in a cake, and we tasted basically everything that they have to offer. We selected a three tier cake with three different flavors, and everything turned out perfectly. They also made a grooms cake which was a big hit. We were so pleased with the appearance, taste and value of our wedding cake. It turned out exactly like the pictures we provided and just as we imagined. Working with Main Street Sweets was so easy. They were accessible and quick to respond via email. Since we are from out of town they made us a "to go" taste testing box that we were able to take with us. We had a beautiful and elegant 3 tier cake and an additional sheet cake. They were very accommodating with this arrangement and having multiple flavors of the cakes. Not only was it beautiful but the taste was fantastic too! We had and almond cake with buttercream icing and also a white cake with strawberry mouse filling and buttercream icing. We are so happy to have had Main Street Sweets do the wedding cake! We had wanted something a little different and brought along some pictures to the consultation of design elements that we liked, including a sample of lace from the dress. There weren't many traditional things about the weddding, so why start with the cake? They were very helpful with ideas and suggestions and were always responsive if we had a question. We used Main Street Sweets for our wedding and what a great decision that was! Jennifer was extremely pleasant to work with, making a somewhat stressful process, easy! Neither one of us are a huge fan of cake, but opted for a Snickerdoodle cake per her suggestion, and WOW, we both loved it! I could not attend a tasting since I don't live locally, but my mom and aunt went and they had a lovely time. Everything was nicely set up and they were very helpful.
Based on my mom and aunt's recommendations, I ordered four types of cupcakes and when they arrived on my wedding day they were just as I had hoped. Everyone loved them and complimented me on them that night. They went really quickly! I saved one of each to try the next day (too full from dinner that night) and they were SO yummy!

Jennifer is a wonderful baker and person, shes a one woman business and makes beautiful cakes, so it'll always be impressive to me that she can do everything and handle a big change like halfing the size of the cake two weeks out.
Our final cake was beautiful, very in line with what we had in mind. Even without my saying, I noticed she must have been talking to our florist, because the sugar flowers on the cake matched the real flowers (Lilies and Tulips) rather than being traditional buttercream roses.
Only problem we saw was that the cake was more icing than Cake. My "first bite" in the cake cutting was literally all icing, and I don't remember getting much actual cake in the piece at my table either. I mean, at least it wasn't fondant, but it was still a bit too much sugar and not enough substance for me.
Otherwise, it was very reasonably priced, she was very flexible, and the cake itself when you got past the icing was delicious.

Overall, I highly recommend Mainstreet! Jennifer did an awesome job on our cake and cupcakes! She took my ideas and brought them to life, she also coordinated well with my venue's wedding coordinator so I didn't need to worry about a thing on the day of. She also made cookies for my rehearsal dinner. I ordered enough cookies and cupcakes for people to have multiple, and there were barely any extras - everyone loved them! My only critique would be the lack of organization regarding pricing, etc. I had to fight the urge to offer to make an excel spreadsheet that outlined line item costs for various design/color options (I'm a huge nerd). We had to go back and forth a few times because of additional costs I didn't know about for some design choices I had made, which resulted in me having to re-do my choices multiple times to stay in my budget. Regardless, I highly recommend.

We decided right away to go with them after we went to their cake tasting. They were located in a family-owned restaurant, very cozy and warm. When hubby and I went there for tasting, they already had all the cupcakes set up ready for us with all the icings and mouses available. Their sample cupcakes looked and tasted delicious and they let us sample their many varieties of fillers. They were very accommodating when we sent our design, and were able to provide a cake very similar to what we envisioned our wedding cake looked like.

We loved our cake! Main Street Sweets did a great job creating the cake we wanted, even though it was unusual and they had to be creative to get what we wanted. Our cake was delicious and we had more than enough for everyone with the extra sheet cake they made. The cake was delivered on time and was just as requested. Our only complaint with them is that it was difficult to get in touch with them when we had a question about payment. We left several phone messages and it took two days to get a response. But everything was great in the end and the product was high quality so I would recommend them.
