The best part of our wedding!!!

Main Street Productions was our vendor for our wedding video(s) in March of 2020. Planning a wedding requires A LOT of time and money. When I first got engaged, I was a little hesitant on if spending the money for a videographer was worth it or not. Thankfully I went with it anyways, and it was the greatest decision I made! This is something that you and your spouse, friends, and family can all watch and relive forever! Your wedding weekend is filled with so many emotions, that it's truly hard to take it all in no matter how hard you try. We went with the wedding weekend package that included rehearsal dinner coverage as well- which I could not recommend enough. Having our friend's and families' speeches captured in our videos was priceless and so special! Every single moment and detail was captured in our videos, and it really feels as if we are living it all over again every time we watch it. Main Street Productions completely exceeded our expectations of our wedding videos. It's so perfect in every single way!!! Thank you guys so much for being such a huge part of our special day! We will forever be SO thankful!

Main Street production captured my Sisters wedding and when it came my turn to get married there is no one else I would rather choose to capture my special day than Main Street Production. They are funny , sweet , energetic and know how to make your special day unforgettable. They do remarkable work! Working with Angela at Main Street Productions and her production team was wonderful. They communicate well and very thoroughly as to what our needs were and what they could do for us. Our wedding video turned out so amazing! I absolutely loved their choice of background music. We paid extra to also have unedited footage from our ceremony. I can't wait to view that. I'm so glad we chose to have a videographer. These were memories we will always have and be able to show our children.

Main Street is the best wedding videographer! They captured our wedding day so beautifully. We went back and forth on the idea of getting a wedding videographer, but I am SO thankful we did. I would HIGHLY recommend Main Street Productions. From the very first phone conversation we had, I knew they would be great to work with, and they were! They are VERY responsive and accommodating! I wanted a wedding video more than anything. I researched and researched and I finally found Main Street Productions. Every single video was beyond perfection and every little detail was shown. The music they put behind the videos go along perfectly. I chose them for my wedding and I am so happy I did! We just got our wedding video from Main Street yesterday, and we were blown away! I can imagine it is sooooo incredibly tedious squeezing a full day of special footage into 7 minutes, but they managed to capture everything that was important to us. On our wedding day, you barely knew they were there......Nothing felt forced, uncomfortable, or unnatural. Communication with my vendors was very important to me and Angela answered all of my emails within minutes. A professional videographer for your wedding is so important!!! And if you are smart, you will choose Main Street. A HUGE bang for your wedding budget buck! We will cherish this video for the rest of our lives!!! Thank you Main Street!

When I was starting the wedding planning process, I knew that a videographer was something I truly wanted at my wedding! Angela at Main Street Productions was actually the first potential vendor we met with and we fell in love! Her energy and drive to please her clients was something that drew us to Main Street. She wanted to know what we wanted as a couple so that they could create a product that was perfect for us. I remember seeing their videos during our initial meeting and we knew then that we had to book them and book them fast!

Main Street Productions has an amazing team that is prompt, encouraging, hard working, and very professional. Every question I had was answered within the day I asked or the next day. They care about their clients and want them to have the best experience. Their goal is to create a video that captures the moments of the wedding day and the personalities of the couple. I loved getting to work with them during the wedding planning process because they made it so easy.

On the wedding day, the guys from Main Street were so sweet, encouraging, and so fun to work with! They never got in the way and truly added to the entire experience. I know the video is going to be so amazing and I am so ready to see it. If I could choose all over again, Main Street Productions would still be my number 1 choice.

I had the BEST experience working with Main Street Productions. From the moment I sent my initial email, I received prompt responses with every bit of the detailed information I was hoping for. Everything was taken care of for me. I was not worried or stressed even once about things being in order. Angela had everything up to date and ready to go any time I sent an email and during the day of. Angela would even email me randomly just to check in and see how planning was going over the months of planning. It was so nice working with a group that cared so much about me and making our wedding perfect. The day of went SO smoothly, I literally forgot they were there. They also covered our rehearsal dinner which I am so thankful for as we had a large wedding party and large families and now we get to go back and see the fun night and remember all of the toasts that were given. Just like the day of, I never even noticed they were at the rehearsal dinner. Since receiving our video, I cannot say how many compliments we have received on it. When people ask how much we paid for what we received, they are blown away. It seems too good to be true, but I can promise it is all true! I would work with Main Street again with no questions asked. Thank you SO much to everyone at Main Street!!

Before we met with any vendors, my (now) husband and I ranked aspects of our wedding on a scale of 1 to 10. As we compiled our lists and began choosing vendors, we realized that we had forgotten a video. I wasn't phased by it and didn't think we would be missing much - especially since I had ranked photography as most important to me. So, I ranked videography very low. But my husband was persistent in having a conversation about a video. He reminded me of what a video would capture that photography might not - our voices, subtle moments in time that happen so quickly and are not posed, family members speaking and moving who we will miss dearly some day. Needless to say, it didn't take long for me to be all in on hiring a videographer. Not only would the video be for my husband and I to watch over and over (seriously...ha!) 5 months after our wedding, but it would also be for our children and grandchildren to watch. It would be for our family to watch on a random holiday and remember what a glorious day we celebrated. Now that I have our wedding video (and full wedding ceremony...we highly recommend doing this), I could not be more pleased with the final product and decision to work with Main Street. Our video is absolutely breathtaking! We truly have watched it over and over and have loved sharing it with our family and friends. We have all laughed, cried, smiled and rewatched certain parts to see those "unposed moments in time". Trip, John, Angela and the whole Main Street team - we cannot thank you enough for this priceless treasure!

When I began wedding planning I knew a videographer was something I had to have! From our first meeting Sam put me at ease. I had so many questions and he took time to answer them all. He assured me that everything would be taken care of and I had nothing to worry about. Sam was able to capture everything, I could not have asked for more. He met every expectation I had. It has been my dream for many years to have MainStreet film my wedding. That's some high expectations! They exceeded them. Because of our love of film and movies, we wanted a video to feel like watching a movie of our special day. We also wanted to incorporate a nod to Tarantino and his brilliant movies. Chris did an exceptional job, he was calm and flexible all day- just the vibe you want around on the craziest day of your life. He made us an amazing video and somehow it turned out exactly what I had in mind. We are so pleased and if we could do it again we'd do it just the same! My wife and I loved using Main Street Productions to capture our wedding day and reception! Every member of their team was professional and respected our wishes. We met before our wedding to discuss the theme and style of our video and we could not decide on a particular song. On our wedding day, they were efficient with their work and captured every moment perfectly without us even feeling like a camera was on us the entire night! Main Street productions did a fabulous job with my wedding video. It was a scorching hot June day and they never complained once about the outdoor wedding.
The camera crew worked so hard to capture all the best parts of the entire day and made us a video we will cherish for a lifetime.

I cannot say enough good things about Main Street Productions! We hired them to videotape my son and his bride's rehearsal dinner and wedding, and we sure got our money's worth. MSP's video captured the very essence of what it was that made this couple and their wedding so special. I tear up whenever I watch it! MSP's videographers worked like fiends but were never in the way, and Angela's enthusiasm throughout the process made everything more fun. I'd hire this company again in a heartbeat.

The Main Street Productions crew gets an A++!!! I would actually rate them 5.1/5, but we can't do that on this site. ;) --- I truly loved my experience with MSP. The initial meeting with Angela was fantastic, meeting John was awesome and Sam was INCREDIBLE. He even knew my photographer (who is also a friend of mine!), and grabbed her photo to take a picture of both of us when she was helping fix my veil! :) That's just a cool guy right there, helping to capture memories ALL AROUND! He was hilarious, easy going and hardworking and I can't wait to see our wedding video!!!! Could not have had a better experience from the original planning session with Angela to the wedding day with Justin the videographer. Justin was very professional and tireless as he spent approximately 9 hours with us. It was very pleasant to know the memories were being captured without feeling like you were always in front of the camera. I emailed Angela after the wedding requesting additional footage. She promptly replied with the requested info and was a pleasure to work with. Cannot wait to see the final video.

Angela is just plain fun and she laughed at all my jokes!!! Our video ended up being amazing!!! Chris (the videographer at the wedding) was also top notch! He got great footage, especially of the nieces and nephews dancing, which was my favorite!!

We hired John and Angela for our wedding in May of 2014. I had previously watched one of Main Street Production's videos on their website and told my fiancé that "I HAD TO HAVE THEM."

On the day of my wedding, John was such a pleasure to work with. Despite all the craziness that was happening, he was always in the right places at all the right times. At the first consultation I showed Angela and John the video that brought me to them and said, “This is what I want.” You can tell that they knew exactly what kind of footage they needed, and stuck to the goal. I felt like I didn't ever have to worry that they would be missing anything important on video.

I watch the highlight video more often that I should admit, and we received so many compliments on it! As soon as the highlight video hit Facebook we were bombarded with texts from friends about how beautiful it was. Our video truly captured the moments and emotion of the day, allowing us to re-live the joy of our wedding.

I recommend Main Street Productions to anyone getting married! They seriously do amazing work and you will not be disappointed!!

I am so in LOVE with my wedding video!! They went above and beyond and it turned out better than I ever imagined!! The day of the wedding, they were great. I hadn’t had a lot of time in front of the camera, but they made it seem like I was a natural! How they captured the vows and the whole day, from the start to the end of the night was truly magical! I couldn’t be happier with their hard work and commitment to making my day stand out for years to come. I haven't even seen my coverage yet I am still in awe of their work. I am so incredibly thankful to have stumbled upon them. I am a planner & I had booked my videographer 13 months prior to our wedding, with deposit & all. However, just a few months before the wedding my original hired said "videographer" fell off the face of the planet. I did not know what to do. I did what I do best.. I googled.. Finally, I found main street & watched a video then 4 hours later I had watched everything I could ever find that they had done. The next morning, despite my doubt (maybe 5 weeks prior to our wedding) I called. That very morning (not days or weeks later) I was able to speak with Angela at length multiple times. I explained the story via phone (not email) & she was there a real person on the other side of the phone to listen, calm & reassure me. She became a friend that day, I felt peace in our conversations, especially when she casually said, "for some reason that saturday is the only one we have left". I even cried to her that day. I finagled my budget and booked main street productions! How could i not? This woman had been a true Godsend an answer to my prayers. I had always wanted a videographer, & now in an unfortunate situation I was blessed and fortunate enough to find the absolute best in the business. John showed up the day of ready to go & I saw him everywhere, absolutely oozing with talent! I don't know how they do it, but John & Angela run an amazing business. You will definitely not be disappointed they add so much to your planning and your day! I cannot wait to see our video and be able to relive it forever. As crazy as it is to say, losing that one guy was the best thing that happened to our wedding, because we got John and Angela!!! Their love for their work and each other shows through their film!! Main Street was with the wedding party all day, from the salon through the ceremony and reception. They were not only professional, but were fun. They did not feel imposing with their cameras, but instead felt like a part of the party. Also, we had a younger child(7) in the wedding. At the party they gave her her own video camera to walk around with. Awesome touch!!

Main Street Productions went above and beyond what I was expecting. my wedding film was the best way I could ever imagine to remember my big day. In addition to providing me with an additional great option for my venue and my budget, Main Street made me a special montage of footage of my grandmother at my wedding who past away around the time I was to get my video back at no extra charge. They were fast to answer emails and willing to work with me on picking up my wedding video (and even offered to bring it to my house). The quality of their footage is stunning! I would highly recommend them.

John and Angela are AMAZING!! They were most definitely one of the best decisions that I made for my wedding. On my wedding day, they were both extremely nice and did a fantastic job of capturing all the little moments that you don't really pay attention to on your wedding day, but that you would like to remember forever. Our video showed both me and my groom getting ready and having fun with our wedding party in the process, and they did a wonderful job of capturing the pre-wedding excitement and jitters that we both had. I absolutely LOVE the full-length video of our wedding ceremony, and especially that my groom had a mic on his shirt. We can hear our vows to each other again and again, and see all the faces that we made at each other during the ceremony. On our video you can hear us whispering to each other during the ceremony, and it's so amazing to hear all the things that we were thinking about during our wedding ceremony! My groom also apparently kept taking really deep breaths during the entire ceremony to keep from getting too emotional, and we LOVED hearing it on our video! :)

One of my favorite parts of our video is the highlights reel of our reception, and seeing everyone breaking it down and having a great time. What a wonderful way to remember every single part of our big day. I could watch it over and over again! One of the best things about John and Angela is that they really care about you as a couple -- you are NOT just another client to them. My husband is in the Army and deployed a few months after our wedding day. Once Main Street Productions found out that he would be leaving for a year, they made sure that our video would be ready before he left for Afghanistan. It was SO wonderful to be able to sit down with my husband and enjoy our video a week before he deployed. We absolutely loved watching it and reliving the magic of our big day together. Thank you SO SO much, Angela and John!!

I had some wonderful vendors on my wedding day, but I have to say Main Street Productions were the best! I would HIGHLY reccommend them to anyone looking for a videographer. I was already nervous about how everything would come together and about the day in general, on top of not being someone that is comfortable in front of a camera or a video camera, but the great team of Angela and John helped me calm down, laugh and enjoy the moment. My video turned out amazing!!! My parents said they felt like they were watching a real movie due to how great the quality of the video is. I would also defiinitely reccommend using them for your rehearsal dinner. I had to be talked into this by my mother in law, but seeing the finished product really made me happy with this decision. I would never be able to remember the wonderful speeches and details of that night and now I can watch it whenever I like! Thank you so much Angela and John for a wonderful video!

John and Angela Deaver are one of the absolute best vendors to work with! My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with them and our video was something we will treasure forever. If you are still deciding whether or not to use a videographer for you wedding I strongly suggest you do and you use Main Street Productions. They have a true talent for what they do and they do not disappoint! Words cannot describe how wonderful our wedding video is. Main Street Productions did something special for my wedding that was unique and breathtaking. They did a same day video edit that allowed my guests to see highlight of the days events at my reception! I was nervous because I knew it was very difficult to try and capture special moments as they happened that morning, then on top of that, edit at a SUPER FAST speed to make a 4 minute movie to show my guests the same day. And WOW!! Not only did they make the perfect same day video, they did it with a smile on their faces. That video is my fondest memory of my wedding. John and Angela make an exceptional team. Not only are they a true joy to work with, they create a phenomenal work of art.
John and Angela shot our wedding this past March. It was a last minute decision to hire a videographer, but we are so glad that we did. We have a memory unlike any other. The finished product was more perfect than we could ever have imagined. We laughed, and cried, and laughed, and cried, and laughed some more. At one point my mom said she even caught herself clapping out loud with the video! They have such a talent for capturing each and every moment in such a special way. They incorporate songs you choose into the video so uniquely. The way the video all comes together is unreal. We are so very pleased, and we are so thrilled to have this memory to enjoy and share for a liftetime.

Loved the husband and wife team - while I haven't seen the end product (wedding was September 3, 2011), I know it will be amazing. They were so professional and fun loving - were there yet not there - they knew how to capture the moments and yet not be intrusive. They were so easy to work with - we knew the first time we met her that they were the team for us. One of our best decisions and well worth the value. Angela and crew were absolutely wonderful. We decided pretty last minute to have a videographer due to budget constraints and only had them record the ceremony. But Angela worked with me to get in our budget and also to get what I wanted. You could tell they really just wanted to give us some wonderful memories on film (well, DVD)...that they were willing to go above and beyond what we had paid for to capture what they knew would be a special moment. If I had it to do over again, I would have them at the reception AND rehearsal dinner as well! EASY 5 stars. Very good price for the quality of work that you get. When planning our wedding, videography was something that I thought that I could live without. After talking to my sister, who got married a year before me, I decided it was something that I needed to consider. I spoke with my wedding planner who recommended Main Street Productions. I met with Angela and got to see a little bit of what they do. I was amazed! Honestly, using Main Street Productions was one of the best decisions that I made. They were so good about communicating with me before, during and after the wedding and the video is priceless. Angela Deaver and her husband are the videographers for their own company Main Street Productions. They were so friendly and cheerful and so much fun to work with! They offer a variety of options depending on your budget and are totally willing to work with each client in this area! I absolutely loved working with them! We received a sneak peak shortly after the wedding and they actually included more than just our first dance! We also got our video in an extremely timely manner, faster than we even expected! I 100 % recommend them to any couple looking for a videographer in Birmingham, Alabama!

When it came time to plan my wedding, I knew all of the essential things that were needed....flowers, church, photos, etc. but I thought that a video of the ceremony/reception was probably not necessary, but rather just a bonus.

Thankfully, I was given the name of Main Street Productions. They were so personable and had such reasonable prices. I decided that I would like to have a video of our special day and knew that they would be the ones to do it. I am more thankful for this investment than any other item from my wedding day. The photographs, while absolutely wonderful, are not moving pictures from my day like a video. The flowers died shortly after the event. The dress will likely never be worn again. The video though is something that I look back to often.

We have watched it every anniversary since, and every once in a while I will just watch it for the fun of it. I am so thankful for this investment. I tell everyone...get a video! You will be so thankful you did!

Main Street Productions was an absolute pleasure to work with. They knew exactly what I wanted and captured our special day perfectly. Their prices were wonderful and the service that they provided is unmatched. They were prompt and would definitely have been receptive if I had any problems (which I didn't).

If you are looking for a videographer in the Birmingham area, I definitely recommend Main Street Productions. From one bride to another, you won't be disappointed.

I didnt really understand the importance of having the wedding videotaped when my wife told me we were doing this. I understand now why we did this when i saw the video afterwards.

THEY were absolutely wonderful!! I always send their name to my friends who get engaged and would highly recommend them. They are great to work with and did an awesome job with the video and slide show!

John and Angela were the videographers in my sister’s wedding last year. They were so wonderful at hers that when I got engaged they were the FIRST vendor I booked. I also came into a bind during the middle of my wedding planning and they helped me find a wedding planner! They make your wedding day fun! We also did the "Love Story" and I was nervous about my now husband and if he would participate. They had him talking so much and saying the sweetest things. I told them that it was better than pre marital counseling. They are 12 out of 10. The highlight video they did at our wedding reception was amazing! Everyone is still talking about it.

HIGHLY recommend Main Street Productions for any event! They did the videography for my wedding day and also created the rehearsal dinner photo montage. Both turned out amazing! Not only is thier finished product great, but they are wonderful to work with. The Deavers are some of the nicest people you will meet. They took time before the event to really get to know us (the couple) so that they would capture everything that was meaningful to us and create a video that really represented our personalities and the wedding day. They are very flexible and willing to work with you.

The actual video turned out better than I ever expected. The background music was perfect, the video and editing quality was incredible, and the video included every important detail of the day. They captured so many moments, people, and events throughout the wedding and reception, and I never realized they were right there taping.

If you are looking for a high quality video memory of your special day (which I highly recommend), then Main Street Productions is what you are looking for.

Originally, my family had decided not to have a videographer for our wedding. Photography was the most important aspect to me and I hadn't budgeted for videography. However, my grandparents are getting older and my mother began to fear that this might be one of the last times the entire extended family was all together. So, my parents, husband, and I looked at a variety of videographers; we wanted something artsy, that captured the moment, that would be a life-long treasure. We found that mix in John Deaver's work at Main Street Productions. We went to meet with him and were very pleased with the customer service he provided and the attention to detail that he had, listening to our dreams for the video. When it came to our wedding day, John and his team were everywhere, catching special moments on film, but managing to do so unobtrusively. The team managed to include so many of our family members and created a phenomenal video. We are incredibly pleased with the videos, have already watched them countless times, and think that they will be such a treasure. It was definitely worth it! We recommend Main Street Productions for their customer service, their quality productions, their "bedside manor," and their price!

I would totally recommend using Angela and John from Main Street! They are professional and trustworthy and able to translate your style into video.The only thing you have left from your wedding are your memories and you want them to last a life time- Main Street captures your big day in a beautiful way! The work they put into editing the DVD is amazing- you can tell they are passionate about what they do! They go above and beyond!

They were great to work with on the wedding day. They showed up early! They were with us all day up until we left for our honeymoon. Very professional, we had two videographers. Both very nice and talented. It take a little while to get the video back , however when you get it, it's perfect. I wouldn't go with any other company to do my video. They were awesome!

The videography was totally my mother's idea. BUT I am glad that she did it. It was so nice to be able to go back and look at the occasion. The staff at Main Street were very discreet and professional. I barely knew they were there! The video was beautiful. I would have liked a video of the raw footage BUT... Overall I was very pleased....(It did take a bit longer than expected to get the the video.)

Our footage took longer than many of my friends' videos that were ready within weeks (3 months and longer for the archive edit). There were also some communication gaps. Numerous times we were told that the footage was coming, but I had to follow up several times only to find out it would be delayed further - multiple times. I'm in the client service industry (in public relations), and it's usually business 101 to communicate to your client when a deadline is. If you're going to miss it, you should proactively communicate why and when the client can expect it. I felt like I was pulling teeth at times to get an answer on when our highlight film and then archive edit would be ready, when in reality Angela should have been proactively communicating with me after missing deadlines. This could have to do with the fact that you pay for everything before the wedding, so there's really no motivation to turnover the final product. I would get in writing when you can expect your video when booking. Our end result was great, with one hiccup. We have no audio of our first look. I told Angela I didn't need it in the highlight film, but definitely wanted it in our archive edit so Hunter and I could relive that special moment. When we got our edit back, it was immediately noticeable that while my first look with my dad and brother and our ceremony sounded perfect, you couldn't hear a word Hunter and I said during our first look due to significant background noise (which is odd because my first look with my dad and brother was in the exact same spot minutes later and everything sounded fine). Angela tried to tell us we weren't mic'd - which we think is untrue as Hunter swears he was. Even if he wasn't, he should have been. When speaking with my mom, Angela went through several excuses: we were running late, many couples don't want that audio, etc. Never apologized. She ended up removing the background noise but you still can't hear anything we are saying.
