The best food and service!

Working with Evie and her incredible team at Main & Market was an absolute dream. The food was outstanding! So many guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. They made the entire process seamless, going above and beyond in ways we never expected. We can’t recommend them highly enough! Loved them!!

Exceeded Expectations!

From start to finish Main & Market did exactly what we needed them to do. They made the process painless for us. They provided amazing food, experienced staff and diverse menu options for guests with special dietary needs. Kim held my hand through from the beginning starting with the tasting then on to the menu selection, though the tableware and linen selection and venue layout. She was responsive, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She was not new to this and that was evident from the start. We could not have been happier.

Exceptional Catering & Service – Main & Market Made Our Day!

We had a June wedding in Annapolis, MD with 185 guests, and Main & Market absolutely exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The planning process was seamless – they were organized, responsive, and always a step ahead in making sure every detail was covered. The tasting was INCREDIBLE!

On the day of the wedding, the food and service were phenomenal. Our guests are still talking about the crab ball appetizers and bacon wrapped scallops – everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and so flavorful. The plated dinner service for nearly 200 people was executed flawlessly, which is no small feat. Each dish came out hot, perfectly cooked, and consistent across the board.

The staff was professional, attentive, and kind, making sure my husband and I (and our families) always had what we needed. It truly felt like they cared about making our day perfect. We never had to worry about a thing.

We cannot recommend Main & Market enough – their combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and stress-free coordination made our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

Wedding caterers

Kim was excellent to work with. From the tasting to the event she was responsive, very easy to communicate with, professional and all around made the experience easy and pleasurable.

How great the food was from the youngest guest to grandparents everyone loved the passed appetizers especially the crab crostini and lamb chops. Dinner was also a hit- the salmon was cooked perfectly.

Fantastic Experience

Main&Market was the most helpful vendor we had, and crucial to our planning our wedding ourselves. Not only is the food fantastic, but their setup/breakdown and arrangement of the rentals was a weight off my mind. Kim Parker is fantastic to work with: so helpful and genuinely nice to plan a wedding menu and table layout with. The food speaks for itself and we had so many compliments from guests on the menu. I cannot recommend them enough as a catering service!

Great Experience!

Main and Market was everything we were looking for in a caterer. Kim helped us create the most amazing meal for our guests and everyone absolutely loved it. Everyone was professional, kind, and helpful. In addition, the service staff that helped us were AMAZING. Casey was our lead server for our wedding and he made sure we got food first and was super helpful the whole night. I will be using Main and Market for any catering needs I may have in the future and will be recommending them to any and everyone.

Delicious Professional Incredble

We had an incredible experience with Main and Market from the start. We started with a 120-person wedding and squished it down to 74. Kim was the most patient, kind, and helpful vendor and was such a savior during so many parts of the planning process.

I did all of the initial wedding planning until I caved and got a day-of planner 3 months before our wedding date (who was also recommended by Kim and a DREAM to work with). Kim walked me through overall catering needs, logistics of everything from recommended number of food options for cocktail hour, reception, and after-party down to how to arrange the bar and pros/cons of bringing in more vendors for outside food or not. She never made us feel like she had any other intentions but to just genuinely give us the honest truth about what we were getting ourselves into with each decision. And thank goodness, because doing this all on my own for the first 9 months was A LOT.

She was so responsive and patient with my 900 menu changes and indecisiveness on menu, flatware, and linens. She made sure we had awareness of all guest allergies and food restrictions so our menu was safe for everyone and WOW were we blown away by the options. Food tasting there was SO fun and one of the highlights of my and my husband's experience during the planning process. Beyond the food being absolutely delicious, they were so generous with letting us sample options we were deciding between and let us have creative direction where needed. Our favorites were bringing a breakfast dessert to our reception dessert and making them personal sized for a buffet style dessert. We had so much fun picking flavor options and truly making this our own, from everything down to the design on our cake.

We've been to plenty of weddings where the food dries out or isnt cooked enough or just wasnt as good as it seemed to be when the couple did their tasting, but O M G!!!!! The food was amazing. Presentation was incredible for every meal and their staff was so fun. We don't love when staff pretend they're invisible at weddings because we want everyone to have a good time and feel like they're part of the fun and they were all SO sweet, complimenting us, saying how fun the night was and just being such a positive energy in the room. It was so fun to pass them and see them all genuinely smiling and seeming excited. We were so grateful for the experience from start to finish.

We will 700% recommend this team to anyone looking, weddings or not, and use them for any future events we need catering for. Thank you, Kim and your whole team for all you did. We are forever grateful.

Perfect wedding reception

Main and Market and in particular Kim Parker were perfect to work with. Our reception was very beautifully done. The food was perfect and the service was wonderful. Incredible, Amazing, we love Main & Market

Catering was the thing we were most nervous about for our wedding, but Main & Market hit it out of the park from Day One. We loved everything about working with them. Kim was amazing to coordinate with, and the rest of the team from rentals to the wedding day staff was just a joy. Every single person was amazing.

But the food -- WOW. We served a buffet style meal with two entree options: pineapple jerk chicken and ratatouille polenta. We loved the polenta so much and it was honestly the star of the night. Everybody talked about the food! The sides were incredible, the desserts were so tasty, and we also got a LOT of compliments on the cornbread.

You can't go wrong with Main & Market. We highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend! Thank you for everything!

Amazing catering services

Main & Market was amazing from beginning to end. My now husband and I decided to have a small backyard wedding with close friends and family. We reached out to several catering groups and Kim with Main & Market immediately followed up with very detailed information.

From the first call/email Kim helped with so many details, including ones we had not thought of ourselves (having never planned something like this). I told her the general idea of what we wanted and she was able to fully supply tables, table cloths, plates, etc. There was not a single detail overlooked.

On the day of the wedding, her team showed up right on time and set up everything perfectly so I did not have to worry about a single thing. The food was unbelievable - every single person attending talked about how delicious everything on the buffet was.

At the end of the night they cleaned everything up and packaged up all our leftover food so we didn't have to worry about a single thing.

Could not recommend their catering services more!!

M&M is the BEST!!

We used Main and Market for our wedding recently and it was fantastic!!! Kim was amazing to work with and made sure every detail was perfect.
We did a taco and pasta bar and all of our guests raved about the food! The staff working our wedding were all so kind and attentive to me and my husband.

Top Notch Service!

Our experience with M&M was amazing from start to finish. Nanette, our sales consultant, was fabulous to work with. She was super responsive to all of my questions throughout the whole planning process. The day of service was top notch, all of the M&M staff were so professional and kind. Our guests raved about the food, particularly the apppetizers (we had beef empenadas, crab cake, chicken skewers & spring rolls) and cake. We had several guests tell us we had the best wedding food they've ever had. I would hire M&M again in a heartbeat!

Delicious food, excellent communication and service

Main & Market Catering ensured delicious food and drink, as well as gorgeous table spreads, at our wedding at London Town. All of our guests are still raving about the food and service. As the bride and groom, we hadn’t expected to have a chance to eat much throughout the busy day, but M&M took care of us by assigning someone—Jackie—to check in and bring us hors d’oeuvres and drinks. We’ll never forget how much we appreciated her that day!
Not only was M&M fabulous on the wedding day, but they were also great to work with for the entire 13 months leading up to our wedding. Kim was always so responsive whenever we had an update or questions, and she communicated well across us and our wedding coordinator—in fact, we found our coordinator on Kim’s recommendation, which turned out to be yet another fabulous decision. Kim also gave us advice on counts and what food options best fit our vision. Kim set up, and accompanied us on, a visit to a rental company to pick our linens and dinnerware, too. Moreover, Kim personally attended both our tasting and our on-site venue walkthrough, where her expertise once again proved crucial as we decided what tables should go where; she also volunteered to add some small rentals to our order once we realized we needed them, like an easel. That was the last thing I would have wanted to worry about doing myself at that moment—yet another reason out of many as to why we are thrilled that we went with Main & Market.
Main & Market is a high-quality vendor that you can trust. We are thrilled to have used them.

The most amazing caterer!

Main & Market was the best caterer we ever could’ve brought on to work with us on our wedding. The food was incredible and people are still raving about it. The service was top notch—from the bartending to the catering to the cake and cupcakes—it was perfect. We had a designated point person, Jacqueline, who checked on us the whole night and kept us fed and kept drinks in our hands. I can’t say enough great things about Main & Market. Work with Kim on your wedding and you won’t regret it!

Guests are still gushing about the food a month later!

Working with Kim at Main and Market to plan the food and beverage portion of our wedding was a wonderful experience. She collaborated with us to design the perfect menu, and was a great partner in actualizing our vision. Any adjustment or tweak was taken in stride, and she was entirely respectful of our budget.

Kim's team onsite the day of the wedding was absolutely fabulous. There was always a staff member stepping up with a drink or snack whenever I looked up from a conversation on my wedding day. They were so lovely to work with, and our guests continue to compliment the quality of food AND service a month later. Many have asked for the caterer's details so they too can work with such a great company!

No regrets

Our guests were raving about our appetizers, buffet and ice cream bar. Main and Market listened when we provided our theme (beach vibes) and assisted in creating a menu of our favorite foods. We saw guests get second and sometimes third plates of food. The catering/bartender staff were incredible and throughout the night. Highly recommend!

Everything and More I Hoped For! (Though I expected nothing less)

Main and Market was exactly what I thought it would be. Kim was incredibly responsive, detail oriented and calm. She instilled complete confidence in us, I knew the day would be perfect. She helped us pick out our linens, rentals, and more. All of the staff were incredibly professional and incredible. Got multiple comments of "that is probably the best wedding food I have ever had, it was so delicious" or the "at some point in the night I stopped drinking and went to town on dessert". I knew they were the best pick and I was not disappointed. Next event? Main and Market will be our pick. Do yourself a stress free and delicious favor and book Main and Market.

Spring Wedding

We had a wonderful time and could not have done it without main and market! They were super flexible and handled everything from rentals, food, drink and most importantly cake. My friends and family were raving about the food and no one was left hungry. My husband and I were also taken care of during the event too and had plenty of food. The drinks were a hit too. Incredible experience with Main & Market!

Our wedding was perfect and the team at Main & Market could not have been a better catering service to work with. The food was absolutely delicious (crowd favorites for the crab dip, the tortellini, and the salmon). The food service was incredibly efficient, nobody had to wait for the passed hors d'oeuvres and the dinner service ran very smoothly. My husband and I were never once contacted on the wedding day for any questions or concerns and that speaks volumes of how prepared Main & Market is to follow a plan and not have to reach out to the bride or groom. We cannot say enough good things about the servers. The team was phenomenal! They went above and beyond to help make our day run smoothly and feel extra special. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure our guests were well taken care of with whatever they needed.

PERFECTION! Wedding - 80ppl @ Chesapeake Bay Foundation

Main and Market made our 10/1/22 wedding day at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation perfect. For starters, Nanette is an absolute treasure. She went above and beyond with everything. She made sure every detail (food selection, food display, décor, service, etc.) was flawlessly executed. Not to mention she is so kind, and made the entire process easy and fun. If you do not have the pleasure to work with Nanette, still rest assure, the food will be amazing. We received compliments on how delicious the food was, even from our most particular guests. M&M also coordinated our rentals for the venue, through Rentals to Remember. We did not go over the top with décor. They had enough selection to capture what we needed at a reasonable price.

Our Daughter's Wedding

Our experience for our daughter's wedding was excellent. The entire team headed by Evie Turner worked so well together and helped us figure out everything, not just food. They helped us find the right rental company for the linens, furniture and dance floor and the day of went off without a hitch. Our day of coordinator Nan was so professional and everything moved with ease from start to finish. Main and Market is a class act!!!

Main and Market was our number one choice from the start. We were one of those couples who eloped during COVID and finally just had a reception celebration at a later date. Kim worked with us to perfect our menu and it was amazing. Our guests were so happy with everything She helped us create the look we were looking in regards to our tables, centerpieces and linens. When we arrived everything was perfect! Kim even went above and beyond to help us get a few last minute things done! Christina the bartender was amazing! Amazing Caterer and Service

I can’t say enough about Main and Market. We worked with Kim to plan the most beautiful wedding at our home. She supported us in finding all the vendors we needed and guided us through ever step of picking out the food and all the details. She came over and did a walk through and was there on our wedding day to make sure it was perfect which it was! People are still raving about the food and the servers were also very friendly and wonderful. The food is elegant but also delicious and you can try your food before the event to make sure you love it all. Also the cake was amazing! Our big day would not have been the same without using Main and Market. I can’t say enough about the service they provide.

The Best Catering in Annapolis!

Main and Market was awesome to work with from our first meeting in 2019 until we were able to finally have our wedding in September 2022 after multiple Covid reschedules. From menu planning to contracting to the many changes we ended up needing make, they were wonderful to work with. Our guests can’t stop raving about the food and the service and the cake, well the cake is just delicious! Evie went above and beyond to help us with some complications on the wedding day and even helped us find a golf cart to help transport some of our guests with mobility issues. Great Caterer

We really loved having Main & Market as our caterer. Julie was really easy to work with and super responsive to all of our questions. We got so many compliments on the food! And we did chocolate chip cookies and shots of milk as part of our dessert.

Amazing catering company

Big should out to Diane Fantone! Covid was tough for planning but Diane was so amazing and responsive and really ensured it was an amazing day. Diane was my point person there and was so flexible with adjustments and questions I had. The people that were appointed for the day to work our wedding were absolutely awesome! Big shout out to the bartenders they were just absolutely amazing in every way! The food and presentation was delicious and my guests so enjoyed it. Main & Market was attentive, kept the drinks flowing and served amazing food! I highly recommend them! Thanks Diane for being amazing!

Delicious Food, Kind Staff, and Quick Responses

You cannot go wrong with M&M! They catered our rehearsal dinner, our brunch the day of the wedding, as well as the entire wedding and cake! Basically one stop shop (and are affordable and LOCAL!). Not to mention, their staff is kind and considerate and they aren't pushy. We did a few tastings and always felt so pushed to make decisions and were overwhelmed all the options that some caterers gave or all the pretentiousness of other vendors. M&M made us feel at home and their staff was one of the most important reasons we selected them. The food from all vendors we tried was delicious, but having staff that cared about us from the get go was the deciding factor. The food though - was absolutely stunning and delicious. We had a postponed wedding and we had to make all these last minute changes - for example we had a station food item that needed to be passed around as well as all our other cocktail hour Hor D'oeuvers and they were extremely accommodating. We were originally planning our wedding with Diane (the deciding factor I mentioned earlier was completely because of her kind demeanor) but due to COVID and staff change ups at M&M we were placed with Evie - who didn't disappoint and was just as kind and caring as Diane. Diane even showed up at our wedding and came and congratulated us and made sure things were going smooth with the kitchen and I was so happy to see her and so glad she got to see her final work! (: We can't wait to use them in the future. (Also, our CAKE WAS PHENOMENAL!).

My husband and I worked with both Evie and Julie and they were both absolutely wonderful to work with. We loved how friendly and accommodating all of the Main & Market staff were. Before the big day, both ladies talked me through ideas, engaged with me, and really tried to make our perfect day happen. On the wedding day, everything was seamless. Mother of the bride planning a wedding during covid

After Covid-19 led to canceling the venue and in-house caterer for my daughter’s wedding, we switched to an intimate, family-only wedding in my backyard. We immediately turned to Main & Market; they’ve catered a couple of parties for us, and we’ve always loved their food. Our wedding guests did too. From the hors d'oeuvres to the entrées and the gorgeous cake, we all thought the food was absolutely delicious. And Jennifer and Judy, who staffed our event, did a superb job. Jennifer smoothly and unobtrusively served the courses and kept our glasses filled and even offered helpful ideas during setup. Judy, who cooked on site, thoughtfully packed up two additional meals for the bride and groom to take home and slices of cake for each of the guests. After they left, the kitchen was so clean that we couldn't even tell they had been there.

A big thank you to Evie, who made it all come together, and to Jennifer and Judy for making the evening extra special.

Fall In Love with Main & Market

From the moment we met Diane, my daughter and I knew she was the right person to hire for her big day. Diane executed our vision from start to finish. The food was amazing! Our guests loved the special twist Main & Market did for our brunch reception. Our theme was “ Fall in Love”, and the pumpkin pancakes were a hit! Our guests also enjoyed the hot caramel apple cider. The set up and clean up was worry free for us. Diane abs her team took care of it all! Main & Market is well worth the price. They took care of the cake, linens, and china, tables, and chair rentals. You can’t beat going with this all inclusive wedding vendor.

Incredible!!!!

I do not even know where to start! From the initial inquiry to my wedding day Nanette was my go to girl who took care of everything. Our initial consultation was on time, she answered all of my questions and then we decided to schedule a tasting. She answered every one of my emails in a timely fashion and became my rock through the whole process. The tasting was amazing, and their food was absolutely incredible. I booked them over a year away from the wedding and when it came time to have our linen appointment, she was there walking us through every single step and was personally there! I could not have been more blessed with how her and the company took care of every detail the day of the wedding. All of my guests raved about the food and presentation of the workers from the caterers. Each one of them went above and beyond to give my guests a night they will never forget. I can not thank them enough for making my wedding seamless, on time and best of all without flaw. I would not only recommend them to cater weddings, but any event that you may want to have. Thank you to Nanette and her team for making it the best day of my life.

Highly recommend!

I'm so glad we chose Main & Market!
I've had several people from the wedding say it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We didn't want to do typically chicken or fish and potatoes, we wanted pasta and chicken parmesan. Julie was our contact and she was flexible and responsive to our ideas, and she was always looking for ways to be more efficient and cost effective (save us money!!)

We had a tent wedding so we had to build the event from the ground up and she helped make it all happen.

And... I found out 3 weeks after the wedding, there was an issue with cooking at the venue so they drove back across the bay bridge to their kitchen in Annapolis and I had no idea! That's the kind of service they deliver.
Lastly - it was all the excellent quality and service and it was a great price. Like, wayy less expensive than most of the places I had looked.

Highly recommend for any event.

We would definitely recommend Main and Market as we had a wonderful experience working with them.

Debra was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning of our cocktail hour and reception. She was well organized, knowledgeable, and personable. She made us feel comfortable and at ease as we narrowed down our choices for the menu. There was no rush during our tasting and Debra was open to our ideas for modifications of certain items.

Debra was very responsive in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our wedding. She did a great job when we did our on-site walkthrough of the property (and she brought desserts!), considering logistics we hadn’t thought of that would have made the day of the wedding more stressful if it wasn’t brought up.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding throughout the wedding. We received many compliments about the appetizers, buffet, and bourbon ice cream. The biggest hit may have been the warm buttermilk biscuits with honey butter (so good!). The catering staff were professional, friendly, and attentive to guest requests. Debra was also on-site to make sure everything ran smoothly.

Main and Market contributed in a big way to making sure our wedding night exceeded our expectations.

Terrific Food and Customer Service!!

One of the most repeated compliments we received after our wedding was how amazing all the food was and I absolutely agree!! It was tough at first trying to decide which vendor to go with for something this important, but once we started talking with Julie who was our extremely nice and responsive point of contact for the caterer and saw the wide range of options and flexibility they provided, we knew we had found our place. For the day of they were right on time and delivered everything they had promised, including a very helpful and friendly staff who seemed to go above and beyond for us. Having talked about it afterwards, both my wife and I would absolutely go with them again if we had to do it all over!

Fabulous Caterer

Main and Market catered our daughter's wedding on our waterfront farm on the Maryland Eastern Shore this past weekend. Debra and her staff are seasoned professionals and effortlessly took care of every detail. First, they helped make our farm look like a dreamy wedding venue -- the tables were beautifully staged, and they even set up the chairs in a semicircle pattern for the waterfront ceremony. Second, the service was impeccable, including cocktails and butler served appetizers in the barn, sit-down dinner service in the tent, and four fully-stocked bars in two separate venues on the farm. Debra went out of her way to make sure that all our needs were fully met throughout the evening. Finally, EVERYONE RAVED about the food -- from the scallops, shrimp and honey chicken appetizers to the tenderloin and crab cake dinner to the mini cupcakes. The bottom line is do not hesitate to hire Main and Market -- you will not regret it, the are A++++. I am attaching pictures of the venues that Main and Market set up. Wedding Caterer

Everything tasted wonderful and I recieved several complements on the food. The entire staff the day of the wedding entire were great. They answered questions, helped with a couple of special unexpected needs and were gracious to everyone. I would highly recommend Main & Market to anyone. Also everyone loved the wedding cake!!! Great food and great staff!

The women who worked our wedding were so wonderful! They created beautiful displays for the buffet and dessert table and even used decor we forgot we had to make everything look gorgeous! If any questions arose they asked my Maid of Honor very discreetly and ran everything perfectly. The food was amazing and the cupcakes were a complete hit!

Outstanding wedding caterer! Nanette with main & market!

From the very beginning I absolutely loved Nanette. I tried calling many different caterers for my wedding, but none of them compared to her friendliness and professionalism. She immediately was engaged and wanted to work with me on getting it within our budget. She was personable, kind, and easy to work with from the very beginning.
During the tasting, she was knowledgable and extremely hospitable. She listened to all our ideas and concerns. She was extremely helpful and offered us many different food options. I felt as if our caterer was also our friendly host and greatly enjoyed our time at Main and Market. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and inviting. Nanette had many great ideas both to save money and what to expect the day of. We had two more tastings before the wedding. One for my husband, who came from Minnesota and the other to clarify what we wanted to add. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely! We went home with full bellies, even though it was just supposed to be samples.
The day of the wedding, the staff couldn’t have been better! They were all extremely hospitable, hard working, well dressed, and well mannered. My husband asked for ginger ale at least two times at the sweetheart table and it was there in a snap. We still get compliments on how good the food was. We also added an ice cream bar and mini pecan pies a month before the wedding, and they had it there with no problem! My husband, mother, father and I highly recommend this caterer and Main & Market to anyone! They did such a fantastic job and hope to use them again in the future! Meanwhile, we are thoroughly enjoying their restaurant and all there delicious food and hospitality there.

Fantastic!

Diane was wonderful! She was very flexible with appointment times for our tasting, and accommodating several special requests for our dinner options. She also helped with our rentals and was very responsive, professional, and definitely went the extra mile to make our day great! So many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, and Diane definitely helped us pick a stellar menu. In addition, Main & Market's bakery baked our wedding cake, which was AMAZING! Best cake I've ever had. My husband's parents also hired M&M for the rehearsal dinner, and mine for the farewell brunch- both were great. Overall we couldn't be happier with Main & Market, and we'll definitely be hiring them again in the future!

Most complimented vendor at our wedding!

I could not be more thrilled with the wonderful food, professional service and constant support that Main & Market provides for us. From the first tasting, Julie was incredible to work with. We had a clear vision of delicious food, family style was very important to us, and we wanted both rentals and open bar to be provided by our caterer. Choosing Main & Market to cater our wedding reception was the best decision that we made! About 4 months before our wedding we decided to hire a full-service caterer which was when we contacted M&M. Julie responded almost immediately and drafted a menu based on our vision incorporating hints of Texas and Annapolis to create an ‘Annapolitan style BBQ’. Julie was there for me every step of the way to keep me calm and reassure me that she had everything under control. M&M provided our food, alcohol, cake, service, and rentals (which made my life SO much easier). The food and drinks were incredible and the service was amazing. My husband and I struggled to find a bakery that would provide sugar free cupcakes for our wedding. We had 6-10 guests that were diabetic and we wanted them to enjoy themselves and have dessert options. Main & Market saved the day. Nanette invited us in for a personal tasting, provided us with all of the options and was very helpful in the decision making process. In the end we chose six types of mini cupcakes including two sugar free options, four types of mini finger desserts including one sugar free option and a two tier cake for cutting. Everything was delivered correct and on time. Our guests couldn’t wait to start sampling the selection at our wedding. They are still raving about the variety, how delicious everything was and how wonderful our cake looked! I plan to continue to go to Main and Market for all of our dessert needs in the future. I would recommend Main and Market to anyone looking for friendly service, gorgeous desserts but most importantly scrumptious desserts.

We worked with Debra Darrow at Main & Market and we had a fabulous experience. She worked out a fantastic menu based on our budget. The tasting session was out of this world. She listened, she was quick to respond, and made sure all of the arrangements were in place. Debra took care of the linens, the seating, chairs, ice, mixers, and everything we did not think of with all of the fine touches throughout. This could have been stressful for us trying to ensure we had everything covered. Debra has been through this so many times she took all of our concerns and walked every detail with us. The best part is all her planning made our dream wedding come true. Food and staff were perfect and Debra was there every step of the way, including our reception where she made sure it was perfect Debra is family now and we are grateful to call her so. We hired Main & Market for our June 2017 Annapolis waterfront rehearsal dinner and wedding. We worked closely with Debra to plan a menu that fit the casual vibe we were going for. She was fantastic at every step of the way. Her knowledge, organization, and advice during the planning process was fantastic, and made the whole thing feel easy! M & M was very flexible and we felt like we could customize things exactly how we wanted them to be. We even added sheet cakes and a small cutting cake to our order at the last minute after changing our minds about dessert. We did an open bar using their bartenders, and provided our own alcohol, which was not a problem at all. We never felt as though we were being "nickel and dimed" for every last expense, which was refreshing. On the day of the event, the catering staff and bartenders did an awesome job. They were willing to do basically whatever we wanted them to, including setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, etc. The service charge is a significant portion of the bill, but it was worth EVERY PENNY! The food was outstanding, and I received so many compliments afterwards. They really just nailed it on every level and we couldn't be happier with our choice of caterer! Thanks Main & Market!

Main & Market were wonderful to work with! Debra was so great from start to finish - helping us with our budget, providing recommendations, and answering questions easily. Main & Market (formerly Main Ingredient) was a joy to work with. My husband and I picked them because, in addition to amazing food, the process of renting chairs and everything else was made very easy since we did it all through this company. It probably ended up a little more expensive, but we continue to feel that it was very worth it. Our contact, Nanette Williams, was also a huge factor in how happy we are with Main & Market. She was a coordinator, advocate, problem solver, and just an amazing human being. I am very grateful that she was so instrumental in making our reception wonderful. And not to forget! But frankly, we didn't have a single unhappy encounter with any of the Main & Market staff. They were all professional and took the time to be sure everything was going well. The Main Ingredient catered my daughter's wedding on September 25, 2016. Our event planner through Main Ingredient, Nanette, was totally amazing. From the first time we met with Nanette to putting the finishing touches on the decorations at the venue, Nanette was a completely supportive professional. The food which Nanette helped us select was excellent . There was a delightful variety of vegetarian, gluten free and slider stations which our guests greatly enjoyed. The service staff and bartenders on Martha's Crew moved around gracefully and were non- intrusive while providing excellent service. The set-up and breakdown was quick and efficient.

I cannot praise the Main Ingredient enough. We had the best experience working with them for our wedding. The coordinator we worked with, Nanette, was absolutely phenomenal. She was professional, courteous, and flexible. Nanette had great suggestions for the menu and timing of events and she helped make sure everything was organized on the day of our wedding.

The staff who worked on the day of were also great. Everyone was professional and friendly but also unobtrusive. The lead waiter, Martha, was so thoughtful! She brought a bottle of wine to me and my girls while we were getting ready. She also brought us food while we waited for pictures. And best of all, she made sure we ate dinner. That was key because if she hadn't taken us aside and given us plates we might never have eaten haha. The staff took care of everything and we didn't have to stress about anything. They were awesome.

The food was absolutely delicious, all of our guests raved about the food. And it was still good the next day when we had leftovers. We did cupcakes instead of cake and they were SO GOOD. Everyone enjoyed them. Overall, I would say that the Main Ingredient was worth every penny.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! The whole process was easy, simple, and yummy! :) You couldn't tell the sheet cakes from the real wedding cake either, and it turned out great.

There aren't enough good things I could say about The Main Ingredient, our consultant, and our on-site staff! They allowed us to have a totally custom menu with Polish, southern, and Annapolis stations for our dinner and a dessert buffet following the same theme. From selecting our linens to making our wedding cake, working with them as an absolute dream. The on-site staff was amazing and I never had to ask for anything! As soon as my husband and I arrived at the reception, we had drinks and appetizers waiting on us. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you did to make our day perfect!

Let me begin by saying our daughter's wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Main Ingredient Catering was wonderful to plan and work with. Our initial visit and tasting was done very nicely. The staff was very helpful in planning our menu and linen choices. During the planning months the staff was always very quick to reply to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, the staff was very organized and efficient in setting up and serving guests. And, most importantly, the food was presented very beautifully, was delicious, and plentiful. I would highly recommend Main Ingredient Caterers to provide the menu at any event.

The Main Ingredient was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! After choosing a dress & a venue the next most pressing decision is who is going to cater our big day! All of our guests absolutely raved about the food. We were married out on the Chesapeake Bay on a 100 ft chartered yacht...We had butler passed hors d'oeuvres & 2 serving stations. Everything was hot and delicious. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and easy to work with too. I would absolutely recommend The Main Ingredient to anyone who has a catering need!

Already big fans of Main Ingredient's food, we sourced them to supply our custom cupcakes & wedding cake. Their accommodations exceeded expectations from day one as their taste testing was exceptional and we were able to customize our cupcakes exactly how we wanted them. We received SO many compliments on their cupcakes and their wedding cake was delicious. We would work with them again in a heartbeat.

The Main Ingredient was wonderful to work with from day one. They were accommodating and flexible throughout the entire process and I never worried about the cake. I was able to describe my design and with a few ideas from pinterest, they created exactly what I had in mind. Not only that, but everyone raved about the wedding cake! We had three different flavors, and all of them were a hit with our 200 guests. I would highly recommend their services.

The Main Ingredient was just perfect for our wedding cake! I grew up in Annapolis and every year for my birthday my friends get me their red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting so when I was getting married it was an easy decision (although we did test other places just to be sure!). We did two flavors in the actual cake, one for me and one for my husband (strawberry shortcake and chocolate with chocolate mousse) and a separate flavor for the anniversary top cake. We couldn't do cream cheese frosting on the actual cake, but they gave me the great (and cost saving) option to do a sheet cake of red velvet with cream cheese. We only had cake as our dessert so having 3 options for our guests was perfect. The cake was delicious and design looked great!

The Main Ingredient was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding cake. We always loved their food from the cafe and other events we had been too and knew we wanted them for our wedding cake. From the very first meeting, the Main Ingredient team was so kind, responsive, and professional. Not to mention their cake tastes AMAZING! The best! Main Ingredient provided our cakes (and delivered right to the venue!) We did something different and offered our guests a 'cake bar' and ordered 5 different delicious cakes. The whole cakes were beautifully displayed on a table and our guests were able to cut their own piece(s)! They are still raving about how delicious everything was! (amazing Cannoli filling cake, super rich chocolate decadence - which was gluten free, and perfect red velvet... just to name a few) Jessica at Main Ingredient was wonderful to work with! She was quick to reply to an email/phone call. The Tasting was super helpful and wonderfully presented. Thank you so so much for providing the cakes for the best day of my life!

The Main Ingredient and Jessica made the impossible, POSSIBLE.

Less than two weeks notice and a daughter who decided that she really wanted a wedding, a full blown wedding which went from appetizers only for twenty to an appetizer hour, a full course meal, bar, and desserts to accompany a wedding cake for 52. Oh and don't forget that we need EVERYTHING. Yes, our venue would be providing the tables and chairs but we would need all the rest. Overwhelming for most but Jessica had it all under control, stayed within our budget, and it was PHENOMENAL! I would HIGHLY recommend The Main Ingredient.

Main Ingredient catered my son's wedding last weekend and they did a fabulous job! The service was great......very attentive and great attention to detail in the set up. The food was fantastic! The crab cakes are the best and the tortellini was outstanding. The hors d'oeuvres were unique and yummy....mini corn dogs with a spicy ketchup, soup sip of roasted tomato soup and grilled cheese triangle, mini crab cakes with lemon aioli and MD fried chicken bite on a biscuit drizzled with honey. AND, they made the bride's favorite funfetti cake! The cake was covered in colorful sprinkles and finished with a beautiful fondant bow around each of the four layers. Wonderful job Main Ingredient.......THANK YOU!!!

We tried several cake vendors and main ingredient far surpassed the others. The cake and icing weren't too sweet. We were able to get cupcakes and a mini cake for cutting. They came right on schedule and were beautiful. The cupcakes are still good (we froze some)!!

I loved my cake! It was exactly what we ordered. Even our tasting was fun and we had an opportunity try different flavors. Everyone enjoyed the cake so much, they took pieces home. I could not have imagined a better catering company to work with for my wedding. My husband and I wanted a laid back, but still nice, meal for our guests, and the Main Ingredient was definitely able to create the desired "feel" of the evening.

Rachel Cloud did an amazing job of listening to our ideas, updating and making changes to our proposal when needed, and keeping us organized. We must have sent countless emails back and forth and she was always quick to respond and stayed on top of everything.

We got so many compliments on the food at our wedding (we did a buffet style). My husband and I were brought our food plates so we were able to actually sit down and enjoy the meal ourselves. Right before the ceremony one of the bartenders brought me a glass of wine (very very nice! :) ).

The Main Ingredient also did our cake, which turned out great.

Very affordable, great people, everything went smoothly- would definitely recommend!

They were really easy to work with. Their cakes are amazing. I did mini-cupcakes for our wedding and got a small cake. I was really happy with the value i got. My friend used them for her wedding last year and i used them for mine. If I ever have needs for another cake from them I will definitely use them again.

We are so thankful for The Main Ingredient.

The attention that our wedding received was one of a kind and we couldn't have been happier. Every request we made was fulfilled. All of our guests were pleased and when we had a couple of guests request seconds, the staff was more than accommodating and brought out a few more plates!!!!

We had a couple of grandparents that were unable to attend. The Main Ingredient made sure that we had a dozen cupcakes saved back and packaged up for us to take to them in the days following. Let me tell you, the cupcakes were just as wonderful in the days following as they were the night of!

Main Ingredient was AMAZING! I worked with Rachel and Angela who made it very easy on us. During the event they made sure the bride and groom had everything they needed but the staff was equally as attentive with the guests. Rachel was so quick to respond, listened to all of our ideas and made suggestions based off of her expertise when needed. I definitely think they are reasonably priced, especially for the service and professionalism you receive. Everyone raved about the food, the tortellini was so delicious! They even helped cater the brunch the next day. I would 100% recommend them to someone looking for a caterer for any event.

My fiance was insistent that he wanted cupcakes for our wedding. It was a great choice! We had a smaller cake for us to cut into and then two different flavored cupcakes for all of the guests. The cupcakes were outstanding. We went with lemon, raspberry preserves and sweet butter cream for half and chocolate rum with raspberry preserves and sweet butter cream for the other half. Our guests loved them! Jessica was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Rather than have one cake for our wedding, my husband and I decided to have a "cake buffet" with many kinds of cake for our guests to choose from. We ordered the cakes from The Main Ingredient and the process couldn't have been easier. We went in and sampled different cakes, ordered 8, and they were delivered on time to our venue. Not only was every cake delicious, but they were all beautiful, which made for a pretty amazing cake display. We got so many compliments from our guests about the presentation and taste of the cakes. I chose the Main Ingredient to provide my wedding cake after they were recommended by my venue, the Westin Annapolis. My now-husband and I had our tasting scheduled for the morning after the horrible "Derecho" storm in July of 2012. Despite the widespread power outages, Main Ingredient was opened and its staff was all there to greet us with a smile. Although all the cake we tried was delicious, we chose a red velvet "main" cake and a chocolate sheet cake for our reception. I gave a general idea of what I wanted, but did not get into too much detail, so you can imagine how happy I was when I saw the cake at the reception and it was EXACTLY what I had in mind! It looked absolutely beautiful, and tasted delicious as well! In addition, the pricing was very reasonable and within my budget. I would definitely recommend the Main Ingredient to a bride looking for a delicious cake for her wedding!
