Maher’s Florist and Jo Ann were a breeze to work with and made florals one of the easiest parts to plan for my wedding! We had an in-person meeting about 6 months before my wedding after I went back and forth on using rentals or faux florals. Jo Ann was familiar with my venue and was able to bring my vision (and Pinterest board) to life for less than any other quote! She sent a proposal over complete with images and descriptions of chosen flowers/greenery, etc within a few days of our meeting and sent me bouquet pictures the day before the wedding. When I decided to save a little money and used non-floral centerpieces, she updated the proposal and quote immediately, no questions asked. We also had a large wedding party- each and every bouquet, boutonniere, wristlet and flower crown looked impeccable day-of! I would recommend Maher’s to anyone!

I couldn’t be happier with my wedding flowers. I asked for colorful and that’s what I got! So so gorgeous and I have gotten so many compliments. I brought in pictures and Mahers made sure to make them perfect and also educate me along the way when I found pictures online that are photoshopped. When our timeline changed and we decided to move things forward, they arranged things so my flowers would be there right when I get there. They’re very responsive and I received photos 2 days before the wedding to be sure I was okay with everything. I can’t say enough good things about Mahers.

Every flower was perfect!
Every flower in each arrangement, bouquet etc was blooming perfectly, vibrant in color, looked even better than the example photo and held up very well. JoAnn was very patient with countless emails to be sure we had the design right. Could not have asked for a better florals and florist at a great price.

BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements!
We got married on 10/23/21 in Stevensville, MD and a friend who also got married in the area had recommended Maher’s to us. We met with Kim and she was very easy to work with. I feel like she knew what I wanted more than I did because after showing her just a few inspiration ideas from Pinterest, she emailed me flowers that were exactly what I wanted without knowing anything about flowers. She sent me a sneak peek of my bouquet and my bridesmaids’ bouquet a few days before the wedding and they were even more beautiful than what I imagined! Not only were the bouquets beautiful, but the arrangements they put together for our arch, wine barrels, and tables were also stunning!

My wedding flowers were beautiful! Maher's was flexible and understanding when my wedding was postponed due to covid. Their staff helped me tweak my order when rescheduling and certain blooms would no longer be in season and available, but still keeping my overall vision. Great experience overall!

Mahers was absolutely wonderful. I 100% recommend them for your wedding and I will absolutely use them again for any floral needs. I'm not gonna lie, flowers aren't really my favorite thing to spend money on; so the budget wasn't very large. But even with a limited budget, the flowers were absolutely stunning. Mahers was reasonably priced and great to work with. They sent me pictures leading up to the wedding to make sure I was happy with how the flowers were turning out and met me at a seperate location than my venue to deliver me my bouquet for pictures. I was like you, reading reviews and visiting different florists. But I fell in love with Mahers as they helped my ideas come to reality. I changed my mind a bunch and they were able to help and give me all kinds of recommendations! My favorite part about Mahers and why I am so glad I chose them is because they sent me pictures of my arrangements ahead of time. I am so happy I chose Maher's Florist for my floral arrangements for my wedding 2 weeks ago! JoAnn was a dream to work with and made everything so easy for my when it came to all of my arrangements from the bouquets, boutonnières, and even a beautiful floral spray for an arch over my ceremony spot. She was very easy to communicate with and sent me pictures of my and my bridesmaids' bouquets the day before my wedding to make sure they were what I wanted. I also had a last minute change in logistics that she easily accommodated. All of arrangements were beautiful and she even put some touches of gold spray on my bouquet to match my wedding colors! I would highly recommend Maher's for any occasion!

I was blown away by the amazing service from Maher's Flowers. My then fiancee and I went to the shop and met with JoAnn to discuss our vision. I wanted sunflowers but wasn't sure that was possible, but it totally was. Since we didn't really have anything to go on besides my desire for sunflowers, JoAnn gave us several options and was prompt about later emailing me pictures of what she was talking about during our in person meeting. We were really able to customize the bouquets, corsages, and, boutonnieres. What really helped a great deal was that Maher's was very familiar with our venue (Celebrations at the Bay). We discussed how the arch should be decorated and throughout the process, I received valuable feedback with what looked good and what didn't on that arch since they have experience with decorating it. Not only that, but at the last minute, I wanted to add flowers to the tables in addition to the centerpieces. I emailed JoAnn with some picture examples and we came up with a simple, elegant, and affordable option.
The day before the wedding, I received text messages of what the bouquets looked like and I was blown away! It was very re-assuring to be able to see a picture of them beforehand and I was told during the initial meeting, that if they didn't look right in the pictures they sent, then the bouquets could easily be fixed. They were perfection.
The day of, everything was set up by the time I arrived at the venue. All the flowers were breathtaking. They were very fresh and alive, vibrant in color and they lasted. We had a Saturday wedding and none of the flowers started to even look sad for several days.
I do not have enough great things to say about Maher's Florist. They have amazing service, beautiful product, experience and skill, and I did not spend as much money as I though I would. They are very affordable.

We had a great experience with Maher's Florist as we looked for local flowers for our waterfront wedding! I had multiple appointments during our 6 month planning and they were very flexible in both the scheduling and the vision we had. Nothing could not be done. Kim is such a nice and friendly person and she sent me text messages the day before of our flowers to make sure they looked as we wanted, then delivered them straight to our bridal cottage, carefully packaged and with a nice wedding gift. They also set up all the decorations at the venue so we didn't have to worry about anything. All I wanted was sunflowers and something blue and they got really creative and gave me and my bridesmaids beautiful bouquets and all the boys and parents wonderful boutonnieres!

I worked with Joann at Maher's Florist. She was great and so patient with me. I changed the flowers a little within the last month and she helped me pick out new flowers that would match perfectly. She even texted me pictures of the bouquets the morning of the wedding! It was exactly how I pictured them to be! So beautiful! I will use them next time I need flowers for anything! They even let me add 2 roses for chairs during the ceremony for special people last minute, who have passed.

I could not have asked for a better florist. I met JoAnn at a caterers tasting event and she made it clear she would tailor to MY needs. When looking for a florist for a wedding, it was a difficult search being a bride planning from another state. But when I continued to search I came across Maher's right in my hometown. I loved working with Kim at Maher's Florist. When I first met her about 10 months prior to my wedding, I had no idea what I wanted for a bridal bouquet. She worked with me to really figure out what I liked and didn't like and we sent pictures back and forth for that as well as the centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets. Once we settled on a bridal bouquet she suggested what would look best for the boutonnières for the guys and corsages for the moms. Everything turned out perfectly and I was so happy with the final products. Kim even texted me a sneak peek of my bouquet the day before the wedding. I really appreciated that as it assured me that it was the perfect color combo. Kim and her team also set up the centerpieces, floral garland for the ceremony gazebo, and flowers in mason jars in shepherd hooks for the aisle. We paid a little extra to have her come back at the end of the event to pick up the rental items (shepherd hooks) but this was worth it to me as we were leaving for our honeymoon the next day. I would definitely recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a professional florist for their wedding needs.

I can't say enough good things About this florist. I worked with Joann and she was incredible... she listened to every detail that I wanted and made all of my flowers more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! She went out of her way to show me many options that included all the important details I wanted. She did a phenomenal job. She made it so easy for me and she was always on top of everything, I never worried about a thing throughout the whole process. The day of the wedding, Joann was there and everything went smoothly.. thanks for a perfect memorable day!!

I worked with JoAnn at Maher's for my wedding flowers and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the first meeting to the wedding day, she exceeded my expectations. When we first met, she totally understood my vision for my flowers and made great suggestions to really tie it all together, and she knew my venue inside and out which was so helpful. It was so easy to set up and she kept in touch with me and always responded quickly to my email questions. The day before the wedding, she sent me a photo of the bouquets which was a great sneak peek! She even delivered the flowers to the venue early for me and was so easy going and understanding. It was such a great experience and I highly recommend Maher's to any bride looking for beautiful wedding flowers with amazing service!

Joann took such good care of us, I don't even know where to begin. Details for my wedding weren't really on my mind when we went to go talk to this florist. I like flowers, but I have very simple taste. I gave her a general color scheme (coral and aqua), a shape for the bridal bouquet (cascading), and she RAN WITH IT! The flowers she put together were beyond stunning. She threw in a a few deeper colors, which made the whole arrangement really stand out. I still look at the photos and am so happy with the work she did. Not only that, but after we had our last discussion a few months before the wedding, she assured everything would be fine and that she would see me on the big day. No email, no calls, no drama. She also set up all the centerpieces, which were just simple single flowers in some sand, as well as the flowers for the arch where we stood. I cannot say enough, except I highly recommend this florist!!!

Wow, of all the vendors we booked for our wedding, Maher's Florist was one of the ones I was most happy with. The bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely gorgeous. We had a beach themed wedding and they were able to incorporate starfish into both the bouts and bouquets to add a beachy touch and the flowers were PERFECT! Also I didn't review my contract carefully enough and they had down only one flower girl whereas we actually had 2 and each of them was supposed to get a mini bridesmaid bouquet to carry down the aisle. The day of the wedding my MOH picked up the flowers and saw that there was only one flower girl bouquet and while they couldn't make the extra bouquet on the spot, they did provide a basket of petals for our second flower girl to throw for no extra charge. I was so grateful for this gesture to make sure I didn't have to stress about this on my wedding day. Highly recommend Maher's for your wedding day flowers!

Maher's Florist was great, I contacted them a\only a few months before the wedding to make a bridal bouquet, corsages for the mothers, and a cake topper. They were all beautiful!!! While traffic delayed the delivery process this would be the ONLY "complaint" but it still didn't cause any unnecessary problems to the wedding day! The price point was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely beautiful! Joann was wonderful to work with and gave us great ideas within our budget since we didn't know exactly what we wanted when we had our initial meeting. All the flowers were fresh, and we got exactly what we were told we were going to receive. We did not have to worry about anything in regards to the centerpieces, bouquets, or anything dealing with the flowers. Joann and her team took care of it all! I would definitely recommend Maher's florist.

Maher's Florist provided our wedding with the most beautiful flowers I could have asked for! JoAnn worked with me for about a year to get my vision just right. We created a Pinterest board together where we would pin ideas back and forth to each other to make sure that what I was envisioning and what she was envisioning were the same thing. She also met with me several times to review my flower choses and was always very honest as to whether a certain flower was available or would hold up nicely for a daytime, spring wedding. All of the planning paid off because I was beyond thrilled with the flowers the day of our wedding! They were exactly what I had envisioned. She even went above and beyond and added extra special touches to the décor that I wasn't expected! She secretly worked with my mom to have my grandmothers necklace added to my bouquet without me knowing until it was handed to me the morning of my wedding! All of the extra touches that she added showed me that she had been listening to everything I had been saying and I felt like she really knew me by the end of the experience. I couldn't have carried out my vision better!
I would absolutely recommend Maher's Florist for your wedding day!

Maher's Florist did a wonderful job on my wedding day. They created all the arrangements exactly how I wanted and Joann even texted me photos a few days before the wedding! They were very flexible and met with me two times and on time to the wedding.
They did forget a bridesmaid bouquet BUT they had extra flowers and ribbon and were prepared. I appreciated the way they handled their mistake. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Pasadena/Annapolis area as they are close and charge a much lower delivery fee than other florist. Very pleased with their services.

The process of picking flowers was very easy with Joanne. We had an initial meeting which she was very flexible in scheduling with me. I had some ideas about what I was interested in and she told me how we could make that work and showed me examples of flowers that we could use. Finally she sent me a very reasonable quote via email, especially compared to other places I had contacted. I signed the contract with her about 6 months before my wedding and continued to make changes and email her about other ideas I had. She was very responsive and flexible in dealing with my requests. When the flowers were delivered to my hotel room, the couple that brought them were very kind and friendly and made sure that I had everything I was expecting and that everything was to my liking. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and withstood the heat of our outdoor wedding in July. I was very happy with everything.

Maher's did such a great job on the flowers at our wedding on 9/1/12. We use them regularly for flower deliveries around town so we knew somewhat how they operated, but they totally exceeded all expectations. We had so many guests complimenting the flowers on the tables and chairs. The bridesmaids bouquets were lovely and simple and my bouquet was gorgeous! It was everything I wanted, and it looked perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
They were there extra early to set up for my reception and when they were done the room just looked beautiful. The ladies there are so accommodating, quick to answer e-mails, and they have great pricing. They're willing to change anything if you don't like it. We provided them with a sample centerpiece and they ran with it and had great ideas. Thank you so much guys!

I had a wonderful experience with Maher's. Early on, Kim helped me choose the perfect flowers for the colors and look I had in mind. She was very responsive through email and helpful along the way. On the day of the wedding, she delivered the bouquets to my hotel, and waited to make sure they were what I wanted. I thought that gesture was really nice. When I saw the flowers, I teared up because they were so beautiful and exactly how I dreamt they would look. I hope you choose Maher's for your wedding, because they certainly made my wedding dreams come true!

We wish you could see all the flowers that Joanne and her team from Maher's florist put together for our wedding! We chose Gerbera Daisies because of the special meaning to the Bride. From the single stems dangling from the gazebo at the wedding to the fresh gerberas they provided for the wedding cake to the boutonnieres and bouquets words cannot express the beauty they created! The vibrant colors were amazing! The flowers were very fresh and all the bouquets were arranged gorgeously! When we met with Joanne in the beginning, we were precise with pictures, drawings even ribbon that exactly matched the bridesmaids dresses. Joanne and her team exceeded perfection!

Maher's florist did an amazing job! I met with Kim and was instantly impressed! I did not really have any idea what kind of flowers I wanted and Kim really helped me out. She even suggested some flowers that could help me save money. I had a matron of honor that was pregnant and due right before the wedding date and Maher’s florist was very flexible with changes to the order. Kim personally delivered the flowers (on her birthday even!) and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. They even made the ceremony bouquets to double as centerpieces like we asked them to. The flowers were very fresh…so fresh that the bridesmaids’ bouquets were still beautiful when we returned from our honeymoon! I was overly satisfied with the service from Maher’s florist and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We were able to get all the different kinds of flowers we wanted for a great price. Kim was so great in making changes several times to the order before the actual day. Kim at Maher's Florist was great throughout the entire process! We met with her in person and she helped us realize our vision of what flowers would be best in our arrangements. She was very responsive and it was easy to make any changes to our contract, for instance adding a corsage and boutonniere for the grandparents. Her prices were not any more expensive than other florists we looked at and she was definitely worth it. Our wedding arch came out exactly as I had envisioned it!

I met with Joann of Maher's Florist in August 2018, and she created beautiful bouquets for our March 2019 wedding. They brought a vague idea into a concrete vision, worked with our budget in a way that still allowed for a beautiful product, and provided excellent customer service. Their proposal is a beautiful visual, with clear details. The day before my wedding I was texted photos of the bouquets, and the delivery was prompt with a thorough check. I would recommend!

I wasn't going to have floral center pieces until I met with Joanne. She did a friend of mine's wedding and she suggested I meet with her, so I did. I had met with other florists who totally disregarded what I said I wanted and always tried to upsell me with a style I was not looking for. She listened to what I wanted and delivered perfectly, within my budget and the exact style I was looking. I had my own vases from a friend which I was able to use, and it even knocked down the price of my center pieces. She also didn't try to make me order more center pieces than I wanted and understood that I was only doing half of my flowers. She also only asked me one time if I needed bouquets and didn't try to force me into it when I politely declined. I was extremely happy with my service. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because when I would go in to make a payment it was always someone different taking it, and writing my name down on a random piece of paper and I would only receive a confirmation of payments received unless I emailed Joanne first. Otherwise, it was perfect and we received a lot of compliments on our simple, but beautiful center pieces.

I worked with Kim to create our flowers. She took all of my ideas, pictures, and wants into consideration to help create beautiful bouquets for our big day. Only a few small problems occurred like the ribbons were coming unraveled on the bouquets and our fathers' boutineers both broke off their tulips and had to be fixed. But I don't think anyone but the bridal party noticed and everyone loved the colors.

Joann was great from the beginning to end. I send pictures for how I wanted the flowers for the cake. It was beautiful executed. She did a great job for my center pieces. Highly come recommended.

My husband had been ordering flowers for me from Maher's for special events, which led us to use them for our wedding event. Their final products are stunning, and the wedding bouquets and other arrangements were no different! I did find that, at times, they were difficult to reach. There would be, sometimes, weeks between communications with them. However, as the wedding got closer, communication with them was much improved. I would go back because of the wonderful final presentation. I could not have asked for more beautiful flower arrangements

I brought pictures and explained my vision, budget, and expectations. I was told that my vendor Celebrations relies on them when centerpieces turn out disasterous for their clients. She actually is a very reliable florist. I do have champagne tastes and I'm very modern.
No major issues with the flowers on day of. They were fresh and on time. She delivered what I asked her to. However, I was hoping that the centerpeices and the archway would be a tad more "lush" with flowers. My afterthought from looking at my pictures were that I should have asked for Peonies to be incorporated. I like everything big and with a bang! I would have paid another 1,000 to make the flowers more elaborate but too late now. I guess I pictured in my mind a bit more lush, garden like, and elegance. I did get it but on a smaller scale. It was way to windy so the aisle runner that I paid $50 for never got used. Oh well, I guess that happens. I can't control the weather and it's definitely not the fault of the florist.
My bouquet was very pretty. The bridesmaid bouquets, boutineers, and flower girl bouquets were very nice and sweet. Just know that I was imagining, higher quality bigger flowers in the bouquets. I like quality products and I'm soooo glad that I specified that I wanted "real" fabric rather than cheap plastic easter like ribbon for my pew flowers and archway. She used really nice ribbon for my archway decor and my pew/aisle florals.
You get what you pay for and I would say Kim is reliable and professional. Overall, I was satisfied with the outcome of her services. I can't really complain. My mother in law and everyone else thought the centerpieces and everything else was absolutely lovely.
I would recommend Mahers. Looking back, I should have been more specific with my vision. All in all, it was pretty and I had a wonderful wedding.

I worked with Maher's via telephone since I was planning my wedding from far away. They were great with getting back to me and working with me. The corsages and boutineers looked great, and so did our centerpieces. Only thing was the bouquets were pretty and they were the colors I requested, but they weren't THAT great. If I had met with them in person beforehand I'm sure I could have gotten more of what I wanted. But I would recommend them.

Wonderful and beautiful flowers for our wedding! Pictures of our bouquets were sent to us the day prior to the wedding to ensure that it was exactly how we imaged. Very responsive to our ideas and requests.

The flowers looked great and my bridal bouquet lasted a long time. However, they close somewhat early on Saturdays, which is prime wedding day, and on my wedding day at first they claimed they could not find my order. (Turns out they were looking in the "homecoming" section because they didnt realize we were talking about a wedding order). And finally, whichever greenery they used to fill, I was alergic to so my hands broke out...not their fault though as I did not know I was alergic to anything. Overall, the flowers were nice, they were flexible with my changes, but they may want to consider staying open a little later on Saturdays.

Before the wedding, I really enjoyed working with Maher's Florist. I got 10 or so quotes for my flowers, and they came in the lowest, yet were very professional and flexible. They also offered lots of good advice for types of flowers to use based on the time of year and our specific needs. I loved the archway decorations, corsages, and boutonnieres. However, I was very disappointed by my bouquet, which was the most important thing for me. It was very small and the roses were much less open than I would have liked. I think they also replaced the types of orchids I'd wanted without letting me know. My photographer even thought it was a bridesmaid bouquet. Overall, I think they did an excellent job on the secondary flowers, but I wouldn't recommend using them for your bridal bouquet. They would probably do a great job on centerpieces and other decorative flowers.

When going for my consultation, I took a picture of my bouquet with me so I would get exactly what I wanted. When my bouquet and my maid of honor's bouquet arrived on my wedding day, it was exactly what I had envisioned except the flowers were already dying. By the time we got to the church, the flowers were wilting, and almost looked brownish (My wedding was in September so it was not due to the heat). My husbands and best mans boutonni�res were completely dead for the ceremony, they actually had to use Scotch tape to hold the flowers up so they didnt look dead for the ceremony and pictures.
The corsages that I had ordered for my grandmothers and my mother were the smallest corsages I have ever seen. I thought for $25.00 each they would at least be somewhat full, but no they looked like a corsage for a five year old. Iwould have gladly payed more for a fuller corsage but it was never offered to me. I guess I shouldnt assume that a corsage would be standard sized, but if they are multiple sizes offered, then it needs to be conveyed to the brides. It is pretty sad when my readers(which I made their corsages) had much larger and much more beautiful corsages than my mom and grandmoms.
Overall, the staff at Maher's was very friendly and responded to my needs, however the quality of the flowers was very dissapointing and I would not recommend them to other bride's...Sorry :(

Flowers were nice, price was good but communication and response to emails was poor. Made us nervous.

I'm am truly sorry that you were unhappy with Joann's response time. May is a very busy month and due to the long hours spent at our design desks it is sometimes hard to respond as quickly as we normally due. Making sure every detail is exactly as the bride envisioned is our biggest priority. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our design expertise. We go as far as to text photos of the bouquets as they are being created to ensure she is in love with our designs.
