Crew was the best !!!! Handled so many changes and updates through out our set up.

The team was excellent and Hugo and crew were amazing. They truly became part of our team in helping us pull off a few days of events.

Tim Dalfiume and Onesimo did a Great job

We had an Event that needed 2 40x80 tents, sidewalls, 36 tables, 360 chairs, and linens. Tim Dalfiume was Great to work with in handling all the details for the build. Onesimo and his crew did an Oustanding job setting up the massive tent and lights. We had a great Event due to their hard work and help. Thanks Tim, Onesimo and Mahaffey. Appreciate you.

Never Ending Inventory

Mahaffey is great for making you want things that might not have even been on your radar. I rented chairs, chargers, flatware, napkins, and a dance floor through them. The quality and price was great and I highly recommend.

Awesome catalog!

Mahaffey has a large and diverse catalog - we used them for our plates, dishes, and silverware. Our choices really helped tie it all together! We also had them on standby for a tent which we ended up not needing, but it was good to have the back up option in case of rain. They are pros at tents and make them look SO gorgeous with swags of fabric, chandeliers, and florals.

Great vendor

They were very on point with communication. Great customer service. There was a mishap during delivery but they were quick to resolve the issue and came to me with a solution before I even knew there was a problem. Definitely recommend.

Working with Chelsea and Jacklyn was a dream. Even though we just needed chairs for our wedding service and reception, I knew that the Mahaffey team was ready and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The value was great, and having a great team to call on made the experience even better.

The team who did setup and pickup was courteous and responsive, and the white padded chairs added a much needed finishing touch to our wedding!

Joanna and everyone at Mahaffey were incredible to work with! They had such an amazing selection and worked with us to ensure we stayed within our budget. We had an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception at a family property rather than a true wedding venue, and Mahaffey was able to turn it into THE MOST beautiful setting. So many out of town guests were asking how we found the venue because everything was so professionally done! Joanna even did a site visit a few months before the wedding to make sure the set-up we were planning was appropriate. I would highly recommend using Mahaffey for any event!

I have worked with Julie numerous times this year, and each experience has been great. I think even more important than getting everything 100% all of the time, is finding an agreeable solution to any problem that might arise. Julie and her coworkers (Chelsea, Kristy, et al.) have consistently gone out of their way to accommodate, even when it's not their mistake to cover.

I used this company through my venue and they were awesome. I went on a Saturday morning with my venue wedding planner to pick out my linens and chairs and we had the best time. Never once did I feel like I was being rushed to make a selection (even though it was a Saturday and they close early) and Haley was extra helpful in making suggestions that we had not even thought about. My mom and I both left feeling like we were the only customer she had that day. Once I got to my reception and saw all of the beautiful rentals, I knew that my wedding planner had picked the right vendor for all of my rental needs. I will be using Mahaffey for my personal rentals now!

Planning a wedding is a much larger undertaking than most can really understand before they sit down and begin the planning process. As someone is the Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism industry not only did I have an understanding of EXACTLY how much work goes into pulling off these kinds of events and how CRUCIAL an AMAZING rentals/events team is for making the magic of a wedding day come together without the fuss, but I have EXTREMELY high expectations as well.

Angela and Mahaffey Tent were the perfect wedding soldiers! Angela and her sweet team not only listened intently to craft the look that I wanted without busting our budget, but every single person you speak to in the office or warehouse is always professional with that personal touch!

I would like to thank Mahaffey Tent and Party Rentals for their expertise, precision, and customer service. As a wedding planner I cannot tell you how many times they have saved the day with their over the top customer service. They make my job a ton easier by being available even down to the last minute of the event. I was over a wedding at a Memphis location when the bride decided she wanted more bistro tables, that the facility already had, but they didn't have linens. Mahaffey was setting up and offered to drive back to the warehouse, pick up tablecloths and bring them back to the facility. It is things like this that make them my number one rental company, by making every bride's dream come true. Thank you Mahaffey Employees!!!!

We loved using Mahaffey Rentals for a recent high school graduation party that we coordinated. When arriving at the venue, all table and chairs were in excellent working condition and everything was great! All table linens were exactly what we had wanted and expected for this party. After the party was over, the tables were picked up on time and the staff was very easy to work with! We really couldn't ask for a better event rental company to work with. As a wedding venue, I have been using Mahaffey for my rental needs for over two years. They never fail to exceed my expectations! I have had event several event "crises" and had to call at the last minute and Carol, Angela and Taylor are always accommodating and helpful. Mark & his crew with Mahaffey Tent Company are great to work with - professional, friendly, efficient. Our venue is for outdoor weddings, so we frequently have tents brought in. The bride's wedding coordinator brought in Mahaffey for their tent, flooring and stairs. The quality was top-notch. They did everything - didn't require anything from us except welcome input on where to put the catering tent/how to make it work for us - and made it so beautiful and natural that it blended perfectly with the setting. Would definitely work with them again and recommend them to anyone.

Event rentals are expensive anywhere. We could not be happier with choosing mahaffey. We chose a large white framed tent with string lighting, chairs and tables. Jackie was always extremely personal, was easily in contact through text and constantly worked with us when we wanted to change a few things (reception seating arrangements)
She also assisted with the planning process/ceremony and reception layout. It was as if I had a close friend helping me.
Thank you Jackie for all of your help over the past few months!!

Great party rentals. I ordered the 20 by 60 tent with bandstand dance floor and tables/chairs for my wedding.
Everything arrived when promised. The installation was great and the tent quality was excellent.
My only grip was with the bandstand. They charge extra for a step to get on the bandstand and for carpeting for the top of the bandstand. If the wood had been in better shape, the carpeting wouldn't have been necessary. I think they charge too much for the bandstand overall. My suggestion is to build your own bandstand, or use a deck for your musicians. Otherwise very satisfied.

Mahaffey had great prices and tons of options to make our reception venue pop! They were very accommodating and allowed us to make changes up to the last minute. I would recommend using them for any wedding of event.

Mahaffey and their team are great! They have a very nice showroom, plenty of helpful salespeople on hand, and they have a wide selection of rentals available (tents, tables and chairs, linens, dishes, furniture, etc.). They had reasonable pricing and they were pretty flexible with my venue's time frame for set-up and pick-up. Their rentals were in good condition--wear-and-tear was not very noticeable (other companies in the city didn't seem to take care of their products as well and it showed)--and they got everything set up the way we wanted. Responses to my calls and emails were always quick and friendly. It's important to make sure you know up front how fees work for set up (e.g. there's a fee to have them set up chairs) and after-hours pick ups (e.g. Saturday night vs. Monday daytime), but these are are reasonable and understandable. Overall, they're professional, friendly, and have great products and I would certainly work with them again in the future.

Thanks to Jason Bernard for working with my husband and I in renting a tent plus several additional items including tables, chairs, a dance floor and more for our outdoor wedding at our family lake house. A special thanks to the crew that set everything up while there was a down pour of rain - Oscar and his guys (plus Susan). Everything looked beautiful and the sun showed up just in time and was in full affect on the day of our wedding. The 40x60 tent was a perfect size for our family and friends of 130, plus a dance floor and DJ table. Several neighbors and guest inquired about who provided the tent services, and we were glad to note that it was Mahaffey Tent and Event Rentals. Thanks again.

They were a little pricey but had everything we needed. They weren't memorable as far as customer service but we also did not have any problems. Everything that we ordered was at our wedding day and what we expected it to be. The quality of the products was great.

We were excited to use Mahaffey rentals after a bad experience with their top competitor, and had requested tables and chairs to use in our venue. The chairs they delivered, for the most part, were appealing, but they warned us that some of the chairs were broken and delivered 30 excess chairs to compensate. This led us to having to try every chair to ensure its stability, and we had some thirty extra chairs that couldn't be used at the event stacked in a corner.

The tables looked as through they were on their last leg, and had to be cleaned before putting any linens on top, given that they were very dirty. Additionally, a number varied widely in height, which posed a problem for the style of table arrangement. We called and complained, and, to their credit, the manager was pleasant and offered either delivery of alternative tables OR refund no less than a stated amount. We were short on time and opted for the refund. After the wedding, however, we were told that we would not be receiving the full refund, being that we "had not agreed on that amount." We had to call multiple times and complain emphatically to get our agreed upon refund.

All in all, however, Kristy, our consultant, was a phenomenal help in the preparation and planning. If we had not had issues with the tables and the refund, we would have given five stars across the board.

We tried, but didn't appreciate the diva attitude

I contacted to plan out an outdoor wedding on the family's land. Initial consultation by phone was brief and the next step was for the representative to drive out and see the land. The bride and mom were running late but the family was at the house. While in transit three separate individuals texted (the Rep's requested means of communication) that the bride was running 15 minutes late but the rep pulled in to long driveway, did not exit the car (though the wide open fields were 50% observable) and the grooms sister was waiting for him to get out to ensure he was the right person. Despite the texts and a phone call, the rep left after 4 minutes. When the bride and mom arrived, he said, "I'll turn around" but didn't. A week later we decided to find a venue run by people who want to do business together.

Terrible. I was told they were the cheapest in town, however they do not have their stuff together over there at all. I would gladly pay a premium to not have to deal with the headache we had using Mahaffey. Multiple revised quotes because of mistakes or them not paying attention to what we wanted, unable to provide specific information when requested, awful job of putting up tent (things hanging down, chandeliers not put up properly, poles exposed), and very poor communication. I would never use this company again.

Very disappointed with this vendor. I contacted them through their online forum and never heard back from them so I decided I would just give them a call. The gentleman who answered the phone was a little rude and not helpful. I was looking for more information and wanted to ask some questions about the equipment they have and can provide since nothing is listed online and the few pictures they provide of tents are too small to really see. He answered none of my questions and was not polite or helpful in the least. I only had a few simple questions so I could access if this vendor would be a possibility for what I needed, but the customer service was so poor that I decided it would just be easier to mark this vendor off the list to choose from and move on to the others that provide the same services. I was very surprised since they have a decent review rating though it appears someone else who wrote a review had a similar experience. Perhaps it depends on who answers the phone.

So rude on the phone. Was trying to speak with the owner and she said they don't have an OWNER?! Are you kidding me! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. How rude. She didn't give me the time of day! Can you please have someone contact me because this is absolutely astonishing! People who answer the phone are supposed to be kind and she was the devil woman!
