Katie and Raiden were beyond anything I could have hoped for. From the beginning, they were incredibly responsive (even when I had bride-brain and forgot to email back). They were also so flexible with our music choices. Some of our songs were popular (Wildest Dreams) but we also had a few obscure requests and they had no problem playing them for us! I cannot recommend this vendor enough. On top of that, they coordinated with my planner for the timeline, and they were professional and on time. Katie & Raiden made our daughter's wedding ceremony a 10+. Their sound was perfect as they played each chosen song so elegantly. I highly recommend Magnolia Strings and will definitely consider adding them to any type of function we have in the future. Many of our wedding guests commented how their violin and cello performance was so beautiful. -

Highly skilled and professional musicians who will make your dreams come true!
We hired Magnolia Strings to play for our wedding ceremony and they played my requests, which included the interlude to Howl’s Moving Castle (Studio Ghibli), Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls and All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera. Their versatility is astounding! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to give a romantic feel to their music in their wedding ceremony! -

We were so thankful that we decided to book Raiden and his team to be our music for our wedding! They were incredibly professional and accommodating. We asked for a few specific songs to be arranged and they did it happily. We also needed a bit of light MC work and Raiden was happy to do this for us. Listening to the strings play our first dance was one of the best moments of our wedding. They brought me to tears so many times, in a good way! I can’t have imagined booking a DJ instead, Magnolia Strings made our wedding feel and sound perfect!Magnolia Strings's reply:

Talented musicians
Magnolia Strings played for our recent wedding in December 2021. They played beautifully, even including two special request pieces on very short notice. We were very happy with their professionalism and the quality of their playing. Communication was clear and responses were prompt. Having them play at our wedding made it that much more special and memorable. We would highly recommend Magnolia Strings!Magnolia Strings's reply:

At frist didn't decide on live ceremony music i was initially just gonna go with the dj. I'm so happy I went with live music route they made our ceremony so romantic it was so beautiful. I highly recommend going with magnolia strings not only they sound amazing but also so nice and always there to answer any questions.Magnolia Strings's reply:

I am SO thrilled with hiring Magnolia Strings for my wedding. Raiden and his wife were a delight to work with. They were extremely flexible, accommodating, and talented. They wrote and learned compositions for some special request pop songs (for which orchestral music didn't exist, as far as I'm aware). I was the crazy bride that wanted to walk down the aisle to a cello/viola version of a Yeah Yeah Yeahs song, and they made it happen, and it was truly one of the best moments of my life!! During the planning process, they were patient and flexible. They even agreed to play the ceremony in a dry wash outdoors with no electricity, which I had some other strings players turn me down, saying it wasn't possible/ideal. If you're thinking about hiring them, DO IT! I splurged on this one item for my wedding day, and I do not regret it one bit. Everything was truly perfect. Magnolia Strings Duo
Magnolia strings duo were absolutley brilliant. I would like to Thank them for playing at the wedding ceremony. When I first reached out to them they reaponded and answered all of my questions and made this process easy for the big day. They were exceptional and very proffessional, they show up looking amazing and on time. Ourselves and our guests loved the performance and it made the ceremony really magical they were incredible. i would recommend Magnolia strings to anyone. -

Beautiful sound
Showed up on time. Presentable. Very easy to work with and they sounded beautiful. They learned specific songs that we wanted played for our ceremony at no extra cost. Only note to add was that they did stop playing the prelude music right at 30 minutes, but we were running a few minutes behind, so there was a slight lull in music before the processional music started. It was a little odd and probably a good idea to communicate expectations to keep playing if there's a delay (which happens often at weddings!). I would have happy been charged a fee and avoided the lull. But didn't even think about this possibility ahead of time, so no one's fault really. They provided services as were laid out in our contract. -
