We truly can't say enough about Beau and Cheau. They were hands down one of the best decisions we made for our Wedding. The dance floor was never not packed, from the first song to the last. They did such an incredible job reading the room and keeping the energy high all night long. Beau incorporated Indian and Armenian music into the playlists, which meant so much to us and our families. On top of being being incredibly talented, they're truly genuinely amazing people who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! -

DJ Gumbeaux was PHENOMENAL. We had such a wonderful experience. He was so personable, taking us through the rundown of what to expect on our wedding day - guiding us where we needed it - taking the time to get to know us so he could make awesome recommendations and bring our vision for music together. We had an intimate wedding (~40) people and the music was always bumping with the family dancing the night away which was exactly what we wanted. He kept the party going infusing all of the musical tastes we threw his way with generational, kpop, country, group dancing you name it. He didn't just kill it during the reception, he MC'd and handled all the cueing for the live strings trio ceremony music, guided guests with instructions on timeline, and handled kicked off the fun during dinner. His fun presence and personality were the vibe we wanted for our wedding and he DELIVERED! -

Beaux was, without a doubt, the absolute best DJ we could have had for our special day! From the very first consultation, he was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely excited about making our reception a memorable party.
He truly understood our vision and taste in music, seamlessly blending our requested songs with tracks that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The energy he brought was infectious, and he had an great ability to read the room, knowing exactly what to play to keep the celebration going strong.
Not only did he handle all the announcements and transitions flawlessly, but he also created an atmosphere that was pure magic. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had and how it was "the best wedding ever!" If you want a DJ who will not only meet but exceed your expectations and throw a heck of a party, we can't recommend Beaux highly enough! -

Fantastic DJ! We booked Magnolia Rhapsody for our Indian Fusion wedding for 250 people and they did a great job. While their DJ-ing during the 4 dancing portions of the wedding were great, the thing that made them an incredible vendor was DJ Gumbeaux's customer service. From the very first meeting we had with him, he provide us with so much information and tips that we incorporated into our wedding. It immediately felt like he was invested in getting to know us and making sure he had enough info to execute on the day. We had several other DJ informational interviews and DJ Gumbeaux blew them out of the water, and every single subsequent meeting we had with him was just as good. To cap it off, his presence on the day of the wedding was incredible. Who knew you could have a surprisingly real conversation with your DJ while getting mic'd for your ceremony? His DJ vibe is bumping, but man oh man does he have a heart of gold. I'm happy to have had him in a couple of my wedding photos so we can look back fondly at his impact and presence at our wedding. -

THE BEST WEDDING DJ EVER! We were beyond lucky to meet Beaux at a Landmark Event and instantly vibed with the music he was putting out, my husband went up to chat with him and fell in love with his fun and upbeat personality. It was awesome to meet his wife Cho who was an excellent communicator and nothing but professional all the way through the process. We had several meetings with them leading up to our wedding to ensure the playlist and all music needs were on point. It has been a few weeks since our wedding and we have gotten non-stop compliments about how incredible our dance floor was all thanks to Beaux and his crew! Music is super important to us as a couple and Magnolia Rhapsody knocked it out of the park, we HIGHLY recommend this company! Cannot sing their praise enough! Thank you guys so much for helping us make our wedding and dance floor vision come to life! -

Magnolia Rhapsody was such a gem! Of all the vendors we hired for our special day, DJ Gumbeaux was a serious hit! Coordination and planning was all seamless and having several meetings, allowed us to create the perfect wedding vibe. Our wedding was a small group of 12 and I was worried that my small group wouldn’t “party” or be as hype as a full size wedding. DJ Gumbeaux created the greatest mix of all our favorite songs and seriously electrified the night. Me and all my guests were on our feet all night ! I had so many compliments on our DJ and I 100% recommend Magnolia Rhapsody to any other couples that are looking for an unforgettable night! -

If you want someone with amazing energy then hire Beaux! From my first meeting I knew he was the DJ for us. He checked in throughout the process, listened to us, and was insanely helpful when we weren't entirely sure on something. I didn't have a single doubt and he absolutely delivered on our wedding day! The whole day went smoothly and he kept us on our timeline. I would hire again and recommend to everyone! -

Hiring Magnolia Rhapsody was one of the best decision we made while planning our wedding! I cannot express in words how great working with DJ Gumbeaux was! He is so talented and you can tell how much he loves his job and just music. He was one of our favorite vendors to work and his knowledge for the overall flow of wedding ceremonies and receptions is so impressive. He helped us so much with our timeline, song recommendations, and gave us such great wedding tips. We met multiple times on Zoom prior to our wedding on 10/22/22. And every meeting was so informative and it was just comforting knowing that our wedding was in such great hands. One of the big things for our wedding we wanted was great music that kept guests on the dance floor and Beaux delivered. I cannot even tell you how many of our guests commented on Beaux and how awesome he was was! Our guests loved his music selections and the dancing never slowed down! We cannot recommend Magnolia Rhapsody and DJ Gumbeaux enough! Seriously they are the BEST!! -

An amazing experience! I’m not sure where to start, so let me just say, there’s so much about the wedding experience that feels cliché or like you’re following a standard template. Dresses, colors, chicken or steak, cake, first dance, yada yada yada.
That’s NOT the case when it comes to Beaux as your DJ. Beyond being a charming an enthusiastic guy, you can tell right off that bat how much Beaux eats, sleeps, and breaths all things music. His knowledge of music is astounding, and he’s able to use it to curate a personal musical experience for your event. Beaux’s attention to detail is evident in your pre-wedding planning, taking care to understand the type of vibe you’re going for, the type of music that’s going to end up being the musical wallpaper for your cocktail hour, your dinner, and finally the type of music you and your guests are going to groove and embarrass yourself on the dancefloor to. Based on a few meetings and some playlists we shared, Beaux created exactly the sonic experience that we wanted for our wedding.
Beyond the wedding experience, Beaux was a self-sufficient and low maintenance vendor, working with our day of planner and other vendors to arrive, get setup, and be efficient all the day around.
We can’t recommend Beaux enough, 11 out of 10!!! -

Words cannot express how fantastic Beaux and Cho were. I would 1000x hire them again over anyone else. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and Beaux seamlessly curated the evening's playlist. Working with Beaux is like working with a world-class DJ. He was able to edit and cut multiple important songs so that they seamlessly lined up with mother/son, first, ceremony, and first entrance dances.
My husband and I met with so many DJ's, and while many of them seemed sufficient, Beaux just blew the freaking roof off. Beaux literally spent 8+ hours, pre-wedding, working in-person to develop our playlist and make sure it was individualized. On TOP of that, he was able to mix my husband's love for show tunes with my love of techno.
On top of his phenomenal DJ skills, Beaux is a master of being an Emcee. He truly understands the flow of a wedding and how to facilitate a ceremony & reception. Beaux is originally from New Orleans, which is where the majority of my family is from. He knows how a NoLa wedding is thrown, and he certainly knows how to turn it like a NoLa wedding and get the crowd LIT.
Beaux KILLED it. He and Cho are worth every penny and then some. When I think about the vibe Beaux facilitated, it honestly makes me cry. He cared so much for me and my husband. He gave 1000% of himself to make our wedding as special as possible. Beaux, Ian and I thank you so much. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without you. You are truly a honest, relatable, and fantastic individual. I cannot wait for others to have the privilege of meeting you.

Gumbeaux is the best!! He is SO organized and he will make you feel beyond prepared for your wedding day. You get a chance to have multiple check in calls before your wedding so he can ensure he understands your vision for the whole day. He is amazing at coordinating with the other vendors of your party so everyone is in the loop of the day of schedule so there is no confusion. His DJ skills are also ON POINT! He is great at mixing and reading the vibe in the room so he is always playing the right thing. Trust me, it WILL be worth is to spend the extra money on his services. He goes above and beyond. If I ever had an other event where I needed a DJ, I would certainly use him.

Emily Sent on 07/11/2016You can just feel the passion for music in everything that DJ Gumbeaux and his wife Cho do! From our very first meeting while we were still selecting a DJ, Beaux was extremely thorough in helping us think through our timeline and what music to have at each point. He spent almost 2 hours with us just at that first meeting!
He can understand your musical taste immediately, and has such a wide breadth of knowledge to get you the exact songs you need. Need songs mixed? Beaux can do that too! Mikes for the ceremony? Beaux had the set-up to make sure the guests in the back can hear you.
We heard MULTIPLE people say he was the best wedding DJ they had heard, and he kept the dance floor rocking from open to close -- complete with a conga line! Beaux was also a great emcee, came up with special blurbs to introduce our tea ceremony, and kept the night rolling along schedule.
I couldn't have asked for a better reception and party! Beaux and Cho are the best! -

Booking Magnolia Rhapsody was by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. One of the most important aspects of our wedding was to have the dance party of the year and man did Beaux and the team deliver! Our guests could not leave the dance floor and had such a wonderful time. More than just a DJ, Beaux’s attention to detail and expertise was absolutely essential to the success of our wedding. During our planning process Beaux met with us several times to go through our timeline and flow of the ceremony/reception. He provided song suggestions when we needed them and even custom mixed a track for one of our dances. We could relax stress free during the day of because we knew the team would keep everything running smoothly and on track! Highly highly recommend Magnolia Rhapsody to bring your wedding/event to life! -

My husband and I waffled around for months about whether we wanted to just plug and play our own playlist or hire a DJ, and I can absolutely say we made the right choice to going with a DJ, specifically Beaux (and his lovely, ever helpful assistant/wife Cho).
I am very fussy and particular about music and Beaux was more than happy to talk about must plays and do not plays, and he kept our dance floor going longer than I think our guests could keep dancing :)
And his MCing! Wow, we are so happy with how he kept the energy going on our big day. We are so glad we chose Beaux and Cho for our DJ, it was one of many great choices that helped us pull off our dream wedding. -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. From the very beginning, he was incredibly organized and professional, with multiple planning meetings that kept us on track and completely stress-free. He even created a custom mix of our wedding song, which was such a special touch and meant a lot to us.
Beyond his professionalism, he was genuinely a pleasure to work with — great energy, easy to talk to, and someone we truly enjoyed spending time with throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and effortlessly thanks to him. He kept the entire event organized and flowing perfectly.
The dance party was an absolute highlight. We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun and energetic it was — people are still talking about it. If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, prepared, personable, and makes your wedding day feel easy and unforgettable, we cannot recommend him enough. -

A nightmare from the ceremony to the dance floor. They played every song we specifically asked them not to. They kicked out a power cable during my wife’s walk down the aisle. They played none of the music we sent them in their work sheet. The best part about them was all the jokes made at their expense during the wedding and after party. They didn’t pay attention to almost anything we spoke about prior to our day. A beautiful day where all vendors shined, these guys were unprofessional and terrible partners. You can do better. -

We were going back and forth on if we should leave this review or not – we certainly don’t wish poorly on anyone – but in the end, we thought it was important for other couples to know our experience.
Magnolia Rhapsody completely ghosted us and we are still so bothered by this. We had a GREAT initial video call with them, they sent over a contract, we replied with a couple questions, and then… nothing. They just completely stopped responding out of nowhere. We were patient, we wrote again a few other times, we even apologized (even though we did nothing wrong). And they never ever wrote back.
I had seen other couples leave similar reviews for Magnolia Rhapsody previously (they mysteriously disappear…), but it seems like we aren’t the only people this company has ghosted.
Planning a wedding is SO stressful, especially when it comes to finding a DJ since they can have such an impact on your wedding. For Magnolia Rhapsody to waste our time was completely unprofessional and so frustrating. We had to start the entire DJ interview process over, which takes time and energy, two things you don’t have unlimited amounts of when planning a wedding! We do not recommend Magnolia Rhapsody and we hope other couples save themselves time and avoid the negative and stressful experience we went through.
