  DJ Beaux brings the party!

  DJ Beaux is a man of many talents! When planning our wedding, Magnolia Rhapsody came highly recommended by our venue, and after the initial phone call with him and his team, we could really understand why. The energy that he brings to the table is infectious, and when you book Magnolia Rhapsody for your event, you get the whole package: experience, energy, and peace of mind! Prior to the day-of, we discussed with DJ Beaux what kind of a vibe we wanted for the wedding, what songs were absolutely necessary, and all the little details that you might not think about! On the morning of the wedding, DJ Beaux brought such a calming energy to the venue; he worked seamlessly with the other vendors and reassured us that we were in great hands. Throughout the ceremony, he kept things moving smoothly, and when it came time for dancing, DJ Beaux really delivered the party of a lifetime. Thank you again to Magnolia Rhapsody for providing the soundtrack to one of the biggest days of our lives!

  A wedding planner's 1st choice!

  I cannot say enough about how amazing it was working with Beaux for our wedding!
  As a wedding planner, I've had the pleasure of working with the Magnolia Rhapsody team many times over the years, so they were the obvious first choice when it came time to plan my own wedding. Beaux was able to connect with my more introverted then-fiance and walk him through the how-and-why of the flow of the day, asked thoughtful questions to get to know us & the overall vibe we wanted for the wedding, not just what kind of music we liked, making the planning process effortless with his excitement for us as we nailed down the details. On the day-of he had everyone up on the dance floor-- from the younger cousins to my elderly uncle & his walker! 2 months later and I'm still getting messages from our extended family about how much fun they had and how great DJ Gumbeaux was, and we couldn't agree more!

  Top-notch Professionals

  Called Magnolia Rhapsody after they were recommended by our caterer and spoke with DJ Gumbeaux. Wow, what a nice guy! He said they were fully booked on our wedding date, but he took the time to ask me questions about our vision: what kind of music did we like? Where was the venue/what was the venue like? What kind of vibe were we going for? And once he had an idea of who we were as a couple, he recommended another DJ company that we'd click with. DJ Gumbeaux is a DJ-wedding matchmaking genius and absolutely nailed it! Although I heard amazing things about Magnolia Rhapsody and was at first so bummed that they were unavailable, they still provided excellent service and led us to a DJ that provided an amazing experience. And he followed up to see how our wedding went! That's top-tier customer service!

  Stellar DJ, better people

  I cannot say enough to praise and thank the wonderful people at Magnolia Rhapsody. The folks at our venue, Georgetown Ballroom, recommended them highly, and all it took was one phone call with Beauregard (DJ Gumbeaux) to understand why. Gumbeaux and his wife, Cho, are an absolute power couple in this industry. They were both responsive to emails and made it so easy to share what music we did (and didn’t!) want at the wedding. On the night of the wedding, Beaux and his assistant were wonderful, bringing lights and outdoor speakers that really elevated our small, intimate wedding to a wonderful party.
  
  And if Beaux being an amazing DJ wasn’t enough, he’s also just the nicest, most genuine guy. The morning of the wedding, my husband woke up very sick. I arrived at the venue in tears, not completely sure how the evening was going to go, and Gumbeaux helped calm me down and bring me back to earth. Everything worked out in the end, thank goodness. My husband was properly mic’d and all the music cues were perfect, even on a more chaotic timeline than we expected. We’re so grateful to everything the team did to take care of us on our special day.

  The best in the business !

  Magnolia Rhapsody was such a gem! Of all the vendors we hired for our special day, DJ Gumbeaux was a serious hit! Coordination and planning was all seamless and having several meetings, allowed us to create the perfect wedding vibe. Our wedding was a small group of 12 and I was worried that my small group wouldn’t “party” or be as hype as a full size wedding. DJ Gumbeaux created the greatest mix of all our favorite songs and seriously electrified the night. Me and all my guests were on our feet all night ! I had so many compliments on our DJ and I 100% recommend Magnolia Rhapsody to any other couples that are looking for an unforgettable night!

  The Best! Amazing Energy

  If you want someone with amazing energy then hire Beaux! From my first meeting I knew he was the DJ for us. He checked in throughout the process, listened to us, and was insanely helpful when we weren't entirely sure on something. I didn't have a single doubt and he absolutely delivered on our wedding day! The whole day went smoothly and he kept us on our timeline. I would hire again and recommend to everyone!

  DJ Gumbeaux is the best! Everyone at our wedding mentioned how great he was!

  Hiring Magnolia Rhapsody was one of the best decision we made while planning our wedding! I cannot express in words how great working with DJ Gumbeaux was! He is so talented and you can tell how much he loves his job and just music. He was one of our favorite vendors to work and his knowledge for the overall flow of wedding ceremonies and receptions is so impressive. He helped us so much with our timeline, song recommendations, and gave us such great wedding tips. We met multiple times on Zoom prior to our wedding on 10/22/22. And every meeting was so informative and it was just comforting knowing that our wedding was in such great hands. One of the big things for our wedding we wanted was great music that kept guests on the dance floor and Beaux delivered. I cannot even tell you how many of our guests commented on Beaux and how awesome he was was! Our guests loved his music selections and the dancing never slowed down! We cannot recommend Magnolia Rhapsody and DJ Gumbeaux enough! Seriously they are the BEST!!

  Hire Beaux and don't think twice!!!

  An amazing experience! I’m not sure where to start, so let me just say, there’s so much about the wedding experience that feels cliché or like you’re following a standard template. Dresses, colors, chicken or steak, cake, first dance, yada yada yada.
  
  That’s NOT the case when it comes to Beaux as your DJ. Beyond being a charming an enthusiastic guy, you can tell right off that bat how much Beaux eats, sleeps, and breaths all things music. His knowledge of music is astounding, and he’s able to use it to curate a personal musical experience for your event. Beaux’s attention to detail is evident in your pre-wedding planning, taking care to understand the type of vibe you’re going for, the type of music that’s going to end up being the musical wallpaper for your cocktail hour, your dinner, and finally the type of music you and your guests are going to groove and embarrass yourself on the dancefloor to. Based on a few meetings and some playlists we shared, Beaux created exactly the sonic experience that we wanted for our wedding.
  
  Beyond the wedding experience, Beaux was a self-sufficient and low maintenance vendor, working with our day of planner and other vendors to arrive, get setup, and be efficient all the day around.
  
  We can’t recommend Beaux enough, 11 out of 10!!!

  The literal best DJ for your wedding.

  Words cannot express how fantastic Beaux and Cho were. I would 1000x hire them again over anyone else. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and Beaux seamlessly curated the evening's playlist. Working with Beaux is like working with a world-class DJ. He was able to edit and cut multiple important songs so that they seamlessly lined up with mother/son, first, ceremony, and first entrance dances.
  
  My husband and I met with so many DJ's, and while many of them seemed sufficient, Beaux just blew the freaking roof off. Beaux literally spent 8+ hours, pre-wedding, working in-person to develop our playlist and make sure it was individualized. On TOP of that, he was able to mix my husband's love for show tunes with my love of techno.
  
  On top of his phenomenal DJ skills, Beaux is a master of being an Emcee. He truly understands the flow of a wedding and how to facilitate a ceremony & reception. Beaux is originally from New Orleans, which is where the majority of my family is from. He knows how a NoLa wedding is thrown, and he certainly knows how to turn it like a NoLa wedding and get the crowd LIT.
  
  Beaux KILLED it. He and Cho are worth every penny and then some. When I think about the vibe Beaux facilitated, it honestly makes me cry. He cared so much for me and my husband. He gave 1000% of himself to make our wedding as special as possible. Beaux, Ian and I thank you so much. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without you. You are truly a honest, relatable, and fantastic individual. I cannot wait for others to have the privilege of meeting you.

  Best wedding dance party - guests danced until they dropped

  The entire Magnolia Rhapsody team took such good care of us. From our pandemic-driven postponement to changing COVID requirements, DJ Beaux helped us navigate contingency plans and alternate scenarios without making us feel like we had to compromise on throwing the reception dance party of our dreams.
  
  During our initial meeting with DJ Beaux, we expected to meet with him for 30-45 minutes tops. Fast forward to an hour plus later (!!!) we were enjoying ourselves so much that we were late to our dinner plans. This was the first of many positive interactions and experiences with DJ Beaux over our three years working together.
  
  You will be hard pressed to find a more detailed-oriented, hilarious, and talented DJ for your big day. Our guests danced until they dropped, there wasn’t a single dull moment, and we continue to receive countless compliments about our raging dance floor.

  The entire Magnolia Rhapsody team took such good care of us.   Book Them!

  We hired Magnolia Rhapsody for our wedding on 9/13/20… which got postponed to 9/12/21 due to Covid. So, we spent about 2 years with Beaux and Cho. Our experience with them was top notch. They were always quick to respond, and super organized. Whenever we would meet with Beaux, he would ask us about things that we hadn’t even thought about, and he always got us super excited for the wedding. Definitely a great hype man during the planning process and the wedding itself! Low key wish we could be friends in real life lol, they’re such great people! Beaux has a quality about him that just makes him feel like family, and he went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure we were having a good time. He even checked up on us a few times to make sure we had eaten and were doing okay. The entire planning process and day of were absolutely seamless.
  
  We are a little … extra about our music lol. We sent him a playlist with 34 hours worth of music on it! Hahaha but somehow he managed to pick out all the ones we really wanted and it was lit! We didn’t get to hear all the cocktail hour music since we were out taking photos and everything, but we know it was great cuz we got sooo many compliments from our guests!

  Amazing wedding DJ!!

  Magnolia Rhapsody did an AMAZING job at our wedding!! I heard about them from attending another friend’s wedding (which was awesome!) From the very first meeting, Beaux was focused on getting to know us to make our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted. Throughout the whole process, they answered our every question, eased a whole lot of stress by handling not only the music but coordinating timelines with our officiant and photographers, and threw one rockin party on the dance floor! I would 100% hire them again in a heartbeat!

  Gumbeaux is the best!! He is SO organized and he will make you feel beyond prepared for your wedding day. You get a chance to have multiple check in calls before your wedding so he can ensure he understands your vision for the whole day. He is amazing at coordinating with the other vendors of your party so everyone is in the loop of the day of schedule so there is no confusion. His DJ skills are also ON POINT! He is great at mixing and reading the vibe in the room so he is always playing the right thing. Trust me, it WILL be worth is to spend the extra money on his services. He goes above and beyond. If I ever had an other event where I needed a DJ, I would certainly use him.

  This team is incredible! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and felt very lucky to have Magnolia Rhapsody's support. They were flexible, understanding and had their finger on the pulse of the ever-changing event regulations. They were so detail-oriented and were able to get everything organized for us and pivot quickly or fill in the blanks when needed. I think our guests would have danced all night if allowed.   Hire Magnolia Rhapsody today! Run, don't walk to the computer or phone!

  Magnolia Rhapsody was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Ginger Bee Events & Planning. After our initial meeting with Beaux from MR, we did not consider anyone else to handle the music for our big day. Beaux asked the right questions to get us thinking about what music we wanted (and didn't want), not only for dancing at the reception, but for those special moments (e.g., processional, recessional, cocktail hour, first dance, etc.). Beaux was so reassuring, helpful, and accommodating in creating the right experience for our guests.
  
  At Beaux' suggestion, I created several Spotify playlists to cover the various parts of the wedding. Because we booked Magnolia Rhapsody so far in advance (approximately 10 months before the wedding date), this did not feel like an unsurmountable chore. In fact, it was fairly enjoyable, as I was able to jog my memory with songs from my past.
  
  I had fairly strong opinions about the genres of music I wanted to hear throughout our wedding day. We had a pre-ceremony cocktail reception where Motown was featured, and a post-ceremony/pre-reception mini-cocktail hour where more chill lovey dovey 70s and 80s music played. Beaux took my expansive playlists and pared them down; his selections were spot on. He finessed my dance playlist which highlighted 80s pop music and contemporary divas, to include those songs that would work to help get people on the dance floor.
  
  Beaux did not push us to include a particular type of music or song; he accommodated all of our requests for particular arrangements. On our wedding day, Beaux went out of his way to check-in with us and make sure we were relaxed, calm, and happy with how are day was going. It was such a comfort and unexpected surprise to feel that support from our DJ.   Best D J ever!

  We hired DJ Beau for our recent September wedding and he was awesome! Music kept people dancing all night and he really listened to our requests as well as keeping all ages happy and having fun!! Couldn’t have asked for more! Great MC too.

  Don't hesitate - book DJ Beaux TODAY!

  Words cannot express how AMAZING DJ Beaux is! My husband and I hired him for our wedding a few weeks ago and it was one of the best decisions we made as part of the wedding planning process. Having great music was a top priority for us and we wanted to work with a DJ that was as passionate about music as we are. After our first conversation with DJ Beaux it was clear that we had found our guy! We hired him to cover both our ceremony and reception. Even though the ceremony was complicated with lots of musical cues, DJ Beaux went above and beyond to study the different aspects of the ceremony so that he was prepared. During the evening, we asked DJ Beaux to try and mix rap/hip hop with Bollywood music to get everyone up and dancing. What DJ Beaux ended up playing exceeded both of our expectations. The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests told us afterwards how fantastic the music was throughout the evening!
  You meet a ton of people/vendors as you plan a wedding and unfortunately, a lot of the interactions can feel very impersonal. From our first conversation with DJ Beaux it was like we were talking with a friend. He really goes above and beyond for his clients and is always available to help! As we were prepping for the wedding, he let us know that we might want to extend our mother & son/father & daughter/first dances so that the photographer/videographer had enough time to take their shots. Unfortunately, this meant that we had to rethink where we started/ended each of the songs. DJ Beaux immediately offered to help cut each song and sent us back the edited versions! I would choose DJ Beaux again in a heartbeat and hopefully will have the chance to work with him again in the future! If you are looking for a wedding DJ look no further – DJ Beaux is the best!

  Beaux and Cho were absolutely awesome!!! Several people came up to me at our wedding and told us how awesome our DJ was. One of our bridesmaids even tried to see if he was available for their wedding! Working with them was fun, they are both super great and really responsive. They even helped out our Wedding planner when our caterer was a total disaster. They played all the hits and more and we sent them a spotify playlist before the wedding to show them what kind of music we liked, and they totally nailed it. would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

  For those who need more than a word, working with Beaux and Cho was a absolute pleasure. They came recommended to us by our venue. Even before we hired Beaux, he was fully engaged, and digging our not normal wedding plans.
  He listened to our style ideas, and made great suggestions along the way. Of course we hired him.
  
  Beaux jived on our theme Moulin Rouge, and to all the geeky things in between.
  
  He was perfectly meticulous going over our day of schedule; then helped with our last rehearsal day of with the bridal party and cabaret group, so we had our timing down. Beaux MC'ed from the Ceremony all the way till the last beat dropped; he helped us keep on schedule and supported all our music queues that we had planned through the night, and got along great with all of our other wedding crew/vendors.
  
  Speaking of music he is a master at live mixing (our guest where in awe), and kept us all on the dance floor (which was worth the sore legs the next day). If I ever have another party in Seattle he will be my first choice with out hesitation.

  Seriously so thankful we decided to use Magnolia Rhapsody for our wedding. Beaux completely understood what musical theme we were going for - none of the cheesy wedding songs. People were on the dance floor from beginning to end, which was one of my greatest fears going into the wedding (if the dance floor isn't hoppin', people start bailin'). We had a request the day before our wedding to add the lighting package. Was no problem for Beaux and Cho and was well worth the money. If you're looking for a dj, seriously go with Magnolia Rhapsody. No complaints and you'll get way more than you pay for.
