We had our daughters wedding reception here. It was the best decision we made! It is a beautiful site inside and out. They provided delicious food, a fabulous wedding cake, all the technical equipment to show the wedding video, provide dance music and microphone. The bridal room and groom's suite were awesome! The staff took care of setting up and cleaning after. Beautiful linens, centerpieces and floral arrangements were provided in an array of color choices. Everyone was very helpful and allowed us to use the site for engagement photos, bridal photos, reveal and the wedding reception from 4- 11 pm. We were allowed to personalize tables and easels were available. I highly recommend this venue for a relaxed, amazing experience. Thank you Magnolia Grove for making our daughters dreams come true!

We recently held my daughter's wedding reception at Magnolia Grove. It was wonderful!! Amy was wonderful to work with and very helpful with suggestions when we had questions. The service was great, the grounds were beautiful, it was very open and spacious, I loved the beautiful staircase, and the brides room was glorious!! We had the wedding luncheon there as well, and the food was fantastic!! I was thrilled and I only wish I could marry my husband again and have a reception at Magnolia Grove! Maybe I will ask him!! :)

My work had their Christmas party at Magnolia Grove last year. It was incredible! Merely driving up to Magnolia Grove got me really excited to go inside.

First things first, the food was amazing. Oh my smokes I couldn't stop eating. I'm a man of fine tastes, and I seriously loved everything that was in front of my face. One word: eclairs.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything was decorated so nicely. There were huge Christmas trees all over the place. The tables and chairs aren't the cheap tables and chairs everywhere else. I really felt so comfortable there.

The service was top notch. I'm a slightly picky person when it comes to customer service, and I didn't notice one flaw. Seriously, I can't say enough about this wonderful escape from the crazy world we live in.

I had my daughter's Surprise Sweet 16 party here. It was such a fun event! Staff was there early. When I went in to set up special displays they were right there to help me with whatever I needed, even supplies I had forgotten. Amy was wonder to suggest different options they could do to make this a great party for my daughter. The food looked and tasted wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated in my daughter's favorite colors. I would suggest this to anyone planning any event.

This is a BEAUTIFUL location and the people who work there are all very friendly and helpful! They have packages that are easy to work with and cover quite a bit so the wedding planning gets a lot easier!!

Magnolia Grove was amazing! It was in our price range and had everything included in the package we chose. All we had to do was set up an appointment to pick out invitations, cake and flowers. They made everything go very smooth. I talked mainly with Amy, the owner of the reception center. I found that when I talked to her that she made sure everything was in place and ready. I stayed in contact with her and she helped us get through all of our decision making. The day of the wedding was perfect. All we had to do was show up. When we got there everything was set up perfectly. It was exactly how I pictured it. Our hostess was very attentive to us and made sure that we stayed on schedule and on task. She was very helpful. The food was awesome and so was the cake. I was very impressed and had many people give us compliments on everything. Nothing went wrong on my wedding day and I would like to thank Magnolia Grove for everything they did for us. If anyone finds themselves disappointed with this reception center, it is their own fault for being so dang picky and rude. Magnolia Grove is amazing!

When I had booked my wedding with Magnolia Grove they gave the finial price that I would pay right up front. It was so nice to work with them in picking out everything that I wanted, they went above and beyond my expectations. when the wedding day came I didn't have to worry about a thing, the hostess and staff took care of everything, I was stress free to enjoy my husbands and mines day. The food was wonderful, I still crave it to this day. Everything was perfect. The building was so beautiful as well as the grounds. I wouldn't of wanted my wedding day anywhere else. Thank you Magnolia Grove for making mine and my husbands day special.

Recently went to a Christmas party at Magnolia Grove Reception Center and I just have to say, my husband and I can not get over how gorgeous the facility is! We are visiting from Australia and have booked with Magnolia Grove Reception Center for a renewal of the vows party for our anniversary in 2014. My family is from Salt Lake City, and I knew, since the first time I arrived at the beautifully decorated structure that Magnolia Grove would be the place to celebrate with our friends and family for such a special occasion. The staff members were friendly and courteous, and the food was excellent and beautifully arranged, I automatically knew it would be the place for us. I am so excited for this and cannot think of anywhere else in Utah I would want to celebrate my special day!

My wife and I had our PERFECT wedding reception here. We had zero worries thanks to Magnolia Grove's staff. Definitely the place to go for wedding. Nothing else even comes close to comparing. The food was amazing, my only complaint is that I couldn't eat more of it.

My daughter's preschool graduation was held at Magnolia Grove. It is a gorgeous building and was such a fun setting for the graduation. My daughter felt like a princess coming down the grand staircase as her name was announced. We also got some great family pictures in the garden area with the rocks and waterfall.

The staff at Magnolia Grove was amazing, the food was great they kept everything full No complaints. The landscaping was awesome we took pictures out in front around the circle area. The water feature in the back was on and great to have in back ground of pictures. I will/have referred people there. Talk to Amy she will help you out with anything you need. Thanks Magnolia staff.

The stuff at magnolia are great, very friendly respectful, they help out so much setting and making sure everything went smooth. I would/ do recommend people to check the place out. The landscaping is awesome water fall was going while we got married. Thanks again to the stuff at Magnoila grove.

Magnolia Grove was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding and reception, such a beautiful place and the staff was just wonderful, couldn't have asked them to be more caring or more friendly, my daughter was treated like a princess, it was the perfect day for my daughter, and Magnolia Grove made it so special for her, thank you so much Magnolia Grove for making her wedding day the greatest.............

Magnolia Grove totally rocks. Amy was just awesome. So helpful as we were deciding on menu, cake, even helped me make final choice on my colors. The building is so grand, it isn't Tara from my fave old movie, but it is so like an old Southern mansion. The bride's room I loved. I'll remember my wedding day with joy always. Thanks, Magnolia Grove, for making my dreams a reality. Oh, BTW, the food was great too.

I had been to Magnolia Grove for a dinner once but this was the first reception I had attended there. It is a very beautiful building and the grounds are equally impressive, especially at this time of year, mid-June, with all the flowers in bloom and the water features. I am the bride's Auntie, so I was right there in the middle of everything.....it was such a PERFECT night, and my niece and her husband treasure their memories. Everything was wonderful, from the DJ, Laughing Gravy, that was recommended by the staff, to the food which was perfect, to the cake. We were even able to get the chocolate fountain my niece wanted. So much fun....I think everyone had a great time from the children present to my mother, who was the bride's grandmother, and "danced" from her wheelchair. I would highly recommend Magnolia Grove to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

We had a great experience with our wedding at Magnolia Grove. The quality of service was above and beyond in order to make our wedding day special. We always had someone to talk to in person or phone in order to answer all of our questions. Their responsiveness was quick and very professional. We checked other reception centers and the Value at Magnolia Grove was very competative and reasonble. The staff was very flexible in acccomodating us with pictures which for some in the party occured before and after the wedding date. I would highly recommend Magnolia Grove to any future couples looking for a reception center.

The reason I loved this venue so much because of how much room it has opposed to other venues. My husband has a very large family, and we planned a sit down dinner, so we needed the extra space. Everything looked great the day of my wedding, the staff was very helpful and friendly the whole time as they were helping direct the whole thing and serve the food. It was a great place to get married!

This location was beautiful and perfect for our wedding. They provided several different options for the ceremony and we were so happy with the layout. The food was amazing, the decor was exactly what we wanted. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved how big the brides room was for getting ready. This venue was so amazing I even did our engagement announcement photos there and my bridals as well for no additional cost. Love this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Magnolia Grove for my daughter's wedding reception. The staff were always very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. We thought that the venue was beautiful, spacious, very well cared for, and perfect for our needs. We were so happy we choose Magnolia Grove and would highly recommend them to anyone.

This place is so beautiful! We had a full package which included food, ceremony, cake and flowers and we were so amazed! We had many compliments on the venue, which had a ton of parking and great views of the mountains from the balcony. It was a magical setting in the back outdoor area, even though it rained on our date, the inside was just as nice as the bride walked down the gran staircase. We had the best time and would recommend the venue to anyone

This was a beautiful location that was made perfect for our day by letting us custom do table linens and centerpieces. They were very flexible as we ended up moving our date up. Magnolia Grove was an enchanting place with an elegant feel to it. The only down side was on our wedding night the sound system wasn't working right but they helped make it feel as good as possible.

They were not the most responsive, but we loved everything that they did for us! The food was delicious, the reception center was beautiful, and the space was great!

This was a beautiful reception center and had everything we wanted for our wedding. The staff were very efficient and friendly, and the food won rave reviews from all of our guests!

The only issue we had was that they were very strict with the time. As soon as it was 10 minutes to the end of our reception, the lights went on and tables started getting taken down.

We got a lot of mixed feedback from each different person we worked with at this venue. It seemed like no one really knew what the rules and protocol was. But overall it was great venue to have a wedding!

Constantly change what they tell you they will do after you make your down payment. They make it sound amazing until you make your down payment, then they change everything and try to charge you for every tiny thing!! We heard “we have to make a profit” constantly. I know they have to make a profit, but if you want to make more profit you should be providing another service. Even if you cater anything, say like crumbl cookie, they charge $3 a cookie just for bringing it on the property. So you pay the caterer and then them. The daughter was great, but the mother who is the owner, she is difficult to work with and constantly changes her mind from what you are originally told by the daughter. If you want to arrive before 4 to set up, it is $500 an hour just to be there. The only thing they supply is very expensive food and table cloths. My daughters experience with this venue was extremely stressful because of the constant changes by the owner of the venue. The night of the wedding, they did a good job and things went well without any stress or complications and the food was good.

Magnolia Grove was the first venue we checked for my daughter's wedding, the place is beautiful. At first I was impressed with how attentive and accommodating they were. My daughter loved the place and decided that it was where she wanted to have her wedding and reception. I wanted her to check others, but we had a time restraint, so we decided to go with them, and they made us believe that the day would be perfect. The day of the wedding, the music would not work for the bride and groom to exit the ceremony. and the stereo system did not work for them to have their dance or anyone else to dance--the speakers kept crackling, the hostess said that the speakers were blown; when I called to complain about it, the manager told me that it was because the ipod we were using was too new and it would not work with their dock!!!!! WHAT??????? we tried 2 ipods, a laptop, and several iphones, and nothing worked, of course we had worked on a mix specifically for their first dance, the daddy/daughter dance, and songs to make the reception special. we got a microphone for 5 minutes, and the hostess took it away. we had to shout that the couple were ready to cut the cake, etc. The wait staff did not keep up on the plates, glasses and silverware. My daughter was in tears because people kept coming up to her and asking for plates, and glasses, and asking them when they were going to do their dances and nothing was going right on what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life. The staff was not so accommodating then, not even caring--actually rude.

We booked Magnolia Grove for my daughters reception. Put a $1,000.00 down on her event.
We had to cancel the event. Magnolia Grove refunded nothing. We tried to do everything possible to sell the date,etc. Now my daughter is getting married again and I asked if we could get a small discount and they said no! They are very money tight, and greedy at Magnolia Grove. They have lots of hidden fees and are demanding! I wouldn't recommend this venue.

We just had our company Christmas party at Magnolia Grove last night and I was unfortunately very disappointed in the service we received. As head of the Christmas party committee, I met with a member of the staff from Magnolia Grove a few times before the big event. Everything seemed great. The place is elegant and very well decorated for the holidays. The staff was helpful and offered suggestions when planning. We had specified when we wanted dinner to be served and how we wanted the tables arranged.

When we arrived 1 hour before the party, we found that the tables were not setup as we had asked. There wasn't any Rep there to meet us, ask how we liked the setup, or see if we needed any help. We began moving tables ourselves to ensure all of our guests would be able to enjoy the entertainment. A few staff members from the kitchen came out while we were moving things around but never offered to help move tables/chairs. Our main contact at Magnolia Grove came out 10 minutes before the party started and instead of apologizing for the setup being incorrect and not helping with the changes, she complained that there wasn't enough room between the tables for her staff. Dinner wasn't ready on time and even though we planned for 13 extra plates of the ultimate buffet, we still ran out of food. I was so excited for this event and thought we had made a good choice with Magnolia Grove but for the price we paid, we definitely didn't receive the service we should have. I would not recommend Magnolia Grove.

They promised me a nice, easy wedding and I was embarrassed by the services provided or lack there of. When I booked my wedding at Magnolia Grove, I was so excited to marry my best friend and have the wedding I dreamed of. Everything was fine up until my actual wedding day. A half hour before the wedding ceremony, the hostess told my maid of honor and DJ that the speakers above the dance floor were blown. She brought out a karaoke machine for the 60's and an iPod dock. While our first dance was playing, the speaker continuly cut out and crackled. When we asked the hostess to bring out a microphone, she brought it out just long enough to announce the cake cutting then took the microphone back. For the rest of the wedding reception transitions, we were forced to yell to our 100 plus guests. The staff came out to tell us the dessert bar was ready. My maid of honor went to check everything out and discovered there were 10 forks, a handful of plates and 2 glasses. She went back to ask the staff about the dishes and they replied they had to wash them first. Why would an establishment who knows they are having a wedding with 100 plus people that night not have all the dishes washed. She had to continually go back and make sure they were still washing more as guest were waiting several minutes for their refreshments. They also needed to be reminded to be continually cutting the cake so all the guest could have a piece. When numerous family members approached the hostess for guidence on the next part of the wedding she replied "it is not my job to make announcements" so we asked her for the microphone back. She then replied "you asked if I had a microphone, not if you could use it". REALLY??? After the altercation with the 18 year old who was put in charge of my wedding, she was not seen again that night. After about a week and a half of cooling off, I went to talk to Amy and she could not even muster up an apology.

I feel quite cheated by Magnolia Grove. They were very bad at getting back to me once I had paid them the initial "Non Refundable Deposit" It was the moment, Day of Wedding, they threatened my Wedding Line that if they were caught drinking before the designated "Drinking Time" 7:30PM - 10PM they would deny the bar being opened to my guests. By the way I had already purchased over $1,000 in Beer and Wine for my guests and that would have been a deal breaker (not mention there $650 bar fee). They neglected to tell me this prior to me paying and signing their contract. If they had such a problem with Alcohol they should clearly state that or claim to be a sober venue. They then proceeded to tell my guests that they were disgusting for smelling like cigarette smoke and that they needed to be away from the doors because it was coming inside and it stank to them. I apologized for that and made sure guests knew to be at least 25 feet from the door, but there weren't any receptacles for cigarette butts anyways. The last straw was when the wedding coordinator ripped a glass of wine from my sister's hand who by the way was in my wife's line. She then told my sister she has had plenty to drink. They said the allotted time for drinking was 730-10 I was under the impression that the bar tender service was til 10PM, but I didn't think people couldn't finish their drinks til 11PM when the reception ran til. They were very hostile and very rude. I called and complained and the lady was very short and sarcastic towards me and didn't release the owners information. She said she would only pass on to the manager and she would get back in touch with me. Well that was in September so I am still waiting. Maybe it is on a dial up phone they are calling from.......... Everything was well overpriced and not worth it folks! We spent $4500.00 for Cheesecake and Fruit, A venue and a 3 layered Butter Cream Cake.
