I cannot say enough great things about this venue, the owners, the event coordinator, Nancy, and everyone/everything else that is a part of this place! We booked our wedding date a year out and every step of the way Magnolia Farms was right there to help - and right away! The venue is STUNNING and offers sooo much space. We didn't have to worry about where to get ready, a rain plan or even where to stay the night of our wedding. And not to mention, the price for everything offered was unbelievable! I hope one day my husband and I can go back and visit this beautiful place.

This perfect venue hosted the best day of my life. There are not enough good things to say about the location, the space, and the coordinator Nancy!! This venue was everything and more then I expected for my wedding day. Me and my girls got to stay in a cabin overnight and it was the best time!! We got ready in the cabin and took our pictures up there. This venue is so gorgeous you could take a picture anywhere!! The guys got ready in the men’s lodge and shot some pool while they were waiting. Nancy coordinated our wedding perfectly and it went nearly flawless. Best day of my life

We could not have been happier with our experience at Magnolia Farms and with Nancy Bishop (coordinator). The venue had everything we needed and more! They were able to accommodate our small, intimate wedding and made it absolutely perfect. We were worried that a venue that could host hundreds of guests might seem like overkill for such a small ceremony and reception, but we were wrong! Nancy had creative ways to set up the spaces, and gave us many options and then executed them flawlessly! Having the entire farm for the wedding weekend was another bonus. We were able to stay in the beautiful cabin on site, have access to the grounds and buildings for other wedding activities like hosting a shrimp boil and bonfire at night. It was worth every penny and was so convenient!
Nancy worked with us from day one to make sure we had everything covered! She was organized, thorough, and even surprised us with thoughtful treats when we arrived! She felt like family to us by the end of the weekend. It would not have been the same without her!

This could not have been a better place. Nancy was perfect at helping us through the day, and her suggestions for vendors made us stay in budget while having a truly spectacular wedding. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. Do yourself a favor, make your wedding planning easy and call Nancy!!

Mary was absolutely a joy to work with. Samary Palntation was beautiful and exceeded our daughter’s Wedding Day dreams. The extra services and buildings we rented just completed the weekend. All of our guests still comment it is one of the best weddings that have attended.

Samary Plantation is a destination wedding right in the middle of Eagleville, Tennessee. Our daughter's wedding began and ended at Samary. There is a charming "gas station" for your rehearsal dinner, and amazing barn for the reception, too many spots on the property to mention for your wedding ceremony, and a contingency rain plan as well! There are small to large vintage homes on the property to house your guests, your wedding party, or yourself! Mary, the owner, is a delight. She's very professional, knows her product well, and loves her brides. I would recommend Samary Plantation highly to anyone considering a barn/country wedding site.

We used Samary Plantation as our venue for our daughter's wedding. BREATHTAKING! is the best way to describe it. The grounds are beautiful, and the different areas you can use for your event is what makes this venue unique. We had an outdoor ceremony on a beautiful fall evening underneath tall, majestic trees. We used the stables for a cocktail hour while the bride and groom were finishing up their pictures, and then on to the gorgeous main barn for the reception. They offer lots items for your use, at no extra charge. Mary and Nancy are gems to work with. They are both so down to earth, always very helpful, accomodating, and enthusiastic. We felt like we were family by the end of the weekend! I will recommend Samary Plantation to all my friends and family.

Samary Plantation is an amazing venue. It is absolutely gorgeous!!! It truly makes the entire process of planning for a wedding easier because of its beauty and convenience. It features rolling hills, a beautiful reception barn and a full kitchen. We rented the three houses on the property the night before and the night of the wedding, which was a huge plus! Our guests were able to sleep over after the wedding, and we had an amazing time! Nancy Bishop and Mary Tune are easy to work with, and they gave us the entire day before the wedding to set up. Nancy helped with coordinating the day of the wedding, and she was extremely flexible and always available (before and during the wedding.) They are very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a beautiful setting for your wedding that includes professionalism, convenience, value and beauty, this is the place for you.

This venue was wonderful. The included wedding planner was there for anything you needed and to answer any questions. The location is beautiful and has houses available for rent that we stayed in and some friends and family stayed in. My wedding here was perfect.

You can't beat the country charm of Samary Plantation or its amazing location not far from Arrington Vineyards. The owner is very friendly and the multiple buildings on the property offer a variety of uses for photos, accommodating guests and having a great occasion. The only consideration you need to make is that there is no air conditioning in the big barn. It was perfect for our wedding with plenty of room for out-of-town guests to stay on the property and it is so nice to have the place to yourselves for the weekend.

Overall, we were happy we selected this location, but we want to provide some insight to help others.

PROS:
- Beautiful setting
- Guests loved touring the property
- Very responsive and flexible with our vendors and decor
- Nancy made some good suggestions to my concerns
- We were able to take engagement photos here for no extra charge
- Loved staying on the property all weekend
- Nancy and Kim set up a private dining for us so we could actually eat!


CONS:
- Nancy had another meeting scheduled to show another future bride around for the same time she was supposed to oversee our setup - which led to lots of confusion and frustration. Led to a stressful set up, but fortunately our wonderful families were a big help.
- They say the venue can hold 200, but our 170 guests seemed a little cramped in the carriage barn. The weather was good so many people hung out outside.
- We paid $400 to Nancy for clean-up to be taken care of. We had to re-pack all of our decorative items as many of them were just thrown in boxes. Quite disappointing.
- Before we entered out reception, Nancy told us that we were running out of food and that our band didn't know what they were doing. Once we entered we realized our guests had plenty of food and the band was just fine! Some of the food items did run out, but it was just vendors who did not get to sample everything. We had ordered food for 180 people (only 170 guests) so I felt as though we did our job on this.
- Nancy told us of lots of disrespectful prior wedding guests in weekends before our wedding - it was a bit too much information and added to our own stress. I think their prior "bad guests" led Nancy to be on edge and not as professional as usual.
- We thought Nancy would be around to direct the reception, but she was not. Our pie cutting was forgotten and the exit was led by our family & friends.

I think having my own wedding planner could have helped with many of our issues.
