Magicsound Productions

Our DJ (rickochet entertainment) cancelled on us 24 hrs prior to our wedding day. I frantically searched for a replacement and found Peter with Magicsound Productions.

Peter was very receptive and very professional. Coming in 24hrs before an event and picking up the pieces wasn’t easy, but he did it with speed, accuracy, professional way which I cannot say others have done.

He did not dance around issues, he faced them head on and put together a plan for us in a very limited amount of time.

If you’re looking for a DJ in Colorado, I would recommend Peter with Magicsound Productions before anyone else!

Great wedding DJ!

Peter was great! He made hiring a DJ super easy. He responded quickly, listened to what we wanted and was easy to communicate with. He did a great job keeping people dancing all night long!

Great experience from beginning to end!

Peter was great to work with and was very flexible with our requests. We wanted mostly EDM at our wedding and he was able to play everything we wanted and was actually really good at mixing songs. We were very impressed! He also had a separate sound set up for the ceremony which was a major plus. We will be referring him to our friends in the future.

Simply Amazing!

We hires him out of luck after our original dj canceled on us a few days prior to the event. Peter responded formally, quickly and very professionally i wouldn’t hesitate to book him again!

So flexible and high energy!

Peter was AMAZING from helping us put together a timeline that worked for our day to keeping people entertained all night long. He was so flexible with us and our venue who did not make things easy on either of us and kept switching things around. He made it seemless and was a joy to work with on our big day!

Very professional DJ and MC

Peter Donello was very professional and skilled as a DJ and MC. We had no coordinator and were flying by the seat of our pants day-of. He guided everyone around, rearranged a dance when we needed, and kept the music rolling! He was friendly and helpful.

Peter was very easy to work with and flexible.

Let's just say my daughter's wedding was one that will always be memorable. Peter did an amazing job reading the crowd and getting the reception going despite a traumatic event happening with the ring barer, and him being air lifted from the venue. Peter stayed an extra forty five minutes past his hired time. The guests throughly enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend Magic Sounds Productions and will hire him again for future events!

Flexible and entertaining

Peter from Magic Sound Productions provided the music and announcements for my wedding and reception in April. We had a beach theme and he played his part wonderfully by wearing a tropical suit that was perfect! We had given him a playlist and he worked with that. He played the music for the ceremony and adjusted it to fit our timing. He was entertaining with the announcements and made everything flow. I would recommend him to all my friends.

Great Wedding DJ!

Peter was a great at our wedding! He took the extra time to have some of our (not well known) favorite music artist's music so it could be played for us during the reception. This was such a great touch to hear these songs come on! ❤️ He was really understanding when we had to change the timeline a little to accommodate making sure everyone was in the room for our cake cutting and speeches. We highly recommend using him!

Pete was wonderful! He was very responsive, he had a great balance of professionalism and fun! He did an amazing job of keeping our timeline on track and had a great variety of music for our guests! Peter was fantastic! He practically ran our whole wedding. He made sure everyone was ready for walking down the isle, grand entrance, the Champagne toast and the traditional wedding dances. He made announcements, coordinated the use of microphones for speaches and vows. He even did some cool magic at the end for some of the guests. He also made sure that we (the bride and groom) heard the songs we were excited about. All in all Peter is a real professional who knows his stuff, loves music and is a first class entertainer. 100% would recommend.

We highly recommend Peter for your event. He not only made a timeline for our wedding that included ceremony and reception music for main events, but he was very helpful in answering questions and even making a special mix for the father daughter dance. Peter has an incredible team working tirelessly to make your event or wedding extra special! Our Dj Branden Womack showed up early and worked tirelessly through the day and night to create an amazing experience, one that my new wife and I will never forget! When we did our outdoor ceremony they had everything set up perfect and played all the songs we had on our list! When we had our small venue reception he was on point with a great line up and some fun lighting too! The price was right and everything they provide is super pro! I wish we could rate Peter 10 stars! Peter was extremely helpful and enthusiastic during the planning leading up to the wedding. He had excellent coordination with the other vendors in regards to timing and planning. He provided his own equipment which seemed to be of excellent quality. And most importantly he was great to work with. He was invested in making the event a success. He has a great personality, easy to get along with and he is great at addressing the crowd. Any speaking he did was very concise and professional and he has a great DJ Voice. He also had no trouble finding every song we wanted to play, and he performed everything exactly according to our plan. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. I would totally recommend him for any event!

From our first conversation with Peter, we knew he was best the DJ for our wedding! He is highly professional- gave expert help and feedback flow of the wedding, song suggestions, highly responsive to our questions, and also at a wonderful price. He stuck to what we wanted, but was checking in throughout the night to be sure everything was going according to our wishes as our guest had requests. He had a lovely and high quality equipment set-up too. We highly recommend having Peter make your event amazing, too!

We were very pleased with the professionalism of our DJ and the effort put into creating a great music list for all parts of the wedding. Mr. Donello does an outstanding job in making sure the music playing is what you want and will get people to dance. We provided a detailed list of music and it was followed very well with a few new songs, that are our new favorites, coming from his large music library. If you are looking for a DJ that will help relieve stress from music concerns and make sure every part of the wedding is on schedule with music then look no further.

We used Peter for our October wedding and he was beyond amazing. Peter did our music for our ceremony and the music flowed beautifully and he wasn't a second to soon or late! He did exactly what we wanted! He also did our reception and was extremely flexible and made music requests simple for our guests. He was also on top of all announcements and sticking to exactly what we wanted! As well being extremely helpful the days leading up and able to answer questions we had! I would highly, highly recommend Peter!
I honestly can't say enough about how great he was!

Peter Donello set up in a non-invasive and attractive way. He played the variety of songs requested by the bride and groom. He made a few announcements that were needed such as to start the toast. He had a microphone that worked for the ceremony and toasts. He was "THERE" for us and helped set the atmosphere for the garden wedding. I recommend his services highly. Peter was great - very receptive, able to adapt styles and songs to meet our needs, and most importantly, he respected our "do not play" list. He was unobtrusive and seamlessly led the reception from one activity to the next. He was able to change tactics mid-reception to get the little kids out on the floor, which really livened up our very small wedding!

Wonderful DJ. Classy, responsive, helpful. He was wonderful, helped our daughter and her husband select appropriate music for the ceremony and has a wonderful insight to getting all the guests up and dancing and having a great time. Huge selection of music and many years experience.

Peter had his hands full with us for my son's wedding, but he was more than accommodating! His planning form was the best guide we could have had! He did the ceremony, close up magic during drinks and hos d oeuvres, His emceeing was fun and helpful. Then there was the help he gave to my god daughter, who sang a couple of songs for the mother son dance, and a special dance for the bride and groom and their daughter, He set up the background music for her, and it was the best surprise! Than you for helping us make great memories Peter!

We planned a destination wedding to Grand Lake, CO from Indiana. We never met Peter until the day of and hadn't been to the location until the day before. He was incredibly flexible and professional, and took initiative on the day of no I needed to not worry about anything. He played for both the wedding and reception and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment. Wish the party could have kept going (and he was flexible enough to have continued), but there was a noise ordinance! Outstanding DJ Services!

Peter was an awesome DJ! I was first introduced to him at my son's wedding and how he got people swaying through dinner. Peter was open to our suggestions and he made sure that all of our special requests were played. Throughout the evening he checked in with us when a guest would request a song that really wasn't our cup of tea. We always had the last say. Peter was very prompt and had everything set up in plenty of time. The sound system and light display was awesome! If you need a DJ you should contact Peter. I definitely recommend him!

Always on time for any meetings and of course he was on time for the ceremony. He was helpful and informative, and made a perfect song list on a very short notice. I would absolutely recommend to friends.

We couldn't have found a better DJ than Peter Donello of Magicsound Productions! Before our wedding, he was very responsive and helpful - for example, he sent us multiple versions of background tracks for the ceremony music. The day of the wedding, my mom (who was singing for the ceremony) was anxious about practicing the songs, so Peter showed up several hours early to ensure she had the opportunity to work with him prior to guests arriving. His music choices kept the party going and he was wonderful about interacting with the crowd.

Peter was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He was professional and his equipment was top notch. He performed all of the tasks required of him flawlessly and he put us totally at ease (which is a great thing for a wedding). Peter was the best. Some things we didnt have a clue about, but he walked us through it and kept our wedding on schedule and the music was great. Very professional and you can tell he loves his job, and is great at it.

You worry how accurate reviews are and what someone is like from pictures when you are trying to find someone, but I shouldn't have worried. Peter had equipment to set up at both the Foote Lagoon for the ceremony and reception at the Rialto. He was organized, thorough, and on time before the reception dotting every i and crossing every t to make sure everything went smoothly. Peter managed the flow of each part of the reception smoothly and got a conservative group of people to join in the dancing. Great music, great energy, lots of fun! He was also very reasonably priced!

Peter was wonderful and a pleasure to have at our wedding! He was so helpful and flexible through the planning process and did his best to make it easy and stress free. He was great hosting throughout the evening and took requests and had the dance floor full of fun. We had a projector and he was able to play music videos and it really added a fun element to the night. He even matched his tie with our colors! Peter set up early and was ready to go and it was so nice to not have to worry about the night. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Peter was absolutely outstanding! He was on time, professional, flexible, and fun. He made our wedding amazing! He set a great tone and the up lighting was beautiful. Peter was wonderful. We had a great time, he was really flexible with the event, and always kept things moving. I appreciate the fact that the week before the wedding he walked us through the entire day. Also, he helped us find a very hard song for our Mother Son Dance. During the day he would always come up to me and my husband and make sure everything was ready for the next step, or ask if we would like to do something else. He had a great selection of music, and played some new and old stuff and took recommendations. I would really recommend the projector/ screen as well. Was a GREAT deal for the price.

Pete was very professional and responsive. We were able to communicate all party details via email, which was extremely helpful with my work schedule. By the time that I showed up to the venue, Pete had already set up all the equipment and had the music (and music videos!) playing. He was able to read his audience, accept music requests, and even provide a wireless mic for our company announcements. Peter did a very good job at mixing the genres that we wanted together; 80s rock, country and pop. At first I thought that mix would be a disaster. Peter had people singing along and dancing for most of the night. There were a couple songs where people didn't dance. We also used Peter for our ceremony and everything ran smoothly there as well.

I work for the Wyoming National Guard Child and Youth Program and we hired Branden from Magic Sound Productions to be our DJ for a Father/Daughter event that we had on December 19th. The event was fantastic and Branden provided excellent entertainment and knew exactly what he was doing. I feel as if the evening would not have been as successful if not for his services!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a DJ for an event similar to a Father/Daughter dance. Peter was great for our small (85 guests) wedding. We had two sites, one that required a very remote set up since it didn't have any electricity. Peter was able to accommodate easily. He is incredibly professional and helped us select songs and plan our day.

Overall Great Job

I'm going to take responsibility for some of the oops moments. My MIL decided at the last minute we should hire a DJ instead of using the band I'd picked for the entire day. I didn't quite convey what we wanted because to be blunt, I hadn't wanted a DJ at all. That being said, he did a great job despite us bringing him on board only a few months before the wedding. My only comments are no post it notes on the tables (really bothered me seeing cheap post it notes for requests on tables I'd spent months planning!!!!), and a more traditional version of the hora. And apparently our wedding planner never let him know when the cake was going to be cut so he announced it before we were ready. Considering we threw him into this fairly unprepared, he did a great job though aside from the post it notes!

Peter agreed to help with our wedding less than one week before the event when our other arrangement fell through. He was extremely responsive, spent time ahead of the event understanding what we wanted, and did an excellent performance outdoors in the pouring rain (which we weren't anticipating). The worst DJ ever!!! Yelled at wedding party about entrance when I was missing a bridesmaid, refused to allow my groomsmen to announce wedding, refused to take song requests from me or guest. Did not play requested songs groom picked out weeks before. Della terra staff over heard the way.he treated us and needless to say he will no longer be welcomed there. If you want a five star DJ he is not you guy
