Highly recommend

Amy was so much fun and the best to partner with on our day. They made everything so enjoyable and captured literally everything. Doing an engagement shoot before the wedding was a perfect way to work together and determine what we loved so the team knew exactly what we wanted! Highly highly highly recommend Magic Moments!!!

Amazing experience!

Amy was ab-so-lute-ly fantastic!!! From the moment she started to the end of the night she was high energy and fun, making everyone laugh and smile to capture the perfect moment! Every guest told me how much they loved her and what an amazing job she was doing! We are so lucky to have found such a talented photographer for our wedding day and we cannot wait to see the final products :)

Simply perfect!!

We highly recommend Magic Moments for your special day! They were there through every phase of the wedding planning process. Asif was simply the perfect photographer!! There is no doubt he is very experienced shooting weddings! Asif was very prepared for our Wedding, arriving to Deerfield early, and with ample equipment to be able to shoot a variety of shots. He dressed to impress, was very respectful and took time to learn everyone’s names in the bridal party, including family (we had close to 20 of us). Asif made the bridal party and us feel very comfortable. As an experienced portrait photographer he was very good at positioning everyone to get the best poses, and made sure we were all in the right place and the right time. The bridal party was blown away with what he could do. Asif was patient yet assertive, and more than willing to bend over backwards for us to make sure we got every shot we wanted... and boy did we! He made sure every part of the day was captured and stayed with us until the very end of the night. We had many of our guests come up to us and tell us what a great job he was doing, and the bridesmaids wanting to take pictures with him. Asif also traveled over an hour to do our engagement shoot at Syracuse University, where we walked around the hilly area, in the rain and wind, and he never once complained. The shots he took blew us away.
We write this review with smiles on our faces, and are beyond thankful Asif was able to capture our special day!!

The most captivating perspectives

Eric provided nothing short of the most spectacular wedding photos we could have asked for. He has a genuine artistic eye and gives a very unique perspective to wedding photos. He captured the moments so well that the memories bring me right back to the night when I look through his photos.

Easily the best

Eric is so easy to work with. He is so down to earth and makes it feel like you've known him for years! Our engagement photos came out beautiful and we can't wait to see our wedding photos. He was awesome during the wedding and pulled us aside to take sunset pictures at the perfect time. He and his assistant were both extremely professional and accomodating

Very personable

We fell in love with their photographs at a recent bridal show and I had to see what they offered. Asif was great!!! He was fun and personable. We formally met with Asif and Eric (owner) and we were sold on the spot. Can't wait to work with them.

Amazing NYE Bash!

Our wedding was this New Years Eve 12/31/18- We chose Eric after one meeting and instantly knew he was going to do an amazing job. He explained photography is his life and has been since he was young. We felt so comfortable putting our wedding photos into his hands to document our special day. He had so many good ideas for pics and was very familiar with our venue. Also whenever we had an idea for a pic he was completely accommodating. I would recommend Magic Moments to anyone getting married in the future!

Amazing experience- highly recommend!

Eric with magic moments did amazing this past weekend! He was so kind, helpful, and hardworking throughout the evening. He always checked in on us to ensure we were okay and made sure to get some amazing shots. We were lucky to have him with us!

Amy and Brandon were great! They were enthusiastic and took pictures all night long. They had us go back outside to get sunset and night pictures as well. I cannot wait to see all of the pictures. I highly recommend Magic Moments Photography!

My husband and I fell quickly in love with Magic Moments photography because of how Eric captures a mixture of architecture, candid moments, and angled perspectives in his photos. The day of our wedding Eric did such a great job keeping a schedule for us and got all of our shots we wanted efficiently and quickly. He did amazing dealing with our young, crazy ring bearers who wanted to be in every photo possible and touch all the camera equipment. Nevertheless, Eric showed how flexible, professional, and quick thinking he is regardless of the circumstances of the event. We had a winter wedding and he got in the snow (literally IN the snow) to get the perfect winter shots. He went above and beyond to capture the perfect photos and we are so grateful! He stayed the whole wedding until the event was over. We are so impressed and happy with all our wedding photos. We have already had so many compliments by friends and family of how amazing our pictures came out. He truly captured all the love and emotion of the day. Thanks again, Eric!

I met Ben at a Wedding Show just over a year before my wedding. I was nervous about finding a photographer because I didn't want someone who relied heavily on photoshop or didn't have the same taste as me. When I was flipping through his book I was really impressed. We ended up doing a engagement session with him which was ideal because it allowed us to get to know him and we had a chance to get to know him.

Leading up to the wedding Eric was very easy to communicate with - we were able to solidify a time line for the day of and he communicated all of that to Ben. I'm really excited to see the photos. Both photographers were around for the entire night and I'm sure that there's going to be some gorgeous shots.

I strongly recommend this company. From the "getting ready" pictures, to the first look, to the end of the reception I feel confident that everything will turn out perfectly, especially after seeing how beautiful the Engagement photos were!

From start to finish, Eric was amazing. I'm not someone who likes the focus to be on me, so I was concerned about how I would feel having someone following me around all day. His easygoing nature put me immediately at ease, and after the formal pictures were done, I didn't even see him the rest of the night, but the pictures proved he was in the middle of the action all night long. We got hundreds of fabulous pictures and made sure that we were able to relive every detail of our day through our pictures. I couldn't have asked for more, but then our pictures were done and ready to be picked up while we were still on our honeymoon! This business is worth every penny!

I can't even begin to explain how grateful we are to Eric and Magic Moments! From the first meeting, we knew we had to have him for our wedding. His packages are affordable, and his easy going, laid back demeanor helped put us both at ease when we were in front of the camera. For our engagement session, Eric was kind enough to let us break for a few minutes so we could go home to get our dog since we wanted our pup included in the photo's. The pictures we received were AMAZING; I couldn't believe how incredible they turned out; it just goes to show how talented he really is. The day of our wedding, he was on time and ready to roll. He took us to numerous spots around the city for our first-look pictures, and stayed with us well into the night to capture every moment. We are SO GRATEFUL!!!!! Please book him, you will not be disappointed!!!

When we met with Eric for the first time we knew instantly that he had to capture our day! His personality and drive for detail was exactly what we were looking for. He was willing to try different poses to get that perfect shot. Everywhere we looked on our wedding day, Eric was right there capturing the most important dances to the fun and silly moments. Working with Eric at Magic Moments has been an amazing experience! We both knew as soon as we met him that he could capture our day in a way that we wanted. Eric was amazing! I was so happy on my wedding day that I had decided to hire him as our photographer. I was somewhat hesitant as we were trying to maintain a budget and his prices were a little more. Pricing for photography really had a broad range making it a little difficult to select if you are not very knowledgeable in this area. My fiance and I met with several photographers and I spent many hours trying to make the decision - looking online at reviews and photos of various photographers, meeting with several in person and speaking with several on the phone. I finally decided to go with Magic Moments as I thought the photos of my wedding would be what really documented our special day. Eric did such a great job! From the moment I started on the wedding day I was much more anxious than I had anticipated and I knew that having Eric there I did not have to worry at all about the photos. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He captured the day all the way through so that the photos really tell our story. The time he takes after touching up the photos and his various techniques with his lenses makes for unique photos. He also was able to really use the beautiful scenery of our venue which was very important to me. He was patient and very agreeable in any photos we wanted. He also helped to keep us on our timeline during our special day, which I think the guests really appreciated! There was not a huge time gap during which we took photos while the guests waited. He arrived early and stayed through the entire reception. Many of our favorites photos were from the reception. So many of my guests commented that he was everywhere! Every time they looked he was taking a photo. They said they never had been to a wedding with such an engaged photographer who took pictures beyond the couple themselves but focused on the guests and the entire event. I could not recommend Eric more highly - the value is more than worth the price!

Eric and the team at Magic Moments were incredibly easy to work with, and our pictures came out looking amazing. We have booked Magic Moments Photography for our Wedding in June! We just had our engagement photo session and the pictures are stunning! Eric's eye for photography is incredible and we are so excited to continue working with him on our Wedding day! He made us feel so comfortable and completely ourselves during our engagement session, plus he was willing to travel to our spot that we preferred to have our pictures taken! I absolutely LOVED MM and working with Eric. We fell in love with his photography style the moment we walked in his studio and never had a second thought about our decision. For our day, we had him come several hours before the ceremony so we could do some one on one photos, including a first look and additional photos with the bridal party. Eric had great ideas for photo locations and also respected our choices on where we wanted to go. Everyone at the reception commented on how amazing he was - he was EVERYWHERE! I am sure we will get amazing photos back and I am SO happy we included him for our special day. I cannot give him enough praise!

DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO HIRE THESE PEOPLE! Pictures were touching, serious, beautiful, whimsical, funny and overall captured the emotion inherent in every moment of the wedding. The photo booth was a huge hit. And the video...the VIDEO! I am in tears every time I see it!

Eric did a fantastic job in photographing our wedding day! He is reliable, professional, personable, and overall we would highly recommend him to all of our friends and family. Eric was able to capture all the special moments of our wedding day without us even realizing he was around, he is attentive, patients, and listens to your ideas and provides great ideas of his own for wedding shots. We left our wedding photography in Eric's hands and he did an exceptional job! I am so happy after interviewing so many other Rochester photographers, we chose Eric from Magic Moments to photograph our wedding day, I truly do not feel that anyone else would have been able to capture our happiness and joy the way Eric did!

We thought hiring a photographer for our engagement and wedding was going to be difficult but after a quick search we fell in love with Eric Jackling's photos and after meeting him we hired him on the spot. He was professional, personable, and fun! Our wedding party had a blast with Eric and his assistant and I think it definitely came across in our photos. We didn't have to plan a thing as far as special photo locations as Eric scoped out some really great locations around Geneva before the big day. Eric also gave us some good leads for other vendors in the area. He truly has an eye for capturing the "magic" moments and we feel like we can relive our special day just by looking through our photos. The only issue is there are SO many great photos we're having trouble deciding which to have enlarged! Decisions aside, the quality of our prints so far and our proof album is excellent, beyond expectation even. You can rest assured if you hire Eric you will get that carefree wedding day experience and not have to worry about the quality of your photos, we couldn't have made a better decision!

From the moment I saw Eric's work, I completely fell in Love with it. His creative eye and ability to capture the moment's emotion is incredible. He goes above and beyond to capture the perfect picture. Eric and Emily were a true pleasure to work with. They were professional, attentive, funny, and easy to speak with.

I remember during the Trash the dress session, I almost fainted due to the heat and lack of eating. They both were very patient with me and even went out of their way to get me some water and something to eat. To top it of they were very good with our pup who participated in our trash the dress pictures :).

Our engagement, wedding, and trash the dress sessions were so much fun and came out amazing. The pictures were breath taking and we will forever treasure them.

My husband and I would recommend Magic moments 100+% We are very happy with our decision to use them as our photographer and videographer.

They were great to work with! While we haven’t received our pictures yet, we liked out engagement photos Amy did. Both she and Emily were great during our wedding day too! The pictures they did show us on their camera’s looked great. They were willing to spend plenty of time in the rain so we could get some really cool shots. Also, they stayed as long as we wanted them to and got a lot of great party shots. We had a comfort level with them the entire time, which was very important to us.

Loved working with MagicMoments photography for our wedding! We worked specifically with Ben and he was awesome! Made sure to take any photographs we requested but more importantly was able to tell us where to go and where he thought we should take pictures in between the the ceremony and reception since we were all a bit scatter brained at that point! We worked not only with Ben but were provided with an assistant photographer for the whole day so we know we will be getting great shots! I can't wait to see the photographs! I know they will be great because our engagement photos were awesome too!!

Determined to Dazzle, even 4 years later...
Initially following our wedding in 2009, we were not completely satisfied with the results that Eric and his team delivered. (To be fair, there was an honest technical hiccup that will likely never happen again!) However, Eric was determined to satisfy us so he and his team spent countless hours retouching our images until we were happy. 4 years later, after discovering we were still disappointed with some of our photos (bride/groomzilla?), Eric and his team revisited our entire album with modern tools and techniques and delivered a dazzling collection of 'Magical Moments'. I can't begin to describe the pride, dedication, and integrity that Eric Jackling and his crew at Magic Moments put in to their work!

Quality of Service: Continued to work until we were satisfied, Happy to revise to 5 stars now!
Responsiveness: Eric always answered the phone and responded to requests!
Professionalism: Even as difficult customers, Eric always remained professional
Value: I'm sure Eric blew any profit margin on us striving for perfection, I can't imagine getting a better deal anywhere else.
Flexibility: Eric and his team was flexible from day 1, agreeing to travel ~6 hours to our wedding

I was a little worried about how my wedding photos would come out since I am not very photogenic, but Eric did a fantastic job. He is creative, experienced and has a great personality. Eric kept our day moving on time while he captured all our special moments beautifully. My husband and I are very glad that we invested in Magic Moments for our wedding!

We used magic moments for both our photography and videography. We chose them after meeting the company at a bridal show because they do a lot of candid photography and photojournalism which was the style we were looking for. Our photographer Ben met with us several times before the wedding. He was incredibly easy to reach and very accommodating to make our day perfect

At our wedding Ben and Josh were absolutely amazing. Ben brought his assistant with him so we were lucky enough to have two photographers for the price of one! From the moment they arrived you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Not only are they creative and unique but they are so much fun! We felt like they were truly guests at our wedding. We received so many compliments about Ben and Josh we we honored to have them capture our big day. We can't wait to see our photos and video!

We met Eric at one of the bridal shows and immediately fell in love with him. We needed a photographer who was willing to take our wedding photos at Mount Hope cemetery, and when we mentioned this to him, he lit up with joy. We actually wanted the headstones in the photos and we had talked to a few other photographers who were not interested. On the day of the wedding, he took awesome shots with our kids. He is very creative and very artistic and we are just thrilled with the preview photos we saw, they are elegant and timeless and so unique. He had come and scoped out multiple sites around the cemetery to take our photos. Eric is very personable and was actually very fun to be around.

Eric (photographer/owner) and Deb (videographer) were great to work with! They were professional, but still fun! They had great ideas for places to take pictures and were open to suggestions. We ran short on time for pictures between the ceremony and reception, but they were able to change things up and get some great shots.

Eric Jackling of Magic Moments is a wonderful photographer, and my husband and I would completely recommend Magic Moments. He was professional from the beginning of our wedding preparations through to the end. Every step of the way, Eric was available for questions and would promptly return any phone calls and e-mails. His involvement, professionalism and love for his work are amazing.

Eric made our entire experience from start to finish very personalized. Eric was interested in our vision for the engagement photos and wedding in order to convey that through his photography. Eric captured all of the moments we wanted and more.

We cannot say enough about the quality of his work as well. The pictures were amazing and there were so many! We loved going through all of the pictures and it was hard to choose because there were so many wonderful shots! Through Eric's photography, my husband and I can relive our special day for years to come. Thank you Eric and Magic Moments! We cannot wait for you to photograph other special events for us in the future!

Magic Moments Photgraphy did an amazing job on our photographs. Our wedding was April 19, 2008 and we had our album and proofs back in less than three weeks. Eric was exceptional and we would highly recommend Magic Moments to anyone getting married in the Rochester, NY area.

We absolutely love Eric. He's very down to earth and easy to deal with. Our wedding isn't until next year, but we just did our engagement photo shoot with him and we felt so comfortable. He literally does whatever it takes to get the shot he wants. He was down on the ground and at one point we were all standing in the middle of a creek! Very funny, and was totally okay with us including our dogs in our session. Friends of ours are getting married in May and also decided to book with Eric. His packages were either the same pricing or less than other photographers that we met with. He won't try to pressure you to book with him right away and has a really great photo-journalistic style of shooting that my fiance and I love.

Update-10-12-16, we just got married a couple weeks ago and Eric was FANTASTIC! We did first look photos at the pier at Webster Park and had the best time with him and our wedding party. He was literally all over the place taking photos at our reception. He also worked with my mom on a surprise slideshow using childhood photos and we got a sneak peek at some of the photos he had taken during our first look THAT AFTERNOON! It was such a surprise to begin with but then to have him add those pictures in made it really special. Our guests loved it. And on a side note, he came to my rescue when I was having issues with my bustle at the reception....no one could find any safety pins to help hold it up and he just swooped in all of a sudden and dropped a bunch in my bridesmaid's hand and then got back to work.

I met Eric at one of the Rochester Wedding Events and immediately hit it off with him. I felt his personality best fit our vision of a relaxed and casual style wedding. We really enjoyed working with him and felt he did a great job capturing our wedding.

The quality of the pictures were absolutely breathtaking!!! Photographers are very artistic. We recieved tons of compliments, many people said they never seen pictures so beautiful. However, it was very hard to get a hold of our photographer, which is the only downfall. Our photographer was very fun during our sessions and acted more like a friend then someone that was working for us.
