DJ Magic Mike absolutely crushed it

DJ Magic Mike absolutely crushed it at a wedding we recently planned! The energy they brought was unreal—the guests couldn’t get enough. It was genuinely difficult for anyone to leave the dance floor… even when dinner was served! That’s how good they were.

The music was perfectly curated, the MC kept the crowd hyped and flowing, and the dhol player brought that extra punch of energy that lit the whole place up. Their chemistry, timing, and ability to read the room made all the difference.

The guests are still talking about how much fun they had. If you’re looking for a team that knows how to throw down and keep the party going all night long, DJ Magic Mike is it. As a wedding planner I highly recommend DJ Magic Mike!

Made our wedding so fun!

Mike and his team did such an amazing job at our wedding this past weekend, from our ceremony music to getting our guests dancing like crazy all night. The best team ever

Magic Mikes team was undeniably one of the best decisions Ive made during my wedding. Their team put in alot of effort to make sure my dream wedding came true and in the end it was all worth it! Not only did everybody enjoy the wedding but even days after people were raving about the music choice and the way that their team really hyped up the crowd and managed to get guests who never dance to get on the dance floor and move! In addition, Magic Mike managed to organize a huge surprise for me and my husband! TESHAR showed up to our wedding! i=We heard Jalebi baby LIVE and it was truly the best!!!!! The combination of his team, the dhol players, and the dance instructor who really got everyone to move, I couldnt have asked for more!!!!! Be ready to Party!

Mike is the best!. When I planned my wedding pre-COVID, I knew I wanted him to be my DJ after hearing him play at many parties and weddings over the years. My wedding was postponed but Mike was in constant contact until I finally had my wedding last weekend. People were so ready to party after the year we've had and Mike delivered. He was phenomenal. He plays a good mix of music and can read the audience well. We had a mix of Indian and non-Indian guests and everyone had a blast. People hadn't danced like that in years! Mike and his team are beyond DJs, they helped me plan a timeline and kept the flow of the evening going. I am so lucky to have had him for my event. People are still talking about what a great time they had.

An amazing VIRTUAL experience!

Mike DJ'd our wedding 10 years ago and it is still talked about by family and friends as the best reception they've been to. In fact, a lot of folks asked when we are going to throw a party like that again. The idea of a 10 year anniversary party got ruined due to the Covid pandemic but Mike came to the rescue. He put on an amazing event over Zoom giving all who attended a much needed break. People from all over the world enjoyed 3.5 hours of great music and Mike was a phenomenal emcee who got everyone involved and asked people to say something about us during some breaks. It takes a special DJ to make something like that happen and Mike is special.

Phenomenal !!

Where do I start! Brian and I had DJ Magic Mike for our wedding and if I had to put his work into two words it would be ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! From the start of the Barat to the last dance during the reception this man and his crew put their heart and soul into making sure the music was perfect and that everyone was having a good time on the dance floor. Not only that, he was punctual and he paid close attention to the details that we wanted in our music selection. He did a great job being MC as has a wonderful voice that engages the crowd. We loved how he got everyone involved with the event through his dhol player and his dancer. It helped the guests get into the zone even if they were shy to begin dancing! His experience in the field helped with playing all types of songs from old to new - something for everyone to get excited about at our event. We have gotten so many compliments about DJ Magic Mike since our event. Thank you so much for all your hard work and we will defintely be recommending you to our other friends as well as keeping you for our future events :)

We highly recommend Mike!

Mike was the DJ for our multicultural wedding on June 23, 2019, and he did a PHENOMENAL job!! In our conversations leading up to the wedding, Mike discussed several options with us and was not at all pushy about services. With this being the first wedding in both of our families, we greatly appreciated his suggestions. We added the mobile DJ cart for the Baraat and LED lights for the reception, which definitely helped set the right mood for the event!
Mike DJ’d for all of our wedding day events, providing upbeat Baraat music, classical music for the ceremony, and a mix of popular hits for the reception. It’s a surreal feeling when you have a list of songs prepared for walking down the aisle, cutting the cake, etc. and then when you actually hear the songs flow on your wedding day—just AMAZING!
Mike followed our schedule perfectly. We gave Mike a list of just 20 songs we love and let him pick the rest. Mike did an amazing job of playing a mix of Indian and American songs. He had every one of our guests out on the dance floor until the very last song of the night! Our guests continue to tell us they had the MOST FUN they’ve ever had at a wedding! We are so grateful to Mike for making our day so memorable!

Highly recommend

Mike was fantastic! My husband and I had a double ceremony wedding (Hindu and traditional western) on 7-20-2019. Mike did the music for our Hindu ceremony, along with our 2nd cocktail hour and reception. He had two dancers and a drummer with him throughout our reception and I’ve never seen so many guests dancing at a wedding before. I was so happy everyone was having a great time, and Mike did a great job combining popular American music along with Indian music to please everyone in the crowd. I had several questions during the days leading up to our wedding and Mike responded immediately whenever I contacted him. Highly recommend!

Magic Mike has been doing this for over 25 years and it shows in his music and knows how to handle a crowd. He knows how to get the crowd going. He did my niece's wedding and it was a blast. Magic Mike and his team are amazing- hands down. For my wedding, I contacted Magic Mike to see if he had availability and he was able to quickly confirm availability and give me a quote, no hidden costs, totally transparent. He was professional and responsive- exactly what you need when planning a wedding. For the wedding we had MC Neil and DJ Ravi- THEY ARE AMAZING. They truly made the party. Neil was thoughtful in learning about us and our families and incorporate that into how he ran the program. He brought so much energy to the room. Ravi was able to read the crowd so well, I had friends and family there that normally barely dance and they couldn't get off the dance floor. Do not look any further for a DJ, Mike is your guy! Front start to finish the music was flawless and fitting for each part of the wedding. Mike was so easy to work with, did everything we asked and even went above and beyond. Marrying into and Indian family I had no idea what this day was going to be like, it was the best day and it was because of the music. We had 2 weddings in one weekend (Indian then Jewish) and everyone had the best time on the Indian night. By the end of the night we had to pull people off the dance floor so the venue could shut down. Thank you to Mike for making this day every brides dream come true.

Magic Mike without a doubt is the best DJ out there for Indian weddings - I echo the reviews before me and do not hesitate to book! Like others Mike had DJ-ed at family friends weddings previously had he has the unique skillset that we have honestly never found in another DJ to blend cultures and seamlessly keep people on the dance floor from 8 - 80 across Indian & American cultures. He played music across the board and completely in line with who we are as a couple and what we are looking for. Mike is the one you want on your day - he was so professional in answering all of our questions, providing great feedback / lessons learned and was particularly fantastic with recommendations for the ceremony I would have been LOST without him! Thank you to Mike to keep us dancing from 9 am - 1am we could not have imagined a better experience!

DJ Mike and DJ Ravi (Goldy) made our wedding sound fantastic. Our feet are still sore from all the dancing. The music and the lighting were on point for all our events (Sangeet, Ceremony and Reception). Our guests (even the reluctant dancers) were on their feet partying all night. The playlist was a wonderful balance of Indian beats, Top 40 and Latin vibes. Mike and Ravi made all of our guests (Indian, non-Indian, young, old) feel welcome. While the events and execution were awesome, I also strongly recommend Mike as you plan your big day. He was very professional in setting up a introductory call, listening to my preferences, but also making adjustments throughout the night to make sure the crowd was enjoying the party. Highly recommend Mike and Ravi for your event.

My boyfriend and I recently attended a wedding at a Loft in Brooklyn. I was looking forward to it since it was a mixed Indian/Australian-Latin Wedding. I was looking forward to the event, as I am Indian with an American boyfriend. The Bride & Groom; Kalindi and Juan could not have come from more different backgrounds, so I knew it would be fun watching all the mixed cultural festivities. I have to say I was most impressed by the DJ. It turned out he has been a top Pro DJ for 25 years now, and his experience really showed. He literally fused together an Amazing mix of the latest party favorites, everything from Drake & Pitbull for the youngsters to Michael Jackson, 80's and Classic Disco for the adults. His selection of Latin and Indian music had both sides of the family singing out loud and coming together. The Brides Australian grandmother dancing with groom's Latin brother on some great Indian music was definitely a highlight. Mike was also an excellent MC who controlled the crowd and kept the energy and fun going all night. Mike had an excellent ballroom set up with the Dance floor lighting and Lounge furniture and great outdoor rooftop as well, which he was keen to point out to me. It was the Music was what made the night, even the bartender who said she had been doing this for 20 years, had never heard a DJ play such diverse and great mix of music. The Bride and her mom danced a lot, not sure if the Bride knew what was going on later in the night she was having such a good time. She was falling over drunk and had to throw up in bathroom for last hour and had to leave. But even without the bride there , he kept the families and friends going till the end. That is what really impressed me , Mike was not bothered by any problems at the event. He even had her dad and friends singing old Australian hits like Down Under late into the night. I know when my big day comes who to call first. So happy to have found him!

I had Magic Mike come all the way to India for my wedding-- wedding in Delhi, reception in Chandigarh. Him and I got on the same page regarding what I wanted, and he played exactly that. We have personally known Magic Mike since his pre-DJ days at St. John's University and have watched him grow into a known entertainer! He has always done a fantastic job of hyping up a crowd and keeping the party going all night! We were so happy to officially hire him for our daughter's Sweet 16. My husband and I were originally introduced to Mike’s work at a friend’s wedding 3 years ago – with their mixed cultures (her Armenian and he American) we were extremely impressed by his ability to integrate different types of music while keeping both sets of family and friends excited and on the dance floor. My husband and I are both American, but with his Israeli and my Dominican background we knew he would be the perfect fit for us one day. I immediately took down his information and when my husband proposed 2 years later he was the first vendor we called without hesitation. As any bride can attest to my nerves got the best of me as our wedding grew closer and I had hoped Mike and his team would be as good as I remembered. And as soon as our reception began, we immediately knew this was the single best vendor decision we made! Our wedding was beautiful, but most of all it was FUN. Mike and his team know how to read a room and get a crowd going no matter how diverse the group may be. We had all of our friends and family embrace the eclectic mix and danced all night long – he knew exactly what song to play and when to play it. I will never forget looking around the room and seeing every single person in the room seamlessly move from the hora to belting out Marc Anthony’s Vivir Mi Vida. In the days following our wedding the most repeated compliment we receive is about Mike and his team. We keep hearing “Where did you find that DJ?!” and “Wow, you guys sure know how to throw a party”! The reality is, we don’t know how to throw a party – Mike does! It was truly a union of two families that held through until the last song was played and it was felt by all of our guests. We cannot wait to recommend Mike and his team to every engaged couple we know!

We hired DJ Goldie, Bobby Dhol, and MC Vic from Magic Mike DJ's for our July 11th Fusion Indian-Russian wedding in Queens. We had a Baraat, Indian wedding ceremony, russian wedding ceremony, and reception all in one day. The whole team did a great job and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We got so many compliments on our Dhol player! And while we were initially concerned about a non-Russian DJ mixing Russian and Indian music, DJ Goldie (Ravi) did an outstanding job at keeping both sides of the family happy and on the dance floor the entire night. His dance sets and mixes were awesome and incorporated so many of our favorite genres and songs with very little guidance from us. Our MC was very professional and kept people excited and moving without being obnoxious or overbearing at any point. Overall, would definitely recommend Magic Mike DJ's to anyone wishing to have an absolute blast at their event!

Don't think twice about booking Magic Mike! He made our reception a wonderful, happy, fun event for everyone to remember! We have absolutely no complaints, and only tons of compliments about the awesome ambience he created with the rest of his team for our special night - and I think my husband and I danced pretty much constantly (along with a packed dance floor) for almost two hours straight, because each tune was better than the rest :) And we had a multicultural wedding (I'm indian, and grew up in the Caribbean, my husband is German), and Mike made an effort to represent all of our different types of music so everyone had something to relate to. Now we need to come up with another reason just to have a party so we can have him DJ again! Thanks again, Mike!

They are a wonderful team of guys that have a true passion for music and events! I highly recommend them! especially for fusion weddings! my wedding was south indian/african american fusion! they knew exactly what music to play from both worlds and everyone was always on their feet! Their host/MC Emir was wonderful! Magic Mike has played for every major milestone in my life, from my first birthday, my sweet 16, and most recently my wedding. There are no words to describe his genius. We trust no one else to successfully bring people together and keep the show going – my family is notorious for changing their minds last minute without communicating changes, and Magic Mike handles every second brilliantly. He is also single handedly responsible for bringing my husband’s Irish Family and my Indian family together through playing an instrumental version of DropKick Murphy’s I’m Shipping up to Boston. Our families loved the cultural integration Magic Mike brought to our wedding, that they created their own spontaneous dance to the song. To this day, any time the song plays, our families dance into action. Magic Mike is responsible for that – for creating an everlasting memory that simply will never die. He’s done it for us time and time again and he’ll do it for you. Trust no one else for your special moments. :)

We used Magic Mike and his team for our wedding events that spanned over 4 nights and him and his team were fantastic every night. Not only was the music he played great, he was also instrumental in arranging the more unique aspects of our wedding, such as the elephant and dholi drummer for our Barat. Magic Mike is the man. While we thought DJ'ing an Indian-Puerto Rican would have been difficult, he nailed it right on the mark. He met with myself and my wife on several occasions to go over the style of music and lighting we were looking for, showing numerous pictures and videos of his events as examples. He's a very patient and kind hearted down to earth guy who really took his time and effort well above what we expected. He knew exactly what to play and how to mix the various styles of PR and Indian music with some 90s rock and pop and current hits. A sort of mixologist for DJ'ing, this is the guy you want if you want people dancing from the very start of your event. The lighting and visuals he provides are high quality and up to date, all of which he set up perfectly. Since it was primarily an Indian wedding, there has a horse on which I rode in on. Magic Mike provided that as a service and let me tell you, that horse was no joke and as beautiful a horse as I could've asked for to ride to my soon to be wife. He also provided 3 belly dancers all of which were very professional and got people dancing very early into the reception. Later that year, we went to another wedding and was pleasantly surprised to find out that he was DJ'ing. It was just as amazing being a guest at a wedding he was playing at as it was being the bride and groom at ours. He even made a surprise appearance at the after party in the hotel! People still talk about how good the music was at our wedding. He's definitely played a major role in making our event a memorable one. The man clearly has a passion for what he does and it 100% shows in the quality of service he provides from start to finish.

Magic Mike was our DJ at our wedding in August and I could not recommend him more. We had an Indian ceremony but as my husband and many of our friends are not Indian, I was nervous about getting everyone dancing for the Baraat. Mike made sure that everyone was dancing and pumped up throughout the entire Baraat and continued that energy through the reception. Our guests are still commenting on how amazing the Baraat was and how it was the best music selection they've heard at a reception. More so, he was a pleasure to work with during the planning process. I highly recommended him for any wedding or event!

We hired DJ Magic Mike for our barat, wedding and reception at Westmount Country Club on May 2013. My fiancé had prior experience with him as his brother had also hired him for his wedding and reception a few years back. Based on their positive experience, we decided to meet with him to discuss our event.

One thing that separates DJ Magic Mike from all other DJ's (and we met with MANY DJ's) is his low pressure personality. He listens to your needs and never pushes more expensive or unnecessary packages onto you which ALMOST ALL other DJ's will do. He is very easy to get along with and very flexible which is so crucial especially as the big day approaches. We had an idea of exactly how we wanted our event to flow but Mike had also made some excellent suggestions in our planning to make the event flow even smoother.

However, no matter how friendly and easy going a DJ is, it doesn't mean a thing if the music is not up to par. And this is where DJ Magic Mike really excelled. We had given him a sample of certain songs we wished to have played and he did an excellent job mixing in our songs with songs our guests really enjoyed. We were dancing all night long and our guests raved about the music. Thank you DJ Magic Mike for a wonderful experience. I can honestly say this was the easiest decision of all my wedding vendors.

People were literally coming up to me afterwards saying that he singlehandedly made our wedding awesome. Based off a short list of songs we liked (wedding party intro music, first dance, cake-cutting), he was able to extrapolate this amazing playlist that got everybody up on the floor dancing for hours. He also was a deft emcee/host when needed. As the kid of divorced parents, i wanted to split my father-daughter dance, and do the first half with my dad and the second half with my stepdad, but my dad was balking at sharing the limelight. But Mike made the whole transition super smooth and everybody, even my dad, was happy with how it went. Mike has awesome energy, a very extensive song collection (he found this kind of obscure cover that we really like), and knows how to read a crowd. We had an Indian wedding so the music was a mix of American and Indian but i am sure he could do a great job DJing one or the other.

Magic Mike helped make our wedding truly unforgettable! During the baraat and reception, he brought with him a sensational and tireless dhol player who seemed to play effortlessly! During the wedding procession itself, Magic Mike played beautiful musical interludes that won the hearts of all guests regardless of age and nationality.

At the reception, Magic Mike's years of experience as an MC really shined . Speaking with passion and fire, he kept all segments smoothly moving along. He and his dj's kept the guests on the dance floor all night long! We liked the playlist he brought with him; it was a mix of Indian and American beats, old and new. We also felt heard and respected in our playlist choices.

The lighting on the dance floor was just right; it resulted in the most brilliant ambiance. Proof lies in our dance floor pictures; they came out perfectly.
We would highly recommend Magic Mike to anyone planning a wedding!

Dj Magic Mike is a true professional. Not only did he and his team brave the slippery roads of New York to drive to Florida for our reception. They did it all with a smile on their faces.

Mike is a seasoned DJ with the latest music and a flair for reading a crowd.

He had us dancing the night away. Now, one month after our reception, we have friends asking us, “Where did you find that DJ?”

We chose him and his team because we knew he had a great reputation and had a huge selection of Indian and Armenian music.

DJ Mike lent his services to our family 17 years ago for my sister-in-laws reception and there is no doubt Mike still knows how to move a crowd!

The banner and lighting he provided was also spot on with the tone of our event!

Mike is not only a great DJ, but MC as well. He introduced all of our family, our speeches and really kept the event flowing nicely.

We enjoyed having Mike and his team in Florida and would not hesitate to use him again for future events. Thank you for making our reception a night to remember!

DJ Magic Mike was spectacular!!! He Dj'd our mehindhi party, wedding and reception. He even stayed late after the mehindhi party to help the performances for the reception practice with the proper music.
DJ Magic Mike also was the MC for the reception. He was incredible, and managed to get everyone on the dance floor early. He also played music that enticed the entire crowd.
The lighting he provided was amazing. We used a separate lighting professional to light our mandap and unfortunately the lighting was not nearly as nice as Magic Mike's. Our venue was enormous and DJ Magic Mike provided the proper lighting for the entire room.
I would highly recommend him for any event, as he is a fun, entertaining and professional person.

We met with a lot of DJs, including a lot of prima donnas. Even though we met with Magic Mike and liked his confident laid back style, on a friend's recommendation we initially decided to go with a younger and 'hipper' DJ. Pretty soon it was obvious to us that the so called 'hip' DJ was all about himself and not about our wedding. We decided to ask Mike if he was still available to DJ our wedding and he was!

Mike was a great listener, gave us great ideas and very flexible. He showed up the day of the wedding on time and fully prepared. Mike kept the entire program on schedule and did not need any direction. We were totally hands off and he delivered just as you would want a great DJ to. The music was great and everyone was on the dance floor. We were really happy with our choice.

Update: Previously, we used Mike’s services for our engagement and had a blast! We booked the team again for our baraat/wedding/reception. Things could not have gone any better! All of our guests had a great time. DJ/MC Karan was awesome and his team had the party going all night; all of our guests (of all ages) were asking for Mikes’ contact details. My wife & I wanted the least amount of hassle & planning for our wedding & Mikes’ team, as always, did an excellent job & they knew exactly what to play, and when to play it. I first saw Mike perform about 15 years ago when I myself used to DJ on the side. He has grown his company into a group filled with talent, whose shear goal is to entertain. We’ll definitely be booking Magic Mike for our next event.

We signed Magic Mike for our engagement on 11/3. DJ Goldy did an amazing job, and the entire process was very stress free and Mike knew exactly what to do. All of our guests had a great time and have been inquiring us for Mike's contact details for future events. We're booking Mike again for our wedding/reception.

Magic Mike and his drummer Bobby Dhol were phenomenal!! Our Indian daughter married an American and the DJ persuaded the baraat to dance for 3 blocks along the streets of midtown Manhattan..it was amazing!! He provided the ceremony music for the Hindu wedding ceremony, and finally he had the whole party of guests of all ages one the dance floor except for the time they were eating dinner, or listening to a few short speeches. Mike is wonderful to work with, very calm, patient, and understands his dancing audience better than any other DJ we have come across.

Majic Mike and his team did an excellent job for my Indian wedding. We had them at the Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding ceremony and reception and I can honestly say that he elevated each and every event to a new level. Mike was easily able to get the crowd going, ensure that everyone is having fun, and played such excellent music. He also provided suggestions to make our event better utilizing music and the program to keep the party going and he was right! He kept the party going so well, that it went well passed our allotted time and he happily stayed until the last guest left well after 2 in the morning. He also provided lighting services to us that aided in the decor so well!

Not only was Mike and his team excellent at what they do, I could tell that they sincerely wanted to make my wedding the best that it could be. It wasn't about money for them, it was about the event. They are truly a service oriented team and I highly recommend them. In fact, we are using them again for my brother's wedding next year!

This was our second encounter with Magic Mike DJs. Our first meeting with them was at my brother in law's wedding 2 years ago- they were fantastic so we decided to use them for our wedding last weekend. They were more amazing than we remembered. They played exactly the music we loved. We didn't give them a complete songlist, but based on the few songs we listed, they were able to come up with a lineup that totally fit our personality. They totally were able to pinpoint our taste in music. Our Emcee was more than we could have asked for- he was lively, energetic, and sooo friendly. Our guests kept asking us if he were a family friend! He and our DJ really felt out the crowd, knew what music to match with each mood, and took total control of the atmosphere. We also had a dhol drummer during the night, and hyped up the crowd so much that they danced the entire night up until the end!. Thank you MAgic Mike DJs for making our wedding reception so fun and exciting!

Fantastic Wedding DJ

Magic Mike and his team DJ'd our multicultural wedding, including the Sangeet/Garba night at Main Street Station and our Baraat, ceremony, and reception at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA. He did an amazing job playing a mix of Indian, Reggae, Dancehall, and popular American music, per our request, and he did a wonderful job of hyping up the crowd, as well as reading the room. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long for our entire wedding weekend, and we got so many compliments about Mike's music selections and emceeing skills! The dhol player was also a great addition to our wedding. Mike helped make our wedding weekend really special. We would highly recommend Mike and his team for future events!

Mike was the DJ at my sister's wedding 16 years ago and it was a wonderful to have him at my own wedding in July 2017. He knows this business well, and knows what he is doing. Although I had some of my own ideas about what to do at my wedding, what songs to play, etc., on the day-of, I ended up going with Mike's recommendations and it all turned out better than my original plan. We had a cross cultural Swedish-Indian wedding and Mike delivered way beyond our expectations! All our guests from all over the world loved the DJ show and how Mike got the dance floor pumping. Everything from planning to execution was great! The only place I will give a 4 is for responsiveness but I guess I probably have higher than average demands due to my job.

We used DJ Magic Mike, specifically, for our mixed American and Indian wedding and were very happy with our choice! Mike kept the party going and both the photo booth and the Indian drummer were a hit! Overall, the experience with Mike and his team was fantastic and well worth the money. He was engaging with our guests and puts on a great show. The dhol drummer is a must-have! He did a fantastic job of drumming along to both the American and Indian music throughout the night without being over the top or just "noisy". I would certainly recommend Mike to others and use him for future events.

The only thing I would suggest is that you be very clear so as to avoid any confusion if you're a detail oriented person who is picky about the final outcome. There were a couple of minor issues at the event, but nothing that our guests realized, and nothing that would deter me from referring Mike to others. First, we had requested 8 foot projection screens, but for some reason, Mike thought we had wanted the smaller LED tvs (which are more pricey, but a smaller screen). Because the mistake wasn't mine, I refused to pay the additional cost for the tv screens he brought with him.

The second thing I'd note is that I had provided Mike with a list of "MUST-play" songs (in addition to "would-like-to-hear songs"). The must-play songs were sentimental to us or our family and friends. Unfortunately, many of the must-play songs were never played, which was disappointing because I had taken the time to compile a list. In the future, I would make it clear when passing over a list of songs that I expect that all the must-played songs are played.

Regardless of these minor issues, Mike was great and really helped make our night a good one. If you're looking for a dj (especially one that is wonderful at blending music for different cultures), use Dj Magic Mike.

Wedding Day

DJ magic mike was always prompt to respond to my emails which I valued so much in planning a wedding with so many vendors to keep tabs on. He was also really flexible which made it easy to work him and fit him into the venue needs. I actually planned a surprise for my wife during the wedding which required extra audio set up which I brought up to him maybe 3 weeks in advance and he was completely accommodating, was on top of it during the event and made it go off without a hitch which I am forever grateful for. His flexibility was key in that moment as well being tuned in and remembering/caring about what I wanted. Very easy to work with and he also brought a fantastic photobooth which was a major hit at our wedding. We also got multiple compliments about his song selection and it kept people out on the dance floor throughout the night.

Having Magic Mike & his team for our Sangeet and Wedding day was one of the best decisions we made! You absolutely cannot go wrong, look no further! DJ Magic Mike delivered amazing performances during our Sangeet, Wedding and Reception ceremonies at Sheraton Mahwah in August of 2016. Throughout the planning process, he was always available to go over song ideas and event itineraries. Mike has been in this business for decades and he never fails to impress our guests... Our family has used him for over 10 events and plan on referring him to anyone else looking for a DJ who will deliver an awesome show. He is able to understand what the crowd likes and tailor his songs to it. I believe this is one of his greatest strong points. His value is also unbeatable and he develops long term relationships and this is why we have gone with Mike for our events. We have also used Mike for some of our wall lighting, HD projector and live feeds and all were superb. He also helped us in finding our decorator, who had great setups. He was able to quickly address last minutes changes and problems. If you want a DJ who will impress your crowd and make your party something that people will not forget, go with Magic Mike!

Mike is an awesome DJ. He did a fantastic job at our son's wedding - both ceremony and reception. Everyone danced non-stop and had tremendous fun. The dholi was awesome - we did not want to stop. Our guests included young and old from all countries and ethnicities and everyone enjoyed thoroughly. The DJ and MC's were amazing. DJ Goldy was very knowledgeable of the new trend and music and spend a lot of time reviewing the agenda and made many recommendations..

Booked Magic Mike based on recommendation from my cousin and his experience with the group in NJ. Basic DJ set up for Mehndi night - music a little loud, but otherwise did a great job for what we were expecting. For the reception night, the extras provided by the group really were outstanding - the horse for the baraat, the doli for the bride's entrance, the uplighting, the dhol player/MC, and the photobooth. Sometimes did not respond to e-mail in a timely fashion, but could almost always be reached by phone. Thank you!

We hired Magic Mike Dj’s for our Indian wedding, including our sangeet, baraat, ceremony, and reception music. During the ceremony our dj did have to duke it out with a very close-minded priest who refused to allow him to play the music I had planned, but the crisis got resolved and I was able to walk down the aisle to my preferred song. Overall the djs were very professional. Our MC, Indio, was charismatic and taught everyone fun dance moves during the baraat and reception. During the ceremony I didn't like that he announced loudly over the mic for everyone to stand when I walked down the aisle (kind of spoiled the whole mood I had going).

However, at one point during the reception I looked around and realized every single guest under the age of 35 was on the dance floor, and then some. I wasn’t too keen on the idea of having an MC to begin with (I actually didn't hire one, but I think they added him on as a courtesy because our dj for the sangeet was an hour late), but in the end I’m glad we had him because he really brought the party. The music was great although it was entirely upbeat stuff (no slow or older songs for the older guests), but I noticed he did make sure to play several of our suggested songs during the reception. We also had the dhol player during our reception which was pretty fun although I don't think he played enough for the price we paid him.

Magic Mike, DJ Goldy, and MC AJ were all very professional. We had a mixed Indian / American wedding in July 2012 in Northern NJ, and they were able provide a good mix of music from both cultures. Also, they had good suggestions for music to be used during the ceremony. The MC sounded very professional and was able to get people to participate in the various activities on the dance floor.

Mike is disorganized, sloppy in his execution and very lackadaisical about the final outcome. It seems as if he does not listen to what clients want or request nor does he take accountability for his wrongdoings.
As a DJ, he is average at best. I do not think event planning is something he should boast about being proficient at. He overcharged us for the standard by which he worked and in addition did not even deliver what was asked for.

I would never recommend such a bozo of a DJ who could completely ruin an event. Definitely no magic here.

Beware you've been warned! I really wish I could give 0 stars on this one. As Mike has been in the business for 20 years and the glowing reviews on Yelp and Google, I made the mistake of booking him. Mike loves to march to his own beat and is extremely disorganized, ill-prepared, lazy, inattentive to details, unprofessional, outdated, and lackadaisical. While I was impressed by all of the vendors at my wedding, I was seething and cringing by Mike's countless mistakes.

Mike is highly skilled at mixing beats for Hindu/American fusion weddings and getting everyone to hit the dance floor. However, Mike caters to the crowd rather than to the bride and groom. There's "no magic", here are Mike's top 5 blunders which I confronted him at the end of my wedding night:

#1: Using an old schedule that was 2 months old! After 3 phone calls with Mike and sending him a few revised schedules based on feedback that he provided, he used the 1st schedule that I sent him with wrong bridal party names, songs, and times!

#2: Missing Cues/Repeated stepping of glasses. My fiancee and I are highly private people. During the reception, after a big frown and shaking of the head after the 1st stemming of glasses, Mike initiated and continued to round up the crowd for additional stemming of glasses.

#3 Announcing the grooms #3 Announcing the grooms name first and then the bride's name. A big no-no! "Peter and Aarti Pruitt". Mike believes in men first, even at weddings.

#4 Playing songs on the "Do NOT play list". I hate "Gangnam Style" with a passion. Not only did Mike happily play the song, but he refused to change the song when I asked him to! That wasn't the only one...

#5 Not taking full ownership. After confronting Mike about all of the blunders listed above, he kept deflecting and making excuses. Despite repeated emails and phone calls before the wedding, Mike was very ill-prepared and was "winging" it at the wedding with sheepish grins.
