Great service, great music!

Thank you Dave for making our day fabulous! He was nice, easy to reach, lovely to work with, and was gracious with last minute changes. I really appreciate how thorough he was with helping plan ceremony/reception- much more detailed than I had initially expected. He was also an excellent MC and kept the party going all night. We received so many compliments on his skills and politeness! Highly recommend!

Dave was amazing!

Dave was everything we could have asked for in a DJ! He did an amazing job at not only playing songs that anyone could dance to, but he was constantly engaging the guests and making sure they had a great time. Both my husband and I enjoyed our wedding so much, and we couldn't thank Dave enough for all of the work that he did!

Made our night amazing!

Dave was an absolutely amazing DJ for our wedding! He kept the flow of the wedding going from start to finish. There was never a slow moment. He also helped us during the day of the wedding by giving us notes as to what step would be best to line up events for the wedding. He was very responsive to our numerous questions leading up to the wedding. He was able to get the exact songs that we wanted. His professionalism was top notch. He kept us in the loop with where we were in the planning stage and his website kept us organized. 10/10 would recommend!

Dave does an amazing job and never misses a beat. He is always on top of the event and runs everything in a very smooth and professional manner. He is so busy yet he still makes time for the little people and is very generous. The level of care and attention to detail he gives each event is just right. He is not to over bearing yet helpful and attentive with helpful suggestions and support. He always makes sure to check in with you throughout the night to keep things on schedule and flowing properly. He is a well seasoned Emcee and can adapt to any type of event.

Dave and Magic City Productions are the best around

Dave with Magic City Productions was awesome to work with. He made the best night of our life even better. He helped with everything he could from song choices, to coordinating with other vendors, to helping us progress the wedding along in an effortless flow. Dave made the whole thing very personal. He talked with us about song choices for each event (cake cutting, father daughter dance, exiting the ceremony and reception, etc.) Any part where we couldn't think of the perfect song to play, we trusted him in picking it for us and absolutely nailed it. If you're struggling finding the perfect songs for your wedding, put your faith in him because he'll make it perfect. The sound quality was top notch. The music was clear and every speech or toast could be heard throughout the venue. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding, Dave with Magic City Productions should be at the top of your list. Thank you again Dave for making the night truly memorable.

Friendly, Responsive, and Quality

Dave was great to work with! He was responsive whenever I had questions/requests, and he did a fantastic job on our wedding day! The dance floor was full the entire night! We also really enjoyed the ability to create platlists and share them with him on his website.

The best dj

Dave is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding! Because of Dave, we had so much fun on our wedding day and everything ran so smoothly. He even took our exit photos for us and took videos of the guests having fun, which I loved looking back on these! Thanks again Dave for all you did for us!!!

10/10 Great DJ on a Budget!!

On time, even a bit early! Extremely professional, made me feel so at ease! Very organized! Wish they would’ve played more of the playlist we worked so hard on. Instead of songs that we didn’t necessarily want. But seriously. So high energy and kept the party going. If you hire these guys, you will not regret it! THANK YOU!

He just did a great job keeping the event fun!

I was so happy we found Dave with Magic City Productions. I needed a DJ for a Valentine's Day dance. I really didn't know what to expect but had high hopes. He exceeded them all. He took care of the announcing of the prizes, and the games I had planned, he just did a great job keeping the fun up. since that time I have had several people tell me who I should try for my next event and I say, "Nope, I have a guy."

Amazing Experience

My Husband and I got to work both with Dave and Zach at MCP. Dave helped us organize our whole ceremony and wedding music and Zach DJed our entire wedding day. Both gentleman were amazing to work with!

Zach was phenomenal! He played the best music for all ages. His song selection kept everyone from age 6-70 out on the dance floor! He was quick to keep the night moving smoothly, well organized and extremely personable. He kept the dance floor full and busy until the last song!

We could not be more impressed and happy with Magic City Productions and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of entertainment!

Our day ran smoothly because of Dave!

From our first phone conversation when booking, I was pleased to be working with Dave. He was flexible as we had to plan and re-plan due to COVID. Dave ran our entire day from the ceremony through the end of the night. He kept the entire schedule on point and running smoothly (ex. ceremony starting on time, facilitating grand march, releasing tables for dinner, speeches & dances, etc). We didn't even have to give him a timeline. He ran it all! We didn't have to worry about a thing!

Dave played all the music we wanted as well as incorporated similar music styles to keep everyone on the dance floor. There was a large group on the dance floor for the entire evening! We've had many people tell us it was the best music selection they've ever heard at a wedding! Thank you, Dave!

Dave was awesome! He was very helpful, courteous, and professional throughout the planning process and all the way through the clean up after our wedding. He read our guests perfectly - there was never a time where there wasn't a crowd on the dance floor! I highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Magic City for any event you are planning. They did a wonderful job at my daughter's wedding and everything went perfect. They are so professional and very willing to accommodate to whatever you need. I was also very pleased with how well they communicated during the planning phase. This is a five star company and I would book them as soon as you can.

Amazing! Organized! Professional!

We hired Dave to dj for our wedding, and we were so impressed. All of my guest were talking about how he kept the flow going, the organization he had, and the music he played. He also coordinated with our photographer in order to make the best of there time. Because of his experience and professionalism our wedding was flawless and just so much fun. Dave was also very friendly and personable. He was all that everyone was talking about after the wedding. We felt so lucky to have him and would highly recommend him for any event. Dave is fantastic! He was at our venue early and have music going at both locations when guests arrived. He is beyond nice and he is so organized and responsive! I had requested that a few songs not be played and when guests requested them he made sure to come get my approval before he played them. He was also quick to move some things around when dinner wasn't ready so we didn't have an hour if dead time! Please choose Dave for your big day, I promise you will not regret it.

Dave was AMAZING ! I didn't have to worry about anything all night. Music was awesome all night and the dance floor was always full!! He ran the whole reception while my husband and I got to dance all night and visit with family. Cannot imagine working with anyone else !

Dave was wonderful! He was so easy to work with and so flexible! I called him to change the order of things for the reception several times, and every time he just changed it with no complaint or irritation. He made sure our day was the way we wanted it. The sound system was amazing! We had an outdoor wedding and you could hear everything! No static or words breaking in and out. He played all the songs that we wanted and gave wonderful introductions for everything (i.e. first dance, parent dances, food, toasts, garter toss, bouquet toss) so everyone knew what was going on. It was such a blast! I would definitely recommend Magic City Productions for anyone who wants a great time and great sound! Thank you Dave, you were great!!

I would 100% recommend Dave and Magic city productions for any celebration you would need a DJ for. He was able to stay longer than expected keep things on track and play songs that would get people on their feet and dancing. We met with Dave before our wedding to go over the music and layout of the reception. He was very professional and was very insightful and knowledgeable, which made the process of deciding to do and not to do at the reception a breeze. Amy was our DJ for the night, and she did an outstanding job at my wedding. My husband and I both received many compliments throughout the night about how fun the music was and how great of a job the DJ did. She played the perfect music for our group-everyone had such a blast on the dance floor all night long! I would absolutely recommend true use of this company for any and all events.

Dave was recommended to me from Pat Clark, a veteran wedding planner in Billings. It did not take me long to discover why! Having to plan my wedding from 5 hours away necessitated most meetings to be done via email and phone but Dave was always flexible and never acted inconvenienced or impatient-even after emailing (likely painfully) specific lists for reception and ceremony! He was warm and friendly, telling me this day is special and he loves to add uniqueness and individuality to each wedding. He made everything go smoothly from toasts to dances and carefully navigated any hiccups, while also incorporating many fun dances into the night! I would recommend anyone having a wedding in the Billings area to hire Dave!!

Dave Austin was a great DJ. He was very professional, but he also made our wedding so fun. He did an incredible job at narrating our reception and keeping everything organized for us. Dave did a fantastic job orchestrating my daughter's wedding on June 14th in Billings, Montana. We had rain prior and up to the beginning of the ceremony, which was to be held outside, Dave was prepared to move to the reception facility for the ceremony to be moved. As it was God blessed us with a window of opportunity to proceed outside. He then moved to the reception and kept the "usual" things done and then rocked the balance of the reception with keeping people dancing till the end. Highly recommend Magic City for a wedding.

Dave was great to work with. His personality is why we picked him as our DJ. It was great to know the DJ we booked was the DJ that would be at our wedding. David did an excellent job DJ'ing and serving as the emcee for our non-traditional wedding reception.

Did a good job. Took a lot of requests from guests, which was appreciated. However, after the wedding we realized the anniversary dance never got announced/played (not a big deal though). The guests enjoyed the music, there was a good variety. Thanks!
