We had the pleasure of providing music for a wedding at the Four Seasons and I literally gasped at the sight of the gorgeous cake! We heard all night how amazing it tasted as well, so we tip our hats to the pastry chef artists! We see a ton of wedding cakes and theirs was truly stunning! -

We were blown away by the flavors of our cake and the execution by Zara. She is absolutely wonderful to work with and a delightful partner. We loved her flavors and the cake was delicious! No hard fondant and the cake was perfectly balanced and not too sweet.
Everyone at our wedding raved about the beautiful design, the colors, and most of all, the flavors. We had a destination wedding so unfortunately, we couldn't take it home with us but we savored every bite!
Zara is kind, accommodating, so talented, and made the process so easy. We're grateful to have found such an amazing partner for our wedding. She is a treasure and we would choose her a hundred times over!

Delicious and beautiful
Zara did an amazing job on our cake. I want a smooth, simple cake but above all I wanted the cake to taste amazing and it did! She had so many unique flavors to choose from we came up with a fun and delicious combo. -

Zara is wonderful to work with and her cakes and cookies are delicious!! Zara made my wedding cake in Santa Fe and a batch of Mexican Wedding Cookies that I used in welcome bags for my guests. Everything was delicious and so beautiful. I highly recommend Zara and Maggie's Cakes for your wedding! -

Zara of Maggies Cakes was so easy to work with from the beginning. I appreciate her patience in working with our design ideas, or lack thereof rather. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and she worked to create a gorgeous desert table. I loved the cake tasting experience and learning about her passion. I totally trusted her with her art and her delivery. I would happily recommend her again. -

Most delicious cake
We had already hired our venue and went to an open house there. I think there were 3 differ cake vendors. Two were okay and would have done well enough. Then we tried Maggie’s. Hands down the best. We tried white, chocolate, & red velvet. Everyone was so delicious. I was so happy to get the word she was available to do our cake. Fast forward wedding day. The cake was better design was what I wanted and best of all the cake was just as delicious as I remembered. We choose white ( my favorite) and red velvet my husbands favorite. And even had some for breakfast the next morning though there wasn’t much left. Yummy -

Fabulous Adobe Wedding cake & Succulent Cupcakes
Zara with Maggies cakes does and amazing job and created the most beautiful adobe style cake and succulent cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. When we were forced to postpone the wedding due to Hurrican Harvey in Houston which nearly flooded the Bride, Groom and did flood some of the wedding party 2 weeks before the planned big day,, Zara was so kind to let us reschedule everything. Every detail from the cake to the beautiful artwork she created decorating was wonderful and I would highly recommend her (and already have to friends getting married in the Santa Fe area). We had only the small cake and a few cupcakes left - everyone enjoyed them so much. -

So glad I was able to have my cake made by Maggie’s cakes! Our first vendor fell through, and Maggie’s Cakes was recommended by my wedding coordinator. Zara was very accommodating, professional, and friendly- and the cake turned out beautiful! I chose a very simple design since it was so last minute, but she does gorgeous artsy and intricate cakes as well! I definitely recommend using this vendor, you won’t be sorry! -

I have never tasted a wedding cake that was not only delicious but beautiful as well! She is so innovative and responsive. I gave some input and she took off with it to create a stunning creation. We received so many compliments on how fantastic it looked and even more compliments on how decedent it tasted. She is truly passionate and I would recommend her for any occasion!

It was such a pleasure to work with Zara! As soon as I saw her website, I knew I wanted some of her cactus cupcakes at our wedding! We had a mix of those, some simpler cupcakes and a small cake for my husband and me to cut, in four cake/frosting flavor combinations. After looking at some of our wedding designs, Zara suggested stenciling some of my own artwork on the side of our cake, which was really fun for me, and made our cake feel totally unique. Zara delivered and set up the cupcakes herself at our venue, 35 minutes outside of Santa Fe in Chimayo. The display was so beautiful and the flavors we tried were all delicious and our guests raved about them for their cuteness and great flavors. I feel so happy even now looking at photos of our vibrant cupcake display, which perfectly complemented our overall wedding design and vibe. Zara herself was great and the tasting was fun! It was a little bit tough to get in touch with her by email sometimes, but very easy to get her by phone, and when it came down to the week and day of our wedding, everything went perfectly. We strongly recommend Maggie’s Wedding Cakes by Zara! -

We loved working with Maggie's Cakes! She executed our vision for our cake perfectly- combining The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars imagery in pink and purple. She's creative, and the cake was delicious! There were a couple of moments leading up to the wedding itself where it took Zara a little while to get back to us, but it never interfered with our timeline, and she was so responsive and sensitive to our needs, even in the midst of moving her business! I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again! -

We had a great time at the tasting and she even made a special cupcake for my dad since it was his birthday. I requested a geode cake and I have to say she delivered and exceeded expectations. It was even better than pinterest! I would absolutely recommend using her for your wedding day. She can make pretty much anything you want with great skill. Thank you Zara!!!!

Ronith Sent on 12/19/2017Zara created the wedding cake of our dreams! We wanted a semi-naked cake, decorated with beautiful fruit and flowers. Not only did it look elegant and beautiful, but it was delicious.
Since we were having a destination wedding in Santa Fe, we relied on recommendations and everyone we spoke with said Maggie's Cakes was the best in town. Everyone was right!

When the other bakery in town closed its doors and Maggie's Cakes took on our request we were thrilled. Communication was below average as she was busy making cakes, BUT I feel businesses should have an extra person for customer care. The cake was delivered and looked somewhat like what we requested just based off of what we saw on the website and the price our cake looked like an afterthought. The cake we tasted on our top tier was dry and not very good. We were pretty bummed as most reviews claimed how great the cake tasted and looked - we got neither. Zara seems like a really nice person but we didn't get the WOW factor with our cake sadly.
