  Steve and Maggie captured our wedding so perfectly! From the moment we booked them to the very last moments of our wedding, they were nothing but amazing and personable. They made everything so smooth for us and captured all the priceless moments. They were the only photography company that didn't put a limit on how many hours they captured for our big day!

  Amazing! Went above and beyond! Best decision!

  Photos are very important to me and my family so this was a decision that I researched and agonized over for a couple weeks. I looked at over 100 photographers in the greater Houston area and none of them seemed quite right. Once I found Magek Photography with Steve and Maggie and met with them I knew that we had found our photographers and I knew it would turn out great.
  They do unlimited hours throughout the day so you are not charged by the hour and do not feel rushed. They showed up early and stayed late so they could get as many pictures as they could. They made us and everyone else feel comfortable. They were professional and great to work with. A lot of my guests made comments about how nice Steve and Maggie were. They are a great team and got photos from every angle and every photo we wanted. They were great about my long list of photo requests too and worked well with all of the other vendors and venue. They also take pride in the quality of their work and have great equipment. They also had some help and were able to get video for us for a great price.
  ABOVE AND BEYOND: At the end of the night we found out that my grandfather's wedding ring had fallen off at some point in the night. They went through hundreds of photos and pinpointed the 30 minute window where my grandfather lost it (during dinner). They even helped dig in the trash and crawled on the floor to help find it. It was eventually found in the trash luckily, but I will be forever thankful for them going above and beyond. They truly care about their clients.

  Magek Photography were above and beyond my expectations!

  Magek photography took beautiful pictures of my son’s wedding! They had original ideas for photos as well as taking candid pictures of the wedding guests. They offer a photo booth with several prop options that the wedding guests loved! Besides the beautiful pictures, Magek Photography offered priceless guidance throughout the wedding ceremony to ensure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend Magek Photography.

  Magek Photography did a great job!

  I would highly recommend Magek Photography for your next wedding. They are very professional and friendly. They made my son and his bride feel so beautiful, comfortable and relaxed. The photographer was never overbearing and took pictures of the event respectfully, without getting into people's faces. The group photos were amazing. The photos of the wedding were spectacular.   Absolutely Amazing

  Our experience at our wedding with Magek Photography was absolutely amazing. Not only did they take fantastic pictures but they helped us so much along the way with what they thought worked best. We could ask them any question not even about pictures and they would give their expert industry advice. Further they were easy to communicate with and their website is so easy to use! Every single one of my guests said how nice they were and we could not have been happier.
  
  PS: GET THE PHOTOBOOTH!! They recommended it to us and we came out with a bunch of awesome additional photos of our friends and family and it occupied the kids for hours! Great idea

  Absolutely amazing!

  Steve and Maggie were beyond everything I ever expect for wedding photographers. I never had to worry if we were getting certain shots, they were on top of it the WHOLE time. They were extremely professional and personable, they truly take pride and care in their work, and also in you. They treat every wedding as if it were their own daughters and you can see that in the photos. Not only did they photograph, but they also helped with scheduling and timing of things and gave their expert opinion on what looks best/works best in different aspects of the wedding. I could not recommend them enough.

  Absolutely amazing!!!!

  This married duo was so beyond what we expected!! They did such a wonderful job with our wedding photos, and we love them all. I would recommend them to any and everyone!! They were quick to reply to every phone call or text!! I am not the best when it comes to keeping a decent smile on my face-but they absolutely killed it!!!

  Beyond Amazing

  Maggie and Steve were great!!! Everything from start to finish was great!!! I love the fact that they offer a variety of customizable packages!!!!! For us it was a little last minute choosing a photographer but I’m glad we waited and chose Magek Photography!!! As a bride they made the whole experience stress free and very relaxing!!! They actually became family close to the end of the reception!!!😊 They’re work was great quality and beyond what we expected!!

  Great photographers!

  Steve and Maggie photographed our wedding on January 12th. From the moment we met them, we knew they were going to be our photographers. We were impressed with their pictures and they were personable.
  
  On the wedding day, they showed up on time and took great pictures! My parents still talk about how impressed they were with Steve and Maggie.

  Maggie and Steve were absolutely amazing! They are so down to earth, understanding, and made us feel super comfortable both during our engagement photos and our wedding.   Love them!

  Maggie and Steve are the best! They make you feel comfortable in front of a camera even if it’s not really your thing. They’ve been doing this awhile and think of every detail in advance. Not to mention the pictures came out georgous! I love them and can’t get enough! My sister is even thinking about using them for her wedding as well!

  The Best Choice!

  Steve and Maggie are amazing to work with! They are very funny, easy-going, attentive, and personable. I had so much fun taking pictures, despite tending to be insecure about things like that. Throughout the planning stages, they were always available and prompt when answering questions, and when bad weather came in to ruin the day, they transitioned into a back-up plan seamlessly. Their wealth of experience made us feel like we were always in good hands, and the pictures came out beautiful! I loved seeing pictures of the major moments as well as the small details that I missed (like the cake and table settings prior to guest arrival). If you're looking for affordability that doesn't come at the expense of quality and a positive experience, I promise you that Steve and Maggie are the perfect team. I am recommending them to all of my friends!

  Couldn’t ask for more

  From someone who hates there picture taken they made me feel comfortable. One of my favorite things is that while we were getting ready they didn’t make us feel like we were getting our pictures taken. I honestly forgot they were there . They let us be us . My now husband and his friends are huge goof ball and they just let them be. They also got us a family picture with my husband huge Cuban family which was a task by itself. They understood how much my kids mean to us and made sure to get a lot of pictures of them. My father passed a few years before the wedding and made sure that I had some special picture with a picture I framed of him. They have answer ever email before and after with an hour and also helped to keep me on a timeline before the wedding. I could go on and on about how amazing they are

  Perfect team!

  My husband and I love Steve and Maggie!! I had first heard of them because they were my sisters photographer at her wedding so when I saw my sisters pictures and worked with them in the past I knew I wanted them for my wedding.
  I had my bridal shots which were returned super quick and they were fantastic! They are super fun and they have great ideas for different pictures! Their attention to detail and creativity is perfect! We couldn’t have had a better team to capture of wedding for us!

  Steve and Maggie, are very professional. Almost all our pictures came out flawless. They are also very relatable and friendly. They devote 1 whole day to you unless all the other photographers who are charging unreasonable amount for 6 hour visit. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

  Magek Photography is AMAZING! Maggie and Steve are very down to earth, friendly and willing to do anything they can for the bride h groom ( including driving to Matagorda for engagement pictures )

  Magek was the photographer for my son's wedding in June, 2018. I personally do not like having my picture taken. They did an excellent job of catching me in the most beautiful way. I CANNOT say anything negative. If you want a professional and friendly photograher i 100% recommend Magek

  Magek photography was wonderful! From the very first meeting with Steve and Maggie, I knew that we would have a great experience. They listened to what we wanted and didn't want. They gave us some great thoughts and suggestions. They sent us a checklist to help us make sure we got all the shots we wanted. On the day of our wedding, they were totally awesome! They made us feel very comfortable and so our shots came out looking very natural. During the ceremony and reception, I barely even noticed that they were capturing such awesome photos. Magek is very reasonably priced and Steve and Maggie are total professionals. Our pictures are beautiful!!!

  Family, Friends and Fun--that is the experience my daughter and her fiancé wanted captured in their wedding photos and Magic Photography helped them to achieve their goal. Steve was so professional and very conscientious about getting any photos we may want. He was able to capture the laid back feel of the ceremony and reception, and so many photos to choose from--could not have asked for a better experience with a photographer. Steve and Maggie also took their engagement photos in downtown Houston and did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend this wonderful team .

  We LOVEDDD Steve and Maggie! They are such pleasant and professional people. From the time we met them, they were nothing but easy to talk to, and straight-forward. Their website and prices are also very straight-forward, which was great because it is a pain to call vendors and get quotes, which is how most people are.
  Maggie checked in with us through the months approaching the wedding, was proactive with getting and giving required information. Ours was an inter-cultural marriage, which means a very long day. Steve and Maggie were with us from before 7 am on our wedding day, to at least mid-night. They were smiling, taking pictures, and were one of our constant support throughout the day. Our guests loved them too, and everyone had great things to say about their professionalism and personality. And that's not all, the pictures turned out to be AWESOME! Everyone loved their work. We can't be happier to have chosen Magek photography to cover our special day. We actually miss them!

  I absolutely loved Steve and Maggie. They are very professional and kind. My husband and I were relaxed and comfortable around them which made it so much easier to capture real, natural moments. They did an amazing job capturing all the details of the wedding day and coming up with unique ideas for the engagement photos. Steve and Maggie are also reasonably priced and it doesn't take away from the quality of their work. They captured this wonderful time in our lives perfectly! Great experience and great pictures!!!

  It’s hard to put into words what a pleasure it was to work with Steve and Maggie. I️ think the best part of the whole experience is that it felt like working with someone we’ve known forever. We originally met them while they photographed another friend’s wedding. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I had been searching for a quality photographer for our own wedding this past October and we’re so excited when we met Steve and Maggie. From the moment we committed to Magek Photography, we were completely taken care of! They are extremely detail oriented, accommodating, patient, friendly and so much fun to work with!! They edited our photos in a timely manner and they turned out better than we could have ever imagined! You’d be CRAZY not to work with these fine people!   Steve and Maggie are absolutely incredible to work with! From my first phone call with Maggie I was totally at ease , you can tell they really love what they do and want to make your day amazing.
  My wedding was exactly 2 weeks after hurricane Harvey made landfall in Houston so it was extremely scary and stressful time for us. Maggie and Steve answered every question and email I sent and helped find me a new officiant when mine bailed a week before the wedding.
  Day of the wedding Steve arrived on time and jumped right in. He was such a pleasure to work with, he had so many great tips and tricks that helped so much! Our friends and family are still talking (over a month later) about how impressed they were with Steve.
  We will definitely be calling Magek Photography for our future photography needs!

  I hired Maggie and Steve on the recommendation of the staff at my venue, and they were right! Maggie was my photographer (along with her daughter on the day of) and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was so helpful before the wedding, answering all of my questions and making sure she had a list of all of the shots I wanted. And on the day of, she got a lot of great photos without being in the way of anything! I received my edited photos 3 weeks after my wedding and they are beautiful. They really capture the magic of the day!

  Maggie and Steve are so amazing! They played a BIG part in mine and my husbands special day. From the moment we met them at our engagements, to the very last minute of our wedding, we had the best experience with them. They are so accommodating to our needs and wishes and they even will work with you until you are the happiest person. Now that our wedding is over, we just got our photos and they are beyond awesome. They have an awesome website where you can download your photos to your computer and an option to order your prints.   Magek Photography made our wedding day wonderful! Their experience and knowledge of the field made the dynrun smoothly and helped me relax and enjoy the day.   Steve and Maggie did an amazing job at capturing all the details of the wedding day. They got there in the morning while we were getting ready and stayed all the way to the very end. We couldn't have ask for more. They also did the engagement pictures and bridal pictures and were very flexible with locations and times. All pictures were absolutely stunning.   Hands down Maggie and Steve are truly a dream team! This amazing couple actually did the photography for my best friends wedding and I just fell in love with their pictures and with them. Maggie is so good with anything close up. She has a way of making the photo intimate and romantic. Steve is fantastic at the "big" picture. He makes the scenery, environment, lighting, everything really work for the bride and the couple. 5 stars for this dynamic duo! They're attentive, personal, funny, and truly do a wonderful job at creating wedding memories to last a lifetime. I've been told time and time again that photographers are perhaps THE most important thing you can get for your wedding day and I highly recommend Maggie and Steve.

  We absolutely loved Steve and Maggie. We met them through unforeseen issues 3-4 weeks before our wedding and it was the best thing that could have happened. When we first met them we sat for 3hrs talking and getting to know them. We did not expect that to happen. On the day of the showed up and went straight to the bride to start taking pictures. They took care of both myself and bride-to-be by helping us calm our nerves and talk to us. During the ceremony they helped keep everyone away from us so we could setup to begin and also took wonderful pictures. They gave DJ instructions to announce pictures with bride and groom after ceremony and Maggie helped control the flow of the line. We gave them an itinerary for family photos and it worked out great. They are very professional. They helped our guest take photos with cellphones and even shared lighting setting with them, which made our guests very happy. They were there with us every step of they way, by our side. Steve helped mediate the flow of issues or questions coming towards us. Not enough words could express how pleased and happy we both are to have had them as our photographers.

  The word 'amazing' does not seem to do justice to these photographers. They calmed the bride, cleaned her dress when something got on it, got the groom a drink to ease his nerves, cued the DJ for music when he wasn't playing any, and even helped clean up at the end of the night. If they could help, they were on it. And to boot... they took incredible photos ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG.
  
  AMAZING! We were so impressed as family of the groom, we got contact information and plan to use Magek Photography for our future events. These people are worth EVERY PENNY!

  Magek Photography is the best! They shot our wedding as well as our engagement pictures, and we couldn't be happier with them! At first we thought that we were going to be super awkward and weird during our engagement shoot, but Steve talked us through everything and made us feel so comfortable and we had a blast. Maggie was so patient and helped us sort through which packages worked best for us, ordering, answering a million questions etc. and she even re-bustled my dress during the reception when someone stepped on it and busted it! Above and beyond for a photographer. Highly recommend!

  My wife and I were married last December. I have never enjoyed having my pictures taken, so this was the part of getting married that I was the most nervous about, honestly. Steve and Maggie really were amazing for both our wedding day and our engagement pictures. All our pictures turned out really well, and both my wife and I were very happy with them.   Magek Photography did both my engagement photos and my wedding photos. Neither my husband nor I are typically photogenic, so we were both somewhat nervous walking in to our engagement appointment, which we did at Hermann Park in downtown Houston. Steve and Maggie are amazing to work with; they kept everything light and casual, and made both of us very comfortable within the first few minutes. Our engagement shoot went SO well, and our pictures were perfect. It really took the stress off the wedding day.
  Steve and Maggie handled our wedding day so well. We got married at Butler's Courtyard, a venue that they are very, very familiar with. They really helped everything smoothly, and even though we got behind schedule due to our makeup and hair stylist running an hour ad half late, they were able to get all of the important shots that we wanted. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out!
  
  They were both very quick to respond to any emails and even texts, even when I felt that I was asking ridiculous, stressed out bride questions. They were super flexible and understanding when we had to repeatedly reschedule our engagement shoot. I would recommend them to anyone.

  I was extremely pleased and impressed with Magek Photography. They caught every single moment of the entire wedding event that we can relive again and again through the sequence of pictures. They took plenty of the usual formal portraits, but also readily accommodated our requests for additional extended family shots. We loved the "action" shots of the reception. There were photos of all our friends and family that attended, capturing the funny or touching moments of the evening. Thanks for a great job!

The staff where we were getting married were nice, but without Steve and Maggie our day would not have been nearly as magical.   I had a close friend refer me to Steve and Maggie. At the time we lived in Austin, looking for a photographer in the conroe area. Steve and Maggie drove all the way to Austin to do our engagement photos and then drove to conroe from the Houston area to shoot our wedding. We had our engagement photos and wedding photos just a few weeks after the events. Our photos are gorgeous and they even did a few custom photos for us. We also had a photo booth through them that was AMAZING!! They had so many props, the pictures were fantastic and everyone loved it! We did not have a time limit for either of our shoots. They showed up for the wedding at 10am and didn't leave until 11 that night. I would refer them over and over again and I will continue to use them for all of our future events.
  The price we paid included unlimited photo time, DVD copies of our engagement and wedding photos, photo booth (with unlimited photos), 2 free huge prints of a picture of our choosing, as well as us making a few things difficult for them and they did it anyways! They were awesome!!

  Steve and Maggie were the best!! From the engagement shoot to the pre-wedding to the ceremony and reception, they excelled in everything. They took photos of everything, I don't remember a time when they weren't snapping shots. They both have great personalities and are willing to work with you to give you what you want and make your special day all the more special. I really wanted to make sure that we had photos with my motorcycle and Steve rose to the challenge with some spectacular photos. I would give them 500 stars if I could.   Maggie and Steve of Magek Photography are seriously the best. Not only did our engagement and wedding pictures turn out incredible, everyone at our wedding was telling us how amazing they were. They got all the shots during the wedding and reception without being obivious.
  They are great to work with, kept everything flowing pretty quickly and are great people in general. Great sense of humor. Seriously, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

  These guys were EXCELLENT! I have never used a professional photographer until my wedding day, so I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous that it would be really awkward and weird and the pictures would come out with us all looking so fake. These guys knocked it out of the park! They captured moments for us that I had no idea they were even there to see! Very professional, very patient, reasonably priced, and we received tons and tons of photos to look through once we got them. If I were to ever get married a second time, hopefully not ;) but we would choose Magek all over again without hesitation! Thank you guys for capturing our special day!

  My fiance and I met with and interviewed countless photographers. It is such a big investment, and it was important to us to find the perfect person to capture our day. We spent hours reading reviews, and finally we came across Magek. Every single client spoke highly of them and after our meeting with Steve, we knew right away he was the guy. Him and his wife are so down to earth and made us feel comfortable from the firs visit. Our biggest selling factor was that their wedding day services included UNLIMITED hours. Not having to worry about how long we needed a photographer to be on site the day of was a huge relief off of our shoulders. Also, we got the rights to all of our pictures. This is a huge benefit! After each of our sessions Maggie would send us a CD with our complete session on it.
  
  I purchased an engagement, bridal and day of services from Magek. I highly recommend doing a session with the photographer, no matter who it is, before the day of. It really makes you bond with them, feel comfortable in front of the camera, and it really makes the wedding day go super smooth! Steve and Maggie had our family shots, and couple shots done within 30 min-45 min so we could go enjoy our party. (and we had A LOT of family!) Steve captured some amazing photos that we will hold on to forever. My favorite would be when he set up a really cool shot, he would take the picture, look at the camera and say "wow, that is so beautiful!."
  On a last note, they were so responsive with my emails, calls and texts. There were numerous occasions where questions would come up and I would have a response within a day! That is a huge sign of professionalism to me. I had several vendors that were hard to get a hold of and I never ever had a problem with Magek. They were there for me every step of the way, and I will continue to use them in the future! Don't waste another second, meet with Steve and Maggie!

  My sister-in-law and brother used Magek Photography for their wedding and we knew we wanted the same great service and prices. Words can't describe how pleased we were with Maggie and Steve's photography for our engagement and wedding. Due to time constraints, we weren't able to visit all of the photo locations for our engagement session in one Thursday afternoon. Maggie and Steve gave us the opportunity to have another engagement session on a Saturday, free of charge. They are so talented and made each session very enjoyable. My family and friends would not stop talking about how great they were during our wedding. We were so busy during our reception to even think about what pictures we wanted, but Maggie and Steve worked there magic and took incredible photos we didnt even plan on taking. I highly recommend Magek Photography!!! They even recommended Bella videography, which we were very please with as well.

  We found Magek Photography through Wedding Wire. We were impressed with the photos located in the gallery - the photos were beautiful.
  
  Maggie remained in touch with us during the engagement to inquire if we have any questions. Prior to the wedding, she inquired if there were any specific requests that we had.
  
  Steve and their daughter both photographed the wedding and reception. They were very friendly, professional and ensured we were pleased with the photos they were capturing and asked if there were any specific requests.
  
  Steve and Maggie were very prompt in their responses to our inquiry post-wedding. The online viewing gallery was available shortly after the wedding. They captured the beauty of the wedding and the fun at the reception.
  
  We are continuing to work with them now as we select our photos for the album and for print. They are very accommodating and wants to make sure we are pleased with the final product.

  Very nice people to work with. Got my bridal pictures up quick and was able to give me the portrait two days before the wedding (since we were indecisive). Focus is on what the bride wants and how to make the pictures look beautiful.

  Maggie and Steve are the BEST photographers you can find in Houston. I interviewed 9 photographers and I was absolutely charmed by Maggie at our first meeting. Not only did they have the best package available, they went over and beyond to exceed our expectations. We purchased the package with the engagement session and unlimited wedding day shooting. We had a blast at our engagement shoot. They are very creative, extremely professional and just a fun couple to be around. I had a dream to have engagement pictures with a sunset on the beach...Well, there was a small problem...the sun is rising over the water in Galveston and sets over the bay. I could not believe it when Maggie and Steve agreed to do a shoot at 5 am on the beach to make my dream come true. You will not find anyone like them in Houston. Trust me :) Our pictures turned out amazing and we got so many compliments for our "save the date".
  The wedding day pictures are just gorgeous! Maggie was brave to shoot a first look and outside ceremony even though it looked like it will start pouring rain any second. And the rain started just minutes after we got inside :) And they changed the colors on the pictures a little, so it looks like we had a ceremony on a perfect sunny day :) Due to the rain I didn't get many pictures with just my husband and I on the beach and was very upset about it. Maggie is truly an angel and she offered to have a small session off season to capture just me and my husband.
  I am so happy I found Magek on this website and chose them as our wedding photographers. They are absolutely the best you can imagine! I will definitely recommend them for anyone looking to capture their special moments! I am definitely a customer for life :)

  Steve and Maggi are a dream come true. Not only are their photos amazing, and really capture the tone your special day; but they are so nice to everyone they photograph. We had a large family, possibly some hard to handle, but they proved to be cordial and organized enough to handle our large, loud family. Our wedding pictures are more than what we dreamed them to be. I'm so glad I choose Magek Photography.

  This husband wife couple is wonderful! We were blessed to have them photograph our daughter’s wedding. They captured the day perfectly. Nothing was missed.   Magek photography is amazing! Maggie and Steve are so much fun to work with! We had so much fun shooting our engagement pictures and had a blast with them at our wedding!
