Amazing Hair, Makeup, and Vibes
Madeline did both my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She did an incredible job and brought great vibes to getting ready. I asked for a subtle glam with coverage and she delivered it exactly. I got compliments on my hair all night. I was caught in the rain and hailstorms and my makeup and hair held up! I could not recommend her more.Madeline McCue Makeup's reply:

Madeline is an artist!!!
Madeline did a phenomenal job on our makeup, and Julie absolutely crushed the hair. I felt beautiful and comfortable the entire day and didn’t fuss with my face or hair once, which is exactly how a wedding should feel.
What mattered just as much was seeing how confident everyone else felt. Every person Madeline and Julie worked with looked like themselves, just elevated, and genuinely loved their final look. After seeing firsthand as a bridesmaid how stressful it can be when professional hair and makeup goes wrong, I don’t take that for granted.
She made us feel beautiful, listened to what each person wanted, and gave us one less thing to think about on the wedding day. Her price was more than fair for the final product. I couldn’t recommend her more!!!Madeline McCue Makeup's reply:

I hired Madeline and her team for my wedding, and it was a great decision! We did a bridal hair/makeup trial a couple of months before the event, which allowed us to take my look from great to perfect. She's a positive presence to have in the room on your wedding day, gets along great with everybody. Aleka came along for the wedding day and did a fantastic job with everyone's different hairstyle requests. Madeline's approach is to give you a long-wearing makeup look that enhances your natural beauty. I would hire Madeline and anyone on her team again in a heartbeat!Madeline McCue Makeup's reply:

I’m so glad we went with Madeline’s group for our wedding beauty needs. Bonnie and Daniella did a FANTASTIC job and were so wonderful to work with. Everyone was very pleased with their finished look and last minute they were able to squeeze my cousin in who decided she wanted to join. I showed Daniella an inspiration photo and she took it from there. My hair looked the best I’ve ever seen. Bonnie did an amazing job of giving us a polished look of ourselves. Thankfully, my soon to be fiancée’s best friend informed me that the surprise engagement would include a photographer! At age 62, I had less than a week to hire a make-up artist and hair stylist in Santa Fe on Christmas Eve- yikes! I am so lucky that Madeline was not on a film shoot and quickly answered that she could do both in less than 2 hours’ sitting time! She was right on time to my room at Bishop’s lodge. She inquired about my needs, dress and style, and then became creative! She even created me a personal lipstick color which I lost in my excitement, so not pictured, but appreciated!
When I asked for slightly more dramatic eyes, she was quick to apply just the right amount. We laughed as she remembered that the definition of dramatic is different to Texans. She was an absolute pleasure to talk with and gave me a ton of skincare tips, too.
Hair-wise: Madeline looked at a few of my formal hair pics from the past and asked what I liked about certain ones. Then, before you know it, my hair was pulled back on the sides and perfectly curled. I was blown away when I saw the back of my hair in the engagement pics.
I strongly recommend Madeline’s Magic (which I think should be the name of her company) for both hair and make-up. If you can get a spot on her busy calendar, you will be so thrilled with the results!

Madeline was incredible to work with. She is fun, calm, and made me feel so comfortable. She was able to do my hair and makeup exactly the way I wanted it for my wedding - better actually! I wanted to look like myself - not overly done up - and what she did was beyond ANY expectation I had. I wish I had taken some pre-wedding photos but in the rush of everything I didn't. You cannot and will not go wrong having her do your makeup and hair. I have to make a side note... many cosmetologists can do your makeup, but you deserve a makeup ARTIST like Madeline for your big day.Madeline McCue Makeup's reply:

Charlotte Sent on 07/07/2018Madeline did a wonderful job with my wedding hair and makeup. While I had sent her some hair photos ahead of time, I had not sent any makeup photos. She made me look great despite me not really knowing what I wanted. Her style is very natural, so great for people like me who don't wear a lot of makeup, don't like wearing it and want to look like ourselves in a photo (only better).
Madeline also fixed my aunt's hair that had been made a bit too poofy by another stylist, free of charge. She traveled from Santa Fe to Taos for my wedding, so that was also very convenient. I highly recommend her!Madeline McCue Makeup's reply:
