Magical cakes!

Lia made us the most beautiful and most tastey cakes for our wedding! I never thought I needed a wedding cake until I saw what she can do! Bob Ross vibes paired with some killer gooey butter squares are really all a girl needs on her wedding day!

Lia was so kind and helpful to work with. I placed a pretty late order relative to most wedding requests and was pretty clueless about what we wanted. She made it so easy and they turned out more beautifully than I could’ve imagined. I’m already excited to order anniversary cake!

Where to even begin?! Lia did both my bridal shower cake and wedding cake. I couldn't have asked for more delicious, beautifully/perfectly made cakes! She made sure every last detail was exactly how we wanted, her cakes were almost too pretty to eat (but who am I kidding, they are so yummy)! Lia is so sweet and easy to work with, professional, and definitely has an amazing talent! I can't wait to dig into the top of our cake for our one year anniversary! :)

Lia is an amazing baker and wonderful person. She exceeded all my expectations and was so great to work with. She is a total Pro. We went to visit her and she let us do a tasting of some of her finest creations. Lia made me three smaller cakes for my wedding since I couldn't decide on a flavor since they were all delicious. They not only were delicious and fresh but they looked spectacular. My wedding guests said the cake was best they've had.

My wife and I ordered our wedding cake from Made. by Lia and it was 1)stunning 2)delicious 3)simply an amazing experoence. The detail of the cake down to the taste was superior to others we looked at it or tried. Lia comes to the table with a blank page and draws out ideas as you speak to her; pleasant and enjoyable experience front to back. We are currently planning another cake with her for a birthday. Highly Recommended!!

Lia was our wedding cake vendor and she was amazing. We, like most couples, did cake tastings all across town trying to achieve a balance between taste and presentation. But with Lia no type of settling was required, she knocked everyone with both taste and presentation. Don't believe me with presentation? Look at her Instagram...taste? See her for a visit and you'll see why her heavy, rich, delightful creations are a gift from heaven. Highly recommend

We were able to have both a pie and cake from Made by Lia and they were delicious. The naked cake we requested from her was gorgeous and she was an ease to work with, especially considering that we were planning the wedding from out of town. We got so many compliments from our guests on the cake but they absolutely loved the pie, it was such a treat for them since they usually don't make an appearance at weddings. I would highly recommend Made by Lia for any event!

We used Lia for our wedding in late October. Lia was one of our favorite vendors we worked with! My husband and I could tell that she truly loves what she does, and puts that love in her cakes! It was so much fun meeting with her for our tasting and we loved working together with her on a design! The final product was STUNNING and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting us on the flavor. We had a naked cake with 2 flavors: vanilla with salted caramel and chocolate with chocolate ganache. It was incredible! Our taste test with Lia was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. Highly recommend!

Lia was amazing!! We had so many compliments on how beautiful and delicious our wedding cake and pies were! Seriously, it's 4 months later and people still keep bringing it up!!!!! She was very professional and had super cute cake/pie stands to rent from. Book her ASAP for you wedding or event !!!

Lia was incredible! From our cake tasting to our finished product, it was perfect. She surpassed my expectations by being able to do something different with our wedding cake, and it was gorgeous! She is easy to talk to, prompt and professional with her meetings and will surpass every expectation! We are still receiving complements about how delicious our cake flavors were. Lia was wonderful to work with. I am so glad to have found her on Wedding Wire! I loved that her cakes are all made fresh with no preservatives. The cake was absolutely fantastic. I only got one small bite because it went so fast :) I look forward to having her make our Anniversary cake in a year fresh!!!

Lia was amazing to work with! We provided her with a vague idea and let her run with it. In the end we were wowed by her creativity! Not only did she design a perfectly unique cake, but it was absolutely delicious!

I was able to send Lia pictures and ideas that I like and Lia was able to create exactly what I wanted. She made us a beautiful cake, cake pops and cookies that fit our theme exactly! AND the flavors were amazing!

I contacted Lia about 3 weeks before my wedding to inquire about getting a cake made. She responded immediately and said she had the date available. I am not a big cake eater myself, so all I really wanted was a simple design and went with a white cake with raspberry filling. I sent her a couple photos fro examples and she made me a wonderful cake that she personally delivered, and when I tried it during the cake cutting, it was delicious. I received tons of compliments from my guests on the design and taste.

As a wedding photographer, I've had lots of cake. Lia's cake was the most delicious cake I've ever eaten. It was gorgeous and I wouldn't hire anyone else!!

Lia was amazing to work with! I gave her some photos I found on Pinterest and she took the freedom and created a beautiful cake for us. The cake was delicious and we received tons of compliments on it! She even delivered it last minute for us which was a huge lifesaver.

The wedding cake that Lia designed for our wedding turned out absolutely stunning! I sent her two pictures of the designs that I wanted to incorporate into the cake and she replicated them exactly. The tasting with Lia was very helpful in the process of deciding which flavors of cake and filling to pick. The night of the wedding and afterwards we had many of our guests comment on not only how beautiful the cake looked, but also how delicious it tasted! I have recommended her to several of my friends getting married and when I ever need something made in the future I will definitely ask Lia!

Lia was incredible to work with from beginning to end. She is as sweet as her cakes are! I am obsessed with looking at pictures of my cake. It was stunning to look at and, equally important, every flavor we got was absolutely delicious. Lia truly helped make our wedding day absolutely amazing!

Lia did our cake and dessert bar (lemon tarts, gooey butter bars, 2 flavors of mini-cupcakes) and did an AMAZING job on all of it. Our guests LOVED the desserts and our cake was simple, beautiful and delicious - can't wait to thaw out the top tier for our anniversary in a couple of weeks!

Lia is the absolute best!! She designed and created our beautiful wedding cake for our March 21, 2015 wedding in Saint Louis. We had a vision of what we wanted and she made it happen and gave us a wedding cake beyond our dreams!! We received so many compliments of the design and taste from our wedding guests! She also made time to meet with us and deliver the cake to our reception venue amidst planning her own wedding. She is so incredibly sweet and wonderful to work with!!! We will definitely be using Lia again for future occasions!!!!

I can't say enough about Lia. She delivered the cake to a venue that was 2 hours away. It was beautiful!! It tasted wonderful and we had many compliments on it. She is a wonderful person and I would highly recommend her for any event.

Lia was awesome to work with. She is such a talented artist. Our wedding cake was everything we wanted and more. She took our vision and turned it into something more amazing than we could have ever imagined. Our family uses Lia for family parties and will continue to use her in the future. Lia did an amazing job! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was a huge hit. I had several people say they weren't a fan of wedding cake in general but they loved it! As a matter of fact, I got two texts from guests the next day asking who had made it. She made the whole experience great and I would definitely recommend her to anyone I can!

When my husband and I were planning our wedding cake, we went to three of what we considered to be the most popular bakeries offering wedding cakes services. We met with Lia last. And pretty much five minutes into our meeting, we knew that she was the best and she was the most perfect baker who really got our vision for what we wanted for our cake as well as the treats that accompanied. She was so creative and really listened to every detail to what we wanted. I wasn't sure if it was going to turn out as we had planned but it was even better! Not only did the entire treat table look amazing, but the flavors of the variety of treats were incredible. And so was the wedding cake. Lia is so talented. She not only created mini masterpieces of cupcakes, gooey butter cakes, cake pops and macarons that tasted even better than they looked but she set up everything on both tables even more beautiful and elegant than I could've ever imagined! She also created a football cake for the groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner, which turned out to be so cool. She was such a delight to work with and was more than accommodating for everything we wanted and worked with us to make changes along the way. We will definitely use her in the future!

Wonderful experience!

Lia was so flexible with all the logistics surrounding a COVID wedding, and we’re so grateful she could help us celebrate our marriage! She was creative with our suggestions and helped us pick the best options for our day. The cake and donuts were delicious!

My fiance (at the time) and I did a taste test of some cake samples, which included cake from Lia. Her cake tasted the best HANDS DOWN. It was the easiest decision we made during wedding planning! Lia was very flexible, and worked with the very rough idea that I had for what I wanted. She designed our cake customized to exactly what I had envisioned, and it turned out just as I had imagined it would. We were beyond satisfied with Lia and highly recommend her. My husband and I ate the top tier of our cake in the days following our wedding, and we can't wait for our year anniversary so that we can get a fresh layer from Lia to help us remember our special day.

I absolutely loved working with Lia. Not only was she great at helping us come up with a design for our cake, it was DELICIOUS. Plus she helped me surprise my hubby eith an awesome Mizzou grooms cake. So many of my guests asked me about it and I was proud to give her name. Chocolate Peanut Butter cake legitimately cannot be beatI would easily recommend her to my friends!

Lia is amazing! She bakes every bring from scratch, so it's different than most wedding cake places you would go through! Which makes your wedding cake from her a little more unique! She did an amazing job on our cake and everyone loved it! I really didn't have much left of it. I highly recommend going through made by Lia!!!

We were very happy with our cake by Lia. It looked just like we expected and was absolutely delicious! We had two flavors - chocolate cake with caramel filling, and amaretto cake with blueberry and chocolate ganache filling. The whole cake had buttercream frosting, and tasted even better than we thought it would!
