We are beyond thrilled with our experience working with Macy and her second shooter Katrina. From the moment we met Macy she made use feel at ease. On our wedding day they captured every special moment so naturally- nothing felt forced or overly posed. The photos are absolutely stunning. Every shot is filled with emotion, light, and attention to detail. We will treasure these memories forever thanks to their incredible talent. She was even able to add my father who passed into a picture and it looks like he was actually there. If you’re looking for someone who is not only professional, but also warm, creative, and genuinely passionate about their work look no further Macy is incredible! -

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Macy! From the very beginning, she was incredibly communicative, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but having a photographer who was so easy to work with truly made a difference.
On the big day, she was professional, calm, and blended in seamlessly — capturing every special moment without ever feeling intrusive. The photos turned out absolutely phenomenal — each shot felt thoughtful, natural, and beautifully composed. We’ve had so many friends and family members compliment the pictures, and we couldn’t agree more.

Since we got engaged, we always knew our photographer would be the most important vendor, and we are SO lucky to have found Macy. There is nobody else we would have rather trusted to take our engagement photos AND our wedding photos– Macy is the sweetest human, extremely talented, and great at directing poses for each photograph.
The morning of our engagement photos, mother nature struck with some severe weather, which pushed us out of our original North GA location. Though extremely stressful to us, Macy had a great solution: a beautiful venue, closer to our home, to have an evening shoot later that day. Everything went perfect, and all our stressors were gone; that is the type of photographer Macy is– one that decreases stress, makes life easier, and creates the best out of every situation. All of that carried on to our wedding day. Her planning process leading up to the big day was extremely beneficial, and ensured our big day ran smoothly and that we got all the important shots we wanted!

We used Macy for our wedding photos back in 2020, and we have taken anniversary photos with her every year since. She is fantastic - she makes you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, she is always communicative and on time, and she gets you your photos in a timely fashion (we always get ours SO fast). I could not recommend Macy highly enough - you are in good hands with her as your photographer. She is worth every penny and more - we love Macy! -

Macy made our entire wedding experience so special. She was quick to respond to initial emails and any follow-up questions, allowed us to customize a package based on our budget and desires for the day, and gave everything a personal touch that reduced some of that ever-present anxiety when planning a wedding. We did an engagement shoot with Macy and I am SO glad we did! This allowed us to get to know her before our wedding day and get more comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I are both a bit camera shy, but Macy made us look like naturals! I LOVE how our engagement pictures turned out--they feel like us on our best day.
On the wedding day, Macy was prepared for everything. She had a shot list, a timeline, extra supplies, and had already talked with me ahead of time about any specific moments or pictures I wanted to capture. She moved us through portraits and family pictures quickly without making us feel rushed. She was efficient and professional! We had some rain on our wedding day, and Macy was so kind and flexible as we shifted our plans and schedule around. She even agreed to take our portraits in the misty weather so we could take advantage of the garden at our venue.
Macy sent us our sneak peak within a week and our full gallery in under two months. The sneak peak made me cry--they were everything I'd hoped for. She captured the memories and emotions of the day so perfectly! From teary eyes and a perfect breeze in the veil, she captured it all. Looking at the pictures is like being transported back to the day itself.
Macy is 100% worth the investment! Friendly. Professional. Talented. Kind. I will be treasuring these pictures forever :) -

We Love Macy!
Macy was so great to work with. When we stumbled upon her page, we knew we had to have her! She is responsive, organized and so sweet. Our wedding day flowed smoothly with her and we are in love with our wedding photos. She sent us a sneak peak within 48 hours and returned our full set of photos in under 6 weeks! We highly recommend Macy if you are looking for a photographer! -

Just book her!
Macy was the best from the very beginning! I met her as a second shooter for a friends wedding and followed her work, and knew I wanted her to shoot my own wedding one day! Engagement photos were included in our package which was a great time for us to meet her and get comfortable behind the camera. Macy was so responsive prior to the wedding day, including making a timeline and shot list which made our wedding day so smooth! She was the ultimate hype girl all day!! We got a sneak peak within four days of our wedding and our full album within 3 weeks! Like cmon supergirl!!! And that’s all with a precious baby at home! You will not regret choosing Macy as your wedding photographer! -

We are SO happy with our decision to hire Macy as our wedding photographer! We absolutely love our photos and loved working with Macy at our engagement shoot, throughout wedding planning and on our wedding day!
Macy is so easy to be around and helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was so prepared on our wedding day with a schedule and shot list that we had discussed beforehand. We got so many comments of how smoothly our wedding party and family photos went, everyone loved working with Macy. She delivered over 1,000 photos earlier than expected and even sent us a sneak peak a few days after the wedding. She had great attention to detail, didn’t miss any moment, and sent us the sweetest box with Polaroids and our flash drive.
We cannot recommend her enough!! -

Hiring Macy was the best wedding decision my husband and I made! From my first meeting with her to receiving our flash drive album, Macy was responsive and amazing to work with every step of the way.
My husband and I were initially getting married in NC (which is when we hired Macy), and she was so flexible with us as our plans changed 8-weeks before the wedding. Our wedding photos at Primrose Cottage are more gorgeous than I ever could've imagined, and she was so prompt with turning around a sneak peek album and full wedding album. I can't wait to hire Macy again for other life events! -

Macy is one of the sweetest vendors I dealt with! She was genuine and very professional. My now husband and I are not the greatest at taking pictures, it honestly stresses me out lol. Macy made us both very comfortable and gave us direction to make our engagement and wedding photos come out breathtaking. We received SO many compliments on how bright and colorful are album was. I work in the jewelry business and have already recommended her work to many of my bridal clients. Even the second shooter she brought with her on our wedding day was fun and absolutely wonderful. You get the rights to all the pictures she takes with no photographer logo in the corner like other vendors I talked with. Seriously book Macy if you want stunning images to fill your home and look back on years later. Thank you Macy!! -

Kindest and Best Photographer Ever!
Macy O'Connell was our dream photographer! She was very accommodating of us on our engagement shoot, which we showed up late to because we walked and upon stepping outside, realized it was the MOST HUMID DAY EVER! She was so kind to our bedraggled asses, and we looked decidedly not drenched in sweat in our photos.
On our wedding day she was well organized and coordinated nicely with our videographers. She also managed to wrangle 11 tipsy boys and get all of our family photos done despite the off-site baby cousins' late arrival, who the photos were arranged around. Our wedding photos turned out great and really captured the authenticity of the moments. -

We are so glad we picked Macy to be our wedding photographer! We got very lucky with Macy. We found her on Instagram, we were looking at venues and her pictures stood out to us. We booked an engagement session with her a year before our wedding and we loved our session. My husband and I had never taken photos together before and she made us feel so comfortable and gave us constant encouragement. She was very personable and relatable and was going through the wedding planning process herself as well. We ended up booking her for our wedding before we even saw the engagement photos. We were so surprised to receive the engagement session photos so quickly and we couldn’t believe the people in the photos were us! We were so excited to have her with us for wedding day. When COVID hit, we postponed our wedding and Macy was very quick to respond and flexible and was available for our next date. On wedding day, Macy was so much more of a photographer for us. She knows weddings in and out and she felt like another coordinator for us and was happy to assist us and make us feel at peace on wedding day. Her second shooter Christina was incredible too. The day after the wedding we got a sneak peek which was so lovely to get so quickly. Macy’s photos are colorful and authentic and beautiful and capture real moments, and she made us feel comfortable around the camera. Thank you! -

Our experience with Macy was phenomenal. Throughout the planning process she was very responsive and flexible, especially when our walk-through time with the venue was adjusted with little notice. Her photos captured the day very well and met all of our requests. After our wedding, she sent us a small note along with a flash drive of the photos, which was a nice personal touch. Working with Macy for our engagement and wedding photos was an absolute DREAM. Macy has such an amazing gift, and I am so happy that we were able to book her to be a part of our special day. Her bubbly personality and attention to detail are truly unmatched and having her capture our wedding was such an honor. Macy was absolutely amazing! She showed up and started working immediately! She was prepared and brought everything that she needed and more. She has several different poses in mind at all times and works QUICKLY. She worked with me when I was getting hot in my dress after the ceremony and was able to move everyone very fast. I just got our sneak peek and i am BLOWN away. her pictures are absolutely gorgeous! -

Macy is not only talented, but she really goes the extra step to make you feel beautiful & important. I would 10/10 recommend Macy for any of your photography needs! Beautiful engagement and wedding photos!
We really enjoyed working with Macy for our wedding and engagement photos. Macy was very accommodating, our first engagement shoot was rained out and we easily set up another date. We really appreciated her flexibility and smiling presence during our special day! The photos that she delivered are simply beautiful, and we love the fact that she included a flash drive for safe storage. Thanks Macy! -
