This was our 2nd wedding reception hosted at Macatawa Golf Club and they did not disappoint either time! Lacey is an excellent event coordinator and helps keep all the details straight. There are so many things to choose from that our two receptions were able to feel unique despite having the same venue. Everything was carried out flawlessly and we were able to enjoy the celebration without having to answer questions, worry about cleanup, or that the timeline wasn't being followed. The food was excellent and we had several comments about that. The staff was very professional and carried out their duties without notice. We could not have asked for a better experience and are so happy we chose them again. We highly recommend them for a wedding reception or any big celebration! -

Wedding Reception
Macatawa Legends was a fantastic place to host our daughter’s wedding reception. The room is beautiful, with expansive windows and great views. Lacey and her staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They were very kind and thorough, paid close attention to details, and always responded promptly to our questions. The food was delicious, and we received numerous compliments from our guests on the quality of the meal. I highly recommend this venue! -

The space was easily accessible for a small ceremony and a slight conversion for a dinner reception after. Light was fantastic and access to gorgeous outdoor spaces also! -

The Club Room is a BEAUTIFUL venue for a baby shower or any small event.
We worked with Lacey to plan the menu and room set up. Not only was she friendly but professional as well. Took the stress out of planning our event. Food was awesome and a good value!
Definitely recommend this venue! -

Best venue!!!
We held our daughter’s grad party in the Club Room. It was awesome! Beautiful venue with excellent service and food! We have attended numerous weddings and events in the main event room also and have never been disappointed. It is always top notch! -

We had our staff Christmas Party at Red Rock Grille in the golf simulator room. Food was delicious and the guests loved the playing the games. Communication with the event planner was amazing. -

The best wedding venue
10/10 would definitely recommend this venue to anybody and everybody! It was a pleasure working with Lacey. The event coordinator, she was very attentive and very knowledgeable.
The venue was beautiful, the weather was amazing and the food and drinks were spectacular! -

Macatawa Golf Club exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. The service we received was nothing short of outstanding. The event staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, allowing us to truly enjoy our day without a worry in the world. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The DJ kept the energy high all night, and the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for. The overall experience was magical, and we’re so grateful to the team at Macatawa for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be! -

We recently had our ceremony and reception at this stunning venue! Our sales manager, Lacey, was a dream to work with. She was very easy to contact, helped organize what information we needed and by when, and ran a very smooth final details meeting that left us feeling extremely at ease. Our day of events manager, Natalie, was also amazing to work with. She knew how everything was supposed to run and helped our day run so smoothly.
They also had an amazing rehearsal dinner space (choose the golf room!) that our friends and family loved. This was not something every venue could accommodate, so we were very pleased to be able to not only rehearse but also have a nice dinner at the venue! -

The best venue in Holland MI hands down. The staff and Lacey the event manager made the night and the whole planning process seamless. Everything down to the little details like desserts, napkin colors, and setting up was communicate so well by the staff. I would recommend to anyone hosting an event. -

Macatawa Golf Club was a beautiful place to celebrate our previous elopement with our families. I was able to plan accordingly without ever having actually seen the venue, and Lacey was so great with everything! She sent tons of photos to help me with making decisions and getting an idea of the venue setup. Everyone at the venue was so kind and helpful the day of, I highly recommend Macatawa Golf Club! -

Lacey (the manager) was amazing. She helped so much while planning my wedding because I was clueless when it comes to planning a wedding. She answered my millions of questions and is the sweetest! We are so incredibly happy with the service we received and our decision to choose Macatawa Legends. Lacey and team made sure everything went seamlessly for us and no detail was spared! The food is EXCEPTIONAL! I recommend trying all the food on their once a year buffet that showcases every option. We chose the Parmesan chicken, salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus. It did not disappoint. I’m craving the chicken as we speak. The views from the bridge are second to none. Your wedding photos will be incredible there! Perfect Wedding

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with how the wedding turned out. Lacey and everyone at Macatawa worked so hard to make it perfect. I know the ownership of the club is changing hands but I believe Lacey will be staying on. It truly was an amazing winter wedding.Macatawa Golf Club's reply:

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner in the simulator lounge, and it was the perfect location to relax and visit before the big day. Several guests commented they've never had so much fun at a rehearsal dinner.
Lacey was great to work with for our event. She handled my inquiries, questions and updates graciously. Communication was timely and I also had a small window to decorate and she was very accommodating.
We chose the Backyard Grillers Buffet with the addition of pasta salad, and Bars and Brownies Assortments. The food was subpar. An upgrade to a better quality of burgers and buns, pickles, relish, and chopped onions offered with the condiments, and an option to upgrade from kettle chips to an additional side dish would be great. At least one additional side was needed for variety, which we would have chosen had we been advised. The bars and brownies were bitesize which was not in the description. They ran out before all the guests were even through the line.
The Grillers, Bars and Brownies, weren't the excellence we had anticipated. This may have just been a bad choice on our part, as we apologized to several guests. We have been to other events at Mac Legends, as well as the restaurant, and always 100% satisfied. We would still recommend this venue for a future event with a different selection of food.
