Karen and team are the best of the best. Every inch of this venue has been perfectly thought out for the perfect wedding day. From the doors in the bridal suite for the bridesmaid first look to the gates that open for the ceremony first look to the bell you ring when you’re first married, it gives me chills to think about!! The team is just as amazing as the venue, Karen practically had our whole wedding planned within just the first meeting down to the late night Whataburger since this team is so experienced. Their preferred vendor list is the best of the absolute best as well. Can’t say enough good things about the venue and team so will let the scenic beautiful pictures speak for themselves. Love Ma Maison best decision (besides my hubby) ever!Ma Maison's reply:

Even before the wedding day, it’s clear that choosing Ma Maison was the right decision.
The venue itself is breathtaking and has such a romantic, unforgettable atmosphere—but what truly sets it apart is the experience leading up to the big day. From the very beginning, everything has felt smooth, organized, and genuinely welcoming.
Eduardo, the venue manager, has been exceptional. He’s been incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and truly cares about making the process as stress-free as possible. That level of support has made all the difference and brings so much peace of mind.
There’s already so much excitement and confidence going into the wedding day, and it’s easy to see how special it will be at Ma Maison. Highly recommend to any couple looking for both beauty and a team that truly cares.

We chose Ma Maison as our wedding venue for several reasons. It has the perfect combination of a palace aesthetic and a homey look to create an incredibly romantic atmosphere. Highlights of this venue we love include the Bell Tower, The Great Hall, the Green Cathedral, the Lake View, the Grove, the Trellis, the chapel, and the two beautiful balconies. It is also spacious, both on the inside and on the outside, allowing for large parties of guests. The convenient and ample parking space makes parking easy for guests. Additionally, Ma Maison is located such that it is separate from surrounding properties so that you can enjoy your privacy for your party. Ma Maison is an amazing venue. The view and services are great. The staff was very helpful and they have a wide range of approved vendors to choose from. Many of the wedding vendors are also very familiar with this venue. If you are having a Western or Indian wedding here you cannot go wrong. There is a lot of parking for guests and also a large area for guest to walk around. Also they are pet friendly.Ma Maison's reply:

Awesome venue and easy to work with!
Karen, Eduardo, and the rest of the team were all easy to talk to and helped answer the myriad of questions we had. They were clear, professional, and above all, friendly! In our final walkthrough to iron out the last details, I really appreciated how Eduardo was always engaged and always had fantastic ideas to help realize our vision.
The venue itself? Their four ceremony site options were all beautiful and the trellis space is equally incredible. Going inside, the Great Hall layout felt organized and purposeful. I love how the space flows from more private areas over to the trellis + bar. Also, the grounds were immaculate (the Chapel even still smells new!). Plus the bell tower of course.
I would highly recommend checking Ma Maison out for your own wedding! Fantastic venue. -

Ma Maison is THE choice if you're looking for a gorgeous private European villa to host your wedding. Their spaces are already beautiful which makes decor so much easier and you can also pull from their library of decor and items to rent from to reduce the fuss of sourcing large and small decor pieces. Ma Maison also limits their bookings to one event/group per day so you won't have to worry about navigating around another couple or their guests on your wedding day. Finally, Ma Maison’s team brings a wealth of experience and thoughtfulness to the table. The moment I walked in Ma Maison, I was amazed by it. I like that you can have everything at one place - the view is absolutely amazing, with lake with trees!
I like the paved parking lot, and multiple ceremony site options, and a modern built indoor reception hall with a covered path for send off!
The tour guide was welcoming~ we felt like we are talking to friends - he walked us through different areas and how our wedding day would be like - and showed us the pictures with flowers in spring - he also shared us resources for some fun vendor options! we appreciated that
we booked not long after the tour - didn't felt like we need to go to more venues at all. (I guess we did decide after just seeing in person 3 venues, but we feel good about our choices!)
the communication process is good as well! they are good at organizing information, sending out tips throughout the process - and answer to questions fast! would definitely recommend!
now I just have to look forward to my spring wedding!! excited! -

We knew as soon as we stepped foot on the property that Ma Maison was the venue for us! My dream wedding was always at a venue where the natural beauty of the area could sing, and that is definitely Ma Maison! For a Spring wedding where the Texas wild flowers are at their best, the wide open space of Ma Maison is a gorgeous backdrop for your special day. Because of its gorgeous layout we also got the best of everything with an outdoor ceremony, covered trellis for our reception, and a spacious great hall for our reception. Beyond that, there was more that made this decision easy:
A couple HUGE wedding tips:
ONE: look for a venue that has a good flow! What set the venue apart from all others is that it was developed as a wedding venue, as opposed to many other venues which were built for a different function and then converted. This means that they thought of a bunch of little details that make your day flow better! The bride and groom suites are on opposite sides of the venue to avoid accidental views, all pathways are paved so you won't ruin your dress, and their outdoor ceremony sites are properly oriented so that the sun sets at the perfect angle for those golden hour shots! There were so many little details like this that put Ma Maison ahead of other venues we considered.
TIP 2: Look for a venue who makes choosing the rest of your vendors a breeze! Not only did Ma Maison narrow down the list of caterers, they only work with the very best! We saved plenty of time by choosing their preferred vendors and they provided helpful lists of vendors they work with which helped us big time! You will want vendors who are familiar with your venue space, as well as vendors who have an amazing reputation. As weddings are pricey, this saves you a lot of trouble in the long run.
ONE EXTRA TIP:
It's helpful to find a venue that allows for payments for the rental fee and already has chairs and tables available for your use. These are small details and flexibility that serve to make your planning process and execution of your dream wedding a breeze!
I love this venue and I know my family and friends will be thinking of it for years to come! -

My husband and I fell in love with Ma Maison the first time we walked through it! We attended an open house they had hosted in January 2024, and we instantly knew that it was our venue. We loved the French villa aesthetic, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The owner, Karen, was very kind and easy to work with. And our coordinator, Eduardo, was immensely helpful for figuring out our logistics with our wedding planner. The ceremony site we chose was this beautiful greenhouse-like structure called the green cathedral, and it was perfect for what we wanted. The reception hall was also phenomenal with this grand staircase that was exactly what we were looking for in a grand entrance. The tables were beautiful, and Eduardo was awesome in helping us figure out how to lay out everything.
Ma Maison was also really helpful in coordinating all of our decorations. We decided to DIY a lot of the florals, centerpieces, and alcohol, and they told us exactly where to leave everything for our other vendors. The communication was open and easy, and they were very clear in their writing. For couples still looking for their venue, look for a place that caters to your needs and has clear communication. Because we had so many DIY pieces, we were afraid some details may fall through the cracks. But Eduardo was great in ensuring that we knew exactly when and where to put things and where to pick them up. Karen and Eduardo were also very easy to work with in conjunction with our caterer and our wedding planner, and I think that their ability to communicate made our big day all the more special. Overall, I can’t recommend Ma Maison enough as a venue!

From the breathtaking French trellis to the elegant vintage vineyard vibe, every corner of the property was stunning. Plus, the bell tower and church provided a flawless rain plan, giving us peace of mind no matter the weather.
The team, especially Karen, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Karen’s expertise and warm personality made the entire process seamless and stress-free. The venue is completely customizable, which meant we could bring our dream décor and vision to life with no compromises. The variety of upgrades and rentals they offer made it easy to create a cohesive and beautiful atmosphere.

If my wife and I could leave a ten-star review, we would! When we were looking for venues, we really wanted someplace that was both elegant and rustic, and Ma Maison was the perfect place. It looks like a villa plucked straight out of the French countryside and plopped into Texas with tons of lush greenery, elegant architecture, and beautiful landscaping. And that’s nothing to say about the owner and her staff. The owner, Karen, did a fantastic job walking us through the three places we could choose for the ceremony (we went with the green cathedral) and providing guidance for which would work best for a winter wedding. And our coordinator, Eduardo, was pivotal with helping us figure out the logistics for picking up/dropping off decorations, how people would flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, and working with catering to ensure everything was clean and ready for our guests. Ma Maison was also fantastic at helping us plan out our florals, where to display our cake, and where to make our grand entrance. Their flexibility and readiness were things that my wife and I valued over anything else.
For the couples still looking for their venue, look for two things. First, look for a place that can cater to your aesthetic. Second, find a place with staff that can keep that aesthetic while pivoting as needed. Ma Maison’s reception hall was the perfect template for what we wanted, and their willingness to let us use DIY decorations made our wedding day look absolutely perfect. And while we did an outdoor wedding, the chapel was on standby in case the weather erred on the nastier side. Overall, we could not recommend this venue more for their aesthetic beauty, preparedness, and friendly staff! -

My fiancé and I wanted our venue to feel elegant, timeless and inviting for our families visiting from out of town. We found that with Ma Maison! The grounds and European inspired decor are stunning, having multiple locations (indoor and outdoor) for a ceremony site, cocktail hour and reception. This gave us the variety we wanted/needed to accommodate two large families coming together for a summer wedding in Texas. The bridal suite is breathtaking and a perfect place to celebrate while getting ready with your party. When deciding on a venue, it was important to us that the staff be genuinely invested in our day and experience, as well as organized and communicative. Ma Maison has checked all these boxes and more. Their list of vendors connected us with our caterer, our amazing wedding planner and helped narrow down more decorative details. We are having our wedding at Ma Maison on 12/1/23 and are SO excited!! The whole team at Ma Maison has been incredibly helpful through the entire process. Although we hope to have our ceremony outdoors at the beautiful Grove location, one of the most important things we looked for in a wedding venue was a beautiful indoor option as well in case of rain. Ma Maison has that covered with the chapel, which is almost brand new! With so many locations to choose from for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, you can fully customize this venue to your choosing and you can't go wrong with any of them. All locations are picturesque! We cannot wait for our hill country wedding at Ma Maison. -

You MUST put Ma Maison on your list to tour when choosing a venue in Central Texas. It's the only way you can truly appreciate the beauty of this Hill Country gem. The grounds alone are stunning and provide beautiful outdoor spaces for the ceremony or for photographs. We chose the chapel because we wanted a "church" feel to our ceremony. It was absolutely gorgeous and the beautiful wood cross provided the perfect backdrop. Our cocktail hour was held on the covered Trellis which is an amazing space on its own and just a short walk from the chapel. Once it was time for the reception, the doors to the Great Hall were opened. Walking in to the Great Hall is truly breathtaking. The architecture is incredible and provides the warmth and charm that many venues don't offer. We seated over 200 guests and there was room to spare even with a live band and dance floor. Ma Maison works with wonderful vendors and Karen, the owner, is an incredible resource for all things wedding. She and her staff, especially Eduardo and Michelle, saw to our every need. They truly worked to make our wedding day a huge success throughout the entire planning process. We loved Ma Maison from our first visit and we are so grateful we chose this venue for our wedding day. -

We wasted no time booking Ma Maison. We didn't look at any other venues, we didn't even take our official tour at Ma Maison before we booked. We got engaged in Italy and the style of Ma Maison was the perfect match to what we envisioned. The grounds are pretty equipped with photographic spots, so you really don't need much decor or florals. The grooms suit and outdoor deck area is pretty sweet too! -

I found Ma Maison on Instagram and as soon as I saw The Green Cathedral, I knew this was our venue! I scheduled a tour immediately, and ended up booking within a few days after speaking with Karen, which was a few weeks before the tour. The venue had everything we were looking for, and more. All the amenities, rooms, permanent furniture and décor made everything so homey and accommodating. I love the European style, it's stunning on it's own, we didn't even need tons of flowers/décor. A lot of love was put into Ma Maison, and it shows. -

We are just a few short weeks out from our wedding day, however, I’d to take a moment to talk about Ma Maison and its team. First a little backstory… like most couples, the pandemic impacted our wedding plans. We decided at the time that it was best to have a small civil ceremony with just immediate family. In the months that followed, we started our own family. It wasn’t until we attended a cousin’s wedding that we knew realized we wanted to have our own moment surrounded by our friends and family. Our goal is to celebrate our love story with the least amount of drama. As we began touring wedding venues, we came to realize a lot of restrictions that did not work for us. Instead of narrowing down what we needed to have, we aimed to find a venue with the most amount of options. Here are a couple of our top reasons for choosing to partner with Ma Maison.
1. They only host (1) one wedding a day. I didn’t realize how much of an ask this was. Multiple venues we saw mentioned timing restrictions based on their other bookings. When we could enter, what areas were out of bounds due to another wedding happening, and fines if our guest interpreted someone else’s proceedings.
2. You have access to the entire property on your wedding day. The Ma Maison property has multiple sites including, indoor& outdoor ceremony locations, a banquet hall, and a fully covered patio and open fields. They even have the option to move the entire wedding from outside to inside depending on the weather.
3. It’s a dedicated wedding venue and not a resort. Some venues we looked were at hotels, resorts, or campgrounds. They stay fully operational on the day of the wedding. We did not want guests of the property to be on looking on our day or tell our guests they were restricted to an area. We will have kids attend so it helps not to have to work around the manager of the lobby or restaurant.
4. We are working directly with the owner. Karen has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout our planning process. She understands our vision and will often offer solutions she believes will elevate our guest experience. Her team is very responsive and makes the effort to accommodate wherever possible.
We are very excited about our upcoming celebration at Ma Maison. We hope this review will help other couples in their quest to find the perfect venue partners!

We found Ma Maison online while living in Arizona and fell in love with how unique it was, especially for a Texas venue. When we saw the venue in person we were absolutely blown away by the beauty, pictures online don't even do it justice. You can tell Karen put so much love and attention into making it a venue unlike any other. There are many different ceremony spots, which provide options to every type of bride. We chose to get married at The Grove, have our cocktail hour in the Trellis, and the reception in the Great Hall. We loved that we could have all wedding events at one place, and felt like we were able to play off the natural beauty of the venue and truly make it our own. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives, and Ma Maison will forever have a special place in our hearts. -

We were married in September, 2022 at Ma Maison. The staff at Ma Maison did everything we asked of them - from helping with every detail and contingency during planning, giving suggestions and ideas, answering all questions at our rehearsal, to setting up the space, and moving last-minute indoors to the beautiful Chapel due to rain, and ensuring it all went off perfectly - Ma Maison was amazing. The grounds are beautiful - our photos turned out so well and we had so many different and unique backgrounds to use. The terrace was the perfect spot for our cocktail hour, the chapel was gorgeous (and air-conditioned...which was key on a humid day), the great hall looked so beautiful and easily fit everyone comfortably. We had a whiskey bar on the terrace during the reception that all of our guests loved because it was a place to sit, relax, and chat away from the music. We played lawn games in the yard, the kids had plenty of space to run around - we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the whole day was. -

I can’t tell you enough about how pumped I am about Ma Maison. My fiancé and I fell in love with it within 5 minutes of our tour and we didn’t even bother looking anywhere else. I really love how they only do one event per day and you can use the entire property. We also knew we wanted a place that was outdoors but with a decent back up plan for rain. Since it was the first place we saw, we didn’t have many specific ideas on guest count, style or décor but it was great to see how versatile the venue was. Every staff member we have met or corresponded with has been so helpful and knowledgeable. Karen is wonderful and you can tell she has put her heart and soul into this place. If you are searching for a beautiful Texas wedding venue, this is absolutely THE place! -

Ma Maison is not only the most accommodating venue, but it is absolutely gorgeous! It is the most beautiful and well-kept in the Austin area. You can just tell how much the owners love and care for it - truly a luxurious feel. During these unsteady times, my fiancé and I knew we wanted a venue that provided great back-up plans. This was one of the reasons why we chose Ma Maison. They provide so many unique outdoor and indoor options, which we thought was amazing not only incase it rained but also incase we decided to keep it all outdoors last minute due to Covid concerns.
If you’re looking for a venue that is willing to give you the entire venue to yourself that day and will provide indoor and outdoor options that you know you’ll will be happy with regardless of which space you end up needing to use on the day of, Ma Maison is the venue for you! A lot of the really nice venues around Austin simply can’t accommodate big weddings. We are so fortunate that Ma Maison is able to hold up to 300 guests at the Green Cathedral and the Great Hall.
We love the timeless, elegant, and romantic garden vibe and Ma Maison gave us exactly that! We loved that you can keep the decor as simple or as extra because either way it’s gauranteed to look stunning! Additionally, Ma Maison provides chairs, tables, and so much more inventory for you to choose from. As a photographer, I knew I wanted a beautiful bridal suite to get ready and take pictures in with my bridesmaids.
Karen (the owner) is such a joy to work with. She really cares about her clients and provides so much insight and recommendations. They’re so quick to respond to emails, texts, and phone calls, which is really amazing when you need to get answers quick. Karen took the time to walk us through the venue and was even so flexible and trusting that she gave us the option to have our engagement photos done when she and her staff could not be on the property.Ma Maison's reply:

First off, Ma Maison is absolutely gorgeous. A great place to have a wedding or any important event. You can tell the owners and their team take great care of the place. We took our engagement photos there, and it was the perfect location. Our photographer, Anastasia Strate (look her up, she's amazing!), was very familiar with the place and said it was one of her favorite spots. There were so many spots within the venue that were so elegant and perfect. They also had the AC on for us, and convenient areas ready for us to change. It seemed like they thought of every important detail. We are so happy with our experience and will recommend Ma Maison to anyone looking for an elegant photoshoot or location to host an important event. 10/10Ma Maison's reply:

Wedding venues is of course one of the most important decisions you will make and my fiancé and I were PICKY. We were very particular on what we wanted and Ma Maison had our vision perfectly! They have so many different options on ceremony sites but we knew we wanted an outside ceremony with an indoor reception. If it rains though, they have a beautiful chapel as an indoor option so rain was never a worry! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff was always so kind and responsive in such a stressful time! They would make sure my needs were met and that my wedding would turn out seamlessly and beautifully! Ma Maison has had great communication throughout our planning process. From our initial tour to answering any and all questions I’ve had in the 15 months leading up to our wedding. I usually get a response back same day! We picked their venue as they are very flexible with ceremony sites and day of weather changes. They told us we could decide at noon if it was raining or too hot and need to move the ceremony to the chapel which was what got them our pick as venue.Ma Maison's reply:

Beautiful venue, beautiful people!
Let's start with the people from Ma Maison: Karen, the owner, and all of the ladies and guys that work there are extremely sweet, helpful, and patient. Connor answered all my emails within the hour, and she was always so sweet and polite even though I kept asking a million questions.
They made me feel so special throughout the whole planning and wedding. The day of my wedding, Karen came to the Bridal Suit and asked me if someone was bringing us lunch, because if that was not the case, she could order or pick something up for us... I think that was beyond her "work description" and made me feel so special and comfortable.
Now, Ma Maison: The place is a dream!! if you're looking for that vintage-European vibe with tons of green and a lake, THIS IS THE PLACE!! they have 4+ ceremony options and one is more beautiful than the other. The Grand Hall is so big and impressive, your dreams and ideas for your reception don't have a limit in this place.
I felt like a real princess in my castle. -
