Mattie is amazing! I did an airbrush trial and she worked with me on getting the exact look I wanted. The day of the wedding was even better. She was great at keeping things relaxed but very professional and sweet! Her work is great, I highly recommend her! -

I needed a current photograph to accompany the monthly articles I'll be writing for an international women's magazine, beginning in 2015. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for me, as a new author, and only the very best would do. That is why I called Maggie Rodriguez!
She had done the makeup for my future daughter-in-law, myself, and my daughter for the December marriage, and we were ALL so completely blown away by her talent and friendly, professional demeanor. Needless to say, one doesn't forget that type of service...it keeps you returning for more!

I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to hair and makeup. I've had bad experiences in the past, so obviously for my wedding day I was extremely nervous and cautious. I read all of Mattie's reviews and stalked her on facebook before I contacted her, which calmed my nerves and led me to make an appt with her. I set up a consult with her and she ROCKED my makeup out of the park. I was hooked instantly. I was still figuring out what to do with my hair, and once I had the final concept figured out, her daughter, Yesi ROCKED my hair out of the park too. The two of them together are a fantastic team. They listened to everything I said, answered all my extremely random questions, and made me feel like Kim K on my wedding day - which was my exact vision. I enjoyed working with them and would absolutely recommend them for your wedding day! -

Mattie and her team did my hair for my bridal portraits. They were very flexible and understanding, easy to get in touch with, as she always called me back in a timely matter, if she didn't answer the first time. The quality of my hairstyle was excellent. Not only did it stay throughout the whole portrait session, but the next morning there were still curls in my hair. For all of these reasons, they were definitely professional and I would use them again as well as recommend them! -

O my goodness, I needed and a person to do make up for my self and my wedding party, I shopped and shopped, however I did not not feel at ease with some of the make up artist..... One of my vendors gave me Mattie's number and I called her and we talked and I scheduled a consult with her.... I arrived at her studio and she and I talked about what I liked and didn't like which was very short considering I am a plain Jane :)) ..... Mattie went to work and O my it was wonderful, so of course I booked her for my event.................
Fast forward to my wedding day everyone knows that is the busiest day of the whole planning process from getting your hair, make up and everything else done..... Mattie came to my hotel room and of course I was not there :( she waited for one of my girls from the party to get there to let her in and when I arrived about an hour later....... my girls were BEAUTIFUL......... I apologized for being late and of course Mattie been the person she is said don't worry about it.............
I sat in the chair and the rest was history.... When I saw my make up I felt GORGEOUS and looked like a PRINCESS. Every single picture my photographer took showed off Mattie's skills seeing how my make up was done at 2 P.M. and we took photos before the wedding that started at 6 P.M. and my make was still FLAWLESS.. Mattie and her daughter Jesse are a BEAST at what they do, I wish Mattie could be my personal Make up Artist then I wouldn't have a problem wearing make up because she makes it look so easy and natural..... I LOVE MATTIE and can't wait to use her again. Pick Mattie if you need a Make up Artist for your special day or any day that you just want to look like a Princess you will not be disappointed.... :)) -

Mattie created a fantastic angelic look with my hair and makeup for my maternity photo shoot. She came to my hospital room where I've remained on bed rest for six weeks and skillfully created the look while I lay in the bed. She's wonderful to work with; I couldn't ask for more. -

Mattie is a makeup artist who listens to exactly what her client wants to feel extra special.
During my makeover the makeup application process was relaxing and so much fun!!! I loved how she styled my hair different from my "every day" look to feel so glamorous!!! Photography shots turned out just as artistic and very much what I envisioned.

Some months ago,my beautiful wife and I got married. Normally, as a guy, I wasn't into make-up but when I saw how Mattie highlighted all of my favorite features on my wife, I was all smiles. Not only was my wife very happy with the results but Mattie took the extra step to make it a personalized experience. Some people may see this as just a job but from what I gathered from my wife's account, Mattie does it for the art. It only feels right to compliment the artist who gave my dear exactly what she wanted. -

Mattie completed a mini shoot for my 17 year old daughter. The entire process (hair, make-up, and photos) was wonderful! The final product was amazing. Even my husband was pleased with the way his "baby" looked in make-up. Looking forward to working with Mattie to capture our next memories! -

Mattie was absolutely awesome!!! She performed a great job on my make-up, as i never wear any - I loved it. Its hard to go from not wearing make-up to having a make-over and loving the outcome!!! I worked with Mattie on a model shoot recently and not only was her work beautiful, but she was an absolute delight to work with. The model, my wife, and I all enjoyed her company throughout an extended shoot.
Mattie's skill, attention to detail, and warm personality make her an absolute joy to work with. Highly recommended. -

Mattie is a very talented and creative Make-up Artist! Her photography was also very professionally done, so it's a bonus to have a beautiful look as well as a great shoot. I can't say enough great things about Mattie and the work she does with hair and makeup. I have had her do my hair and make up several times and she has always done a top notch job. I have a photography business and every time I need a Makeup artist she is on my speed dial. -

I had the pleasure to work with Mattie on two separate occasions. She was very professional but also very fun to work with, I felt comfortable the whole time. As a model it is hard to find make-up artists/photographers who can be fun to work with and those who make you feel relaxed and comfortable so I was thrilled when I was able to work with her. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a great make-up artist/photographer. -

Mattie and her daughter did a great job on my makeup as well as my maid of honors. I loved my makeup so much I didn't want to take it off by the end of the day. We started at 8 am and I was afraid by mid day my makeup would be a mess but it wasn't. Mattie really knows how to hook a girl up..Mattie also loves what she does. On top of the look Mattie gave me for bridals and wedding day I loved the fact she came all the way from Simpsonville to Spartanburg to do my makeup as I was getting my hair done. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I look forward to another event where I can call her up!! -
