Amazing experience

Katie and her staff at M&M events are beyond excellent. They went above and beyond for us. Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations! They paid great attention to detail, and have a great deal of experience. Would definitely use katie and her staff again for an event.

Katie and her team were AWESOME! I found her on a Wedding sight on Facebook, chatted with her about the options she had to offer and fees associated with her services. We met with her and the bride gave Katie her ideas of what she wanted on her wedding day to be like and gave some suggestions of her own. She took the time to do a complete mock setup of tables and the cake table, took pictures so bride could see what they would look like before the big day. She and her team took care of everything...we didn't have to worry about anything and it made the day less stressful. They went above and beyond what we expected!

They did and amazing job on my wedding. The say of was so pretty and sweet it was everything I wanted. I cannot thank you enough for everything you did. Your staff was so lovely and I enjoyed the time we spent together the last few months. Seeing everything come together with all the ideas you had just no words to say how I feel. Please you have to use Katie it was perfect.

So happy words cannot explain. I would suggest you go in and speak with Katie and her staff. I felt so at ease and when she told me how much it would cost I had to book. When all said and done I will was thrilled with everything and the price. I could not believe that she did it all with what I was charged.

Great price could not beat the price for what we received. Her staff served the guests with drinks and food. It was almost a one stop shop we were very happy. We chose a in stock décor package is what they called it so we could choose some of their other services to keep the price right. My sister used them as well the weekend before. We did close weddings since family was in town

Spectacular Design by M&M and Staff. I was thrilled with everything. My guests were entertained from games to edible arrangements and beautiful chocolate fountain. It was my dream come true. It was my fairytale. Thanks to all the staff. Recommend.

Rented some table linens and a few other things. Met a man named Michael he was great got what I needed everything was clean. Dropped off when it was good for me. Would recommend them to anyone.

My wife used their services recently, she received everything that she wanted. What I was most impressed with was the price. We spoke with many companies and they were much more expensive. After looking at their past events and seeing the photos my wife just had to have them. She was stress free, only poke with Katie a few times and when we saw what was done, our guests were so impressed. I cannot believe that only after 3 phone calls a few pictures that was what she came up with. I could no tell you how happy we truly were and blessed to find such a wonderful person.

Katie and her staff were fabulous. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. Katie was on time and very professional. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. We even had a couple consults for some visuals and we were able to finalize my needs. Keep up the great work.

Katie with M&M helped with everything for my baby shower. They picked out all the games. They picked out all the decorations and decorated everything. I had 60 guests at my baby shower and they even brought in all the food. I had a very cute crib for all my presents and the ceiling OMG I came and and their were lanterns hanging. I was so afraid that it would not turn out well because I used an old highschool weight room that now it just an empty room to use for free. My whole baby shower with food and everything was $650. I could not imagine having a better day. I had a couch to sit on with my boyfriend they brought all the tables and chairs. If I ever get married I will be going back and refer everyone to them.

I rented my linens through M&M, they were very professional, reasonable rates and very helpful. The staff communicates in a timely manner and well organized. They have a variety of items, chairs, tables and linens to choose from.

Formal Rentals were amazing! I didn't have to worry about a thing for my wedding. They had all the decorations, were on time and even had really good advice about which venues to use. When I had a 30 extra people show up to my wedding I was about to go in panic mode and Katie informed me she had it all taken care of. She and her co-workers had another table up and decorated in no time. They went over and behind for me on my wedding day. She was an amazing wedding planner and was very efficient and the best part was the PRICE! M&M FORMAL RENTALS made my dreams come true.

They were great. They helped us with all of our decorations and designed our event. They came in and got it all done and watched over the evening that went off without a hitch. We could not believe all that they did. My wedding was more than what I ever expected its unbelievable what they did for the price. When I first meet with them they did have everything that we wanted but assured us they would have it and the month before during our final visit they presented me the the items I wanted and they were beautiful. For under 1000.00 I can't tell you how amazing it was. Please please we would refer them to anyone one for anything. We had ceiling drapes and she even watched over our buffet that we had didn't even have to pay for catering just had the food brought in and her chef prepared it all for a small fee. It was so much cheaper than anyone we spoke to. We had tall centerpieces, chair covers and everything. Talk to them their AMAZING

I got married back in January sorry for such a late review. Katie called and asked if I could go on and put up my review on their services. Let me start with I was going to do the wedding myself and then attended a wedding that she decorated. I walked in and everything was beautiful. I just had to have her come decorate my wedding. I went to her office, it was kind of dark in their, lots of shelves with a large array of décor. Told her what I wanted and she didn't have it. But got everything that I wanted in with in a few weeks. I was very happy with the services. Her husband who was always happy did such an amazing job on the ceiling. I was completely in love with the chandelier. Everything on my tables were just perfect. But I would like to continue a little more. My coordinator feel ill the morning of my wedding a true emergency, she was hospitalized. She stepped right up into her position. My dj on fire entertainment gave her the timeline that he made for the wedding. She followed it completely. We were unable to have a rehearsal and I was afraid everything would just fall apart. But it was perfect. She sent the guys down and made sure Chris had the ring with him. As me and the girls stood there waiting she looked at me and smiled, lined us up and away we went she let all the girls in then waited with me. I enjoyed our last few moments together as my parents were unable to attend. It was perfect my photographer thought that we actually practiced. Ill give a thumbs up to my girls as they all took direction well. When our pictures were done before guests went into the ball room we went in so my dress could get bustled and I could get out of the heat. let me tell you it gets hot outside in a ball gown. All I could do was cry. I was so happy.

Katie has been so easy to work with while I have been planning my daughter's wedding! She is very accommodating - even though i have had to change my order time and time again, she always responds well and courteously. She has amazing prices and I am renting several items - linens, antique doors, aisle runner, arch and more. I am looking forward to how beautiful the day will be and I thank Katie for her great service!

After reading the reviews I see that they are really good or really bad. It makes me wonder about the bad ones. We used this company from afar. It was a designation wedding. yes to Gainesville we meet there in college so we wanted to be married at the Thomas Center. All our vendors were happy communication as well. She had everyone paid. Decorations were beautiful and what I wanted. So what was such a bad experience to have some of these reviews. She did have a spot in the contract where it said she would like to receive copies of the photos from our photographer which is understandable she is running a business and what a better way than to show case than to get beautifully done photos.

*UPDATE* Since writing the review below, I received a scathing message on my Wedding Wire guestbook from an employee of M & M Formal Rental. Not only was the information in the response to my review rude, it was also false. The employee requested I send pictures of the dirty dishes, etc. that I listed in my review below. Seeing as I was busy attempting to clean the filthy dishes, etc., there wasn't time to photograph them. *I was the photographer for a wedding in December at which M & M Formal Rentals provided chairs, linens, glasses, dishes, decorations, etc. Half the plates were chipped and/or dirty (food stuck to them or hadn't been washed at all), chafing dishes and serving utensils hadn't been washed or rinsed since last use (the father of the groom had to wash all it all by hand the day before the wedding), all the champagne glasses were filthy and hadn't been washed (myself and another person hand washed all the champagne glasses. And again, I was the photographer, but I couldn't let someone's wedding day be dampened by having dirty glasses for their guests!!), some of the glass in lanterns was broken, battery operated candles didn't have any batteries after M & M Formal Rentals had agreed to provide the batteries, at least a third of the linens were dirty and didn't appear to have been laundered since the last use. In addition, M & M Formal Rental was supposed to deliver everything by 3 PM two days before the wedding. The groom was at the venue until 11 PM waiting for the delivery when the company finally arrived. (Once again, I'm the photographer but I was not about to let someone's wedding day be ruined by a careless company. So I did whatever I could to help.) How is this company still in business!? I have done a lot of weddings and never before have I seen such cheap, shoddy equipment and an obvious lack of respect for the people that are paying them for quality products and service. AVOID this company at all costs. The money you save is NOT worth it.

At first I thought this was a legit professional wedding planner/ decorator but lesson learnt she is definitely not... Everytime I tried to meet with her it was always at her convince and always rushed... I specifically said I wanted one thing and received another..i walked into a wedding and reception that was not decorated the way we discussed. She never talked to me about the change in the decorations just took it upon her self to change it.. I was willing to let that go because my wedding ended up being great anyways... She was extremely rude to my my family and friends. She agreed to take the photos for my wedding that I practically had to beg for afterwards. I've now been messaging her and texting her for over a week trying to get my security deposit back that she put in her name for the venue I rented.. Completely unprofessional!!

I was attendee to a wedding done by M&M Rentals. I personally think my friend could have done better with finding someone. They weren't On time for anything. We waited for hours for the dinner service. Her staff was very ride and they didn't really care about the wedding, which is what they should have been doing.

The employees of this company are extremely rude. If you can actually get a hold of this company then you just might get hung up on to without notice and they will not return your calls. Worst experience ever with this company

The degree of unprofessionalism with this business has blown me away. I wouldn't normally write a bad review but the amount of stress they caused me has led me to review. They rewrote the contract without showing me the final contract and did not send items I paid for. They replaced it with their own ideas and left others out. They didn't return calls or texts for days and sometimes weeks. They then demaded photos of my decorations in order to get my deposit. This was not in the contract but I said I could peovide once the photographer got them which could be awhile but would peobably be after we got our deposit back. The owner immediately called and chewed my husband out over the phone yelling at him. She hung up on him on more accounts than I can say. She refuses to settle the matter with ojr deposit by ignoring calls or emails. The company refused to do an inventory count with us and then charged us for missing items that we accounted for. They also charged us for items we did not order nor did we even use. The company then threatened to inflate our balance when we contacted to resolve. I was told on numerous occassions, even before signing the contract, that they would do inventory with us. I could go on and may decide to further elaborate. I hope that whomever decides to use them peoceeds with extreme caution because I got ripped off big time!

My best friend had her wedding here. Katie the lady over renting for weddings and events was horrible. The air in the home was not working. The ball room was hot as hell. There was only 1.5 bathrooms working ant the rest had ben used and not cleaned. The ballroom bathrooms were nasty and it felt like a sauna in there. My friends wedding was ruined Thanks a lot. It is verh expensive to rent the building for things not to be working. There were ants all over the yard for an outside wedding she promised that it would be treated. Don't let her decorate for you or have any thing to do with your event. RUN as fast as you can. Don't be a fool. The venue is nice inside but it will be a day of HELL! And this dis not come down to mone because EVERYTHING was paid for a YEAR in advance. My friend will never get this day back! RUN like your life depends on it from Katie and M&M events and Jumboliar as long as she is there!

Katie....., This lady is unprofessional, Overall my score is ZERO. She makes sure she keeps all HIGH RATED REVIEWS seen. When I arrive at 4:30 p.m. for my family member 5:00 p.m. wedding, She was still decorating as guests arrive. The bridle party and the bride was ready and on point. As a family member I was asked to question her about some requests from the BRIDE she had not filled. She lied saying it was inside. ( NOT). While guests sitting in the reception area, she was moving center pieces from table to table. Takes the JR BRIDES FLOWERS to CREATE A CENTER PIECE. Not enough chairs for the bridle party to sit. Glasses and dinnerware was dirty. She replied that the Bartender quit 2 hrs prior, Family members had to serve the people. Didn't notify the general manager that the air condition wasn't on. Reception hall Temperature degree was 85 - 90 degree. Later about near ending, someone came in and unlock the air coverage turning A/C on. The pool house area for the Groom and men was filthy with molds and mildew. The mansion area where the Ladies was also was hot. I recommend, Please don't be taken by Katie...... Who ever she is

This wedding planner want a be is a crook! Just looking at past reviews I wish my daughter would have done her homework . Nothing that my daughter, son-in-law and family paid for was top quality service. Katie was late. She was decoration while the guest were sitting. Wedding decor were missing. So she stated the Bartender quit 2 hours before the wedding. I must assume he didn't get paid. The van load of employee never arrived, so the groomsmen used his truck to haul chairs. In the reception area the glasses were filthy, no knives to cut meat, the salt and pepper shaker were drying, bull****. There are plenty more issues. Now you can't find her websites.
