I have been in the wedding industry for 8 years as a venue manager (x2) and seen weddings from every angle. I have a high standard and Audrey exceeds every expectation. One small element of a photographer that isn't quantifiable but immeasurably valuable is their ability to keep everyone on time, direct positions, and give you the dreamest portraits while getting you to your RECEPTION as quickly as possible! Audrey is a master at this. I dare say in all those years she may be the best at that critical skill as a photographer. No doubt that is because she is also an incredible coordinator so if you hire her for both then you are surely to have a smooth timeline and her awesome personality keeping you laughing as you go. As I mentioned but to elaborate -- you are not a model. More importantly, your husband isn't a model. Audrey's skill at fun, but effective posing and direction is again, probably the best I've seen in person. The couples are laughing and joking while Audrey is directing and voila the best freaking portraits ever. She is not going to let your arm be awkward. She is going to make you look like a movie star (of course choice). I can't emphasize how important these skills are on a busy wedding day when you want great photos but you also don't want to have this giant waiting gap while your guests wonder where you are. Audrey is your woman -- she will be worth every penny and more. I can't recommend her highly enough to my couples. -

The easiest decision I made planning my wedding was hiring Audrey! She met me for brunch to talk through my ideas and to get to know my personality. I always prefer to meet people in person before hiring them, and chatting with Audrey was like catching up with an old friend. I paid her the full amount for her photography services by the end of brunch because I was THAT at peace with my decision to hire her.
Audrey did our engagement session last fall. I really wanted my dogs to be in the pictures, particularly because they wouldn't be at our wedding, and Audrey was more than happy to incorporate them! She was a natural at working with our dogs and making sure that my husband and I didn't feel awkward in our first professional picture-taking experience. We got the engagement pictures back within just 2 weeks!
Leading up to the wedding, I got overwhelmed with planning and texted Audrey at one point to apologize on my lack of timeliness on responding to her. She called me right back and talked through everything that was stressing me out, giving me her professional and personal advice on it all. I felt so much better afterwards and it amazed me how caring she was over things that weren't part of her job description! She was balancing grad school and her business, and was still willing to call me when I was freaking out over things that had nothing to do with photography!
The wedding day was perfect. Audrey got all the shots I requested plus way more. I had an idea that wasn't going to match exactly with the scenery at our venue, but she rethought the photo so that we got the same essence. The photos came back in less than a month and we loved them so much! We're still struggling to decide which ones to order large prints of to put in the house, and we've been staring at them for over 3 weeks now. There are just too many to choose from and not enough wall space!
On a more personal note, I wanted my wedding photographer to have my best interests in mind at all times. Audrey did just that. My bridesmaids were all amazed that I had only met her a year before the wedding and that most of our interaction was over the phone because she treated me like a friend, not like a client, and she was genuinely excited for me on my wedding day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better photographer! I will absolutely hire Audrey again in the future! -

Phenomenal Person, Phenomenal Photographer
Audrey is the most phenomenal person I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is an even more phenomenal photographer. I spent a lot of time researching photographers and was having such a difficult time finding someone who blended with our vision and also our budget. I actually found Audrey through a different app and she immediately provided me with information about her services and experience. After talking with her over the phone it was obvious that she was the perfect fit!
Audrey is such a kind, friendly, and understanding person. She set up an extremely last minute engagement shoot for me and my now husband. She even had the patience to put up with our goofy dogs during the shoot (and during our wedding)! She made me and my husband feel so comfortable during the shoot despite the fact that we had met her just moments earlier. It was like we had known her for years!
I ended up adding on Day-Of-Coordinator services through her company which was the best decision. She helped me throughout the entire wedding planning process and provided such fun ideas for our New Years Eve wedding. I seriously could not have planned that wedding without her! Joe was our Day of Coordinator through M. Lane, and our day would not have run as smoothly as it did if it weren't for him (and Audrey) working behind the scenes! Seriously, if you don't think you need a Day of Coordinator, trust me you do! They make the best team and are such a fun duo to work with. Did I mention they even traveled to San Antonio from Austin to do my New Years Eve Wedding?
I really cannot say enough nice things about Audrey. She truly helped me with every aspect of my wedding and went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. She is such a talented individual with the biggest heart. I would recommend her 1,000 times over! -

Talented and amazing
Audrey made our whole experience so effortless! We had a very unique timeline to get our engagement photos done, and she was more than helpful and understanding. Her passion about her craft is clear, she said several times "let's get one more over here in this lighting/by these trees." etc. which proved she truly cared about making sure we loved our photos. Her warm and happy personality made the whole experience feel like spending time with a friend, and my fiance who was hesitant about the whole experience left saying "I'm so glad we did that, she's really great!" We will be using Audrey again to capture family photos with our dogs and are so excited!

Amazing is an understatement
Audrey was without a doubt the highlight of our wedding. Simply put, she killed it. She was creative and left us with some unbelievable photos. We clicked so quickly and I could tell she was invested with making sure I had memories to share for a lifetime. Do yourself a favor and talk to her for you photography needs!! She will when you over with her personality, professionalism and style!! -

Lora Sent on 05/08/2018We can't say enough good things about Audrey at M.Lane Photography. We hired her to do our engagement and wedding photos after doing a ton of research around the Austin area for a reliable photographer we could truly connect with on a personal level.
First, Audrey's upbeat attitude and drive to make people smile is incredible. We felt like we were talking with an old friend as we moved through all the planning stages from selecting a location for our engagement photos to discussing the types of photos we wanted most from the wedding. She even texted back and forth with me to brainstorm the best colors for our outfits given the engagement shoot location and weather. I don't think we would have received this type of caring one-on-one attention from any of the other photography services we initially researched.
We've only seen the preview photos from the wedding so far but I have to say they made us cry in the best way possible. We are blown away by Audrey's ability to capture the most sincere moments & are grateful to have these memories for the rest of our lives. Audrey also does wedding coordination and planning which definitely shows in her photography skills. We have a BIG family and she was able to corral everyone!
If you are looking for an awesome photographer (engagement, wedding, graduation, family etc.) then you will find it with Audrey at M. Lane. I wouldn't change a single thing about the services we received and can't wait to work with her again in the future. -
