We recently had the pleasure of working with Melissa as our wedding photographer, and we cannot express enough how thrilled we are with her incredible work! From our engagement session to our wedding day, Melissa's talent and professionalism shone through every moment.
During our engagement shoot, Melissa made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. She has an exceptional ability to capture genuine emotions and candid moments, which resulted in stunning photos that truly reflect our love story. Her creative vision and attention to detail were evident in every shot, and we were amazed by the variety of beautiful images she produced.

Highly recommend!
Melissa photographed our wedding in January and did an AMAZING job! We got to know her for our engagement shoot and I knew we’d love the photos she gave us. She was very communicative prior to the wedding and the day of our wedding as well. She was able to get all the photos I could have wanted and the photos were all GORGEOUS. I’m obsessed with them and look at them probably every day. I would highly recommend Melissa!! -

When I was searching for a wedding photographer, I wanted to find someone who not only captured beautiful images and edited them in a style I love, but I also wanted to find someone who would make me feel comfortable and special – Melissa checked every single one of these boxes.
I immediately knew when I looked through her images on her website that Melissa was an artist who admired and celebrated all people. This level of inclusivity and care made me feel instantly connected to her and her work.
After our initial meeting, I knew she was going to be the perfect choice to capture our special day. At both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, Melissa was focused, organized, fun, professional, and made us feel so comfortable and seen. Her customer service was also unmatched. From offering payment plans to being so kind and understanding when we had to move our wedding date due to the pandemic, she was a dream to have on our vendor team!

SHE IS AMAZING! From the second she walked in on wedding day, she was moving! She knew exactly what she wanted to do and did it. I love a vendor that can take charge and does what needs to be done! She was very organized and had all the shots I wanted on her phone to make it easy! She was very efficient and we were even able to have a little breather before the reception! Melissa was beyond amazing. Our first phone convo lasted about an hour, she was so easy to talk to. I felt from the beginning that she really understood our wedding vision and the pictures were truly incredible. I was not prepared to have sneak peek photos AT THE RECEPTION. We are now over 2 months past our wedding and my husband and our families are still talking about how incredible Melissa was. Anyone I show photos to comments on the beautiful colors, Melissa's eye for photography, and the great quality of her editing. We could not recommend Melissa enough as a wedding photographer. -

Melissa is a true artist who not only perfectly captured the essence of our day but also created a timeless capsule of that joy and made us look much cooler than we are and for that I am very grateful (lol!)
Aside from her exquisite talent, she is funny and makes you feel effortlessly at ease. From our initial meeting to the engagement session to our last dance, Melissa’s passion and fantastic energy was such a blessing and made her an absolute gem to work with.
She seamlessly wove through our many snafus and schedule delays with grace and kindness and I appreciate it more than she’ll ever know.
We got sneak peeks the day of our wedding and that was the coolest thing ever! So lovely to be able to have some photos for us that quickly.
I will recommend Melissa at the top of my lungs and from the bottom of my heart to anyone and everyone and I can't wait to work with her again for some family sessions or portraits in the future - she is absolute magic!!!!!! -

Working with M.A.D Images aka Melissa for our wedding back in January 2020 was perfect. Not saying our wedding was perfect but she definitely was the least of our worries. She keep us enjoying the night with her friendly and fun personality. When it can time to do family photos, she had a plan and work so efficiently. I thought the photos would be good, BUT they came out GREAT!! She caught so many moments I didn’t even know happened. My wife and I are people of color and her editing style emphasized our beautifully melanated skin. We were so impressed ! She’s a great photographer, person and now a great friend of ours. -

Melissa is a dream!!
It was love at first sight with Melissa! From start to finish she was a dream to work with. Her photography style is what drew me to her but then her kindness, creativity, and just way cool vibes is what sealed the deal! I wanted a photographer that would really take the reigns. I knew what type of photos I wanted to capture from our engagement shoot and wedding but it was Melissa who helped guide us and capture the moments I was looking for. I told her I get super uncomfortable in front of the camera and she was so sly, quick and fun that my insecurities went out the window. Her second photographer for the wedding/reception, Kristin was also absolutely incredible! And now, the photos! Holy cow! Each one better than the last! We have gotten so many compliments on these photos and are ordering our wedding album through her. Thank you so much, Melissa! Amazing photographer!
We knew before we even got engaged that Melissa was the one who we wanted to photograph our special day as well as our engagement photos. I have been following Melissa’s work for years and it’s amazing how much she has advanced at her photography skills. One of our favorite things about Melissa is that she knows how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. I loved all of her ideas for the photos and how she will do pretty much any ideas that you have too. She also came to the rescue for anything we needed help with during our wedding day. The photos are well worth the wait and you will not be able to stop looking at them. We will cherish them forever. She is definitely someone you want as part of your crew for your big day. What an amazing experience my husband and I had with Melissa. So kind, so creative and so so patient, with the chaos that comes with the wedding season that is most appreciated ! Our photos look like a piece of ART WORK. Many friends and families love how the night was captured and even possesses prints to display for others.
I was so pleased by her that I have gone on to refer her as someone did for me, because everyone must know of amazingness that is Melissa.
She is professional, responsible, well organized. She is open to what best showcases the couples love; from poses, to locations. She also has a great quality of assisting where you need her help, even beyond the lens.

THE BEST wedding photographer - Hands down!
Melissa is truly, an amazing photographer! She photographed our engagement session and wedding. She is professional, easy to communicate with, funny, punctual and her work is one of a kind. She is a true artist. Melissa understood our vision and knew the perfect spots for lighting, murals in Tampa and captured every special, candid moment. I am not sure if Melissa is my therapist or my photographer but I can tell you she truly loves her clients. I booked her for our 4/4 wedding before I even booked the venue. She is THAT good and I couldn’t risk losing her! She killed our engagement session so we knew we were in the best hands for the wedding. Initially she spent 2 hours on the phone with us working on our timeline for the wedding. When that didn’t happen due to the virus we changed the plans so many times. She helped me replan our elopement! And every text she sent was validating, supportive, and kind. She showed up at our elopement ready to WERK! She’s creative, funny, and honest- everything you need from a photographer! She captured every little moment while also making sure our true personalities were captured. She truly had our back and was willing to bend over backwards for us. AND she edited our sneak peek 4 hours after our session because she knew it would make our day. Like what??? She is a bomb photographer and she was the best wedding planning decision we made. Hands down. -

Best Photos Ever
I have one word, WOW. She freaking killed it. I just got my sneak peaks (two days after my wedding AND she shot another wedding the day after mine). We NEEDED (and so do you) a photographer who isn’t scared to tell people where they need to be/what they need to do. We had requests for lots of group photos and she handled it perfectly. **Most importantly, during our first look, I was a hot mess that couldn’t keep it together*** one of the venue staff ran to get me a towel but Melissa ever so kindly LITERALLY let me wipe my snot with her dress. Like WHO does that??? She was a saint to work with and soo patient with me and all the guests. -

If you love her photography style then you’ll love Melissa. She was very responsive during the whole process. We seriously asked her at least a hundred questions and she always got back to us right away! Totally in love
Melissa and her team were just incredible on our special day. She is so friendly and so creative. Melissa is truly an amazing photographer!
My husband and I eloped to New York from Sweden in May 2019. Since we live in another country it was quite hard to plan everything ahead. We knew we wanted a photographer to capture our day and I had an idea of what style I wanted. I got in contact with Melissa and I'm SO happy and beyond lucky we got her as our wedding photographer. Through the whole planning process, she was more than helpful and made me feel safe about that everything would be just fine. If you want to be in control of your day and feel relaxed about getting amazing photos, Melissa is your go-to-photographer. Especially if you love the old-school vintage style. She really listened to our thoughts and requests and delivered photos that we will treasure through our whole lives. I can't thank her enough for keeping our memories safe through her lens. Outstanding
I am a very busy woman. I got married 10 weeks ago I JUST got enough time to really look at my wedding photos. Going through them has made me feel like I was just there. Melissa is just impeccable. I was so worried about having enough time to get good pictures, and she made me feel like we had all the time in the world. She made it so much fun, I mean our photos included ice cream and segways! Words can’t describe how blessed I am to have such beautiful memories of my special day. Melissa pays attention to detail, she posses perfectly, and she really loves what she does. Melissa was absolutely AMAZING. She makes you feel so comfortable and natural when you are taking photos. Both my (now) husband and I absolutely HATE getting our photos taken, and she made the entire process so fun, and took any anxiety that we had away with her fun presence & positive energy. We did both our engagement and wedding photos with her and they turned out incredible. Not only is her work beautiful, but if you are shy or uncomfortable she knows exactly how to bring out your confidence and work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Melissa was there for me throughout my entire planning process, and listened to me vent, and dealt with me changing my mind 100 times, and never made me feel bad about it, and was always able to calm me down & listen. If you are looking for beautiful and unique photos, look no further. I highly recommend Melissa, and could not imagine having another photographer!

Absolutely blown away!!!!!
Where do I even start....Melissa absolutely blew our minds from the start of our engagement shoot, to now receiving our wedding photos. My husband and I were kind of nervous going into our engagement shoot and we were so blown away by Melissa’s energy and direction. She really made us feel comfortable throughout our engagement shoot, and once we got the pictures back, we were even more impressed. We knew immediately that she was our wedding photographer. Melissa is so professional but also a breath of fresh air and super fun! The way she uses natural light and edits is just so impressive. She was so quick to respond anytime we had any questions or needed anything, which puts any stressed out bride at ease. The day of the wedding I just can’t tell you how impressed we were. She was very thorough but wasted no time. She was so efficient while taking our family portraits/ bride and groom portraits. We actually finished pictures ahead of schedule! My husband especially was very happy to not spend hours in front of the camera. We just received and looked through all of our wedding photos and we are so blown away. Her artistic vision was beyond what we expected for our wedding photos. You can just feel her passion for what she does Melissa captured every single important moment of the whole evening. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and we can’t wait to order some prints and an album! Melissa and her husband Matt were amazing. As a Professional Wedding Photographer myself, photography was the most important to me. Getting married in Asheville, I knew we has to find a photographer that was creative and up for adventure. I found Melissa and from the very first conversation I knew that she was the one that I had to have for our day. I trusted her so much that I did not pick up my own camera once on my day-which I'm still surprised by. The photos were so beautiful. Her and Matt drove all the way out to Asheville and even came to Sierra Nevada the evening before and hung out on the beer tour of the brewery. She kept us both calm on our day and made us laugh. Her husband Matt was right there for her every step of the way and there for both my husband and I when we needed something. Thank you so much for making our day special. Vintage romantic theme
Melissa was a truly amazing wedding photographer. I told her our style and theme we wanted to go with and she didn’t even hesitate-she jumped right in, EVEN with a broken wrist! She was truly spectacular. We got our sneek peeks a day later, and we both said they are more amazing than we could have imagined.
She was responsive which is sooo important when you’re your own wedding planner. And she was very quick to work with the weather-it ended up pouring right when we were starting our photos of course! I could not recommend her and her team more! -

There aren’t enough nice things to say about Melissa and her work. She has truly outdone herself. She goes above and beyond, constantly. She was amazing during our engagement shoot – extremely skilled, gave us great direction for poses, and wasn’t afraid to politely ask bystanders to step out of the way to make sure she could get the right shot. She turned our photos around incredibly quickly and they were absolutely stunning. In regard to our wedding day, this woman is AN ANGEL. We were running behind on getting ready and my husband and his groomsman didn’t have towels in their hotel room when she arrived. She overheard them mention this and ran straight out and got towels. During the wedding, here was never a moment where I wondered “where’s Melissa?”. She was always there to capture every special moment. If she ever needed to step away, she made sure I was aware. In addition to her always being there, if she heard me say we needed something, even not photography related, she jumped right to it. We just received our photos and we are overwhelmed. They are absolutely everything we ever dreamed of. Melissa has one of the kindest hearts. Her character is outstanding. She is the kind of person you want to have around on your wedding day. -

Sarah Sent on 07/18/2018Mellisa did our engagement photos and gave us sneak peeks (yes, multiple edited photos) that NIGHT. She also was able to squeeze us in with a very short turn around. Our friends and family are obsessed with these photos, to say the least. We love them too and can't wait to hang a few in and around our house but we had also had more than enough to put on our wedding website and our save the dates. There were so many good options to choose from! She also made me and my fiance, who was certainly coerced to do these in the first place, feel super comfortable in front of the camera and we absolutely loved her!!
