More than a photographer
Rachel is the absolute best. We were lucky to find her website, fell in love with her photographs and got way more than we expected when we decided to have her photograph our elopement.
First of all, she loves people. No matter who they love. Secondly, she has an amazing network of professional friends and she connected us right away. Most important, she is talented and it is obvious when looking at her photographs.
Rachel helped us find the perfect location. It was absolutely stunning. She convinced me to wake up at 2:45 a.m. so I could have the best pictures during out sunrise elopement.
I can't tell you how many people have reached out asking me for all the details since our elopement photos have been posted. Each picture is so beautiful. She even tells you what to do with your awkward hands! The photos aren't over photo shopped, they look so natural.

The pandemic made our plans change drastically. Rachel was so willing to go with the flow! She ended up shooting for our backyard wedding of 50 people and it turned out great! 10/10 would recommend. We got several things included in our package including the engagement photos and a wedding album! It turned out so great!! Mom was right, make sure that your budget includes a quality photographer. It will be worth every penny. -

We love working with Rachel at Lux Amore Photography! We can always count on her to not only delivery on what she promises but to do it in a timely manner. She is on top of responding to emails during the planning process so you never have to worry if she is aware of what is going on, she is on top of every details. Speaking of details she does a great job capturing all those little special details that you want to look back on after your big day, whether its an heirloom photo, or precious handkerchief or a touch from a special loved one she is there to capture it all. For this reason we can confidently refer her time and time again. -
