  Loved Luna’s!

  Luna’s catered our 04/02 wedding and everything was great! The passed hors d’oeuvres were perfect, the attended buffet was amazing. Everyone was obsessed with the mac n cheese! At the end of the night they sent us to the hotel with a to-go plate and packed up all of the leftovers for my parents to take with them. I would absolutely book Luna’s again!

  Amazing!

  I think food is so hard to get right at a wedding and with Luna’s you can’t go wrong! Our food was delicious and many guests commented on how good the food was. Definitely was a highlight of our big day!

  Catering that made our event fantastic!

  Luna's staff is top notch and very professional. We probably asked over 100 questions as we planned and we got what we needed every time, either via email or by phone. On the day of, the staff was prompt and stayed busy making sure all of our guests were accommodated within the timeline that we set. They were also just a lot of fun to work with in general.
  
  Had no previous experience with our venue so they came out to visit first and had no hiccups on the day of. This is important to note because we had asked them to come out to see the dinner space first as it is very tight and we were not sure if a long table for 60 would work. Roland and staff said they would do whatever was needed to make it work and they did!!! The space was very tight, but all of the guests got their meals on time. That really helped us pull off a beautiful part of our event that we really looked forward to and hoped would work out.
  
  Food was excellent at the tasting and on the big day. We had a custom plated meal with a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres to start. Our guests had lemonade when they arrived to our venue, and enjoyed all of the food and drinks that followed. Luna's was even able to prepare some items onsite, and assisted with the cake cutting. We had shrimp and grits; peach glazed chicken; and a vegetarian that our vegetarian friends really appreciated and enjoyed. I should note that we provided our own drinks, and Luna's bartended and also gave great suggestions on what to do for drink station set up.
  
  We appreciate little touches like staff bringing us food while we were taking pictures after the ceremony or drinks while we were dancing in the evening, just so we didn't have to walk away from the fun to get what we needed. We would love to visit Luna's for dinner sometime, and we would recommend them to anyone hosting an event in the area!

  Luna's Wedding Service

  Luna's Restaurant is hands-down the best group of people to work with for a wedding in the Gainesville area. My wife and I married in March 2019; we had Luna's host our Rehearsal Dinner and cater our Wedding Reception. The service from the restaurant and kitchen staff is exceptional - from special dining requests for allergies to adding and substituting various menu items. The communication from restaurant management is precise and clear, leaving no questions about billing or what we can expect on the wedding weekend.
  
  All in all, Luna's is well worth looking at for wedding food service. Whether you make use of their facilities or not, the staff will always treat you with the highest levels of service and respect. My wife and I look forward to being back to restaurant for dinner very soon. Thanks Luna's!

  Luna's Restaurant catered our wedding and it was fabulous! We were blown away the first time we ate lunch there and my parents and in-laws were so impressed after our tasting that we knew we had made the right choice. Luna's was one of the catering options included in our wedding package and came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator. Luna's staff was professional and accommodated all of our needs and requests on wedding day. They provided servers, bar tenders, and the most delicious food. Thank you, Mr. Luna and your staff, for making our wedding day one to remember!

  Luna's catering services were amazing!! Everyone was very professional and Andrea really helped us to find the menu that was perfect for our wedding. The food was amazing and was presented in a very nice fashion. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for your your catering needs.

  I've always loved Luna's restaurant. It was one of my favorite places while working in Gainesville. I was even more ecstatic that they were able to cater my wedding. The food was AMAZING and everyone raved about it. The staff and Andrea are fantastic and couldn't have asked for more. Andrea will help you plan everything to the last detail. She is so fun and easy to work with.

  Luna's Restaurant catered my daughter's wedding for us at Walter's Barn and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazingly delicious. Everybody we talked to always mentioned the food and how awesome it was. Most said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Andrea worked so hard for us and covered all the details so I did not have to worry about one thing. Her staff was so friendly and kind. The service they provided made me feel so proud the way they tended to our guests. Luna's is absolutely the best in every way.

Many of our guests were literally moaning over the food and I'm sure yours will be too. I will note also that when many brides and grooms do not get to eat at their own weddings, my husband and I were actually the first served--we had plates waiting for us at the table (no standing in line) and we were made to-go plates as well for the end of the night! We will definitely visit Luna's in the near future when we are in town!

  We absolutely LOVED working with Luna's! Everyone loved the food they provided at the wedding and their sweet tea is out of this world! Andrea is incredibly easy to work with and did an amazing job- she even cut and served our cake for us. She was always on-top of staying in contact with my family and I. We would definitely recommend them!!!

  We were unaware that this restaurant was reservations only on Valentines day, but despite our lack of reservations, they accomodated us with a table for 4 with excellent service, food, and champagne.

  I recently used Luna's for both my rehearsal dinner and catering for my 250 person wedding. Andrea was easy to negotiate with and effortlessing organized my event. They created a personalized menu and it was amazing. We had one to go box because so many people had SECONDS! Wedding food is usually just ok at best and ours was amazing. The entire staff was very professional and efficient. I loved working with them and I look forward to visiting the restaurant again very soon! THANK YOU!

  Very Rude to us. So sad.

  We were so excited to call them. We visited the restaurant. It was good food. Called to get pricing and info and the guy told us "you are not worth our time" and hung up ! RUDE!! We were so disappointed.. I couldn't believe it.. We did not want to order a big enough job for them..... so sad...
