Lunalee Photography is absolutely amazing. From our engagement shoot to our wedding and reception, the photos were as professional and beautiful as we could have possibly asked for. Erik and Christlyn were so kind and a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to capture our wedding. I rarely write reviews for anything, but I strongly recommend them for your big day. 10/10. -

Working with Lunalee Photography was a true delight! Erik and Christlyn were so kind and easy to work with, and produced absolutely beautiful photos and videos for us of our wedding. I couldn’t be happier! They were responsive and answered all my questions. The engagement session with Erik was really fun and an experience I’ll always treasure with my fiancé/ husband. The photos were fantastic. They were easy and calm the day of the wedding even when the bridal party was running a bit behind. The photos of the day turned out gorgeous. I debated about adding videography to the contract but decided to last minute. What a great decision that was! Watching the wedding highlight video the first time blew me away. It was beautiful, fun, so touching! 🥲 You won’t be sorry hiring Lunalee! -

We discovered Luna Lee through their instagram account and were the lucky winner of a photoshoot raffle! It was perfect timing - we were looking for an engagement photographer at the time and the opportunity landed right in our lap.
From the moment we met Erik during the engagement shoot, we felt at ease. We weren’t used to being in front of a camera but Erik knew exactly how to guide us and help us feel more relaxed while having fun. We knew it was special when even just the photoshoot felt like a really special memory in our journey towards marriage. When the pictures came back, we were wowed - the outward softness in the images captured the feelings we felt inside during the time.
As we researched for our wedding photographer, it was easy to ask Luna Lee to be a part of our special day! Our event was broken out over multiple days and Erik was able to work with us by separating the sessions - a few hrs during our ceremony day and a few hours during our celebration dinner a few days later. The video and photos that we received a couple of short months later were beautiful - it was so special to be able to send them to our family abroad and have them experience what we did that weekend. Both Erik and Christlyn are calm and caring and it helped so much with the wedding day nerves. We can’t thank them enough for the wonderful photos and videos! -

Erik and Christlyn from Lunalee photography were amazing. I started following their Instagram before I got engaged since I wanted to remember their photography style, which I found to be so warm and timeless. When I started wedding planning, they were the first vendor I reached out to and they proved their professionalism with quick responses and a phone call to get to know us better. I was willing to budget more for a photographer since their work becomes part of sharing the memories in years to come. To my surprise, I found their quote to be super reasonable, especially with their experience and how expensive the market is. The wedding day was great and they made us feel so comfortable. A nice surprise was the amount of photos and captured moments they were able to get at our reception. We opted out of getting a videographer and I feel like we can replay the day just through the incredible candid photos aligning with all our stories of the night. Erik took a couple last shots as we were leaving in our car and he gave the sweetest remarks. Definitely recommend them! -

Photographers who make you feel like friends!!
I had SUCH a positive experience working with Lunalee photography for my engagement pictures and wedding pictures! They made me feel so comfortable right away, which I loved because sometimes taking pictures is awkward. They gave great direction when I asked for posing suggestions. They really have a craft with their editing styles, I truly wouldn’t have changed a single picture. One of my favorite things about the wedding pictures is that they really got quality shots of every single guest having fun. Those will be so sentimental to look back on!
Hands down the best part of working with Lunalee is the exceptional craftsmanship AND prompt turn around time to get the pictures back (which we all know is HUGE)! -

We booked with Erik for our engagement photos and couldn't have had a better experience! He was flexible with the rain on the day of our shoot because we were really hoping to get our save the dates out quickly. His demeanor is energetic and helped my fiance and I feel comfortable in front of the camera! We got our photos back in great time, and received countless compliments on them. He also knew great spots in Atlanta to take pictures, which helped guide our shoot and get some unique shots! -

Oh my goodness, where do I start?
Lunalee was incredible to work with. They take phenomenal photos and make you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. I usually feel awkward getting my photo taken, but they made it so easy. They are so pleasant and easygoing too. We were blown away with the images they captured of our wedding. And if you have the opportunity to do an engagement session with them, do it. It's a great way for everyone to get to know each other before the big day.
From a technical standpoint, their professionalism is also top notch. They're comfortable shooting in any lighting situation, which is something you wouldn't notice just from looking at someone's portfolio. You can rest easy knowing they're able to capture every moment of your special day, and make you feel completely comfortable the whole time.
1000% worth the investment. This was our number one priority on our wedding day and I'm so glad we chose Lunalee. -

I can not recommend Lunalee Photography enough! Erik and Stephen joined us on our wedding day to shoot photos and video in Atlanta this past March. Not only did the photos and wedding film come out AMAZING, throughout the day, these two were a source of much-needed calm amidst the hecticness of timelines and schedules. They made moving from pose to pose, group to group, seamless and stress-free.
Our ceremony was at the Cathedral of Christ the King. They only allow 15 minutes after the mass concludes for photos. This was no problem for Erik! I gave him a shot list a few days prior, and he knocked out all of the family groupings we wanted seemlessly. We even got a plethera of shots outside of the church before heading to the venue.
We received our photos and film in a timely fashion, all high quality and selected with care. Stephen even reached out to ask about our music preferences for the film.
Overall, we are extremely pleased with our decision to work with Lunalee. From our engagement photos in Piedmont Park, to the Big Day- thank you so much for making the best day ever, one we will never forget!

I can't recommend Lunalee and specifically Meli and Chris enough! From our first interaction, they were kind, attentive, collaborative, and accomodating as we had to push back our wedding a year because of COVID.
They were such a pleasure to work the day of - they made us feel immediately comfortable and were a much-needed calming presence making sure everything went off without a hitch. They are also super fun, and we genuinely had a blast working with them, even during all of the awkward poses (which were well worth it). I also appreciated how fast they sent us some sneak peek photos - only two days after the wedding! My husband and I used Lunalee Photography for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and our wedding last year. We worked with Erik and Christlyn for engagement photos and the wedding and could not have loved them more! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, we laughed a lot and had a great time. The pictures were incredible and met my style expectations perfectly! Seeing Erik and Christlyn again on our wedding day was like seeing old friends. The photos from that day are beyond perfect and we will cherish them for many years to come!

We used Erik and Christlyn for our wedding photographers. From the beginning they were absolutely AMAZING! They made sure to get to know us and exactly what we wanted from our photos and they captured everything we wanted perfectly. They were fun, outgoing, and made my husband and I (awkward and no idea what to do in front of a camera) look pinterest-esq.
One thing that really stuck out to me compared to other photographers is that they had no time frame on the wedding day, they simply showed up when the day began and left after our big exit. This made our day stress free and I knew they would capture every moment of our day. They were always on time and communicated with us constantly.

My husband and I loved working with Christlyn and Erik! We loved that we were able to FaceTime them to get to know them before signing the contract. Erik and Christlyn were amazing! When I first saw their photos I knew I wanted them to be our photographers! We unfortunately had to cancel our initial wedding plans/date due to covid-19, but Erik and Christlyn were super supportive and very easy to work with when it came to rescheduling our wedding date. Chris and Meli were amazing! Meli was always pleasant and prompt with communication. She even worked with me to move our time up one hour the day before the wedding because of rain in the forecast. She and Chris captured all the "feels" of our wedding through gorgeous posed shots and candid shots! On our wedding day, I was honestly more anxious about having to take photos than the wedding itself. This is the first time I've ever had professional pictures taken so I was worried about the process and how they would turn out but wow Christlyn & Erik made the whole process so easy and fun!! Just "wow!" is all I can say about Lunalee Photography. I could not imagine our engagement shoot or wedding day being captured more perfectly. We found Christlyn and Erik on instagram and loved the style of their photos. After meeting them for coffee, they were one of the easiest vendors to say yes to. We had so much fun in all of our shoots with them, they have a way of making you relax to capture the most amazing moments and make it look natural. They had to put up with our very nervous dog during our engagement shoot and somehow made him look calm, cool, and collected.
We also were a couple who had to move their wedding due to covid-19, and they made it so effortless for us to choose a new date and get everything moved. It was such a relief during a time that was extremely stressful. We are so thankful they were part of our day and couldn't imagine working with anyone else. Erik and Christlyn are wonderful to work with!! They made us feel so comfortable during both our engagment and wedding photos and they are very quick and easy to communicate with. When we had to change our plans due to COVID and postpone our big wedding, they made it such an easy process to move everything to next year and book an elopement with them for our small ceremony on our original date. We received an exciting preview of our photos on the same day, while we were at our reception. The photos are so beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest! Boho Dream Come True

Christlyn and Erik were nothing short of Amazing. They were the first vendor I hired and were incredible from start to finish. Their work speaks for itself. In an unprecedented time and when everything seemed uncertain, they stayed in communication with us to make sure we were still on schedule. We didn't do an engagement shoot with anyone because it just wasn't for us. Even so, they made us feel comfortable and hyped us up when we were already so nervous from the wedding ceremony. Our wedding day had a 100% chance of rain and never once did they push for a "call it " time as other vendors did to me on this special day. They were patient and kind to everyone. My husband and I are more than happy with their work and you will not be disappointed. Don't wait to book them either because they are so wonderful they get booked quickly and only take on a certain amount of weddings, I booked all my vendors a year out! These are the memories that are going to last a lifetime and Lunalee Photography captured that for us! Thank you! -

Professional and FUN
I seriously couldn't speak higher of Erik and Christlyn. First, they are the perfect mix of professional and fun. Weddings are stressful (of course), but these two really took the pressure of me (a bride) and made sure our day was perfect. From the time they arrived they pumped up the wedding party and brought so much fun to our wedding photos. They have a special ability of making anyone in front of the camera extremely comfortable. I love their candid photography style. They capture so many special moments, and now looking back at our wedding photos make my husband and I smile and laugh. Their style, editing, and overall skill were perfect- more than I could have hoped for. 10/10 would recommend. -

You won’t find better!
I am so THANKFUL to Lunalee Photography for capturing every special detail of our big day. They did an absolutely amazing job, and we are IN LOVE with all of our photos. We cried looking through them! You couldn’t see the sweat dripping off me (it was hot! 😅) or the stress of a train making us an hour late to the venue, or any of the day-of mishaps that came unexpectedly. All you see in our photos is LOVE, and laughter, and happily ever after ❤️ It was so special to see the many moments we missed bc we were somewhere else at the time on that day. They did such a good job of being everywhere, but blending with our guests at the same time. They are both are so very talented, and since the first time I reached out to them, I was glad that I did. With everything that went on throughout our wedding journey due to Covid, they were a shining bright light. They were warm, and reassuring. They had great communication, which conveyed confidence and kept me calm. Their expertise came in clutch when our entire schedule was thrown off, and we still got every picture I would’ve wanted despite the time crunch. In looking at all our photos, I couldn’t even believe they were OURS ❤️ We feel so lucky to have them!! I couldn’t recommend them more. When I was at the lowest point of our engagement, struggling to pick up the pieces of a wedding we had planned for 2.5 years that was destroyed due to the pandemic two weeks before our big day, I shot Lunalee a message, and they were empathetic, and compassionate. I will forever appreciate how they handled this hot mess of a bride in total panic. And I honestly couldn’t imagine anyone else having been there to capture the best day of our lives with us. I really can’t say enough good things about them. They also were SUPER quick with their turnaround!! THE VERY NEXT DAY, they send me an email congratulating us, and included about 20 “sneak peek” photos to hold us over until they finished them all. It was so exciting to look at them on our honeymoon! They said it would only be 3 wks til we received ALL the photos, and they held true to that timeframe! In less than a month, we had all of our photos, in well-organized albums, easily accessible through a link they sent. Just the icing on the wedding cake! ❤️ -

Christlyn and Erik did our engagement photo shoot and our wedding pictures. We feel so incredibly lucky they added us on IG - I went through tons of websites and photo albums, and had a few interviews with other photographers but absolutely fell in love when I saw their work - natural, happy, so full of love and movement. As a couple to work with, they turned out to be extremely cool, easy going and fun to work with! During our engagement shoot at Stone Mountain, they went with all my props and random ideas....and found an abandoned train and suggested we go there - the result was whimsical and romantic, everything we could have wanted. They made really great instructions so my husband and I were never at a loss where to go, what to do, how to stand, etc. During our wedding, they were equally wonderful to work with and caught so many moments, expressions and interactions between us and our guests that we missed in all the craziness. Our wedding pictures are exciting, lovely and captured so much. I love reliving every moment through them. I cannot recommend Lunalee any more!! -

Wow. Just wow.
WOW. Just WOW. Christlyn and Erik are hands down the best wedding photographers a couple could dream of having for their big day. Not only are their pictures absolutely stunning, they are a complete joy to work with to the point I wish we had more big events to work with them! We were lucky enough to have them come to DC to shoot our engagement photos last year where we shot all around DC and even getting to capture some Cherry Blossom shots with them. They both had the BEST energy all day! For our wedding in Atlanta, the captured both the romantic and fun moments of the day perfectly. I had multiple people in my own wedding party comment on how great they were and wish they had hired photographers like them for their own weddings. For anyone still trying to decide who to hire, I could not speak more highly of another team. They are the best of the best! -

There aren’t really words to describe how amazing these two humans are. They find a way to make you feel at ease and look natural in photos even if you don’t feel photogenic. They absolutely made our engagement photos and wedding photos more amazing than we ever imagined they could be. They have an unmatched talent and their style is so unique and different than the cookie cutter wedding photographers you see so often. Our friends and family are still talking about the pictures and how amazing they were. Do not hesitate to hire them, they go above and beyond for their clients and are just the sweetest people on top of it all. Christlyn and Erik are such a dynamic and friendly couple! They made us feel at ease right from the start, even offering to help with advice for other wedding planning to-dos (we found our videographer and DJ based on their recommendations too). We loved our engagement photoshoot at Arabia Mountain. They were hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing -- took away all our nervousness and the results were beautiful, genuine photos! And of course we loved our wedding photos too. On the big day, they worked quietly in the background but still gave us supportive smiles and compliments when we needed them. Our minds were at ease knowing that we're working with such a splendid team. They are just wonderful to work with. And their photos really speak for themselves. I love how they capture the raw emotions, those brief and beautiful moments, moments we didn't even realize exist until we saw the photos and will treasure for years and years to come. Amazing photographers!
These two are a dynamic duo when it comes to taking photo’s! It was our first time doing a professional photo shoot & they made us very comfortable with every photo shot they took. We really liked how they made us feel safe and ensured that they don’t want to make us do anything we’re not comfortable with.
We shared a lot of interests; like our love for The Office and National Park’s! The photo’s turned out amazing and we were so excited to view them all and share with our loved ones. These guys are seriously one of the best photographers out there and we are 100% satisfied & grateful to have them do our engagement photo’s!

Erik & Christlyn met my (now) husband and I in Yosemite National Park to photograph our elopement / private vow ceremony. The whole experience from beginning to end was just perfect. We had about a 2 mile roundtrip hike to the edge of the mountain where we said our vows and back to our cars and the entire experience just felt like we were on a hike, hanging with old friends. They made everything feel so relaxed and comfortable, while also guiding us on how to pose and angle without feeling forced or corny. The day was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. To top it all off, they sent us about 20-30 edited shots the very next day! We were so thrilled to share with our families so soon. The photos are absolutely stunning. The editing and colors of their work is unbelievable! I have had so many people tell us they are the most beautiful photos they have ever seen. THANK YOU Erik and Christlyn! You two are the best! -

Christlyn & Erik are an awesome husband & wife duo! We actually shared a similar experience of eloping in Big Sur, so we knew we had found the right photographers to capture our special day. We traveled from VA to CA for our elopement and were worried about all the details, but they made the process so easy and listened to what was important to us.
They were very caring, creative, thoughtful, and made us feel comfortable during the whole process. (even had us laughing throughout the day too) They were truly excited for us and made sure to catch the genuine emotion we shared on that day. They are great to work with and caught some beautiful, authentic photos of us in breathtaking Big Sur also making sure to include our dogs in our elopement too. We love our photos and can’t get over how amazing they turned out. I would absolutely recommend Lunalee photography!

Absolutely wonderful!
I would recommend Luna Lee photography to anyone who has gotten engaged and/or is getting married. I really went “shopping” and ran into their page and I love the darker contrast they use in their pictures unlike some photographers that use really bright contrasts. They were extremely responsive and the cutest married couple! They even sent a welcome gift when we signed the contract. They have different contracts that can meet you individual needs. We needed someone there the whole day and it was great. They have a lot of cute ideas and listened to any ideas we had. They were very timely in getting the engagement and wedding photos back to me. I definitely recommend this amazing couple to capture your special day! -

Picking our photographer should have been the hardest part of planning our wedding, but in the end it was the easiest. We new from the moment we say their portfolio that Erik & Christlyn were our team. Their style and tone are truly stunning, and their professionalism is unmatched. My husband and I do not get in front of a camera very often and are what many would call uncomfortable when the focus of attention; but Erik & Christlyn walked us through every pose, kept us out of our own heads, and gave us hundreds of photos that we will cherish as long as we live. And while that is justification enough to call them the best in town, not a single week has gone by since the wedding that I haven't heard a story from a wedding guest about how charming, considerate, and friendly they both were. Absolutely amazing!
This was the best experience we could have possible asked for! After our first session getting rained out, they were extremely flexible with us on rescheduling around our work schedules! And their recommendations for a sunrise shoot was the best decision. Once we were at our location they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and that was really important to me!
We got previews the same day and we were blown away! Once we received all of our prints we were sooooo happy! More than we could have ever imagined and so glad we will have these pictures, that represent our love, for the rest of our lives! Definitely recommend! -

My now husband and I flew Christlyn and Erik our to Colorado for both our engagement session and mountain top wedding!!! I always loved their work but after our engagement session at RMNP and Roxborough state park it confirmed we had to have them for our wedding!! Not only are they a power couple to begin with but they are so much fun and extremely talented!!! They’re the best at directing with what positions look good, and I’m such an awkward person when it comes to posed photos. They made it so effortless, easy, awesome and fun!! Majority of them end up being candid and are absolutely beautiful and they perfectly capture us! We got our preview back while we were on our mini moon, just a few short days after our wedding and it made me cry reliving the emotional amazing day! I can’t wait to see the whole album!! The best photographers!
When I came across Lunalee’s website I immediately fell in love with their photos. I was so excited when we booked them for our wedding and engagement photos. Our wedding is in April of 2020 but we had our engagement session in May. Erik and Christlyn made the day so fun and are just wonderful people to be around, they made us feel so comfortable. I could not wait to see the photos. The very next day they shared a sneak peek with us and to say I was blown away is an understatement. My fiancé who is not easily excited or impressed could not stop talking about how amazing our photos were and how great Erik and Christlyn are. Our friends and family are still telling us how amazing our photos are and how much they love them. It’s going to be difficult to pick a few for our save the dates. We can’t wait for our wedding and are so happy we have Lunalee capturing our big day! -

Our photos are absolutely perfect!
Lunalee Photography caught my attention because of their beautiful photos that had such a warm feel to them. That was exactly what we were looking for in our wedding and engagement photos. Erik and Christlyn were so great! We did a Facetime "interview" before making our final decision. We knew that we wanted them because they are such a sweet, fun, trendy, and talented couple. They were very helpful with recommendations for engagement photo locations, photo ideas, wedding timeline, and photo lists to help the day run as smooth as possible. Our engagement pictures were so beautiful and natural looking (some shots were a little awkward and a little more direction would have been nice). The wedding day went much smoother than expected... they were a huge help with this. I wish I could have gotten to know them a little better so we were all more relaxed on the big day. I got all the photos I wanted and more! They were all so beautiful and timeless. I got all of my photos on a flash drive and they are all posted on a Pixieset page that allowed me to easily share them with friends and family. I would definitely recommend Lunalee to any bride! -

Picking Lunalee Photography was one of the absolute best decisions we made in our wedding planning! They were a joy to work with and our photos turned out incredibly. We had a pretty non-traditional wedding and both of us are not usually big photo people. One of our biggest priorities was that photos didn't feel overwhelming, and that we could just relax and enjoy the day with our friends and family without worrying about having to be posed all day. Erik and Christlyn were able to meet our needs 100% and then some!
They were so responsive and supportive from the start and we felt so comfortable with them from day one. They were always so responsive and fun to work with. They set up a great engagement session and we knew immediately we would feel comfortable with them, and as I said, we are not usually big photo takers, so we were surprised how easy and stress free the engagement session was for us! We were so relaxed and our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined.
We had a great time planning and working with Erik and Christlyn to plan our wedding photos too! We wanted to focus on having a relaxed and more "candid" kind of day but still getting those important photos! They came through 100%! Our photo session was a lot of fun and we never felt burned out, stressed, or over-posed. It felt really natural and relaxed the entire time. We got so many positive comments from our guests as well!
We got a sneak peek literally within a couple days of the wedding which was such a great honeymoon surprise. When we got all our photos back, we loved all of them. They really conveyed the fun and energy of the day, and we got those important family pics plus a lot of fun photos of all of our guests. They truly captured the day as we wanted it--a fun, relaxed, non-traditional wedding experience. Erik and Christlyn got our photos back earlier than we expected and were so responsive through the whole process even after we got all our photos back and wanted some additional edits. We are so lucky to have had Lunalee Photography for our wedding! -

My husband and I highly recommend Lunalee Photography! Their work is incredible, they are such fun people to work with, and they made everything hassle free! We first spoke over FaceTime and Christlyn and Erik were so cool to talk to and were really excited to capture our engagement pictures and our wedding! They were always easy to contact before the wedding and even helped suggest places to take pictures and helped us organize our timeline so that we allowed enough time for each set of pictures. They were on time for the big day and they took the most amazing pictures!! Something about having a young husband and wife take pictures just makes it so fun! Plus, you are getting two lead photographers instead of a lead and an assistant as with a lot of other companies. We couldn’t be happier with how the pictures turned out! We got sneak peeks of about 20 fully edited pictures the day after the wedding that helped tide us over until all of the pictures came back. It only took a few weeks to get all of the edits back. We absolutely their style of editing; it is so unique and classic. They capture great candid moments and have tons of ideas for fun pictures. We highly recommend using them for your big day! -

My husband and I were planning on having a simple, intimate elopement in Atlanta and wanted to memorialize the day with photos. Erik & Christlyn suggested a few options we could go and we settled on Toccoa Falls. They were both very responsive and answered any questions we had. On the day of our elopement, Erik & Christlyn made the entire photography experience so fun and enjoyable.
