We had the opportunity to use Laura for both engagement and wedding photos and couldn’t be any more pleased.
Laura and Joe were absolutely fantastic as our wedding photographers! Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, making them a joy to work with from start to finish. For our outdoor wedding, they had a brilliant eye for using the natural greenery to frame and enhance our photos, creating stunning, organic shots.
What really stood out was their optimism and creativity with poses and lighting. They had a knack for finding the best angles and light, even in challenging conditions at the hotel where we did it all at. They always had a positive attitude that kept us relaxed and confident, even being crunched for time. The photos they captured are not only beautiful but also truly reflect the joy and spirit of our special day, we cannot wait to get the full release back!
Our groomsmen absolutely loved working with Joe, said he was an absolute blast during the get-ready. Our bridesmaids, loved Laura. She takes control of the room and executes perfectly.
We LOVED them and I would not recommend any other team other than these two!

Our experience with Laura was nothing short of amazing. She is an extremely gifted photographer with an excellent eye for what would make a beautiful shot, but more importantly, she is also an extremely special person. Her and her husband, Joe, both made us feel so comfortable and it honestly felt like we were working with close friends instead of a vendors on our wedding day. You can tell how much she cares about her couples and how much she loves what she does. Something that really touched me was that she knew how special my dad being at my wedding was as we nearly lost him to a heart attack the week before. She took special care to capture our father daughter dance and other special moments with him and when she came over to show me one of the pictures and I got emotional she held me. It is so rare to feel that kind of genuine caring and compassion -she is one of a kind. I cannot wait to see how our photos turned out - all of the ones she gave us a sneak peek of were phenomenal. Do not hesitiate to book with Laura - it will be the best decision you make for your wedding. -

Laura is simply amazing. Her style of photo is timeless and beautiful. If you are a little nervous to get your photos taken, have no fear. Laura makes you feel so comfortable and happy. The photos we received were just gorgeous, and we've gotten so many compliments. 10/10 recommend. -

Laura could literally make you look good in a BATHROOM!
I was terrified for my wedding because it was raining. But Laura and Joe can literally make you look good anywhere, even a bathroom if they had to! They were working with the worst areas to take pictures because of rain and the picture are so gorgeous. She pushed me just outside of my comfort zone but it was SO WORTH IT!! Don’t be afraid of taking pictures with her in the rain. -

I can’t even begin to express how grateful I was for Laura and Joe. Not only did they do amazing with all of our photos, she was so responsive, and she answered all of my millions of questions PROMPTLY. Even taking time out of her busy days before a wedding to make sure that I got a phone call to communicate any worries I had. She not only was my photographer but was my communicator and helped me plan things out during the day. Whenever things were chaotic (due to just regular wedding chaos) she was the voice of reason and worked through anything that popped up. I am so very happy I went with them and will absolutely use them for any photography needs, because she didn’t just present herself as a photographer, but presented herself as a friend as well. -

Laura is the best!
As a couple who isn’t the most comfortable in front of the camera, Laura & her husband guided us through every pose and made it such a fun experience! They are so funny & sweet, it was amazing working with them. -

Laura and Joe were met with the most unexpected day. My wedding venue lost power for around 4 hours leading up and into my ceremony. They did everything they could to scope the hotel out to find areas with natural light and the minimal lights the hotel generators had on. I cannot thank them enough for how accommodating they were. We cannot wait to see our pictures! -

Even though we booked Laura last-minute, she was so gracious and helpful from the very first conversation to our big day. The unedited photos she showed us were AMAZING and she made us feel like romance cover models rven though our entire group was camera shy. Her style is timeless and romantic even in the rain! -

Incredible!
If you haven’t decided to go with Laura and Joe for your wedding photography yet, do it. Laura was incredible about communication from start to finish. She was SO much more than a photographer on our wedding day. It was looking like it might rain all morning the day of our wedding and Laura stayed so calm and helped us prepare for the worst. Joe even offered to run to the store to get us a picture worthy umbrella in case. Thankfully it did not rain and the pictures turned out incredible! She helped me put my veil on while getting ready, pointed guests to where they were supposed to go, grabbed us drinks for pictures, and asked us throughout the day if there was anything we needed. I cannot speak highly of the two of them and their dedication not just to your pictures and making them incredible but to you as a person on your big day. They truly go above and beyond in every aspect of what they do for you on your wedding day. The pictures speak a thousand words to how much love and care that Laura puts into your entire wedding day. 100% recommend Laura and Joe to everyone. I cannot imagine our wedding day without them. Looking for an excuse to have them take our pictures again!! -

Absolutely stunning photos and gained new family
Laura and Joe are amazing at what they do. Laura truly takes the time to get to know the couple and it really helps make these photos come to life with so much emotion. My now husband was wary of a photographer, not having very many pictures taken of him and his family throughout his life, and didn’t see the value. I can tell you Laura blew him (and obviously me) away with the love she was able to capture with every photo. He was asking everyday after our wedding “did she post any sneak peaks yet?” And when she did, let me tell you, I looked like a princess (felt like one too).
Aside from their amazing photography, their character is something to cherish as well. They are funny, real, caring, and kinda nerdy (like us) and the easiest people to get along with. They worked with some of my difficult family members with ease and took everything in stride.
I feel for what I paid for I got my value twice over and I am happy to welcome Joe and Laura to the family and we can go get Amish donuts anytime ❤️ -

She respects your wishes and gives a lot of valuable input, you can tell she's well versed in her craft. I've only seen a few sneak peaks of what she took at my wedding and I LOVED them, I can't wait to see all of the photos she took! -

Simply the Best!
Laura has been just absolutely amazing. My husband and I were forced to live in different countries for the entirety of the pandemic until we were finally able to reunite. We did not want to wait any longer and decided to get married within just a couple of weeks of getting the necessary visa. This left us with a very short time to plan an entire wedding. We reached out to Laura, and she was just so amazingly accommodating and easy to work with! We got married on a Tuesday early evening, and Laura and her husband were just such a delight to have at our wedding! My husband's sister brought her dog, and thanks to this amazing power couple, we managed to actually get the 7 month old hyper-energetic Golden Retriever to sit still and look at the camera! After the ceremony and many family shots, Laura suggested a secondary location for couple portraits, which turned out to be the most wonderful location to shoot at! We had a hoot, and were sad when it was time to end the session! Despite both of us definitely feeling awkward when getting photos taken, Laura's cheerful demeanour and professionalism helped relax us and really enjoy the shoot. Thank you, Laura, for capturing our very special day! We would definitely recommend you to anyone who loves having a laugh and feel like their photographer is actually their friend! -

We hired Laura after seeing some beautiful sample photos and it was the best decision. Her and Joe were so amazing, kind and understanding. They got all the shots we wanted and truly made us feel like what we wanted was important. The day after the wedding Laura sent over some sample photos which made me so happy since I could not wait to see them. They were absolutely perfect and I will recommend to anyone looking for a photographer. -

If you are on the market for a photographer to document an upcoming event, stop scrolling now! Laura and Joe are hands down the most incredible team (and couple♥️). I reached out to Laura in January about being our photographer for our May wedding. Thankfully it was scheduled for a Friday as Laura is booked solid for weekends this year. After our initial email we spoke on the phone. Within that phone call that lasted over an hour and a half I not only knew in my heart that Laura was perfect for documenting our upcoming nuptials but it was like we have been friends for years! It was refreshing that this isn’t a “job” for her. Laura genuinely loves catching life’s most precious moments.
My husband and I married just a few days ago at the Pittsburgh Botanical Garden. The past 5 months have been the most difficult time of my life. While navigating the daily chaos of my very active four year old, work, wedding planning the unthinkable happened.
My beloved dad was diagnosed with cancer.
As he stated chemotherapy and radiation treatments I was unsure that he would be able to make it to my wedding. I did not want to force or pressure him as the toll of treatments on his mind and body is just awful. Within this time Laura totally made this experience as easy as she could. Her patience, understanding and kindness is like that of one of your closest family members or lifelong best friend.
My dad did make it to our wedding and I know that I will treasure those memories for the rest of my life.
I am so grateful for my experience with Laura and Joe.

If you want the absolute most beautiful perfect wedding photos, you have found your match with Lumiere Photography! Laura and Joe are the dream team. I found Lumiere Photography through my best friend whose wedding I was in and once I met Laura and Joe and then seen how amazing of a job they did I had my mind made up that they would do my wedding too. They both bring to the table immense creativity and expertise to capture all the perfect angles, lighting, and beauty you would want in your wedding photos. My photos were literally like a modern fairytale thanks to Lumiere♥️ Not to mention-they are the most down to earth people with the most genuinely caring personalities. This is SO important for several reasons.
#1. Your day is literally as important to them as it is to you.
#2. Because you will literally feel one thousand percent comfortable in communicating with them what is SO important to you in your pictures. They make sure that they will go to whatever length needed to capture your special day in the utmost beautiful way possible.
It meant the world to me and my husband (who by the way is not particularly a person who likes his picture taken) that they were able to capture such stunning photos. He loved the pictures!!
Do yourself the favor of having Lumiere Photography take your wedding photos. It will be the best wedding choice you can make! You will literally have the most stunning pictures to cherish forever. People will literally envy your pics. I knew Laura and Joes’ work wouldn’t be topped! You deserve the best version of you on your special day and Lumiere will one thousand percent portray that ♥️ -

Working with Laura was the best and easiest part of our wedding! I cannot put into words how great she was and what amazing work she did. I can’t recommend Lumiere Photography enough! From the start, Laura and Joe have been the most warm, comforting souls I have come in contact with! Some photographers look at weddings as another job or another project they have to do, but Laura & Joe look at your wedding as a unique page in your love story. Due to the pandemic, we had to completely change our venue location and date but Laura & Joe had no complaints or problems accommodating our new plans! They were always on time and very attentive and eager to answer any questions or concerns we had. They would rather have 50 exquisite shots as opposed to 100 “meh” shots and I really appreciated that about their work ethic and attention to detail! I can’t wait to see our full gallery and work with Lumiere again! -

Anastasia Sent on 01/09/2020Finally, A Vendor Who Doesn't Make Your Wedding Day More Stressful!
I found Laura and Joe after SCOURING the internet trying to find the perfect photographers for our wedding. We had a bad experience with a "photographer" doing our engagement photos, so I knew I needed better. Laura and Joe were the perfect fit. On the day of the wedding, they braved some chilly weather (and a lack of food before the actual wedding) to take the most gorgeous photos I've ever had taken of myself (and my husband was more than willing to cooperate with them!) We haven't received the full gallery, yet (it's only been 6 weeks since the wedding as of the writing of this review, so we know it's coming soon) but I know it's going to be absolutely phenomenal.
Laura and Joe, keep doing what you're doing. You're amazing at your passion and it shows through the quality of the work you provide. Money very well spent. -

We planned our wedding in 2 months. They were extremely flexible with our schedules, as all of us worked a good amount, and we were traveling in from 2 hours away each time to work on the whole shindig! They were throrough, and extremely communicative, as well as helpful with last minute details. When the day finally arrived, they were early, and very efficient capturing all of the shots in the times we had!! I also didn't notice them after the portraits, until their signature send off images! So to see things they have taken in those moments bow, is amazing! I also didn't see my husband much after the final hours before, and seeing those shots have been a real treat! Our sneaks have come back so quickly, and I'm already incredibly impressed! I'm now swimming in the magic of reliving our day!!!! I only wish the day hadn't flown by so quickly!!! Thanks, Lumiere!! -

My fiancé and I are not huge picture people and you and Joe just made it so effortless and easy for us to get some amazing pictures! Now I’ll finally be able to hang pictures of the two of us up in our house! Absolutely amazing!
We had found Lumiere through a high school friends wedding review. She posted her photos that Laura and Joe took and I fell in love. I knew that those photos were what I wanted our photos to look like, and Laura helped me out in so many ways to make that happen. Laura worked with our budget and adjusted their package to meet what we were looking for/our budget. She was always 100% responsive and so sweet and fun. The day of the wedding they were up early at the venue getting shots of the decorations and setting up lights in a tree so we could have our DREAM picture (it turned out better than we ever expected!). They worked with the photo location and even managed to score us a few golf carts to get around. She knew exactly how to set every photo so it was perfect (everyone knows we would have some crazy poses/faces that would not have looked as amazing). She stayed as late as we needed her and even cleaned up the lights out of the tree before we made it back the next day! Laura even had one of our photos posted the next day so we could see it, and a ton were posted just 2 days after the wedding! Everyone I’ve showed them to absolutely love them and I haven’t stopped looking at them! Now we are impatiently waiting to see the rest! Laura and Joe work so well together and it really made our day special. If photos are important to you on your big day (or even if they aren’t), go with Lumiere, they’ll amaze you. -

Best Photographer to capture your love story
Looking for a wedding photographer I was so lost at first but then I came across Lumiere. Our first meet up with Laura was priceless she had my now husband completely blown away and he talked about her all the way home. We felt like we all connected and that truly showed in our engagement pictures. Laura and Joe were willing to go the extra mile to get that epic photo or if we had a vision they listened and made it work. We now consider them friends they make you feel so comfortable and captured our love perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best and make sure they cover anything you want to make your day amazing. They truly care about making there couples happy and it’s just not a paycheck but something there so passionate about and give it there all times 100. We truly appreciate everything they did for us. -

Best photographers around!
Honestly when I started looking for a photographer for my wedding I didn't know what to expect! I made a couple phone calls and some companies or individuals treated me like I was just another bride ready to hand them money. I came across Laura and Joe through their Facebook page and loved their work. When I messaged them and spoke to them on the phone, they were only really concerned with what I wanted from them and Laura spoke to me like I was a close friend. Throughout planning up until the day of the wedding they answered any questions I had, helped me with last minute details, even helped me pick a DJ! They are so professional while making you feel like a family friend. I haven't even mentioned their photography work! They are amazing at making you feel comfortable without awkward poses. They capture the moments that happen naturally without faking anything. They even had some sneak peaks back to me the day after the wedding! I never felt forgotten about or felt like I had to pester them for answers or photos! I couldn't recommend anyone better than Laura and Joe! Plus they are totally a blast to have at the wedding as well, and my guests couldn't say enough good things about them! If you want authentic loving wedding photos that you will be happy to look at for the rest of your life go with Laura and Joe!! -

Beautiful photos, easy going photographers!
Laura and Joe photographed my engagement pictures & also wedding. The engagement session was a blast. We are awkward behind the camera & Laura made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend taking our pictures. Of course they turned out wonderful & I couldn’t wait until the wedding to see what they would be able to capture. Let me tell you, I haven’t seen all of my picture yet, but from what I’ve seen, I’m
BLOWN AWAY. Better than I could have even imagined. They look like they belong in a bridal magazine. They focused on the natural love my husband and I have for one another & looking at them make me just want to cry. The detail in each shot is what really makes the photo. They don’t just snap a picture, they really get the whole moment. I would choose them 100 times over again. There were a few hiccups on my day (timing issues) & they were able to stay on top of everything! Highly highly reccomend. -

They were so fun to work with and kept us laughing through the whole process, especially when we were nervous. Their attention to detail was amazing and it was so nice to have all the small details that we missed from our wedding day captured. The sneak peaks from our wedding are absolutely stunning and we were both blown away by how hard they worked to get each shot right. We would recommend Lumiere to everyone!

Words can’t even describe how truly amazing these photographers are. Laura and Joe went above and beyond what any other photographer would of (including a tree!) They have such a passion for what they do and for the people they are doing it for and it shows through their work! They are very easy to work with and they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The first thing I told Laura and Joe when we met up was that I hate every picture that I am ever in...once she sent me the sneak peeks...I couldn’t believe it...I absolutely loved them all and I can’t wait to see more!!
