  As the Mother-of-Bride... I knew my daughters dreams of her wedding day, being super special and different.
  When my daughter (Jessica) told me she was getting married, I thought what gift could I give the Bride and Groom to be that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
  I have seen Shellee's imagination and creativity at work on several different occasions.
  Instantly my thought went to creating a non-stressful, super organized day that both her and I could enjoy.
  Shellee made my daughters dream come to life.... Shellee could visualize what she wanted and made it happen!! Every last detail!
  (My husband calls her a true craftswomen)
  To see my daughters face when she first saw her bouquet the day of the wedding was fabulous and brought tears to my eyes!!
  The energy, uniqueness and beauty Shellee (Lula-Ru) radiates at the event is indescribable.
  I thought I was giving my daughter and son-in-law the coolest gift. I have to confess that I ended up enjoying the gift and whole process of this event thanks to Shellee's (Lula- Ru) expertise.
  Every bride deserves to have a piece of Shellee's fabulous talent.

  Shellee has that talent, ideas and suggestions to make your day the most memorable event in your life! I would recommend her to anyone that would like their event to be breath takening. I never thought in a miollion years that our wedding ceremony could be so beatiful until I seen it myself.....

  Words can not describe how amazing Lula-Ru Wedding & Events is. Simply Amazing! I recently was married in 2013 and worked with Shellee. I was looking for someone with an amazing design sense and someone who did it all. My husband and I had a 6 month old at the time so I had no time for details. Shellee made me feel so at ease with it all, she checked in multiple times a week with progress and always reassured me things would be lovely. Those words were an understatement, I was speechless when I saw it all for the first time. It was a fairy tale come true!

  As the mother of the bride I would have to say that Shellee was the most amazing wedding planner!! I was a little hesitant at hiring a wedding planner at the beginning because I know how much a wedding can cost but I am sooooo glad we did!! Shellee definitely loves what she does and is very good at it. She listens to what you want and really works hard to stay within your budget, my daughter had her own ideas of what she wanted and how she wanted things done Shellee is very creative and she adds ideas and detail that you might not think of. She helped from the start in planning, with decorations, rentals, suggestions on a bakery that she had used in the past, setting up and decorating the reception area, flowers and decorations at the church she was also back the next morning to help and oversee the take down, She also did the flowers and they were so beautiful, the whole wedding was beautiful. My daughter would start to stress and Shellee would be able to calm her and tell her everything would be perfect and it was!! I was so impressed at how dedicated and driven she is!!

  Shellee was amazing, inspiring and so creative. Shellee also listened to all of our ideas, made suggestions and planned the most gorgeous wedding, a dream come true.   Lula-Ru created all of our reception decorations, cake topper, and photo op areas. Shellee coordinated everything the day of the wedding so I did not have to help set up. I gave her a list of vendor names/numbers and when items should be delivered and she took care of the rest. I didn't have one worry about how the reception would turn out which was so nice and one less stress for me!
  
  She also created the bride and bridesmaids flower bouquets as well as the groom and groomsmen's boutonniere with colors I picked out - they turned out beautiful!!
  
  Shellee worked with the reception hall vendor to coordinate the decorations with how the room was laid out. Again, she took stress away from me as I would have had to do that if I didn't have Lula-Ru's service. A year and a half after our wedding, I still get compliments on how beautiful our reception looked! I highly recommend Lula-Ru Weddings!

  Amazing is the word to describe our experience. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding. We never once had any stress or worry about flowers, candy table, table décor, card/gift table, ceremony and more...it was truly, a one-stop-shop for the perfect wedding! It’s your special day and it only comes once. If you want someone that cares about your day, just as much as you do, you’re looking at the right company…you won’t be disappointed!   I am the mother of the groom for this event. Shellee goes far above and beyond to make your wedding such a special event. She is so creative, and willing to go the extra mile. It's worth it to hire her just to see her eyes light up when she has a new idea......and double worth it when she pulls it off. We had so many comments on how beautiful the reception was, and how she transformed Nicollet Island Pavillion into the dream world that every little girl envisions when she thinks about her wedding day!
  
  We also had a second wedding just six weeks after this one. Another one of our sons got married at our farm. Shellee was a master at juggling both weddings and making them completely different. They were tailored to each bride and groom. I have one more son......guess who we hope is our next planner? Lula-Ru!

My friends & family still talk about how special & unique the day was for them -- even as guests. I feel so lucky that my wedding day had Shellee's special touch -- It would not have been the same without her!

  Shellee was amazing! She showed us what our daughter's wedding could be, and opened our eyes to a beautiful custom decor that enhanced her dream wedding. We relied on Shellee's expertise and talents, which showed through in every detail.
  
  Our guests were mesmerized by the elegance of each room, which definately set the tone for the evening. We couldn't have been more pleased with all that Shellee did for our daughters wedding. Not to mention the wedding took place in downtown Chicago and Shellee coordinated everything from Minnesota.

  Shellee worked with us to make sure that our wedding and reception was everything we had hoped for. She took our ideas and made them into reality. She went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for, especially with working with our budget. She is great at what she does and I would use her again if given the chance!

  Lula-Ru Weddings made our reception a dream come true, it was truly exactly how we pictured and wanted it, it was beyond beautiful. Shellee (our event coordinator) was very personal and made sure she knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding day, she is beyond talented. She had our decor personalized to what we wanted down to the last detail. From our white and black theme with flowers everywhere and white vases, to a blue mason jar with pink flowers put on the altar, to a simple elegance with lace linens and candlelight. Our day went seamlessly with the help of Lula-Ru Weddings.
