Best DJ for your wedding!

Luke B Renchan was our DJ for our wedding on 8-24-24. I had so many compliments on the DJ after our wedding day. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. Luke's attention to detail was a 12/10! We had multiple calls prior to the big day. He was always on time and would take as many meetings as we needed to feel comfortable. We played the music we wanted and he absolutely killed it for us!! He was so nice! He even pulled us aside at the reception to let us pick the 5 remaining songs for the night before our encore songs. My wife and I even went outside for sunset picks and were re-re-introduced at the reception for her dress change and Luke didn't miss a beat in the schedule and time changes. Literally made us feel so special on our big day. Would 12/10 recommend him for your upcoming event or wedding. Best DJ we've had and seen at a wedding!

Run to book!

We went back and forth for months deciding between a DJ or a band for our wedding—and I can confidently say we made the BEST decision by going with Luke Renchan. From our first conversation, Luke was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about understanding our vision. He brought incredible energy and created the most fun, unforgettable atmosphere. Excellent communication & a great night!

DJ Karl Detken and the rest of the Luke Renchan Entertainment team were great to work with for our wedding! From the original consultation to the day of, their communication was spot on. Luke met with us originally to go over the various packages and addons. We knew from the beginning we wanted to have a karaoke segment towards the end of the night, and he was happy to make that happen. We also decided on some ambient uplighting and the audio guestbook option, which allowed our guests (including those that couldn’t attend the wedding in person) to record messages to be pressed onto a vinyl album. Luke recommended a couple of his DJ’s with availability and we decided on DJ “Kalifornia” Karl. Karl communicated with our officiants, photographer, and musician friends that were performing to make sure everyone had the audio setups they needed. We also had a cocktail hour in a separate building that he brought a second audio setup for so there was a seamless transition between the two buildings without any time spent moving audio equipment back and forth, which we really appreciated. He was also on top of any special requests for the dance and the karaoke portions of the night. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the service we received and would highly recommend LRE for a wedding or other large event!

Luke brought the party all night long!

We hired Luke for our wedding and everyone from grandparents, friends of parents, to friends of the couple are still raving about how great the DJ was! He kept the energy high and everyone dancing all night long!

Amazing experience! Thank you, Luke!

Luke Renchan is hands down the greatest DJ we’ve ever experienced — and we’re beyond grateful that he was our wedding DJ! Luke did an amazing job of reading the room and keeping the dance floor packed all night, announcing key events as they happened, and incorporating all of our favorite songs into a fun and cohesive playlist. He remembered all of our preferences and even took the time to coordinate with our friend who performed a song at our reception. With Luke at the helm, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and we could just enjoy our wedding! All of our guests raved about the music, Luke’s amazing charisma, and his fun yet incredibly professional vibe. He was truly exceptional!

We also rented our photo booth and uplights through Luke Renchan Entertainment (LRE) and we were extremely happy with them. The photo booth and printer were amazing quality — and our guests had a blast using the photo booth throughout the night! LRE even customized the photo templates to match our wedding colors and calligraphy.

Luke and his entire team were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the wedding planning process — and we can’t thank them enough for helping to make our wedding day so special! 10/10 we’d work with LRE again, and recommend them to a friend!

Excellent Wedding DJ - Rick Rolle (LRE Entertainment)

We hired Rick Rolle of Luke Renchan Entertainment (LRE). He was amazing, worked off of a playlist (heavy on the 80's) that we emailed him, and our guests (and we both) loved his song mix...and transitions between songs! He helped make our wedding the exciting and fun wedding we had envisioned! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND LRE Entertainment and Rick Rolle in particular for anyone considiring a DJ for their wedding!

Excellent company for lighting & DJ!

We hired Luke Renchan Entertainment for uplighting throughout our wedding as well as DJ for our after party and we are so happy we did! They are an extremely organized company with great communication. The lighting they did for our wedding was so incredibly beautiful. They made the room glow and really listened to what we wanted. The DJ was so fun and listened to our song requests. Highly recommend!

Fantastic!

We booked DJ Rick Rolle at Luke Renchan Ent., and he did an absolutely incredible job! Our dance floor was packed the entire night and we had so many guests tell us how much fun they had. We also wanted an MC who would help us move things along while not dominating as a big presence (as we've seen other DJ's do in the past), and Rick did perfectly. Several of our friends with upcoming weddings told us they want to book him as well, we highly recommend!

Best dj ever

Luke and his team were INCREDIBLE for our Newport wedding. We hired his company from a referral from our friend's wedding and he did not disappoint. He was professional, flexible, fun, and used his expertise to make decisions. He listed to my million requests and brought amazing energy to our wedding, The Photo Booth was also a huge hit. Everyone looked STUNNING in the black and white photos. They were flexible in making our fonts how we wanted to on the photo strip, and we loved using those as a guest book. Everything was truly seamless and we would absolutely recommend Luke to anyone! Thank you for the best day of our lives!!

Matt Rapoza was our DJ and he was an absolute pleasure! He kept the evening moving, was organized, friendly, upbeat, and had guests on the dance floor the entire time. He followed our music selections and also put his own spin on it, had amazing transitions, and overall was everything we could have asked for in a DJ. Phenomenal service!

LRE had us at hello and it was a no-brainer on selecting them for our special day. We had a zoom call to learn more about LRE and share our style and expectations and it is safe to say the entire group went above and beyond. When my husband and I came down with covid a week before our wedding, LRE was extremely compassionate to our situation and worked seamlessly with us to reschedule for just a few weeks later. We chose Matt Andrews as our DJ and we connected on social media around the time of booking for our original wedding and he had just as much fun counting down to our wedding as we did! Luke, Matt and Tess were a tremendous help to making sure that our wedding was fun for everyone and a night we won't forget. Matt's ability to DJ and MC was unparalleled and he kept us on the dance floor all night. Thank you Matt and LRE!!!!

You won't find a better DJ than Luke Renchan

Luke was the DJ at our wedding on 11/04/22 at Rosecliff and he's the absolute best. Luke's level of organization is amazing, his attention to detail is next-level, and he helped make our day run so smoothly. Between our planning meetings and his online portal, we knew that we were in good hands. Luke also does an incredible job hyping up the crowd and keeping the party going - our guests all had the time of their lives. Our wedding was truly the BEST day and Luke played a major role in making that happen. He was one of my favorite vendors to work with.

Couldn't be happier with LRE!

We had only heard/read great things about Luke Renchan Entertainment and knew that they were consistently rated a "Best of..." wedding vendor in RI. Service was above and beyond what we could have hoped for! We utilized their DJ, photobooth, and uplighting services, plus audio for our ceremony. From the beginning, everyone that we worked with at LRE has been kind, helpful, and determined to make sure our event would be exactly what we wanted it to be. From booking, to planning our original event, to working with us through several postponements, to planning the final event, everyone that we dealt with was very attentive and accommodating. The planning website made things very easy and allowed us to enter information and work on planning on our own timeline. Communication was also excellent and always handled in a timely manner. As our DJ, Luke was amazing! Incredibly personable, professional, and attentive. He made it a point to make sure everything was the way that we wanted it, and consistently checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how things were going. We had a detailed planning call with Luke a few nights before the event and he was able to offer us his insight and make suggestions to make our event the best it could possibly be. He had a great sense of what kind of music we wanted for both the dinner and dancing portions of the evening and he honored all of our specific requests. We left it mostly up to him to play songs that would get people up and keep them dancing all night and he definitely delivered! The best thing you can do for your wedding is book Luke Renchan Entertainment!

Matty was amazing!

Through a couple bumps with our venue, Matty was a rock. Not only did he keep things going smoothly, but the music he chose was perfect. We hadn’t given him too much to go off of but somehow he got our vibe and the vibe of our guests and the dance floor was busy all night. Highly Recommend

I can’t say thank you enough to Luke for everything he did for us leading up to the wedding and the day off! We had to postpone our wedding twice, and Luke was there every step of the way to help us, work with us, and keep us informed about all of the COVID updates/restrictions as they related to our wedding date. Luke was always available to answer my calls and emails and did everything he could to make our third wedding date beyond special. Luke executed all of our requests perfectly, and thankfully, COVID restrictions were lifted right before our wedding, so Luke had our guests up and moving on the dance throughout the wedding! We also had Luke handle our ceremony, for which I had specific requests in my songs, and he made sure that each song was played exactly how and when I wanted. I took Luke’s advice at the last minute to add some uplighting, and I am so happy that I listened- his recommendation was perfect for the tent at our venue. In an already beyond stressful experience of planning a wedding during COVID, there are not enough words of thanks to Luke for being an outstanding DJ and vendor. I highly recommend Luke Renchan for our DJ services!

Luke is outstanding!

Luke really made our micro wedding extra special. He made our dance in the clouds happen and it was amazing!! He threw in some lighting for us, lended a princess wagon to help get my daughter down the aisle (worked like a charm) and he even sent us a video of our first dance! This meant alot to us, as we didn't have a videographer. Our playlist was awesome and he was totally understanding when I mentioned baby shark lol! We were totally impressed and we highly reccomend Luke Renchan. We are so very thankful to him for making our night perfect!

Perfect Soundtrack to Our Love Story

Perfect DJ!

Luke Renchan Entertainment was great! We scaled our wedding down to a micro wedding due to COVID restrictions, but Luke didn't make us feel that way! We definitely got the full wedding experience. He was great about our music, and made sure that he had all the details squared away prior to the event, so you could tell he was organized and experienced! My guests, my husband and I loved the music that he chose, and my guests really enjoyed that they could request songs as well! We had the most perfect wedding day, and Luke definitely helped to make that happen!

Matt is the Best DJ out there!

I met Luke and Matt two years before my wedding at a Wedding Expo in Newport. Matt blew me away with how willing he was to answer all my questions and go over the timeline on the spot. They had a awesome Mirror Photo Booth on display which also caught my attention and they also did lighting. I booked the whole package! Through the next two years Matt and Luke were quick to answer my millions of questions and ideas. They really went the extra mile and set things up at my venue to take pictures of something I wanted to do. They did this just for me to get a visual, which helped so much. It showed they go above and beyond to make you happy. I met and spoke with Matt many times and he was always eager to help me plan. We even met at his house to go over the timeline and music. I wanted the lights and our monogram to go on at certain times and Matt made sure to do it all! He wanted to make sure it was perfect for us. Matt also DJs at Bar Louie in Foxboro and Foxwoods so we went to go hear him, which I knew then I made the right decision in hiring him. I had a specific vibe I wanted for my wedding and I didn’t want the same music you hear at other weddings. I wanted my wedding to turn into a club and have mashups of modern and older music after dinner and Matt did just that. He completely understood my vibe when I chatted with him and I trusted him completely. You could see he had a true passion to DJ. He also can do any style you want! He did soo much extra than any DJ I have heard of and I’m so grateful for everything!! He was a true professional and it’s been more than a month since my wedding and I still hear from people how great my DJ was! My friends are asking for my playlist so they can play at their weddings. Even the older folks loved it surprisingly and the lights! If you want a DJ that is completely focused on making you happy and getting your vibe, then go with Matt! I will be booking him for all events I have in the future and I can’t wait to visit him where he DJs! Thank you for everything Matt and Luke! My wedding day was beyond perfect with your help!

The best DJ!!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Luke! He was so pleasant to work with, and helped to make our wedding so personal. We could tell that he really cared about what he did, and about our experience. We wanted a rather specific feel (appeasing guests who love Brazilian bossanova, Broadway showtunes, and Irish jigs is no easy feat!), and Luke was SO on top of it - he absolutely nailed it! Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and our photo booth was a hit! Our guests complimented us the whole night on how awesome our DJ was - he played music that appeased every generation in the room. We're so happy we decided to go with Luke!

Incredible DJ!

Luke Renchan is an incredible DJ!!! Luke DJ’d for my wedding on 8/25/19. His expertise in music was evident from the moment we hired him. He helped us through every little detail. We did not know how overwhelming this process could be and had never thought about needing a song for almost every action that takes place at the wedding. Luke made that process so incredibly easy. We had a pre-meeting with him to discuss all of the details and he was incredibly kind, patient, and professional! He had amazing suggestions for us. The up lighting & monogram was just stunning and the mirror photobooth was just so much fun. Even my 93-year-old grandparents had a blast with it! Luke had everyone up on the dance floor and played a great variety for all ages. He stuck with any guidelines we had set out for him! If there was a song request or something that deviated from our discussion, Luke communicated with me before allowing anything. The truly most amazing part of the night was after the videographers and photographers had already gone, he snapped photos and video of our last dance and final song surrounded by our beautiful family holding hands around us. It was a memory I am so blessed that he captured and will cherish it forever. I would hire him again in a second. Thank you so much, Luke!!

Danced the night away!

TONY from Luke Renchan Entertainment is the best there is when it comes to wedding DJs. From the beginning Tony reached out and was so kind, flexible, and organized. He met with us early on and got to know our personalities and our vision for the wedding. He followed up appropriately and incorporated certain unique requests we had. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, he called us a few times to finalize details, and was totally understanding when we changed our minds many times about certain things. He created the perfect timeline and took initiative to send it to all our other vendors. On the day of the wedding he had almost everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He honored ALL of our requests and was the best hype man without going overboard. I would recommend him a thousand times over! Thank you Tony and LRE!

Great Experience

Luke was great to work with. We used him for DJ, uplighting and the photobooth. His online event planner is very helpful in curating playlists for the reception. He was also very helpful in our meetings and phone calls to help create a solid timeline for the day. The uplighting was beautiful and it added a really nice ambiance to the ballroom. The photobooth was a huge hit, our guests loved it and had a great time, it was a nice addition for some guests who did not care to be on the dance floor.

He was so helpful and friendly throughout the process, I knew everything would be taken care of on our wedding day. We used him for ceremony music, microphones, cocktail hour music, and for our reception. We also chose the uplighting, which was awesome (we did a different color for dinner, dancing, and then the after party). Luke was the perfect MC and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. The best moment of the night was when the clock hit midnight, Luke switched the uplighting to red, turned on Backstreet Boys, and congratulated everyone for making it to the afterparty. It was a moment I will never forget. So many of our guests have been raving about the music to this day seven months later! We are so happy we chose Luke!

Best DJ ever!!

We hired Jack from Luke Renchan Entertainment (LRE) for our wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum and we had a BLAST thanks to Jack! LRE was on the Herreshoff's preferred vendor list and after seeing ALL of their amazing reviews, we didn't even bother looking for another DJ. Jack worked with us through every little detail of our day and he seriously made our reception so much fun; our guests are still talking about what a great time they had. Jack was super helpful with his song suggestions and worked with us through our own suggestions, too. The online planning tool that LRE used was also very helpful, and Jack made time to videochat with us twice before our day which made all of the difference. We also had to move our ceremony indoors the day of our wedding and Jack took care of getting everything set up for our ceremony, including getting a mic to our friend who was doing a reading, because we had forgotten to take care of that (oops?). If you want a packed dancefloor and a DJ who really knows what they're doing, hire Jack from LRE immediately and you will be in very capable hands!

Pure Perfection

The atmosphere the music and uplighting created from the ceremony to the after party was truly breathtaking. We had so many compliments from all of our guests about Luke's work. The mirror photo booth was a huge hit with everyone and there was always a line! The best DJ we could have found and I am so blessed Luke was available for our wedding day. Everything was perfect.

Music at our wedding was extremely important and difficult and our DJ, Paul, was flawless. Luke was our DJ recently for our wedding. We cannot say enough good things about Luke! He was so nice and really kept the party going! All of our guests said great things about him. We also highly recommend Luke’s Rover photo booth. It was such a hit with all of our guests! Jack Hanna was our DJ this past weekend at our wedding and did an absolutely amazing job! Jack was easy and fun to work with. We had several thorough conversations before the wedding where he ensured we had everything we wanted. For areas we unsure about, he gave us excellent advice and recommendations. We ended up extending our contract the night of the wedding because all of our guests, of ALL age groups, were having such a great time dancing. We would love to work with Jack again....except we aren't planning on getting married again any time soon. :) Nothing but the highest recommendation!!! Extremely well organized. Also, we had blue lighting I wasn't sure about, but we turned it on at sunset and if definitely added to the event, well worth it!

Music and entertainment, one of the most difficult aspects with regards to our wedding. Keeping the music flowing with no awkward pauses, making any room ‘pop’ with the use of uplighting, and addressing potential audio issues throughout the flow of ceremonies (i.e., wind), Luke met all of our expectations. Using options available along with venue examples of prior audio and lighting use, we constructively worked with Luke over scheduled meetings down to the last minute (our fault). Throughout Luke was attentive, willing and kind to address any of our requests, concerns, questions. One awesome aspect was the level of control we were given through online tools that gave us time in making song selections while also providing us suggestion per list of top 10/20/50/100. The audio perfect, the lighting freaking sweet, all of our guests commented how much Luke made the party awesome. Very impressed with his DJ skills, would highly recommend.

AMAZING! From the minute we met Luke more than a year prior to our wedding, my husband and I knew that we wanted HIM for our DJ. The online portal he sets you up with is so user friendly. Luke was always just a quick email away when we were planning and we knew we were in good hands. At our final meeting a month and a half before the wedding, we went through exact details of how the night would run. Luke was organized, professional and was so excited our event. The night of the wedding could not have run any smoother. Luke made sure my husband and I were happy with what he was playing. If we wanted a song to end early, just a look up to his DJ stand and the song was over. He was engaging with our guests and always knew how to keep the party going. All in all, if you are looking for an amazing DJ with the best experience around, Luke is your go to. We also got our photobooth from him which was also incredible. We upgraded to the booth that people could leave videos on as well. We just got married at OceanCliff in Newport on 10/7/17 and used LRE for our photo mirror booth. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE and our guests had such a great time with the props. The mirror is such a cool concept and now we have an awesome guest book with pictures of everyone having fun. Thank you Luke for being so accommodating and extending our time when we decided to keep the booth until the end of the wedding as we all were having the best time wth it. We learned about LRE and the photo mirror at the Rosecliff bridal show and couldn't be happier we did. Thank you Luke for adding such a fun element to our day!!

Jack Hanna from Luke Renchan Entertainment was the best DJ ever for our wedding in September! When we first went to book, we were going to go with Luke based off of a referral we received from a friend but after learning he was already booked we were matched up with Jack. We couldn't be happier with the experience we had with him from start to finish! He was extremely friendly and easy to work with, followed all of our requests...including a vague one where he put together an amazing 90's boy-band montage! Our wedding was a very young crowd who loves to dance and he had the dance floor packed from start to finish. I met with Luke regarding booking them to DJ my wedding. When it came to picking my DJ, I picked Tony and man was he absolutely amazing!!! He always answered all my concerns, provided me recommendations and took the time to learn how to pronounce all names correctly! But most of all he totally delivered is having everyone on the dance floor! He listened to what I wanted played during dinner. Ive always made it his choice of what to play, I just told him what my vision was and genre and TONY delivered!!! When it came to dancing, he got everyone on the dance floor! We are so glad we booked Tony from Luke Renchan Entertainment for the most important day of our lives! During the planning process, Tony was there to meet our every request. He tailored our songs, gave his advice, and demonstrated such enthusiasm for playing at our event. Having not met him until the day of the wedding, I could have sworn that he was a long lost relative. On the big day, he greeted me like a family member and started speaking Italian to my father! He kept our party going and made my husband and I feel like celebrities the whole night!

Additionally, I must also recognize the owner Luke for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. He took a genuine interest and dedication in making sure our wedding day had the best entertainment!

If I could give 10 stars I would, Luke was absolutely AMAZING at our wedding on September 3rd at Spring Valley Country Club. He literally got the party started, and people keep talking about how amazing our DJ was. Luke had amazing recommendations for songs and how to start up the party at the wedding. Luke also put together a mix for my father daughter dance which started as a slow song and turned into a big whole family dance, it was amazing. I would recommend Luke to absolutely every engaged couple, you will not be disappointed!!!!! Best wedding decision we made was book Luke as our DJ!

Luke B Renchan was awesome. He was very thorough right from the initial phone conversation and it was a no brainer to go with him. We had talked to other DJ's and they did not even begin to compare to Luke. Being an Indian bride, I was going to compile a list of songs. I did not get to this until the Friday before the wedding. Despite being super busy with weddings on Friday and Saturday, Luke managed to get every song on the list for Sunday. He did an amazing job as well with pronunciation of names. We had so many compliments from our guests about on him. He completely set the tone for the night and I do not think it would have went as well with another DJ. Simply put, Luke was amazing.

Luke did a great job DJing our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Viking in Newport RI. He has an upbeat and friendly personality and he was able to play a great mix of music that got everyone on the dance floor. He was very accommodating as we made last minute changes to the timeline the day before!! We also liked the online portal where we could request and organize our song preferences. I loved working with Jack Hanna...we chose him as our DJ, as I had heard his work at a previous wedding. He was awesome to work with! He was so accommodating, and met with us several times to go over every little detail. He and the team created a beautiful custom monogram that we had displayed all night on the wall and he even had my dad speaking in the song for the father/daughter dance. Jack really understands the importance of the day for the couple, and he goes above and beyond to make it as special as possible. I highly recommend this company...you will not be disappointed!

We had DJ Tony Avicolli and John Catalano for the night of our wedding. I'm not sure where to even start because they were both PHENOMENAL!!! Tony was excellent to communicate with via email, phone and in person. We recently moved to Florida and I had to come back to MA several times to plan the wedding and Tony was excellent at meeting me and staying in touch. The night of the wedding was THE BEST DAY of our lives. The music choices were perfect, Tony was so excellent with us and our guests and interacted with us all. The photo booth was AMAZING- it was so so much fun and done beautifully. We even got upgraded to the Pro as a surprise a few days prior to the wedding! John was so great assisting our guests and making sure our photo booth album was completed for us. There's not one thing I would of changed about June 12, 2016. DJ Tony got guests out on the dance floor that we were told NEVER ever have been seen dancing before. If/when we decide to throw another party you best bet we will be contacting you guys again!! Thank you SO SO much from the bottom of our hearts for the greatest music and wedding night ever!!!!!

Luke is the best! He provided DJ Services and uplighting for our wedding at Ocean Cliff. Both were amazing. The uplighting really enhanced the beauty of our venue and he had everyone on the dance floor all night long (which was our #1 goal). Everyone had a blast!

He also did a great job "running" the reception. He kept everything on time. He also coordinated with the venue, our photographer, and our videographer to make sure everyone was on the same page.

We used Luke Renchan Entertainment for DJ, Uplighting, and Photobooth services. We are so happy with our decision to use Luke B Renchan for our wedding. Throughout the process Luke was very responsive and easy to talk to. It is clear that he has a lot of experience with weddings and the entire process. Every time we met with Luke we felt more at ease about the flow of events, details, etc (which is one less thing to worry about!). He is extremely easy to work with and will offer suggestions and ideas. One of our concerns (like most couples) is keeping the dance floor full all night - and this was definitely no issue! My Husband and I chose Luke B. Renchan as our DJ for our wedding. He was the best decision for us. Luke and his staff were very quick with emails to answer all questions. When we met Luke at our Venue, Squantum Association's, bridal tasting we knew he had something going for him. He was animated, incredibly helpful and informative yet not salesman-y and was also playing an awesome variety of music! While working with Luke throughout our wedding planning he was incredibly helpful and was able to constructively guide us through our wedding timelines and song choices. On the actual day our interactions with him were superb. We had a lot of play-by-ear songs/activities and he was able to read the crowd superbly and with our permission moved the timeline around or fade the music out of our parent dances when we gave him the nod. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend and/or higher Luke and his team again.

We are so glad we chose LRE!! Luke was so helpful throughout the planning process. He was accommodating with both meetings and suggestions. He also has great online planning tools to manage the timeline on your wedding night, song selection for activities, requests and more! We were a bit nervous about some of the activities (dances, speeches), and it was a great comfort to know that Luke was on hand and in charge of the microphones/music! He faded songs early for us on the dances we weren't too comfortable with and checked with us before garter reversal. Luke did an outstanding job reading the crowd, and kept the dane floor full throughout the night. I was thoroughly impressed with his services throughout the process and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better.

Luke made our day fantastic, special and meaningful from beginning to the end. Luke and staff were prompt, easy to work with and friendly. Luke made our night personal. He provided music, photobooth and beautiful spot lighting onto every table and our cake. I cannot say enough about the quality and workmanship of this company. I would highly recommend them to any type of special event.

We recently hired Luke Renchan Entertainment for our wedding day DJ. DJ Ray Mar worked with us as our wedding DJ and we couldn't have been more pleased. From the very beginning, Ray was so incredible to work with and extremely responsive. His wealth of experience in this industry really sets him apart ... not to mention his passion for what he does. My husband and I were just blown away by how knowledgeable and approachable he was. Furthermore, you can tell that Ray really cares about his clients and that really shined through on our wedding day. On our wedding day, Ray really catered to us - he would check in to make sure we had everything we needed. He took pictures of the day and shared them with us later. Ray just surpassed our expectations! Guests were packed on the dance floor all night - Ray really knew how to read the crowd and was so much fun to be around. If you have the opportunity to work with DJ Ray Mar, don't pass it up! He is truly a legend and a remarkable man!

Luke was amazing to work with from beginning to end! He always was available to answer question over the phone or through email. He was very responsive and made us feel like he was the only ones he was working with. We sat down with him a month or so before our wedding and he went through every detail of our wedding with us! It made me feel so much more comfortable! The music he played was aboslutely perfect! Everyone told me how much they loved the cocktail hour music and no one left the dance floor once it opened because the songs were too good to take a break! We also had a photobooth going which was a blast. We had customized photos with our names and got a scrapbook with all the printouts that everyone could sign. Everyone had such a great time! I highly recommend using Luke Renchan Entertainment!! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I were married at the Newport Yachting Center on Saturday, June 6th, 2015. After reading multiple reviews, we decided to meet with Luke Renchan Entertainment to inquire about their services. After our initial meeting, we decided to go with Paul Lucia as our DJ. Luke Renchan Entertainment has an easy-to-use website to help plan out your wedding songs and submit requests. While planning the wedding, Paul was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had. He was dressed very professionally for the event. The sound system (speakers and microphones) were excellent as well. Paul did a great job with not only our requests, but also filling out the rest of the playlist. He was fantastic when announcing and directing guests. He was able to determine the types of songs our guests liked, keeping the dance floor packed until the very end. After the wedding, we had guests telling us how great our DJ was, and had one guest asking for a DJ referral for a friend. We are BEYOND satisfied with our choice for a DJ. THANK YOU Paul!!!

Luke was so easy to work with. He had everything organized and ready to go on our wedding day. The lighting he provided was the cherry on top to our special day. All our guests no matter what age were out on the dance floor and had an amazing time.

Luke did a fantastic job- he kept the fun going, played our selections, confirmed with us on songs we didn't want played- the dance floor was moving all night long. He did a great job with the annoucements and the activities, just the right amount of talking without taking the spotlight away from the stars of the night. Book with Luke- you won't regret. DJ Luke Renchan was the BEST vendor we hired for our wedding!!! He is extremely professional and knows how to keep a party going. His music kept our dance floor completely packed ALL NIGHT, which is exactly what we wanted. Our guests enjoyed his music selections so much that we decided to extend our night an extra hour because no one wanted to leave! When your DJ is so good that you or your guests don't want the night to end, you know you made a fantastic decision.

One little side story I'll never forget about Luke...My bride, in the whirlwind that was our wedding day, accidentally forgot to wear her garter belt. So when the time came for the garter toss, we had to improvise on the fly. DJ Luke to the rescue!!! He took the road bump in stride and without breaking a sweat suggested we use something else with meaning. In 2 seconds, we had the best man give us his bow tie to use. My garter dance to Justin Timberlake's "Senorita" ended with my discovery of a bowtie where the garter belt should have been. Flawlessly, DJ Luke announced to the crowd how JT himself lent his bowtie for our wedding day use. The crowd loved it, and somehow it made total sense to everyone. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism.

Hire DJ Luke! It will be the best decision you make for you special day.

When Paul and I started planning our wedding two years ago, we knew Luke (B) was a must have. There was no question. He made our planning process easy and continued to check in as we got closer to the big day. I think we were most excited about LRE to be honest. He came highly recommended and they weren't kidding. Luke had the dance floor full before dinner even started and stayed full through the end of the night. We even had to extend the reception an extra hour because everyone wanted to stay! All of our guests have been talking about Luke since September and how he was the best part of the wedding! He based a lot of his music choices by who was on the dance floor and that's what kept everyone going. My family wants to have dance parties with Luke all the time now! Our one goal for our wedding was to make sure everyone was happy and that we had one big party. And we sure did! It was amazing. And Luke played a huge role in that. Thank you Luke for everything!

Recently I was married in Westerly, RI and hired LRE for a photo booth. I decided probably two weeks before the wedding that I wanted a photo booth and I am so glad that I decided to get one especially from LRE.
It was the talk of the wedding and we had a line from the second it started. They were amazing Conor O'Rourke you are the best!! So friendly and professional.
They had all the props and everyone really enjoyed the booth and photos!
At the end of the night it was so great getting an album with all of our guests photos and little personal notes! I LOVED HAVING YOU AT THE WEDDING
I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to have a really good time and to capture fun moments at your wedding!!

After going through numerous wedding expos we had the opportunity to speak with Luke Renchan Entertainment. Everyone who works there is kind, professional and laid back. The experience from a to z never left either myself or my wife with questions. Everything is laid out plain as day and there are no gimmicks. We were very fortunate to have THE Luke Renchan be our dj and let me just say this, HE EXEMPLIFIES HIS BUSINESS! He was energetic and enthusiastic, everyone felt like we were in our own private club! The music he brought to the tabel was exactly what we were looking for. His immense library of songs meant no one had a request turned down. I honestley dont think anyone was sitting during the entire reception. Not only that but the uplighting and chauvet bars that he had brought with him made everything really stand out. It truly felt like we were in a high line VIP club with the level of service.

If you are getting ready to tie the knot you NEED to give Luke Renchan a call. It will be the best and easiest decision you ever make for your wedding (and trust me that in itself is worht it's weight in GOLD)!!!!!!!!

LRE is amazing! They provided the DJ and Lighting for our wedding at the Aldrich Mansion in October and blew away our expectations! From the first appointment we had with Luke we knew we were in good hands. He gave us great out of the box ideas, told us what he thought would and wouldn't work and why, then created an unforgettable event for us and our guests.
Luke is professional, yet down to earth and easy to work with, from chatting with our priest regarding the liturgy music needed, to answering texts regarding adding additional lighting the morning of the wedding... Luke and his team are on point!

LRE was a great company to work with for our wedding. We had a Saturday Daytime wedding in Newport, RI & we were nervous people may not be on the dance floor as much as a night wedding, but that was not the case at all! After seeing our DJ on someone else's wedding video on FB, we found out who he was (Jack Hanna) from LRE & knew we had to have him! The LRE office was very easy to work with & kept us informed! Jack was especially a pleasure to work with & exceeded our expectations!! We met with Jack in person & talked with him over the phone a couple of times which was perfect. He practiced wedding party's names & delivered some difficult names perfectly!!! He brought a lot of new & exciting details to our wedding & suggestions which kept our guests entertained even through a plated dinner which we had never seen at a wedding (and we have been to A LOT in the last 2 years)! We would recommend Jack & the rest of the LRE company with our highest regards!

Luke had our guests on their feet for the entire wedding! He listened carefully to all of our song requests and put together a fabulous set for the cocktail hour and reception. And we were NOT easy customers -- somehow he managed to meld together a wide variety of music and make it work so well together! We'd definitely recommend Luke to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

We worked with DJ Peter, who was THE BEST. Everyone had such a great time, and he had people on the dance floor before dinner had even started. He really took the time to get to know us before the wedding and find out what kind of music we enjoy as a couple. Every single song he played was perfect.
We also rented a photo booth from LRE, and I loved it! They are a great vendor and I highly recommend them! A real pleasure to work with!

We really enjoyed working with Luke for our wedding. Our family and friends had a wonderful time dancing the night away and have given his music selection rave reviews. It was so easy and convenient to work with him! Since we live out of town, we were able to meet with him via video chat on his website and we found the planning tools on his website to be extremely user-friendly and helpful. Luke is without a doubt, one of the best DJs anyone can find for an event. He is professional and can read a group and flex to what the people want for their entertainment. Throughout the planning process, Luke met with us at any time our schedule worked, late or early. He is delightful to talk to and has a great energy. Our wedding was a celebration and Luke was at the heart of the party. He can play diverse music from merengue to pop to the standards and does it so smoothly the crowd never leaves the dance floor.

We used Luke Renchan Entertainment services for the DJ, Photobooth and Uplighting for our wedding. We could not be happier with the service we received with Luke Renchan Entertainment. LRE has a great website set up for each bride and groom to help them customize their entertainment needs. Luke was amazing to work with and meet with us prior to the wedding to discuss the order of our wedding party announcements, how to pronounce names, the songs we wanted played and the songs we did not want played and much more. He also reviewed the details of our photobooth to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Luke than called us a few days before the wedding to once again review and confirm everything. I knew I was in good hands!!! The day of Luke was professional, spoke clearly, informed us of things we needed to know and kept the dance floor hopping. The photobooth was a huge hit and the uplighting looked beautiful. Book with Luke Renchan Entertainment and you can't go wrong. Thank you Luke for an amazing job!

My husband and I cannot thank Jack Sprague-Hanna enough for making our wedding so perfect! It was more than we could have ever imagined. The uplighting was gorgeous. Was always flexible in meeting times to discuss plans and gave us so many creative ideas to make our wedding extra special and unique. Luke is incredible. In planning, he was responsive to our needs and receptive of our concerns. Any time we had questions about services or concerns about cost Luke was respectful, understanding, approachable, listened and made every effort to help. When we made an impromptu meeting to cut a 3 song mashup for our first dance, Luke gave ideas to make it work, make the event flow properly, and made the mashup for us on the spot. At the wedding, Luke read our crowd so well, played the right songs at the right times. It flowed beautifully, with great variety, the dancing never stopped. Also, lighting was impeccable. We took Luke’s suggestions on colors and everyone commented on how great it was. Beyond being a great wedding professional, Lukes a great person. Super down to earth, friendly, compassionate, genuine. Luke and LRE, were so sincere and understanding of our needs, on top of being so incredible at the job.

Luke did an amazing job at our wedding! Everyone had so much fun and I still getting compliments from guests at our wedding. The staff even told us how great he was, and they loved the music selection. The up lighting was amazing and having the photo booth was a lot of fun for everyone too! We loved how professional he was and he helped us with everything we were lacking since we have never planned a wedding before. His timeline was spot on, and was a huge help since I am horrible with time management. Everything went perfectly and would recommend him to all my family and friends looking for a great entertainer!!!

I can't say enough about Luke and all the amazing things he did to make my wedding so uniquely special. Luke went the extra mile–miles, really--in so many ways.

My husband and I gave him little guidance throughout the process. We didn't even give him our entrance songs and parent dances until just days before. We wanted a creative way to introduce our wedding party--he rocked it. We had a number of musical surprises planned, things other DJs would have shot down or asked us to pay extra for, but not Luke. He LOVED our ideas and was HAPPY to make them happen, and the finished product was so much better than we could have even imagined! One of our requests was that I wanted to surprise my mom by singing a certain song to her. I knew I wouldn't be able to get through it live, so Luke had me come in to pre-record it. Not only did we record it ahead of time, but he edited it and cut together different takes to make it perfect. Less than a week before the wedding, we also handed him a list of 12 random songs from our mad lib RSVPs and asked him to pull together a mix for the reception. He did THAT gladly as well, and it was arguably the biggest hit of the night! People thought it was incredible and loved hearing the songs they requested that they thought had no chance of making it.

In addition to all that extra work he did for us before the wedding, Luke had to deal with a faulty breaker at our venue that kept shorting out the power! It happened at the worst times--during introductions, halfway through our first dance, twice during the RSVP mix--and it didn't faze him or disrupt our night one bit. There was no awkward silence, no panicking–no one even left the dance floor! Luke handled it like the consummate professional that he is. In fact, if the lights hadn't gone out, no one would have known there was even a problem!

Luke did absolutely everything with a smile and with the care and dedication of a true friend. So Luke, thanks for everything!! We love you!

We could not have asked for a more perfect DJ than Luke for our wedding!!! He was amazing!!! The uplighting he provided was the perfect touch to take our reception to the next level!! He kept everyone dancing and really made our day that much more special!!!
