Lucy is truly a gem of a hairstylist, and I was so lucky to have had her for my 2-day Indian wedding in Temecula. From the very beginning, her communication was consistently responsive, honest, and transparent. That reliability meant so much throughout our wedding planning process.
I was very particular about how I wanted my hair styled for both days and shared reference photos. On the first day, I wanted a sleek high ponytail, and on the second day, the iconic “J-Lo” high half-up, half-down. Lucy not only delivered exactly what I envisioned, she elevated it even more beautifully. During and after our hair trial, she made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident with the final looks.
What especially stood out is how secure my hair was—Lucy is a MASTER at making sure everything stays perfectly in place. Both days, I wore a tikka and hair extensions (which I rented from her—great quality), and despite the 90+ degree heat, multiple outfit changes, preforming a four-minute Bollywood dance routine filled with turns and hair whips, and hours of dancing at the reception, my hair and tikka never moved an inch. That kind of skill is priceless.
She also worked seamlessly with my makeup artist, even though they had never met before. They coordinated so well to stay on schedule, and the whole process felt smooth and fun. Lucy shared great tips and recommendations throughout, which I’ve kept with me even after the wedding. Beyond that, Lucy and her assistant made my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning. Every single one of them was obsessed with their hair and makeup.
On top of all her talent, Lucy brings such warm, bubbly energy. She’s so easy to work with and you can instantly tell she has years of experience and can handle anything that comes her way. She kept me calm, made me laugh, and made me feel like the best version of myself on the most important day of my life.
If you’re looking for a hairstylist and makeup artist who is not only incredibly skilled but also an absolute joy to be around, Lucy is the one. Choosing her to be part of my beauty team was one of the best decisions I made —I cannot recommend Lucy highly enough! -

Lucy ABSOLUTELY killed it with my wedding hair!!!!! It was perfect in every way & lasted alllll day! She was so responsive, arrived early, was easy to talk to and listened to everything I wanted down to all the tiny details!! Could not recommend her more for any event, wedding, etc!!!! -

Excellent work by Lucy on my wedding weekend hair
I cannot express enough how incredible Lucy was on my wedding weekend! From the initial consultation to the final touches on my hair (including three hairstyles) she exceeded all expectations. Lucy listened carefully to my vision and provided expert advice to ensure my hairstyle complemented my dresses and overall look perfectly.
On the day of the wedding, Lucy arrived promptly and brought a calming presence, which was exactly what I needed amidst the pre-wedding excitement. She worked efficiently and meticulously, creating several stunning hairstyles that held up beautifully throughout the entire day and night.

As a hairstylist myself I was super picky about choosing someone for hair and make up for my wedding. Lucy is hands down the best in the business..she can literally do anything you want and make it look just like the Pinterest/Instagram photos..she is phenomenal. I didn’t even do a trial with her and on the day of she created the exact look that I wanted. She was very skillful when installing my clip in extensions..even blending the root with a little makeup where I needed it to match better..brilliant! Lucy knows how to highlight your best features..I truly felt like a princess and so confident on my big day..not only is she an incredibly talented stylist but her calm and sweet presence really set the tone for a great day..Lucy, you’re the best and I can’t thank you enough!! -

Lucy was wonderful! I appreciated all her care and attention to detail. Throughout my experience, she was kind, professional, positive, and created such an inviting atmosphere on my wedding day. I also very much appreciated her flexibility and openness to collaborate in order to really bring to life what I was envisioning. She and her team did an outstanding job. My bridal party was very happy with their look as well, and we were amazed at how well our hair and makeup lasted for the next 12 hours. I couldn’t recommend Lucy enough for your special day. -

Lucy Luna Beauty was one of the best decisions I made on my wedding day. Lucy was such a talented, professional, and positive addition to my vendors and I recommend her without hesitation or reservation. Your vendors, how they get along, how they maintain a schedule, how they react to change and adjustments is so important. Lucy was not only a phenomenal artist and gave me what I was looking for and more but she always made me feel like a million bucks, made my other vendors feel good about themselves and overall inspired everyone to have a great time. Even when people around her were not producing at the same level, were late, or negative she blew me away with how she remained focus on her creativity and job and maintained a positive attitude. She is one of a kind and her business is one I know will grow. I was lucky to get her when I did! Beyond grateful for how much you added to my wedding, Lucy. My mother in law said she wanted to hire her everyday because we all felt so good about ourselves. Thank you again dear from the bottom of my heart! -

Make Up Artist
Lucy is a true professional. I think finding a makeup artist was the toughest part of the wedding preparations. When researching artists and seeing Lucy's work and reviews I knew immediately she was the one. In our first phone call, she was responsive, professional, and very personable. Meeting her in person for our trial I was reassured of my choice. She communicates well, is attentive to what your desired look is, and is very patient. She made me feel exquisitely beautiful on my special day. I highly recommend her services. -

I did not have the opportunity to do a trial with Lucy because I was coming from out of town. I was a little nervous but she NAILED IT! Lucy and her team traveled to our hotel room and did my makeup as well as my bridal parties hair and makeup. They even helped my dad the FOB with his hair! They did exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond to achieve our expectations. We all listened to music and had a blast together. Thank you so much Lucy and to her team! Best ever! -

Lucy was super attentive and answered all my questions about wedding hair & makeup. She responded to all my messages and she was super easy to talk to.
On the day of my wedding, Lucy and her assistant were professional and made sure everyone felt comfortable. Lucy did my mom's makeup beautifully. She also made me feel extra special with a hairstyle that I hadn't thought of initially doing! My wedding makeup was everything I wanted it to be: a natural look. I did not want to look like I had layers and layers of makeup on. I normally don't wear too much makeup and Lucy knew exactly how to do my makeup so I would be comfortable and also look amazing walking down the aisle.
I highly recommend her for wedding hair and makeup. -

Lucy and her team were the absolute best. They came on time and worked around our schedule. They made the morning so light and fun which definitely helped alleviate all the wedding nerves and jitters. Lucy primarily worked on me as the bride, and nailed the look I envisioned perfectly. Her team glammed my bridesmaids, and did the best job with the look I was going for all of them. Lucy also offers extensions for rent in her services, which was a big plus for me. Not a lot of hair and make up artists offer this, so It was a perfect fit. Thank you Lucy and team for being the most amazing glam team! -

She was so well-organized, professional and great at communicating. We did a hair trial in advance to figure out what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, Lucy arrived on time and assured that my matron of honor, mother-in-law and I were all ready by the time we needed to leave the hotel.

Fantastic experience with Lucy Luna Beauty. Initial contact was prompt & friendly and during the trial (highly recommend doing a trial!) she offered suggestions and listened to what I had in mind. On my wedding day I ended up having her come to the hotel first and then the venue later for touch ups after the first look- she was more than happy to accommodate my request and it went seamlessly. Lucy and her assistant were upbeat and positive (even dealing with my sister being picky about her hair lol). Definitely recommend! -

Hiring Lucy and her team for my hair and makeup was easily the best investment I made for my wedding day. Trust me, my hair stayed put all day and my makeup-WOW- didn't budge. I remember sitting in the chair and then finally seeing the finished look in the mirror and crying because it was such a masterpiece. We're talking perfection on every angle. Lucy makes her bride's feel and look beautiful on the wedding day and that's something money can't buy.
Lucy and her team are incredibly talented hair and makeup artists. Lucy preps your skin before makeup so the 'canvas' is in its best shape. I have some dryness in my skin and sometimes it shows beneath makeup- but guess what- not with Lucy! My makeup has never been this beautiful.
Additionally, I was pretty stressed, having planned everything through covid and so many changes, but Lucy was so kind and understanding and really helped ease any worries I had. We added on more girls to the morning since I was then able to have a bridal party (covid restrictions) and Lucy helped make that all happen. She is prompt to respond and organized and had a new contract readied and sent out to me.
On the big day, I had really hoped for a fun and relaxing morning getting ready and thats exactly what we got and then some! Lucy is so organized and honestly preps you so well for the wedding day and gets all the details ironed out to make sure everything runs smoothly and on time. Lucy & her team ran on time, was kind, helpful and made the morning so enjoyable. Lucy and her team are a dream to work with- hands down the best of the best.
I recommend you check out her instagram for more looks, she is the QUEEEN of Hair and Makeup and I have told all my engaged friends to book her. I cant wait for another event to hire her myself. Thank you so much Lucy, you made my big day an absolute dream! -

Perfect experience!
Lucy did such an amazing job for my wedding, my hair and makeup was perfect and I couldn't be happier. I changed the look I wanted at the very last minute and she was super accommodating. She was also a dream to hang out with for the morning, chatting with my bridesmaids and my mom and making everyone feel relaxed, and showed up early to the venue which was pretty far away. Highly recommend! -

An absolute dream to work with!
Lucy and her team were simply amazing! I filled out the form on her site to ask for information and availability, and I was very pleased to receive such a prompt response from her (I hadn't had much luck with other vendors so I didn't expect much). She messaged me back and before long we were on a call discussing my wedding day looks! Lucy was extremely professional but very personable at the same time and made me feel super comfortable, from then on we had a very open line of communication and the booking process was very easy. The day of my wedding, she and her team showed up on time and were extremely efficient with their set up, and their time overall. I had a pretty large bridal group and none of them had any idea of what they wanted for hair and makeup but the team came up looks that every one loved! Each one was unique and flattering to them but best of all, held up all day! They made my mom look and feel beautiful which was super important to me. Her entire team was very professional, clean with their work and tools, and super personable as well. Lucy later on met me at the reception to change my look, and took me from a soft polished look to vavavoom! I received sooo many compliments and she made me look and feel like the bride I always dreamed of being. She was an absolute dream to work with and I am so happy she was part of the big day. -

Lucy and her team are absolutely amazing! Not only did I love my hair and makeup for my wedding, they did such a great job on my bridesmaids It was important to me that all my girls felt confident and beautiful and Lucy’s team totally crushed it. Lucy is super responsive and extremely professional. She requests a bunch of inspo photos, feedback from our trial, and literally studies all the information to ensure that I was 1000% happy with our looks - I can hands down say everyone was THRILLED. It was a very personalized experience which sets her apart from the rest. Not only was my makeup amazing but she absolutely nailed my hair. Love love love Lucy!!!! Lucy is THE BEST!!! If you want to look AMAZING on your wedding day do not hesitate to book Lucy and her amazing team! She has such a wonderful positive energy that match her incredible hair and make up skills. I went through multiple hair trials with other artists before booking with Lucy and her ability exceeded all of them by a long shot. She was professional, showed up early and made sure she was there to touch me up. She also handled my bridal party and made them all look incredible. My mother-in-law had fallen off her bicycle the week before the wedding and had a huge black eye. She was heartbroken and so worried about it, but Lucy was able cover it up and you could not even tell she had a black eye! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! -

First off let me start by saying... choose Lucy for your hair! I come from NYC and having Lucy for me was a top priority. I am very picky and flew my makeup artist out from NY. Lucy- I hand picked from seeing her work. I was so happy that she was available for me. Not only is Lucy very talented, she is sweet and kind. Throughout the planning process for my destination wedding, she was so accommodating. It was stressful enough getting married across the country but the pandemic added to the stress. Lucy would check in with me (more than any other hair stylist I ever worked with has done). She’s just an amazing personal overall! I loved my hair and so did my mom, sister & best friend (Lucy did their hair that day as well). I wanted my hair straight/messy to look timeless. Since it was a hot summer day, I was expecting my hair to loose all volume considering my party was outside. My hair stayed perfect for 2.5 hours of pictures and my entire party. I am forever grateful I had the opportunity to have Lucy on my special day, she made me feel like a Queen. Any time I need my hair done when I’m in California, I am exclusively using Lucy because there is nobody better!😀 -

Loved my Wedding Look!
Lucy made me look AMAZING! Our wedding was in Pasadena, but I am from the Bay Area. I chose to work with Lucy based on references from theknot and her Instagram account. She is a busy lady, so it was sometimes hard to get a hold of her. Every time we chatted or I saw her in-person, she was so attentive and kind! She is an amazing listener along with being good at her work. She made me and my wedding party comfortable, laugh, and BEAUTIFUL! She was very detailed in her questions and descriptions during my hair and make-up trial, and remembered everything when wedding day came. The team members she brought on wedding day were awesome as well! Some of my bridesmaids were unsure about getting their hair and makeup done, but each one loved their looks when they were finished! I already recommended her to my friend who is recently engaged as well. I love Lucy! -

Definitely recommend Lucy for your wedding day!
I found Lucy via Yelp, and it was the best decision to have her do both my hair and my mom's hair for my wedding day! I was looking for someone to do a sleek mid bun but most other hairstylists really had just photos of low buns and a lot of messy buns.
Lucy was fun and incredibly communicative to ensure that I would get exactly the hair I wanted on my wedding day. And it did turn out to be exactly 100% how I liked it. She made my dream come true! She's incredibly professional and skilled. My hair stayed intact throughout the entire ceremony and reception. I know sometimes a tight bun can hurt, but I felt no discomfort at all throughout the night!
Lucy is an A+ hairstylist, would definitely recommend for your wedding day! -
