We chose Lucille to arrange our flowers at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel! I was and still am completely obsessed with how beautiful my wedding bouquet was! I showed Lucille a picture of what I wanted prior and it definitely met my expectations! She was also reasonably priced compared to other florists I previously looked at. We got tons of compliments from the other guests of how gorgeous the flowers were! Lucille was also easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in what she does! Lucille was awesome to work with for our wedding florals. From our first conversation, she understood the vibe we were going for and offered thoughtful suggestions that made everything feel more cohesive and special.
On the day of the wedding, every arrangement was gorgeous and exactly what we’d hoped for – from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the ceremony flowers and reception décor.
Beyond the flowers themselves, Lucille was organized, responsive, and so easygoing, which made the whole planning process much less stressful. Everything was delivered and set up on time, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Beautiful wedding flowers!
I discovered Lucille’s florist after I had already talked to multiple florists who were expensive and unpleasant without checking all the boxes of what we wanted. When I called Lucille I could tell she was professional and had a down to earth business where she cared about her clients special day. She took all the colors and inspiration I gave her and created beautiful centerpieces, decor, and bouquets. I was able to get all the decor I wanted and more from her. I didn’t get a chance to see any of the flowers before the day, but I was definitely not disappointed! They produced beautiful flower arrangements and I am so happy with them. I am getting my bouquet preserved, and I would definitely use Lucille’s florist again!

She’s truly amazing
Lucille was the first florist I spoke to and immediately I knew I wanted to work with her. She answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel like I was asking too much. I scheduled a meeting with her and sent her the deposit right away. I brought her a picture or what I wanted and she made them perfectly. I feel like I made a friend while doing all my planning because of how easy it was. I also added something last minute and she had no issue with it. Everything looked absolutely gorgeous. All my guests keep talking about the flowers and how beautiful she made everything.

Flexible, personable and affordable!
Due to Covid, we had multiple reschedule dates and Lucille's was so understanding and flexible with us throughout. Initially, I had a sit down meeting where all my ideas came to paper and the details were worked out - they were great with giving me feedback and steering me in the right direction for my vision! The day of the wedding they were on time (early actually!) and delivered the most beautiful arrangements, from the bouquets to the table decor to the ceremony flowers - I was blown away! Lucille was incredible to work with especially through the pandemic she was willing to do anything I needed on any date for me! My wedding flowers were absolutely stunning!
We are so happy we went with Lucille for our wedding flowers! I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my flowers and bouquets and a pretty specific color scheme. We sat down with Lucille and she was able to translate the pictures in my head into specific colors, types of flowers and certain types of greenery. Her pricing was VERY reasonable and she was able to easily accommodate all the changes I kept coming up with after our initial meeting. The final pieces all came out perfect - they were all the exact colors and assortments I had been picturing. She was on time with the delivery and everything went smoothly and as planned. She decorated the church pews, did some venue decorations, and I was so happy with how the centerpieces and bridal party bouquets came out. I definitely recommend using her for wedding flowers!

Felt Like I Just Walked Out of a Garden
Lucille is second to none. Major bang for the buck after having looked at a handful of other vendors in the area. She was able to work with me who has next to no experience with picking flowers, and was so easy to work with. Made me feel important. Everything was absolutely spectacular the day of the wedding. What I appreciated about Lucille is she took the time to go through photographs of her past work to help me visualize specific types of flowers I was considering for my bouquets. She specified the pro's/con's of different flowers and which flowers would compliment each other. I know very little about flowers so this was very helpful! It was obvious immediately that Lucille is extremely knowledgable and experienced! On top of that, her prices were the best value I found in the area. Great value, phenomenal service, gorgeous flowers! Having Lucilles do your Flowers is a no-brainer!

From the table arrangements, to the cake decorations, to the bouquets, everything looked amazing. Lucille was very good at working with us to get us what we wanted for our wedding, even the day of they had no issues altering the bride's bouquet during the photo session. I met with Lucille in her shop to discuss flowers for my wedding. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but was having trouble deciding on specifics. She took my ideas and helped me come up with a full vision. On the day of our wedding, everything was exactly as I had pictured and we received many compliments on our centerpieces and other floral decor. We used Lucille on the advice of another couple who said Lucille is half the price with double the value. That recommendation didn't begin to describe Lucille. We wanted something different--and Lucille created wooden box centerpieces for us with fragrant herbs and Lavender. When we forgot to ask her for something before the wedding, she ran back to her shop on the day of the wedding. Don't be put off by the unassuming shop...Lucille can hold her own with the best! She is really a find.

We used Lucille's Floral for our wedding on June 4 at West Hills Country Club. I cant even put into words how beautiful all our arrangements were! just stunning!! We met with Lucille and she instantly knew the style I was looking for. I cried when I saw my bouquet! Just perfect!! we received compliments all night on our centerpieces as well. Both in the Creative industry, my now-wife and I both knew we wanted to DIY much of the decor of our wedding, including the flowers. However, we had a list of about 20 aunts and uncles (not to mention both sets of parents) who we wanted to give corsages and boutonnieres to on our big day. Living in Queens and getting married in Poughkeepsie, we knew we'd have to work with someone who didn't require us to stop by in person to place the order. I reached out to Lucille a few months before our wedding, sent her photos of corsages/boutonnieres we'd seen online and liked, and she sent back a fair quote right away. We were able to pay online ahead of time so we wouldn't have to worry about dealing with payment on an already-busy wedding day, so that was a huge help. It almost seemed TOO easy, honestly.
Fast forward to the day before our wedding when my wife and I decided "wait a second - maybe DIY-ing our bridal bouquets might be TOO big of an undertaking!" At 4:00pm on a Saturday (literally less than 24 hours before the wedding), I emailed Lucille and asked her if there was any chance she could add 2 bridal bouquets to our order. She emailed back within 5 minutes letting me know that they could do it. At that moment, Lucille was officially our hero for the day.
On the day of the wedding, Lucille arrived right on time with the flowers. The boutonnieres and corsages were beautiful. They were EXACTLY what we were looking for, and Lucille was able to achieve that 100% through just a few emails with us. And the two last-minute bridal bouquets? STUNNING. I will be 100% honest in saying that we didn't have the world's highest expectations for the bouquets, since we sprung that request on Lucille and her team less than 24 hours before the wedding. We were absolutely blown away at how gorgeous they came out.
I would HIGHLY recommend Lucille and her team to anyone in need of a florist. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was working with them!

Lucille was so great to work with! When I first went to see her, I had a pretty good idea of what how I wanted my flowers to look but I wasn't exactly sure. I trusted her and knew that she would transform my scattered thoughts and ideas into something beautiful. Let me just say, I was OBSESSED with my flowers! The floral arrangements on each table were amazing and I wish I could keep them forever. The flowers at the ceremony, as well as the chiffon fabric and crystals hanging from the arch were gorgeous. My bouquet, as well as my girls', were so nicely put together and lasted perfectly!
The girls that worked with Lucille were so kind and professional. Lucille is fun to work with and she really knows her stuff!

I live in SC and the wedding was in NY but she made is so easy for me, every time I was in town she always had time to meet with me! I left a lot up to her and just gave her a direction I wanted to go in and she did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful and just as I envisioned it all....I wanted bright and bold colorful flowers and that is exactly what I got and the price did not break the bank either! She is so talented and has an amazing bubbly personality that makes working with her an absolute pleasure! My bouquet was nice and big just like my dress and it was perfect!! The arrangement she made for the overhang that we said our vows under was absolutely breathtaking....every color that I wanted! I had a hard time deciding on flowers but had a lot of pictures and she really helped bring all my visions to life no matter how many times I changed my mind! Our reception was at Chalet on the Hudson and our centerpieces were included in our package through Lucille's Floral. When we went to meet with Lucille to talk about our centerpieces, we were so incredibly impressed by her expertise and her bubbly personality that we decided to go with her for the flowers for the entire wedding. It was definitely the right decision! Lucille was wonderful throughout the whole process, she made it stress-free and easy for us and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The recommendations she made were perfect and the pricing was incredibly reasonable.
Lucille went so far as to make up a demo of my bridal bouquet, a centerpiece and a bridesmaid bouquet a few months before the wedding so we could see what they were going to look like (they were of course, beautiful!). The day of the wedding, we got exactly what we were expecting and more.
I managed to completely mess up the table count and seating chart, and two days before the wedding, I had to call Lucille, having a mini anxiety attack. She was great - she offered me a couple of suggestions and everything worked out perfectly!
I would not think twice about recommending Lucille to anyone who is looking for flowers for their wedding, or any event for that matter. She was great and we could not have asked for more!

We had an unexpected event in our planning and had to find a florist 3 weeks before our wedding. We were getting turned down left and right from florists because our wedding was Mother's Day weekend and panic had started to set in. Lucille's Floral came to the rescue and not only were willing to do the flowers for us, but also our centerpieces. We have gotten complimented over and over again for how beautiful the bouquets were and how gorgeous our centerpieces were(we used sunflowers in all). In fact, at the end of the night-guests were tripping over eachother trying to get to the centerpieces first to take home. All of the bouquets, boutineers , and ceremony flowers were delivered exactly on time, and everything was beautiful!!! I had a meaningful butterfly in my bridal bouquet, and when Lucille reached my house she noticed that it had fallen out in transport. My flowers were beautiful for our wedding. My bouquet was amazing and just what I wanted. My bridesmaids bouquet were absolutely beautiful and the color of the flowers were perfect with our colors. The boutineers were just what I imagined. The center pieces were the shades I wanted and I took home 2 and they are still as beautiful as they were when she delivered them and that was 2 weeks ago! The flowers all arrived on time.

Lucilles did an amazing job for my wedding. My bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my "garden" wedding. My photographer kept commenting how beautiful the flowers were, and she sees bouquets all the time! The centerpieces were what really made my day though. Lucille arranged the flowers in vintage tins exactly how I imagined they would look. So perfect! I was really impressed and you really can't beat Lucilles for the price either.

We had a great experience with this florist! She had great prices and she was very skilled at her craft! I gave her a picture of my 'fantasy bouquet' and she was able to replicate exactly what I wanted my bouquet to look like. I also got a lot of compliments on how well the flowers looked at my wedding - especially my bouquet and the submerged orchid centerpieces.
The morning of the wedding I wasn't too happy with how the boutonnieres looked (groom's was too small and I wanted the groomsmens' to lose the ferns & baby's breath) so she sent someone over to immediately trim the extra off of the groomsmens' boutonnieres and add extra flowers to the groom's. She also made me some orchid hair flowers from a plant that I had in the bridal suite. After they altered the boutonnieres, all of the flowers were PERFECT for our wedding. She really goes the extra mile to make sure that everything looks how you want it to and I really appreciated that she was willing to make last minute adjustments for me. Overall I would highly recommend going here for wedding flowers!!!

We had Lucille do our flowers for our wedding reception and bouquets/bouts. They looked absolutely amazing and the gerbera daisies made the flowers pop in pictures because of the amazing colors. Would definitely use again.

I contacted Lucille's, disgusted by ridiculous quotes from a bunch of flower vendors in the area. I came to her with a budget of ~$500 and only wanted dendrobium orchids (champagne taste on a beer budget). For $563 I received 6 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, one bridal bouquet and a complimentary rose toss bouquet, as well as 60 stems of dendrobium orchids which I used to make my own centerpieces.
Not only was I thrilled with the price that she agreed upon but when I saw them they were perfect. The bouquets were much larger than I expected for the price and absolutely stunning! They looked like I had paid $5000!

Working with Lucille for my daughters wedding was the best experience I had when planning her wedding.
Lucille and her staff were helpful and professional and always their to give me advice or lend an ear to listen to with what I wanted for my daughters wedding.
Her work is amazing all the flowers she did from my daughters beautiful bouquet to the centerpieces were above and beyond beautiful. She saw the vision I had when it came to the flowers for my daughters wedding and put it all together. It was above and beyond beautiful. I recommend Lucille for anyone who is planning a wedding. She is helpful and goes above and beyond to make the day go smoothly and be a day to always remember. I cannot Thank Lucille enough for all that she did for me in planning and putting together the flowers for the most important day of my daughters life.

The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. They did our bouquets and our floral arrangements for the reception and everything was stunning. There was a small hiccup because two of the boutonnieres for my grandparents weren't dropped off at the ceremony but they made sure they were delivered before the reception started. Overall, we had a great experience working with Lucille's!

Absolutely wonderful. I had such a great experience with Lucille. She understood my theme and concept of the wedding. She and her staff made my wedding look like a marvelous fairytale. Wonderful florist with good prices
We were very happy with the florals we got from Lucille and she had very good pricing. Everything was beautiful. We did need to extra confirm things close to the wedding since we had made some changes which had not made their way into the invoice she sent but after a couple emails we got things sorted out and everything came correctly, on time, and beautifully!

Lucille was great! I gave her photos of what I wanted and she ran with it. During the winter she even did a flower trial of my flowers so I was able to see what they would look like. She also provided gorgeous flowers for the cake.

Lucille was very helpful! I was very surprised when I saw our bouqets for the first time. I could not believe they were real! Lucille designed them in a way where everyone was asking to see my bouqet. The boutineeres were also very beautiful. We also had large floral arrangements made and they were very large and beautiful.

Lucille did the flowers for our wedding on 10/8/16 at West Point. They were breathtaking. I received many compliments and the price was fair! All the flowers were delivered on time and the reception centerpieces were beautiful as well. Lucille also did a great job using some lace from my mother's wedding gown to wrap around my bouquet. Great choice for anyone!

Beautiful Flowers
My wedding day flowers and centerpieces were beautiful.
Leading up to the wedding, it was hard to set up calls with Lucille. Every time I did get her on the phone, she would be constantly talking to someone in her shop. I expected this to happen based on previous reviews.
Also, I spoke to her the week of my wedding regarding slight changes (I originally wanted ruscus, baby’s breath and white carnations in the bridesmaids bouquets, but then just wanted ruscus and baby’s breath) and they ended up not being done. Such a small thing, I know, but I wish she would have remembered.

Lucille was really easy to work with. We exchanged a lot of back and forth emails because I admittedly had a ton of questions! Lucille looked at pictures I sent for inspiration and came up with great ideas for my bouquets. The tables and venue was decorated beautifully and I was very happy with the final product. My bouquets were definitely my favorite part! I took off one star for pricing, as I do think the price was a little high for what we got (the bridesmaid bouquets were smaller than what I was expecting and the ceremony decor was pretty, but bit sparse for the price). But would still highly recommend Lucille!
