Josh and his team are amazing! They are true professionals and made me and my husband feel incredibly comfortable during our wedding day. The pictures and videos turned out beautifully, the quality of the editing was unmatched. The whole team was so friendly and willing to lend a hand throughout the day they ended up feeling more like our guests than our photographer. Please hire them you will not regret it! -

Josh and his team went above and beyond for us. They were incredible-- they kept to shot lists, their upbeat personalities fit in seamlessly with our event, and not one batted an eye when the rain came, our families were crazy, or the schedule went sideways. The photographs we later received were resplendent; we still receive compliments on them all the time! They are truly photos that will last a lifetime and given to us by people who were so kind and helpful on the most wonderful, stressful day of our lives. I have already recommended them to friends who have also used their service and will continue to do so! We will definitely be using Lucas Studios in the future.
A brief additional note: if Josh ever mentions bringing Chase - his lovely wife and assistant, do NOT hesitate. She was an angel, constantly holding my dress, reminding me to breathe and drink water, and even helped us completely unbidden with some of our event set-up, which was totally unnecessary and not at all what they were there to do. I continue to feel SO blessed to have had her, and Josh and Steffi, as our wedding photography service. -

One of the best decisions after saying “yes” to my husband’s proposal!
Josh and Chase helped make our day smooth and seamless. They were so easy to work with, and helped facilitate the flow of events. Josh established great rapport with all of our family and friends, and captured photos we will treasure forever. He caught candid photos that made for some great laughs and memories. Chase was so amazing in providing support, helping bustle my dress, and coordinating people while I was getting ready. Easy-going, amazing photography!
Josh did an amazing job with our wedding photography. We got married in the rain at Mout Hood and the pictures were unbelievably beautiful! We especially appreciated the candid portraits of friends and family that gave my husband and I a window into all the small moments we missed. Josh is so easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and absolutely recommended. Fantastic! -

It has been over 5 years since our wedding but I still admire our wedding photos all the time! It’s one of the most important, special days of your life, but it goes by so fast and it is honestly impossible to remember everything. I am so thankful for Josh and his team for so perfectly capturing not only the big moments of that day, but also focusing so much on the tiny details.
Josh met with us months before the wedding to get an understanding of what we were looking for in wedding pictures. We are all about open communication, and he was always willing to chat and go over details prior to the big day which put us at ease.
Day of, Josh and his partner put in 110%. They captured so many special moments at the ceremony, took stunning photos of us and the bridal party, and then of course all of the fun at the reception! They even went offsite with the two of us at the end of a very long day and captured some of my favorite couple shots. I have to say, the candid shots of our guests chatting and having a good time are also some of my favorites.
If you are looking for a kind, fun and professional wedding photographer, Josh Lucas fits the bill. We are so thankful we chose him to document our wedding; his photos bring to life that special day and we will cherish them forever.
