Shawn perfectly captured our special day!

We have to break the tissues out every time we watch our video! It is absolutely beautiful! Shawn captured every special moment (looks, words, and true emotions) from our big day — our video is the perfect lifelong keepsake! We are so grateful for his time and efforts in prioritizing our preferences and keeping our day flowing smoothly! Cannot thank the team enough!

Look no further! Shawn & Justin saved our wedding night. We endured some unfortunate weather and the video is INCREDIBLE. He kept us in high spirits all night too while the weather was working against us... he made it all seem easy and fun. He showed me footage on the night of our wedding too and it got me so excited. You will not regret this decision - it is so worth IT! a video and memories you will have forever!!

A wedding videographer is one of the best investments you can make for your special day, preserving the memories forever. We couldn't imagine a better videographer than Lowcountry Wedding Films. Shawn and Justin are absolute pros - were amazing to work with on our wedding day and the finished product is better than I ever imagined. They captured and curated the best moments from our wedding. We have already watched our video so many times and love being able to relive such an amazing day! Especially in the times of covid when many loved ones could not join live, the video is that much more special. Could not provide a higher endorsement or recommend more!

Lowcountry Wedding Films is absolutely amazing! They are extremely talented and create a beautiful story of the entire day/night using the ceremony audio and speeches to narrate the video. Shawn was so helpful when we ran into a bind having to reschedule our wedding from May to July. We called him just one month out looking for a cinematographer and he was very accommodating. They were SO fun to work with throughout the entire day and made sure to capture what was most important to us. CHOOSE THEM!! I promise you won't be disappointed. They are the perfect choice if you want a beautiful wedding video that you can keep forever.

Hands down the best decision i made!!

If you are looking for a wedding videographer, look no further than Lowcountry wedding films. Shawn and his team are amazing to work with and they really make you feel comfortable which is HUGE as your day can sometimes be stressful. This video that they created for us will be cherished forever. We cannot help but get a huge smile on our faces when we watch this video. A Joy on the Day of & Created Something We Will Never Forget

LowCountry Wedding Films' videos, the main video, the collection, everything, are just beautiful. Remembering the day we engaged y'all, we are so so so thankful we got them on board before someone else snagged them. Even more than how amazing these videos turned out - working with Jessie and Travis on the 9th, was a joy. They made us feel so comfortable, they worked well with our photographers, and we felt like they were truly part of our wedding guests. For those on the fence about a video vs. no video, we can honestly say you will never regret capturing those moments to share together again, with your guests, with those that could not be there, and to share with your current (and future) family. The videos were executed in a way that captures us as a couple and all the "feels" of our day. We will treasure these for the rest of our lives, and sincerely thank LowCountry Wedding Films for being a part of our day. PS - we loved their work so much, we are having them refine the footage of the full day so we can have it (and of course see the many things we probably missed)!

Beautifully candid!!

Shawn & the team at Low Country are amazing at what they do! They made our wedding day so effortlessly fun, while getting some beautifully candid shots. They did beautiful Ariel footage of the venue and even were able to send us a sneak peek of our film just days after the wedding - which was such a pleasant surprise to receive on our honeymoon. We cannot imagine our special day without this talented videography team!

Easiest Decision you will make!

Including Shawn and Justin of Lowcountry Wedding Films in our wedding day is one of the best decisions we made during our planning. After seeing our 1 minute teaser, my initially reluctant husband immediately said he was glad we made the decision to hire videographers and specifically these ones. Watching the footage, they seemingly were EVERYWHERE, but “day of” we had no idea they were even around.. and when they were around, they put all of us at ease and fit naturally into our day - fun and professional! We will call this one of our best decisions for years to come!

We love our wedding video collection!

We are so happy we chose Lowcountry Wedding Films to be our wedding videographer! First, you barely even knew they were around on the wedding day (not invasive or distracting)! Even better, the video collection we received was incredible and exceeded our expectations. The editing, content, all of it was of the highest quality! We especially loved the drone footage to capture the beautiful scenery of Kiawah. We originally were not going to hire a videographer, and after seeing what Lowcountry Wedding Films did for us, it was definitley worth the extra investment!

Highly Recommended!

We highly recommend Lowcountry Wedding Films and loved working with Shawn! The team was very professional, responsive, experienced and a fun addition to our wedding crew. Our wedding day was very rainy and they had no problem strolling around in the rain to get the shots we wanted and they really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day. They were able to capture all the great moments and yet went unnoticed by our friends and family who didn’t realize we had a videographer until they saw the final product. They are extraordinarily talented and did an amazing job creating a film that summarized our day beautifully and exceeded our expectations. I was skeptical that a short film would be worth it but I’m so glad we have this keepsake that captures moments pictures alone can’t quite get, like the speeches and lots of little giggles, big laughs, and some awesome dance moves. Absolutely Amazing!

“Wow” is the best word I can use to describe Shawn and the Lowcountry Team. From everything leading up to the wedding to the actual big day, they were very professional and easy to work with. Their flexibility to create a video with your own touch/taste meant a lot to us and was accomplished through a very detailed questionnaire that is filled out a few months out. They took to the time to know us and it showed in the final product.

When the big day came, Shawn and the team worked tirelessly to capture every moment, but somehow did so unnoticed! After only a week, we received the teaser video which was breathtaking. The video quality, the transitions, the music, the events captured… it was perfect. This stayed true with the final video and website which featured a ton of raw footage – the entire ceremony, speeches, first dance, etc. When re-watching everything (which we’ve done a million times in just a few weeks), you feel like you are doing the day all over again.

Shawn and Team, thank you for being a huge part of our perfect wedding!

Shawn and Justin are AWESOME!! We completely lucked out with a last minute (read: the month prior to the wedding) request and they were THANKFULLY available. Shawn was super quick to respond and customize a package for our intimate wedding. I was planning everything from afar and he made the process so easy. We booked Low Country Wedding Films for our wedding on November 4, 2017. Shawn and his team were amazingly personable and captured so much more than I think we could possibly imagine. Shawn worked great with our photographer and in such great sync. We decided 2 weeks before our wedding that we wanted a videographer, and I am so extremely happy that we did. Low Country Wedding Films was recommended to us and they just so happened to be available on our wedding day - lucky us! Shawn was quick to respond and very accommodating and the end result was more than I could have asked for. He complied all of our favorite moments from the ceremony, speeches and dancing. I can not say enough great things about Shawn. He was so quick to respond to my emails and he knew exactly what I wanted in my video. He traveled from Magnolia Plantation to downtown, which he didn't have to do. He spent more time with us than our photographer did getting the best footage. I could not be happier with how our video turned out. It was well worth the money!!

Thank you Shawn & Team for creating stunning memories that we will be able to enjoy for our lifetime. If there is one thing we can recommend to any couple, it is to capture your wedding day on video. Some couples maybe wondering if a photographer is enough, my husband and I are coming up on our 5th year anniversary and being able to watch a video again is priceless. It is such a crazy day and by the end of it you won't believe it is already over and the details may be a blur as they were for us. Then, we received our videos from Lowcountry and while watching them, we truly re-lived our special day and were able to enjoy all the moments that were so very special to us and even the moments that we missed. These are not just videos, the Lowcountry team are artists that created a stunning work of art that melts our hearts every time we watch them. Our wedding was a little over a week ago, and we already received our sneak peek video exactly a week from our wedding date! Shawn and his crew were incredible!! I was a little concerned about having two photographers and him and his crew around on the wedding day, worried that it would be intrusive to us or our guests and that could not have been more wrong! Shawn was amazing and did such an incredible job getting amazing shots without being in the way AT ALL!! A few of our guests even said, "wait, you had a videographer there?" which is EXACTLY what we were hoping for! We've all been to weddings where it feels like the videographer is in your face the whole time, and that was not AT ALL the case with Shawn and his crew. He blended right in and did an AMAZING job getting such great shots of everything from the entire day! He was a JOY to work with, and did such an amazing job capturing our special day! We anxiously await our full length video, but judging from the sneak peek, we know it will be PERFECT! He was open to everything I asked him to do, and was sure to capture the moments that were most important to me and my groom on the day of our wedding! He was professional and sweet, and commented on how beautiful our wedding was! The editing in the sneak peek film is amazing and the video makes us cry every time we watch it! Can't recommend Shawn and his crew highly enough, they were amazing!!

Shawn and his team did an amazing job! My fiance did not think we needed a videographer, but at the last minute I decided we had to have one. Luckily Shawn was available. I cannot imagine not having this footage. They went above & beyond what I had expected. They were organized, captured every moment & even got drone shots which really highlighted our beautiful venue. We had the absolute best experience with Lowcountry Wedding Film! LWF was recommended to me by a friend that was married in Charleston, and I loved the video they created for her wedding, I knew I wanted to interview them. Shawn was so easy to work with, he was very responsive and right off of the bat he was willing to work with us on special things that we wanted to include in our package, and things that we didn't. On the day of the wedding, LWF was prompt and did a wonderful job of capturing EVERYTHING- all while managing to remain "behind the scenes" and unnoticeable. What is truly amazing, though, was how stunning our wedding film is- I was married 6 months ago and I continue to cry every time I watch the video. They are masters at their craft, seamlessly telling the the complete story of your wedding day and devoting enough camera time to all aspects of the day so that it seems like you can relive your day in the 20-25 minute film they prepared. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this vendor, I highly recommend them!

This company was great to work with! When I was looking around for a videographer I just fell in love with his style. I found myself crying watching clips of other weddings he had done. He definitely did not disappoint. He was very flexible to work with. I gave him the schedule for the day and he was there when I asked him to be. I honestly forgot he was there during the wedding because he stayed in the background and wasn't in our faces with a camera. When I got the video back I was so amazed by all the things he had caught on camera that I didn't even see or notice. He also caught on camera every single special moment that I requested. It is such a treasure that I can't wait to watch over and over for years to come.

Shawn and his team were truly amazing. The video of our wedding day they created was nothing short of a professional masterpiece. You could not tell it apart from a box office hit! I looked at every videography service in Charleston and Lowcountry Films was leagues beyond the others in quality of product (film) and experience. I was most impressed by several things:
-they provided us a several paged detailed questionnaire several months before the wedding asking us about many important things WE wanted filmed/covered in the video (people, parts of the service, moments) to be sure nothing was left out. They were thorough. Because of that I was confident going into the day nothing important would be left out, and it was not.
-they had each of us (me and my husband) write a letter to each other and read on the video in our own voice. VERY cool effect. watch a sample video to see this
-they filmed both me getting ready in bridal suite and my husband getting ready with the best man. many films get the bride, but not the groom getting ready. it was nice to have footage of my husband.
-their music choices were incredibly creative and fit the tone/each scene perfectly
-they blended in silently day of. I was very worried hiring videography for my wedding that it would be a loud and bulky crew, but I did not even know Shawn and his assistant were there most of the day. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. They were quiet and effective. (very important on your wedding day)
-most importantly, they created this amazing thing called a "slow motion video booth." Guests got it in with costumes, made crazy movements, and they slowed it down and made a video of it to music. It turned out unbelievably cool. You have to see their website to view one to appreciate it. But you should NOT have a wedding without one. I was over the moon impressed.
They were amazing! I would rate them 6 out of 5 if I could, and hope to use them again some day for another important event!

Shawn was such a pleasure to work with and we are beyond impressed with the work he did. We have watched our wedding video multiple times since recieving it and it brings tears to my eyes every time. Shawn has a way of making you feel like you are in that moment all over again and to me that is priceless. Really enjoyed working with these guys- the quality of the production was awesome- especially with the drone! They were in the background and did their thing which made it easier for me to interact with friends and family!

If there is one thing I could recommend having from your wedding that is absolutely a must it is a videographer! Someone that can capture your wedding both in a creative way while still capturing the raw emotion of the day. Shawn and the LC team did just that. We absolutely could not be more happier, thrilled and excited for how our video turned out and have received many compliments from family and friends who had no idea they were being filmed on how nice the quality of the video was. Our wedding video is something we will cherish forever and we could never thank you all enough for the time and effort you put into our wedding day!

Words cannot express our feelings for the films that Shawn and Travis put together for our wedding (they are films, not videos). I watched it first and my jaw was on the floor the entire time. I normally do not get excited over that kind of thing, but they created something truly special. I have had countless people comment to me that it is the best wedding film they have ever seen (many have not seen anything like it). It has everything I could have ever hoped for, and so much more. I knew after my first phone conversation with Shawn that I wanted to work with him, and my initial read and intuition was spot on. Further credit should be given considering the fact that I called only a month before our May wedding (as a last minute surprise gift for my bride-to-be). Shawn made a few phone calls and got right back to me, and Shawn and his team worked flawlessly with our photographer to put together the surprise gift.

The film will bring me and my new family and friends excitement and happiness for decades to come.

I cannot explain how much I appreciate Shawn and Travis for completing our masterpiece in Kiawah.

Shawn Whittington did a phenomenal job as videographer for our wedding. He is very responsive and very professional. He arrived early & made sure he captured each special moment. You are never really aware of his presence as his videographer assistants do a great job of ensuring they capture special moments from a distance so as not to create any distraction. He is very prompt and delivers an exceptional product and service. I highly recommend using Lowcountry Wedding Films!

Shawn could not have been more helpful! Short story - all 4 of my grandparents were suddenly unable to attend due to illness, and I had not booked a videographer - 2 weeks before my wedding, I realized I needed to capture our ceremony to share with them. Shawn went out of his way, to call several of his fellow videographers to find someone to help us - was an exceptional professional and the nicest guy to talk with. I am only sorry that I did not find him sooner to book him!

My husband and I LOVED working with Lowcountry Wedding Films! We are beyond pleased with the amazing film they produced for us! We'll cherish it forever. Deciding to book Shawn and his team was one of the best investments we made when planning our wedding. They are definitely professionals! Lowcountry Wedding Films was with us from start to finish on our big day (and during our rehearsal party the night before). They captured so many special, candid, loving and funny moments. Your wedding day flies by in a flash. So it's immensely important to capture it not just with still pictures, but also video. Our video turned out fantastic! During the whole process of before our big day, to the actual day, and the days and months to follow they kept me in the loop constantly. I was so thrilled with how they made our special day really come to life on video. When I get my package in the mail, I was so excited, when I opened the box the excitement didn't stop. They had wonderful packaging to make our video's as beautifully packaged as they do on the screen.

What can I say about Lowcounrty Wedding Films that will do them any justice of the happiness they brought to my wedding day? I really don't know...
My husband and I hadn't thought about a videographer for the wedding and honestly hadn't even budgeted for one, but after this we had to have him film our wedding!
Working with Shawn was wayyyy too easy. He's laidback and understanding and gets that this is one of the most important days in your life. To say that he is the Spielberg of wedding films sounds exaggerated and silly, but it's true. They showed up early in the day and stayed with us through the entire event, and it went late, very late. =) They got to know our guests and everyone complimented me on how kind they both were!
When the video trailer (3 minute highlight) was ready I must have watched it 15 times in a row, every time seeing something new, something that I missed during the day, or didn't get the opportunity to see and it made my heart smile. The laughs that friends and family were having, the moments between my husband and I, it was something that my photographer (though he was fantastic also) just couldn't capture.
The final product came tied up in a cute little box filed with DVDs of all sorts of fun stuff! The early part of my husband and his groomsmen out in the morning, myself with my bridesmaids, the 30 minute wedding video, our entire ceremony and what seemed like hours and hours of dancing and everyone having a great time.
Bottom line. Hire this company. If you don't have room in your budget, make it. It will be one of the more cherished memories you have from your wedding day. I promise.

Shawn & his team did a great job at our daughter's wedding in Hilton Head. They were everywhere and blended into the background so well you didn't even know they were there most of the time. They got some great shots, did a fantastic job at editing and gave our kids the best video I could have hoped for. They were always on time and very professional throughout the entire process.

If you're on the fence about getting a videographer, get off the fence and hire Low Country Lens. It was by far the best thing we spent money on. The quality of the video is amazing. These guys are truly talented. It looks so professional... Not cheesy at all. The guys are so nice and you don't even realize they're there. Then a few weeks after the wedding is over, you get this unbelievable video to remind you how awesome the day was. You will not be sorry.

AMAZING!! Shawn and his crew are great! The time and attention to detail is nothing less than amazing. He takes great pride in the product he delivers and it shows!! Poor guy even sat through me getting my hair and make up done for 2 hours!! Then suffered through the drama of my photographer, and tried to do everything he could to make sure he got the shots she "didn't have time" to do. So they do film and still shots! Amazing!!! The cost is very reasonable for the quality of the product you get, and this is your wedding so you want it to be perfect. Everything goes by so fast, so having a quality video is worth the splurge.

Shawn and his team were absolutely amazing! They were great to work with leading up to our wedding day, responsive and helpful. On our wedding day we barely noticed they were there, but they were there ALL day and got perfect shots. We just received our wedding film and it is out of this world. The quality is top notch. Shawn perfectly pieced together the parts of our wedding day, giving is impressive artistic style. I would HIGHLY recommend Lowcountry Wedding Films.

Do Not Use Lowcountry Wedding Films

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!!! We had to postpone my daughters wedding due to Covid 19 and our moral obligation to our elderly family and friends. I asked Shawn to refund my deposit of $1,350 as we didn't know when the wedding would be rescheduled.. His response was disturbing to me. He asked me who was making me cancel the wedding. My response: My moral obligation to my family and friends not to expose them to this virus (many whom are elderly and have underlying health issues). He then went on to tell me the deposit would not be refundable because it would cover the cost of writing the quote, writing a contract and setting up a portal. Really Shawn, $1,350 to write a quote and contract which is normally done for a prospective client anyway. Other wedding vendors are refunding our deposits without question. Could have done the right thing knowing what everyone is going through but choose to be greedy. Beware of this vendor.
