We had the BEST experience with Loving Celebrations, and in particular, Jim! We opted to complete premarital counseling with him as well, and we're so glad we did. Jim helped my now-husband and I fine-tune our communication strategies, identified our strengths and growth areas as a couple, and helped us talk through our differences in our growth areas. Throughout premarital counseling, we always looked forward to our sessions together as we feel that we not only hired a wonderful officiant, but also gained a friend. Jim is not only knowledgeable and caring, but also just a genuinely cool person to talk with. We learned so much from him.
Jim was a dream to work with throughout the whole process. We were delighted with our ceremony. It was very skillfully crafted and was the perfect blend of humor and tender moments. We especially loved Jim's call for support from family members. Everything about our ceremony was perfect, and we have Jim to thank for that!
We would highly recommend Jim and Loving Celebrations a million times over. Jim is the best! -

We have nothing to say besides great things about Jim! From our very first meeting he made us feel comfortable and we knew we could trust him on our special day. He was very patient and kind and made rehearsal so easy and seamless. Everything went great on our big day! We highly recommend him! -

Jim made our big day amazing!
We can’t say enough good things about Jim. We planned our wedding by ourselves, which can be a little overwhelming, especially for the ceremony, but Jim helped us with figuring everything out including coordinate with our DJ and day of coordinator. Everything went super smoothly on our big day. We highly recommend having Jim host your next ceremony and you will not be disappointed! -

Jim was the best!
Jim was awesome to work with! He made me and my husband feel comfortable and confident that everything would go smoothly on our wedding day. We had great communication with Jim leading up to the wedding and helped us with any questions we had. -

In hiring an officiant, we looked pretty hard & extensively to find someone who would fit in well with our views and someone who we would be honored to have officiate us. In finding Jim through Loving Celebrations, we instantly knew we had our officiant just by looking at his reviews on wedding wire. It confirmed once we got to speak to him ask well. Jim took the time to pre-marital counsel us and went above and beyond in making sure we felt we discussed all we needed to discuss before our wedding day. On our wedding day, it was a pleasure to truly know our officiant who was leading in our marriage. Not only did do an amazing job, we had so many compliments on Jim and how well of a job he did. He is personal, caring, truly wants to know his couples he marries. I cannot suggest Jim enough! -

Extremely professional, reliable, and caring
We highly recommend Rev Jim. We first connected via WeddingWire. Then via text and phone call. We met in personal to plan out our ceremony. Rev Jim was most helpful and very attentive to our exact vision.
Rev Jim was available to us anytime we needed him or had a question. Very prompt with his replies.
At tbe Rehearsal, Rev Jim, by our request, coordinated the rehearsal and had GREAT patience with us and some family members. He made some excellent suggestions from his tremendous experience.
On the day of our ceremony, Rev Jim, was early to the church and ready to go whenever we were. He performed the ceremony to perfection. And never missed a beat when a 86 year old relative did not know how to silence or turn off their phone, ir when our 4 year old flower girl fell haha, during the ceremony.
We highly recommend Rev Jim to perform any type of wedding.

Pastor Jim was on our wedding day. He is very professional, kind and intelligent. He always listens you and arrange ceremony in the way you want and responds quickly back though the phone and emails. We did not worry on my wedding day, because I knew he will make it perfect. We had rehearsal day with him where he explained all details of ceremony process (where to go, what to do…) and how to make a good photos on stage. We were happy to have pastor Jim by our side. Thank you for your support and help! -

We worked with Jim as our officiant and we LOVED it! He goes over everything with you during the consultation appointment and really respects your wants and needs during the ceremony. He is never late to anything for us, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time during the ceremony. We really appreciated his understanding throughout the process when we had questions or my planner had to change timelines. Go with Jim! He will make everything flow super smoothly! -

Jim is the outstanding officiant to choose for your wedding ceremony! The Loving Celebration website is informative and easy to navigate. Jim provided my now husband and I relatable, understanding premarital counseling that we still implement today post-wedding. The pricing is up front and reasonable. Jim is empathetic in conversation and flexible with scheduling. He made our ceremony and vows memorable and thoughtful. He was a significant part of our day. He was also an officiant to our friends who he also married, so that says something great! He's married so many couples, and we appreciate his experience, patience and honesty. We would choose him again. -

Jim - Cool, Calm, and Confident!
Jim did an amazing job as an officiant for our wedding. As with any wedding, there were a few hiccups as the ceremony began, such as people arriving late, a few people not 100% sure about what to do, but Jim was able to take control of the situation whenever needed and made it the hiccups unnoticeable. He has a ton of experience and was able to give us plenty of heads up about things to look out for/think about during our ceremony. We also used Jim for Marriage Counseling before the wedding which we would recommend to anyone about to embark on this special journey. We would recommend Jim to anyone for their special day! -

We had the opportunity to see Jim 'in action' at a friends wedding. They had rave reviews of their premarital counseling with Jim, and he did an excellent job officiating their ceremony - and we didn't yet have an officiant for our upcoming wedding, so we were excited to have a great one just fall into our laps! We elected to do premarital counseling as well as have Jim officiate (which he was gracious enough to accept despite being out of state!). The premarital counseling was probably one of the best decisions we have made as a couple. Jim was so easy to talk to, which helped us feel comfortable opening up in some of those important conversations. On top of our own conversations, we felt like we got to know Jim just as much as he got to know us. It was important to us to not feel as if we were being married by a stranger, so this was a win-win all around.
As far as officiating, Jim is a true professional. He asked us all the right questions as far as what we wanted him to do and say at the ceremony. We especially loved how he served as the 'master of ceremonies' on the day of and really let our guests know what to expect (and we had so many guests comment about how they loved this too!). Jim is friendly, genuine, and welcoming and that really shone through not only on our wedding day, but throughout our time together. Jim was the cherry on top of our perfect ceremony and I would recommend him to anyone! -

Our wedding officiant, Jim Mustain, deserves all the stars in this review! From the moment I stumbled upon his friendly face and read the heartwarming reviews, I knew he was the perfect person to guide us through one of the most important moments.
We had a multicultural wedding -- my husband is Indian and I am from Peru. It was important that for our western ceremony we honored my family's Catholic roots as close as possible. From the very beginning, Jim took the time to get to know us as a couple, understand our vision, and address our questions as we prepared for our big day.
Jim's dedication was evident throughout the entire process. When the day/moment came, he managed to create an atmosphere that was both reverent and joyous, a delicate balance that made the ceremony feel truly special. After the wedding, many of our family members and friends commented on the beautiful message Jim delivered - his words were not only touching but deeply meaningful, resonating with everyone present.
Our day was truly made more special by Jim's warm presence and incredible ability to connect with everyone (even as he politely asked guests to avoid using their phones during the ceremony). His passion for uniting couples shines through in every word he spoke but also in the way he stays in touch and makes himself available for any marriage advice or a friendly ear.

Excellent Officiant and Counselor
We are so grateful for finding Loving Celebrations! Pastor Jim was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. We opted for the counseling option and so glad we did. Pastor Jim was so patient and understanding, and easygoing. He helped us to craft vows that were both personal and meaningful. He also did a wonderful job of officiating our ceremony. It was clear that he had taken the time to get to know us as a couple, and he made our ceremony feel truly special.
As a counselor, he gave us great advice on how to build a strong and lasting marriage.

My husband and I could not be happier with our choice to have Jim as our wedding officiant. We did premarital counseling with him as well. Jim is kind, encouraging, detail oriented, patient, and compassionate. We really enjoyed each session we had with him, and felt as though it was important that we had those conversations before our big day. He always made us feel comfortable, but challenged us as well. He walked us through every step, and made sure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted it to be. I highly recommend choosing Jim and Loving Celebrations!
