  Absolute Glam Squad!

  One of the hardest decisions I had to make while wedding planning was who to hire for hair and make-up. Thankfully, I was suggested Hey Lovely, and the team was an absolute dream. When I went for my bridal trial, Erica helped me create the perfect look I was going for, and I knew she would be one to trust. Erica and Dee glammed up the bridal party, and I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and make up experience. My make up had the perfect blend of natural meets bridal, felt light, and lasted the entire day (in almost 100 degree Texas weather). Not only are they talented, they are super professional to work with. They came on time, had everything set, and were punctual with completing our looks. So thankful I found Hey Lovely! Definitely will be my go to hair and make up artists for every occasion!

  Hey Lovely is THE best!

  10/10 recommend Erica and her team.
  I had the pleasure of getting my hair and make up done by Erica for both of my sisters weddings, SO when I set my wedding date - I had to book HeyLovely immediately!
  Erica and her team are reliable, passionate, organized, and FUN! I got my hair and make up done for my engagement photos, bridal photos, and of course wedding day! Each time better than the last!!
  For my wedding, I had 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law that all got hair and make up done! Their timeline was SPOT ON. They communicated with my coordinator and ensured everything flowed perfectly on the day! It was so amazing and stress free (bc your make up is something you don't want to stress about!)
  Their passionate about bringing to life the vision you see for yourself...just be careful because you may end up leaving with 1 or 2 new best friends!

  Dee and Brenna Lee were amazing. They took such great care of my bridal party, moms, and myself. They even graciously allowed us to add hair styling at the last minute. I absolutely loved the makeup and hair. They listened to our requests and made us all look and feel beautiful. I cannot recommend them more.

  Hey Lovely is AMAZING! Erica and the Hey Lovely team did hair and makeup for our engagement photos, and then for the wedding for the moms, bridesmaids, and myself. They are so nice and down-to-earth, and made getting ready so fun. We looked like the most glamorous, best versions of ourselves, and the photos turned out amazing! I felt the most beautiful I ever have on my wedding day, and I can't recommend them enough!!!

  I don't wear a lot of makeup and I didn't want to look overdone on my wedding day. I saw pictures of Hey Lovely's work from our photographer and decided to look them up. I liked their natural make up style and that it was a Latina-owned business. It was important to us to support this business so we booked them for myself and 13 other ladies that included bridesmaids and family. Everyone looked great and they all really liked their make up. I just got some pictures from our wedding and my make up looked perfect for what I was going for! I am pretty pleased and I know you will be, too. :)

  First off, I had a trial run scheduled, not even, 2 weeks after hurricane Harvey hit. And instead of Hey Lovely calling to reschedule they called and said they would be doing the service AT MY HOUSE. How convenient! It was so perfect and very accommodating.
  
  Now for the day of! I hear about how hectic the day of is, but JEEZ! We had to do our rehearsal they day of, which really took time away from the girls having there hair and makeup done. I really didn't want the how thing to be rushed... but what can you do? Hey Lovely, however made sure everyone was done on time and looked AMAZING! It was really imprtant to me that my ladies felt just as gorgeous as I did on my day. They really hit it on the nail.
  
  Also! What lifesavers! My husband (eek!) were planning on doing a peanut butter and jelly unity, but we didn't have any of the supplies. Forgot all about it in the mix of things. But luckily! I had ordered breakfast for my girls, which provided peanut butter and bread... half way there. But then Hey Lovely comes in with their perfect jelly they had! :D

  We used Hey Lovely for my wedding hair & make up for me and my bridesmaids and they were great! They were very professional and also have a great team. Dee did my hair and make up (bride) and I felt and looked so beautiful; my bridesmaids also looked amazing and were all very happy with the results. Hey Lovely was also accommodative to my schedule for the trial - I live in New York so they worked with me and fit me in when I was in town. The ladies were all so friendly and personable, they helped make the day fun and relaxing for everyone. Highly recommend!

  I had the best experience with Hey Lovely! They made me and my bridal party feel absolutely beautiful! I have been a bridesmaid 4 times before my own wedding - so I've had my fair share of hair and makeup. They are a tad bit pricier than other makeup artists I have had, but they are also the most beautiful I have ever felt! My bridesmaids shared the same sentiment - they said it was their favorite hair and makeup that they've ever had as a bridesmaid.
  
  Hey Lovely is professional, and accommodating. There was a miscommunication on my end when scheduling my hair and makeup trial and I never ended up confirming a time. I didn't realize it until the day of my trial, and when I emailed them they were still able to work me in that day! I was sooo grateful for their flexibility! They also did a hair trial for my mom, and came back after my ceremony to change up my hair style for my reception! This was what really sold me on Hey Lovely, because I have straight bangs that I wanted down for the ceremony but wanted up and out of my face for dancing at the reception. I would recommend Hey Lovely a million times over and hope to work with them again!

  Hey Lovely was fantastic. They did both hair and make-up for my entire bridal party and both the mother of the bride and mother of the groom at our hotel. They arrived on time and kept us on schedule while making sure every little detail was taken care of for everyone's hair and make-up. The pictures came out great and I would definitely recommend them to any future brides!

  Erica and all the Hey Lovely girls are a dream to work with! I met Erica while Maid of Honor in my sister's wedding and I knew then that she would HAVE to do the hair and makeup for me and my girls on our wedding day. They are the sweetest, kind and most genuine people to work with. She is a big believer in highlighting and enhancing your natural beauty, which was exactly what I was looking for in my bridal look! She was super flexible when it came to trials and other sessions I set up with her. Their new location is a great spot in Houston, not too far away from anything. There are not enough words to describe my happiness in my choice with Erica and Hey Lovely!

I had a 8 bridesmaids so there was a lot of fuss (and some downright rude from my 'maids) in the room when we were getting ready and Sara and Jess handled it with such grace and professionalism. Their work was STUNNING and held up through Houston weather (it rained, was sunny, was cold, and was humid within the hour of the ceremony time and photos - oh, Texas). I actually tested Jess' skills after my trail by going for a run and to boxing in July. They TOTALLY held up and looked near flawless. I am just so very pleased with everything and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair and make-up wizards!

  We loved working with Erica, Dee, and the rest of the Hey Lovely girls! I contacted them 10 months before my wedding for engagement pictures and was surprised to hear they were nearly booked for my wedding date! I quickly booked hair & makeup for myself and my wedding party of 14 for the wedding day. I scheduled the trial to coordinate with my bridal portraits and it went really well! Loved hanging out with them. I had a couple slight changes to my makeup and hair for the wedding day and they got them both exactly right. It was so easy to have them at our house as we all got ready and made the morning stress-free! Erica even stayed a little late on the wedding day to help with one more round of touch ups before we headed to the church. Most of my bridesmaids don't wear much makeup but we all loved how Hey Lovely fixed our hair and makeup! One of the best and most valuable vendors we booked!

Erica and her team are some of the sweetest,fun,down to earth people and it just felt like we were all old friends having a make-up party. I am actually a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding for one of my friends (who was a bridesmaid for me) in April. She also hired Hey Lovely and i look forward to seeing Erica and her crew again!

  I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with these ladies. I can't say enough about how AWESOME they are! They were extremely responsive and were also willing to be flexible when the ceremony time changed and moved up by an hour and a half. They were EARLY too! :)
  
  My bridesmaids and mom were impressed with their talent. All the ladies looked SPECTACULAR on my wedding day, as did I. Being one for a swipe of powder, mascara, and maybe lip gloss, was impressed with how they made me look: Makeup, but not overdone.
  
  I recommend the dry run (especially for hair) since I had a somewhat complicated updo that I wanted for my day. Also, bring your veil (if available) for the dry run as well. The style I chose was extremely accommodating for a veil, so we "lucked out."

Hey Lovely was flexible with me, as I changed my look completely from the trial and ended up adding around 4 more attendants hair/make-up pretty close to my wedding date.   Hey Lovely Makeup did my hair and makeup for my bridal portrait and it was the best experience I could have hoped for. Erica and Kelsey came to the photo location to do my hair/makeup and did EXACTLY what I had asked for, if not better (and we all know how rare that is when it comes to hair/makeup!!) !   I booked Hey Lovely as soon as I became engaged and I’m SO happy I did. I was a bit apprehensive regarding my makeup as I tend to have problematic, sensitive skin. They were very quick to answer my emails and phone calls about the entire process. At my trial consult (which I used for my bridal portraits) my worries were put to rest. Both Dee and Erica made it a very positive experience and answered many of my questions (especially about product ingredients).  On my wedding day, both of them arrived early and were very professional and so much fun to be around-they definitely calmed the nerves.  I wanted a completely different look from my bridal portraits at the last minute and they adapted to my new requests without hesitation. I had a small wedding party (just sisters and my mother) but I still felt that they took the extra time to make sure that everything was perfect and that each one of us was satisfied with both hair and makeup. The airbrush makeup was amazing & I have never felt more beautiful!! Even with full coverage, it didn't feel the least bit cakey. I got married outside by the water, went inside, danced all night long and still never required a touch up. Weddings are so stressful but working with Hey Lovely Makeup before the big walk was a perfect time for everyone, especially myself to relax and be transformed into a beautiful woman. I would definitely recommend them to any of my family or friends for any special occasion.

  Erica is amazing, she definitely has been recommended all over our sorority circle. Actual conversations I've heard: "Who is doing the make up at your wedding?" " Erica, duh!" She's not only a great make up artist but she's genuinely sooo much fun, she's added charisma to an already momentous occasion. On an added note the photographer was quick to point out just how nice my photos were coming out, I felt like such a pretty princess and I wasn't even the bride. Needless to say I love her and look forward to seeing her at the next wedding.

She was able to do the exact look I explained for my bridal portraits and my wedding day. My bridal portraits went so well that I didn't even have to decide on my wedding day look because I trusted her to do whatever she thought was best. Dee did an amazing job with my hair and did exactly what I requested. I felt the prettiest I have ever looked because of Erica and her team. Hey Lovely made such a good impression on my bridal party that she is also doing two of my bridesmaid's weddings! Highly recommended for your makeup and hair needs.
