    Snohomish Barn Wedding

    We only had 4 months to plan my daughters wedding. This was an extremely short time for someone who wants things “just right” for her only daughter
    Rachel stepped in at the suggestion of a friend who used her a couple of years a go. A great decision for my daughter to help with many of the logistics and vendor requests
    Rachel provided exactly what was needed for support patience knowledge and timelines

    Rachael is worth every penny and then some.

    We were lucky enough to have Rachael be our partial planner for our wedding. She is so easy to work with and has the calmest demeanor I’ve ever come across. Nothing phases her! Spence and I were actually able to enjoy our wedding because of her.

    As someone who has issues with letting go of control, Rachael allowed me to handle as much as I wanted to and then filled in the blanks in between. She was able to see the vision that I had and created a ceremony and reception space better than I could even imagine.

    Not only is she excellent at her craft, she is also a genuinely kind person. She kept giving mental checking in on my fiance and me. Rachael always offered us water and food because she could just tell we needed it. What stuck out to me was that she never made me feel rushed or asked me any overwhelming questions. She worked around my anxiety attack and went on my pace.

    If you are lucky enough to book Rachael as your planner, you will not have to worry about a thing. She really has your back before, during, and after the wedding.

    Incredible!

    Rachael was our day-of coordinator, and she made it so easy for my husband (ah!) and me on our wedding week. She attended our rehearsal and absolutely ran the show there, helped come up with solutions to my questions and my vision. On our wedding day, she had the different stages of the day set up before hubby and I were able to think of it. We seriously were able to relax and just enjoy our day!

    Rachael & her team were absolutely amazing! They surpassed our expectations immensely. Rachael is so detail oriented, professional, genuine and so much more.     Amazing Coordinator

    Where to start, Rachael was everything and more. From helping find the right fit with other vendors to asking us questions we had not thought of yet. She helped make our wedding day go off without a hitch. From locating family to be in the right spot. To helping create a special dance with my grandfather happen before he had to leave. I can not thank Rachael enough for everyrhing.

    Lovebug Wedding & Events was wonderful!

    Rachael Eckert at Lovebug was wonderful! We used her for our daughter's wedding at Green Gates at Flowing Lake for the day of coordinator. It helped a ton that she was familiar with the venue. She stayed on top of everything and was so calm throughout the event. I would have no hesitation recommending her to anyone.

    For my husband and I, it was an obvious choice to have Rachael with LoveBug Weddings and Events as our wedding planner. She and her assistants helped make our day absolutely perfect, and better than we ever could've imagined!     Wow, where to begin with the amazing day of coordinator services of Rachael and her assistants! Planning a wedding in seven months was pretty stressful and overwhelming, but Rachael made this experience so simple and easy to understand for someone who was new to the wedding world. When we would meet up before the wedding day, each time she would not only ask how I was feeling about each decision we made but also about how I was doing as a woman who was about to step into marriage. I felt so loved and cared about as an individual, which is hard to find in the mass production and mazes of the wedding industry sometimes. She made each detail about our special day very clear and personalized to match us as a couple. Throughout the seven months, we were in communication weekly about how things we coming, and she went above and beyond constantly when it came down to ironing out the details and being realistic when we needed to hear it. On the day of the wedding, Rachael made that day tick, down to the minute, and her spit-fire self whipped our venue into shape, beyond what my dreams had been. I was a nervous wreck while getting ready before the ceremony, but the things I was not worried about were the flow of the day, coordination with vendors, and communication with family and guests when it was needed. She really was a rockstar, and our dream wedding would not have been possible without her there. Rachael is always thinking 5 steps ahead, and her experience with other weddings and events has given her an eye for details. Her ideas will make any bride feel at ease. The wedding industry is intimidating, but the point is that you get to marry your best friend at the end of the day, and Rachael ALWAYS reminded me of that during our time together. She makes this crazy world look tame and inviting. Thank you again so much to the ladies at LoveBug Weddings and Events for making our wedding feel so tailored to us.     Our venue required we have a Day of Coordinator and I found Rachael with LoveBug Wedding & Events through Instagram. I looked her up and she had wonderful reviews so we decided to meet with her. So glad we did she is worth every penny! No anxiety or pressure on wedding day! Rachael and her assistant were there when they opened doors for us and she coordinated everything from set up, ceremony, clean up and everything in between. Also coordinates your rehearsal. I could contact her with any questions we had during the planning process as well and she was always helpful. So sweet and professional.

    We hired Rachael as our day of event coordinator and she exceeded our expectations in every way. Rachael is very professional and organized.     Rachael was the absolute best person/vendor that we hired for our wedding. We were a little worried about our vision for our wedding day, because it involved so many kids in the wedding party. We were extremely passionate about having all of them involved, but another participant in our wedding day expressed concern about coordinating with so many kiddos. But once we met Rachael, she immediately eased our minds and hearts and assured that she could coordinate without any issues. And she did exactly that. Aside from that, we fell in love with Rachael immediately, and we hope to maintain a lifelong friendship with one of the most important people from our special day.
    Our wedding was a two-bride show, and Rachael never batted an eye at us. She instantly made us feel comfortable, and she tolerated our jokingly playful manners so well. She fit in with everyone attending our wedding, but most importantly, she literally created the most flawless day. All we had to do was provide the things we had to help decorate the venue, and she did the rest. I never had to explain where things should go, or what my vision for the day was-she just created it as if she lived in our heads and just KNEW what we wanted. She helped to create a timeline for our day, and then she stuck to it, and made sure that the two of us, our vendors, and our wedding party were exactly where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there-all while never really being seen. I think i recall seeing her probably two times throughout the entire evening. (Rachael, where were you?!? ;D) One regret is that we never even got a picture with Rachael. Rachael was always on top of everything, flexible, and very personable.
    Rachael, Erika and I truly cannot thank you enough. I apologize ahead of time, because you're likely stuck with us for life. We have every intention of asking you to coffee, dinner, and checking in with you often! :) WE LOVE YOU!!!!

    Racheal is amazing and worth her weight in gold!! She was by far our best wedding investment!! She was professional, organized, and made our day run smooth. There were problems that came up that she dealt with that I knew nothing about. Josh and I or our families didn't have to worry about set-up, clean up, or party crashers (yes we had some). She always responded timely to my texts and emails and gave advice when I needed help. I was blessed to find Racheal when I did! Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Racheal will be greatful to have her on their wedding day. She brings all your months of planning and puts it together flawlessly.

    I would absolutely recommend Rachael to anyone planning their wedding!! My husband and I hired Rachel for our day-of coordinator because we didn't want to have to worry about all the little details on our special day and I am so happy we did! Our wedding ran flawlessly, we received many compliments from guests after our wedding on how the day ran so smoothly and how the transitions from cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, etc. were seamless. At one point one of my bridesmaids had a headache and Rachael even had her assistant run to the store for Ibuprofen! Wedding planning is so stressful, but your wedding day shouldn't be, Rachael really cares about her clients and wants to make sure this will be the best, stress-free, day of your lives.

    Rachael, is absolutely amazing!! She seriously goes above and beyond for her clients. Our wedding day went by so fast but without any errors! I had people who weren't invited to the wedding show up and she handled everything!! Seats, tables, everything! I was amazed and how fast she was able to set up and take apart the day.     Rachel was awesome, as was her helper for our event Tiffany. Coming from the grooms mother who doesn't always have the in on a lot of the wedding details she absolutely kept me in the loop so I knew what was going on without being in the way.. Everything was perfect.. Nothing seemed forced & the flow was amazing. Most importantly for this over emotional mama she kept me calm & knew exactly the right time to step in when my emotions were about to take over with a kind look or a great big hug. I will definitely recommend her & LoveBug weddings & events to anyone looking for a professional & personable party planner.

    Rachael was amazing for our wedding! She helped us prepare everything we needed prior to our event and then was key in both setting up the reception and running our ceremony. She was there to calm nerves, carry out plans, and make everything work. Our wedding was a great time and this is no small part due to Rachael and her assistant being there to have everything set up properly and handle any surprises in stride. She was fun, friendly, and very easy to work with. I cannot recommenend her enough!

    Do not hesitate to work with Rachel and Love Bug Weddings and Events, she was worth EVERY penny. I hired her for the day-of planning and coordination and she was wonderful.     Rachael was absolutely great! She was always quick to respond to my messages and she provided a calm and reassuring presence throughout the planning of my wedding. I planned the majority of my wedding long distance and it was really nice to have her help. And she was also so approachable and easy to talk to! We had a couple speed bumps during the rehearsal and she remained calm throughout the whole evening.

    When I found out my daughter was getting married I decided to do the wedding planning and arrangements, but I knew we would need a "day-of" coordinator. I went to several bridal fairs, but couldn't find anyone in our area, until I came across Rachael's website: LoveBug Weddings and Events. Rachael was completely organized and professional from the very first meeting through the day of the wedding. Her recommendations for Flowers by Tiffany and videographers, Life Movie Studios were wonderful. Her advice, especially when we were thrown some curve balls at the last minute from the reception venue were invaluable. She went the extra mile to help me set up the reception hall the morning of the wedding when I had to be at two places at the same time. Throughout the wedding ceremony and reception she stayed on top of things without being too "controlling". If I had to do it all over again I would hire her as the complete wedding planner, not just for the day of the wedding. She is the best!

Her calm nature is perfect for this industry and on the day of she created such a wonderful seamless day.     Rachael & her Assistant were EXCELLENT! The whole process of planning my wedding was great. Rachael was always available by email or phone (my husband resorted to texting her once and she responded to that!) and was more than willing to help out with what we needed.
    To say that everything during the wedding went well would be an understatement! Rachael & the assistant were absolutely incredible! They were able to keep everything on track, make sure my day was flawless, and even track down my drunk grandma when she went missing. I felt like they were close friends and was sad to see them go at the end of the night. My family loved them, and even shared a special cry together during a group father/daughter dance. I've already referred Rachael to several other friends of mine getting married and hope to see her again for future events!

    Rachael at Lovebug was wonderful to work with as a day-of coordinator for our son's wedding. Even though she was the "day-of" coordinator, she kept in touch with us throughout the planning and offered advice whenever we requested it. Because the wedding ceremony was at a location away from the reception venue, it was essential that we have someone on site to decorate, coordinate, and manage all the details with the caterer. Rachael stepped up to all of the tasks with enthusiasm, professionalism, and CALM.

    Rachael is absolutely amazing! One of the most important traits I searched for in a wedding planner was responsiveness. With Rachael, you can expect to hear back from her in way less than a day. She is great with both email and texting. Super friendly with a fun personality. On our wedding day, she took care of absolutely everything. There were so many small details I would have had to take care of or try to find someone to do for me, but since she was there, I had to do nothing but get ready. She never imposed her thoughts or ideas if I didn't want them but 100% supported whatever I wanted. Not to mention all the great vendors she is in contact with! Even though we were acquainted only a short amount of time, I feel our professional relationship has developed into a friendship. I would definitely recommend Rachael to anyone getting married and need someone great on their side!

    When I first started planning I figured I could do everything myself and didn't need a coordinator, everyone kept telling me a day of coordinator is well worth it so I was referred to Rachael. From the first time I met with her she was so professional and helpful I am so glad I ended up hiring her because it was well worth it. My entire planning process she was always willing to help and checking to see if I needed anything. She changed my timeline 50 times without hesitation and was always quick to respond if I had a question or needed anything. She was full of helpful suggestions. On the wedding day her and her assistant were there for the entire day. I did not have to worry about a single thing except getting ready. I don't think I even was asked a single question but everything was the way I wanted it. I couldn't imagine not having had her and trying to get ready and worry about vendors and where or what they were supposed to be doing. It made my day soooo much less stressful and I was able to just enjoy it. Rachael was well worth spending the extra money on a coordinator, at the very least hire her for day of so your day goes smoothly, you will be so glad you did. I believe a big part of how amazing my day was, was not having to worry about anything thanks to Rachael. You are the best!

    I can't say enough great things about Rachael at LoveBug Weddings & Events! I found her website online and reached out to her and she was immediately responsive. We had a great conversation about my plans for the wedding and I immediately felt a connection with her. I took a leap of faith and hired her to handle our day of coordination without having met her in person (my schedule just wouldn’t allow it). As time when on and we had more and more communication, I was confident that I’d made the right choice. We met a few weeks prior the wedding so that Rachael could check out the venue and she was full of great ideas. On the day of the wedding, she ensured that I never had to lift a finger and was able to enjoy my day. She decorated our venue beautifully, handled all the communication and set up with the other vendors and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Not only is she extremely talented, she is a complete sweetheart, with an awesome personality!     LoveBug Weddings and Events coordinated a wedding at our venue this weekend and we couldn't

    I cant say enough great and positive things about LoveBug wedding & Events. Rachael did a amazing job from everything to meeting up and talking over plans with me to coordinating with all the vendors and did a wonderful job setting up and getting things ready the day of. I had several complements from guests to my Dj on what a fabulous job she did. She made the day go by perfect and helped take so much stress of my shoulders. I couldn't have imagined planning my wedding and the actual wedding day with out her!

    Rachael is a pro!

    Wow, what can I say about Rachael and her absolutely flawless handling of our wedding day. My husband and I had been waiting a long time for this event after needing to postpone due to COVID. Not only was Rachael completely flexible with the reschedule but she managed to make our wedding day better than we could have imagined. Rachael and her assistant set up everything perfectly and ensured the venue was just the way we wanted it. But the true test came when we had to move the entire wedding inside due to rain last minute. Our guests said it was one of the most flawless transitions they have ever seen and that Rachael handled everything perfectly. I know how much effort goes in behind the scenes to pull off an event like this and Rachael's experience and professionalism ensured that this was an absolutely magical day!

    Hire a Wedding Coordinator!

    Hiring a coordinator was the best investment. Rachael was our day of and she ran our rehearsal and wedding day seamlessly with NO snags. All of our vendors knew what time to arrive and where to set up, family and wedding parties were taken care of, and our reception details were set up and looked exactly as we had pictured. At the end of of the day when we were exhausted and ready to go home, Rachael had already packed everything up in our cars - gifts, leftovers, decorations, etc. and sent us on our way. I can’t imagine what the day would have been like without Rachael. She made our wedding so incredibly perfect. We are so glad we hired her!

    Rachael was delightful and easy to talk to. She had many great suggestions and made herself available for meetings with our venue planner. We had much of the wedding plan arranged when we hired Rachael, but she helped us coordinate details midway through the planning process. And had some good strategies for last minute bad weather. The only thing I would have done differently would have been in the exit strategy. We didn't know we would be cleaning up the venue on our own for several hours after the band finished, or we'd have stopped the music a little sooner. I would definitely refer Rachael to friends, though.

    Rachel was our day-of-coordinator, and unfortunately, I think-- given the other reviews-- we must have gotten her on an "off" day. Or, I'm not sure what happened. She showed very little initiative and asked all sorts of questions on the day of the wedding that made us wonder why we had hired her and why we had spent extensive time meeting with her prior to the event.

    Things like, "Oh, are you going to have centerpieces?" (after we had provided an extensive list of all of the decor and where it was to be placed and walked through it with her prior to the day) and "I didn't know there was supposed to be a microphone for the officiant. That's not part of my job."

    She emailed us just before the wedding to let us know that her assistant would be out for the wedding (perhaps the assistant typically does the lion's share of the work?), did not suggest refunding us part of the fee for two people, and things just went downhill from there. She was late on the day of the wedding and ignored basic things we had told her about how the day should go (for example, we provided strung Christmas lights all over the dance floor so that we wouldn't have to use the venue's horrendous florescent lighting. Somehow she decided to have the lighting turned on mid-reception, and we had to ask to have it back off.)

    There was one photo that I communicated was super-important for me to have-- my Dad and I walking down the aisle-- and we had put her in charge of telling the photographer where to stand so he could get the shot. Before I walked down the aisle, she and the photographer were no where in sight, and I refused to start walking down the aisle without the shot. Even after finding Rachel, she refused to go get the photographer, and we now won't have that very special moment captured. Both my Dad and I were really upset. He's had health problems and it's a big deal to us that he was able to walk me down the aisle. This was a really special moment and we wanted to capture it.

    Thank you for your review, I’d like to address a couple things here.
    The questions with centerpieces came when I was putting out the table numbers “mountain pictures.” I had to ask about the names of each mountain picture because I was not provided with this ahead of time. I do not know the mountain ranges by picture. As for the officiate, I knew he was suppose to have a microphone but I assumed (my mistake) that he had been setup with this provided by the venue.
    I would also like to address the music situation. Your brother (2 min before you’re to walk down the aisle) asked me to go ahead and run the ceremony music. He was very upset that his friend who was supposed to run the music all along was not a part of the audience last minute. When I specifically asked about music, you told me that a family friend was to run the ceremony music- and I expressed to you that DJ is not a part of my services. I have no way of running music off your computer and ensuring you all get down the aisle in a timely manner. As for my assistant, I brought an assistant for the setup, room flip and anything else I needed him for. I was never without an assistant.
    I am very confused by the comment of me being late, as I was actually 30 minutes early free of charge (per our contract we agreed to 10 hrs of service) like you had asked me to be- to go over ceremony details since your officiate had not attended the rehearsal. I arrived at the coffee shop at 10:30 per my receipt when I received a message from you stating you were running late. I am not sure how this equals me being late since I was waiting & with you the whole time. Lighting, I would never go ahead and turn the lights on mid-reception for any reason. I had no control of the venues lighting and I am so sorry you thought I had done this. I am truly sorry that you were unhappy, and had you reached out to me I would have gladly offered you compensation. But this is the first time I have heard anything from you.

    POOR Communication!

    Rachael was referred to us from another vendor. Contacted her early Feb with phone call, voice mail, and filling out inquiry form. She returned phone call promptly, seemed quite pleasant, and responded there was a "day-of" opening in her schedule. The next day we sent email and left voice mail stating we wanted her services and asked how to proceed. No response for four days, re-contacted her, and she stated she found our message in her "drafts." She then sent contract and we signed and mailed a $300 deposit immediately. She emailed she received this mid-Feb and stated she would sign her end and send it back to us. By end of Feb had not heard from her, so we sent another email. No response from her, so actually filled out another inquiry form (as if new customer) to get her attention. Finally early March received contract signed by her. This time she stated she got a new scanner app which must have caused the delay. Almost a month's time to get this done! We put this poor communication episode behind us and were still looking forward to utilizing her services, based on reviews and the recommendation from a vendor.

    With a late Sept wedding, her stated policy for a "day-of" was that we'd hear from her three months prior with a timeline. That would be late June. No communication from her at all, especially with the ever-changing wedding restrictions due to COVID. Would have been nice to have heard from her at this time because it was still a possibility the wedding would be able to go on, as it was three months later. Not. A. Word.

    Finally, at the end of July it became a reality that our wedding could not go on as planned. Phone message left with her to call back. Not. A. Word. Email also sent. No. Response. Waited about a month. Still no reply. It was as if we never had done business with her. We felt totally ignored.

    Since you learn a lot about a business and people during times of stress, combining the poor communication from the very beginning with how she non-communicated during the "iffy" pre-wedding times, we just can’t recommend her business. She was nice on the first contact we had, seems to have had positive reviews, so not sure why she was this way with us. We might add the wedding deposit was not returned. Granted, it was non-refundable, but these are historic, extraordinary times and the cancellation was not due to change of mind, venue, illness, or etc. that is usually the reason for inserting a no-return deposit policy. It was mandated by the governor of the state and we had absolutely no control over the situation; the decision was not ours. Thankfully, we did find that our other vendors replied to us and offered to move our deposits forward to another time. Not Rachael. As we never heard from her after she signed the contract, and were supposed to at the 3-month prior time, we can only assume that she had done zero work for our wedding. Therefore, we view the $300 deposit as not getting what we were due.
