Ryan was an awesome DJ for our wedding. He was very thorough in advance planning and consultation, ensuring he had all of the songs we wanted to be played for important moments as well as songs to work into the dancing. Additionally, he did a great job of sensing what the audience wanted to hear and it was amazing to see so many of our guests on the dancefloor. He also had fun dancefloor and up lighting to enhance the ambiance! We highly recommend him for your wedding/event! -

Ryan and I worked together at a wedding in May 2022. He was excellent! Beyond being a very good DJ who got the dance floor popping despite a torrential downpour, Ryan was a natural and charismatic MC.
I was also impressed at how Ryan pitched in to help the entire vendor team. He was pleasant, kind, and easy to work with.
I highly recommend his work and hope to be at a wedding together again soon. -

We hired Ryan literally the day before our wedding due to our original DJ having to drop our event due to Covid. Ryan was truly a life saver. He was extremely professional and was able to fit in all of our requests despite learning them less than 24 hours before. Our ceremony and reception were seamless! We loved how he was able to read the room and kept our dance party going. Thanks Ryan! -

Ryan was a phenomenal DJ! His services exceeded my husband and I’s expectations. He has so much knowledge about music, how sound travels throughout a space, can read the crowd, and provided excellent customer service. I have never danced so much in my life, and have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding! Our friends who are engaged even got his business card and plan to hire him for their wedding in a couple of years. -

Ryan is such a fun DJ and a super great guy to get to know. If you're looking for a wedding DJ, look no further! Seriously, the instant you meet Ryan you're going to want to sign a contract because his energy is infectious. He has different packages depending on how long you need a DJ for and if there are other add ons you're wanting Everything he does, from the pre-ceremony music, to the first dance, and the party afterwards is totally customizable--he will play what you want! Or, if you're looking for someone else to make the playlists for you, you can give him a sense of what you and your guests will like, and he'll take over from there. We had a little fun bit before our grand re-entrance where we wanted our wedding party to be introduced first with some funny facts before we walked in, all to the tune of Eye of the Tiger. It was hilarious, our guests loved it, and Ryan took it all in stride. We also did the shoe game after dinner and he even got down on the dance floor with us towards the end of the night! He is seriously a super chill guy and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. -

Ryan was easy to work with, very receptive to our playlist and requests, and had a fun and energetic vibe. He was professional during the ceremony by helping us with our mics as well as the reception where he helped us party late into the night! Pricing was also competitive! -

Best DJ in Portland Area
I cannot recommend Ryan enough! We had him DJ our wedding in May, and he took the time to meet with us before the wedding to review our songs and discuss the timeline for the day. He was extremely professional and fun. You can tell that he loves what he does, it showed through all night during the wedding. Our guests are still talking about our "amazing DJ". He was extremely easy to work with, kind, and made our guests have a good time. I would highly recommend Ryan to anybody looking for a DJ! -

I can't recommend Ryan Love enough. As a wedding vendor myself, I had very high standards for the vendors we chose for our wedding. We really wanted a DJ who's personality fit with our vibe and Ryan was perfect. We met with several DJ's who were either too over the top or just underwhelming. Ryan was very responsive throughout the entire process. He met with us at our venue before we booked with him and within a few minutes, we knew that we were going to hire him. You can really tell that Ryan loves what he does. And not only did we like him better than the other DJ's we met with, his pricing is very reasonable. He showed up to our venue three hours early, to make sure that he was well prepared and worked well with out coordinator and other vendors to make sure that everyone was on the same page. We had a very small, intimate wedding and Ryan actually got out on the dance floor and did some breakdancing to help get the crowd going. We were so impressed with how well he kept the party going. And then, it was a little early and things were winding down. We told him he could start packing up but then a couple people trickled onto the dance floor and instead of packing up, he went with it and ended up keeping our very small party going right up until the venue closed. Ryan is awesome. I have been sending my brides his way, and I will continue to do so! Thank you Ryan! -

What can I say, DJ Ryan was the absolute man. He was so professional, knowledgeable, sociable, lively, organized...pretty much think of any positive adjective you'd associate with a DJ and Ryan Love was it.
Our wedding guests consisted of different races, cultures, and ethnicities. We had Haitians, Brits, Koreans, Italians, New Yorkers, Californians, and Oregonians among our wedding party. DJ Ryan was able to get EVERYONE on the dance floor with his energy and liveliness. He knew exactly when to play certain songs to get the dance floor grooving!
DJ Ryan also has the most up-to-date, state of the art lighting, sound, and DJ equipment. For everything he provided, he is an absolute steal price-wise.
If you are getting married in Oregon and are looking for a DJ, here's some advice:
No need to look any further, Ryan Love is it. -

It started raining at the beginning of my ceremony and Ryan was extremely prepared. I never had to worry about a thing with Ryan in charge. He did everything with a smile which is rare to find these days! Hire him! I promise you won't be disappointed!! -

Christin Sent on 09/30/2015I was one of those brides that thought she could DIY everything. Why should I spend the down payment on a house on one night. Of course I can just hook up my Ipod to a speaker and jam the night away. Three weeks before the wedding, cue panic attack. Then came along Ryan. I had emailed about 10 DJs, 5 were available and 3 were delusional on how much money I was willing to spend on music. Ryan was so pleasant to work with from the beginning, both via email and via phone. He never pressured me to make a decision and seemed more than willing to accommodate our country music love. He sent a questionnaire to get to know what music we wanted, a playlist, a do not play list, all the songs we wanted at special moments (processional, recessional, first dance, etc.). I don't regret for a moment hiring Ryan. On the day of the wedding, he showed up hours early to ensure that everything was going to sound well. He didn't have a ton of the music we had requested but bought it before the day of (and even bought one the night of at the last minute at my request for our last dance) so that he would have our favorites. Ryan tried his best to keep the dancing going, despite the tough crowd he was working with. I was on the dance floor the whole night and had the absolute time of my life, thanks, in part, to Ryan keeping the music going and being a crucial part of flowing everything together seamlessly throughout the night (cake cutting, background music during dinner, first dance, boquet toss, etc.). I had put a song on our list that the groom's grandma had requested and when Ryan noticed that she was leaving, he ran up to me and stopped her from leaving so that the groom and his grandma could dance to her song. I highly recommend Ryan, he not only runs a great DJ business but exudes a wonderful passion for providing a great experience at weddings for all the guests and goes above and beyond.
