Finding an officiant was one of the hardest vendors to find for our wedding. Anyone can get up and read vows. We really wanted someone that match our personalities. Someone to make sure this most important moment was magical, but also light hearted with a touch of funny.
I met Cee Jay at a bridal expo, and immediately I knew he was the one.
Cee Jay performed our ceremony and nailed it just as we expected. He was as genuinely himself and threw in a few laughs just as we expected. He helped write the vows that really touched on our love story and how we truly felt about each other.
The number one question at the end of the event was “where did you find your officiant, he was amazing”.

Worth every dollar
Words cannot describe how happy we are with CJ (Charles) I truly don’t believe that our ceremony would’ve gone as good as it did without him.
From the moment I called him he was kind professional and genuinely had an interest in us. This is certainly a man who loves love.
He was always available when we try to reach him. And didn’t make me feel ignorant or stupid when I didn’t know how something went.
My family also loved him. A noteworthy moment was when he spoke to my grandfather, whose first language is Spanish I made him feel welcome with some conversation.

Thankful for Minister Jackson (CJ)!
Minister Jackson (CJ) helped me pull off a surprise elopement for my husband, and it could not have been more perfect! From the moment I contacted him to inquire about services and gave him the details of what I wanted, he made me feel comfortable and even provided location recommendations. Although he had another wedding later in the day, he was still able to show up for us and be fully present in the moment.
The words he spoke during our elopement ceremony was sincere and heartfelt. My husband and I could not have chosen a better officiant to marry us. We are sincerely thankful and grateful for CJ! -

The perfect officiant!
Charles Jackson is absolutely wonderful. He officiated our wedding and was extremely professional, kindhearted, and brings levity to the ceremony through humor (in a very tasteful way). Charles truly made our wedding day exceptional! He paid attention to even the smallest details throughout the ceremony and beyond, especially while taking pictures. Honestly by far the best wedding ceremony I have ever attended and although I love the bride and groom a huge reason this ceremony was full of laughter and happy tears is because of the officiant! Very well spoken! In the most respectful way asked/directed guest to put their phones away just as the bride requested and made sure it happened! I also noticed the officiant Charles stepped by all the groomsman when giving part of the speech that led to the kiss of the bride and groom which then allowed the photographer to capture the moment without him in the background! Absolutely loved it!! It was not too short of a ceremony but it was also not too long. Literally perfect! Can’t wait to renew my vowels and having Minister Charles perform my ceremony! -

Charles was incredible. He was up front about pricing since we were a little out of his way. He made sure we understood everything from start to finish and helped us make educated choices for our day. From our very first meeting with Charles during the consultation call, we KNEW we had to book him to officiate our wedding!!! We loved how he went through every single detail of our wedding ceremony with us to ensure it was what *we* wanted for our special day - including making sure guests understood that our ceremony was unplugged. I really appreciated this because I knew I would not (and did not!) have to worry about guests taking random photos during our ceremony. Another highlight/memorable moment of mine was hearing family & friends clapping and cheering as our family, my husband, and the wedding party walked down the aisle - all of which only continued as I made my grand entrance down the aisle! 🤍 These were all the vibes and the energy that we had dreamt of, were looking for, and discussed in detail with Charles! Astounding work!
Weddings are always a bit hectic and first things first I almost forgot our wedding certificate!! Mr. CJ gave me a call earlier in the day of our wedding and we were able to get the certificate before the wedding. I can’t say enough how much I appriciate his attentiveness to us and making sure we were taken care of. During the ceremony his delivery was heartfelt and meaningful. He spoke to the room and to us and back to the room. Just before we began she noticed how the sound echoed in the room and adjusted himself in a place that would ensure good sound control. He was so well spoken I had friend and family member commenting on how well his service was and how amazing he sounded. Thank you again for such an amazing experience!! I would HIGHLY recommend him for anyone getting married as he will make you feel special on your special day!!! -

Perfect fit!
Mr. Jackson was perfect!! He was very responsive and knowledgeable! We hired him at the last minute and he didn't cut any corners! He was early to the venue and even helped check in when we were running late! He made sure we had plenty of pictures and the perfect spot in the building before starting the ceremony! We weren't sure where we wanted to set up and he was very patient! The ceremony went very smoothly, it was short and sweet as requested! He even helped with poses and took plenty of pictures which he shared with us so we had pictures before our photographer finished ours! I can't recommend him enough! Amazing Work!!
We met Charles at an open house, and we knew from the first meeting that we wanted to work with him. His energy is so sincere and kind!! He’s such a light every single time we’ve spoken and it’s been a joy to be able to work with him. We wanted a Spanish speaker, so he added his assistant to make the ceremony bilingual. Unfortunately, things fell through the week off, and Charles worked DILIGENTLY to find a replacement and come up with a game plan. Well, he surprised us by getting a VERY last minute spanish speaker!!! His work is magic and you will not be disappointed working with him. Thank you for everything Charles!!! -

We originally opted for the “Speedy Nupitals” for a quick signing of the license due to other plans falling through. Mr. Jackson must have saw something special in us and decided to give us a quick but sincere ceremony. It was the purest and sweetest ceremony! We thank him so much for making that day extra special for us! What was supposed to only be a signature, turned into a small ceremony and beautiful photos! Can I rate him an 11 out of 10?
My wife and I had some specific requirements for our officiant - lgbt friendly and able to perform a non-religious ceremony. Charles went above and beyond that. As a member of the lgbt community, he fully understood our journey as a couple and we really appreciated that. He’s an interesting, exciting, caring man who’s so easy to talk to and laugh with. He was always prompt with responses and spoke such beautiful words at the ceremony. I don’t think there was a single dry eye there. He was also able to personally connect with mine and my wife’s families so easily even though they come from entirely different backgrounds and cultures. Charles just seems to make friends where ever he goes. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with his services and we’ll genuinely recommend him to any other couples we know. -

Our experience with CJ was second to none! He came highly-recommended from our wedding planner and he did not disappoint. You can tell he’s a veteran as he knows the answer to every question we had! From the initial phone call to the ceremony and everything in-between, CJ was nothing but professional, jovial and helpful! He made writing our wedding vows so easy as we worked together on what encapsulates the feelings my wife and I have for each other. He runs a tight ship during the ceremony — with plenty of finesse — and we appreciated that! Every step of the way, CJ was there for us and we didn’t thank him enough for officiating our ceremony. We highly recommend him! By the way, he’s also a paralegal so he knows the in’s and out’s making sure the paperwork is done correctly; and, if you’re in Harris County, he’ll drop off the paperwork at the courthouse for you which was a cool bonus! We bounced for our honeymoon shortly after the wedding so this was extremely helpful! Are you convinced now? Don’t delay, call CJ today! -

My husband and I were so uncertain about who we wanted to be our officiant. We considered having a loved one do it for us, but last minute decided to go with Charles. YA'LL. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was thee best decision we made for our wedding!! Charles was absolutely AMAZING. Not only did he officiate our wedding as if he's known us for years, he also took photos behind the scenes (He took all the photos added to this review), was the best hype man, fixed my dress throughout the ceremony, helped my husband and I find a quiet moment alone, and made filing our marriage certificate so simple. All of our vendors were absolutely amazing, but we had SO many people come up to us during and after the wedding asking where we found our officiant. Some people literally thought he was a close friend or family member. He was funny, sincere, flexible, and helped us make our ceremony unique to our relationship. We had a nondenominational ceremony that also tied in the Mexican Lasso tradition. The ceremony flowed so well and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Charles!!! -

Words can't truly express our gratitude for you making our day so special. You were the perfect person to lead our wedding ceremony. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. We both felt so lucky to have had you officiate our wedding and you still exceeded our expectations. The virtual meeting with you beforehand really made a huge difference. Best. Officiant. Ever!
We hired Charles for our "Speedy Nuptials"! Wow - I must say my partner and I were both extremely happy with choosing Charles! While I had only had a phone conversation with him the day before, he conducted our Speedy Nuptials and it was like we had known him for years. This is a very special, unique, amazing man and I'm so glad we found him. He met us at the restaurant where we had our first date and married us right there at the table. The nuptials had an amazing personal touch - whether you are doing something short, sweet, and simple - or something a little bigger - you will be blessed if Charles does your nuptials. Love Him!! Our experience was perfect!
Minister Jackson is truly a godsend! From day one he displayed professionalism, & is very down to earth. My husband had not met nor spoke to him prior to our wedding, but he was very impressed. Thank you again Love the One Your With for helping to make our day as perfect as could be. -
