Amanda did a wonderful job! I am the mother of the groom and couldn’t have been any happier with my hair and makeup. She asked how I normally wear makeup, so she could create a natural yet made up look for me. I loved how she styled my hair as well as the bride and others in the wedding party. Highly recommend her. -

She’s the one!
I had an out of state wedding and had done a couple trials with other artists months before that did not go as I wanted. I did so much looking around until finding Amanda. I really wanted the NATURAL feel with my brown hair brown eyes that also did well in photos. I did not do a trial but having a conversation over the phone and seeing her work and talking about what I wanted, it felt right. The day of the wedding she killed it. She started off light and had me look as needed to add or change. She was also so patient with all the other styles my bridal party wanted. She was very organized, communicative, timely, and ready to go in every way! You show her a photo or style and shes got it. -

Loved working with Amanda! She was so responsive, efficient and did an amazing job with everyone’s hair and makeup. Her pricing was very reasonable. I didn’t do a trial run before the wedding day, but she nailed the vision the day of. I couldn’t be happier with how my wedding hair and makeup turned out and would highly recommend her! -

I cannot recommend Amanda for my wedding hair and makeup enough! From the trial to the wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. Amanda was organized and ready to go the morning of. She was also very helpful with making recommendations on hairstyles/makeup that would fit my face the best. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, talented and genuinely cares about your vision and making you look and feel your best, I highly recommend! -

Amanda was fantastic!
I don’t wear a ton of makeup, just the basics, and she was able to give me that natural glow plus a little glam..since it was my wedding day! It was a hot one as well but my makeup didn’t budge, even through some tears!
She also killed the hair! Chefs kiss!
She came up with a schedule and stuck to it!
We even only had a trail run the night before my wedding due to us being states away but I trusted her every step!
I highly recommend! -

Amanda is absolutely amazing!! I would recommend her for any gathering, she has done all of my families weddings including my ! She is a lot of fun to work with, and she gives you her full attention. You are very comfortable with her and she is very understanding with the ideas that you have! She will also do any touchups before you say I do! We use her for every wedding in our family and I could not be happier with the outcome. ❤️ she is the best!! -

Personal Experience
I have had my hair and makeup done multiple times and it was perfect everytime. From Proms, Weddings and Balls. The way my face and hair would feel when complete made me feel like a different women. Love the laughter, good conversations and the professionalism that you get working with Amanda. Highly recommended for any hair and make up for any event you have coming up. Price is very reasonable. -

From the moment I booked Amanda's services, she was so responsive and accommodating. She worked with my schedule when I came in from out of town for my hair and makeup trial and was always willing to answer my texts regarding changes in the number of ladies who will be getting ready with me. When my mom was battling cancer, she reached out to her friend to set up an appointment to have my mom's hair washed before the rehearsal dinner so my mom wouldn't have to worry about it and modified her schedule to cater to my mom's needs. And when my mom passed the week before my wedding, she reached out with love and prayers and welcomed the last minute addition of my aunt. She was amazing as both a human and a professional. Everyone loved their look and as someone who doesn't wear makeup, she made me feel beautiful and natural. Definitely recommend!! -

I had a small wedding with no wedding party so I wanted to find just one person who could do both hair and make up for a very small group of people. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted my make up done, as I rarely wear any, but Amanda assured me a small amount would go a long way and let me assess throughout the process to make me still feel like me. She did a gorgeous job with every single one of us! She made me feel much better when one girl dropped out last minute and another wanted to add a service the day of. Her time management skills with everyone being so hectic are admirable!! I felt gorgeous throughout the entire night. We ended up having our ceremony and taking pictures in the rain, but my hair stayed GORGEOUS and the makeup did not move or slip AT ALL!! -

Amanda was the most incredible addition to my wedding day. She was responsive leading up to the event and truly listened to what I wanted. She completely listened to all the minute details I wanted following my trial and made sure my day was perfect. The day of, she proved to be the most level-headed and genuine vendor I could have hired for my day. So many little details get lost during wedding planning and the craziness of day-of, but Amanda was there as a calming presence throughout. I would request her again, for every event I ever needed in the future! -

For my wedding, Amanda did my bridal hair and all of my bridesmaids, and let me tell you, she exceeded every expectation! My hair was absolutely stunning, and my bridesmaids looked gorgeous as well. Amanda made sure we all felt confident and beautiful.
But it doesn't end there—I've gone back to Love My 'Doo for two other significant events, and each time, Amanda managed to make me feel like a million bucks. Perfect Day!
Amanda at Love My Do was just simply a dream. She helped me decide which look would make me feel my best with a trial, and then perfectly executed it again on my wedding day. Not only does she do gorgeous makeup and hair, she is an awesome person! Amanda was helping me through my nerves with some essential oils to help calm me down, and was just overall such an amazing person to work with. 10/10, hire this woman. -

Having Amanda from the Love My 'Do team for our wedding day hair needs was one of the greatest blessings! From my trial to the day of the wedding, she was extremely patient, sweet, and kind! My hair ended up being everything I could have ever dreamed of, and it held up extremely well throughout the entire day and night of dancing thanks to her great skill set!! She even helped connect me with her top-notch makeup artist when my original one had to cancel. Amanda is fun, friendly, and VERY talented
Amanda did an incredible job with my bridal hair and makeup! The airbrush foundation lasted all day and looked natural & flawless. I loved my up-do and how our wedding photos turned out. I couldn't recommend her more! She also did makeup for my sisters and mom. -

When hurricane Ian threatened to ruin our special day and I had to throw together a last minute elopement, Amanda jumped through hoops to help accommodate my mom and me. I am so thankful for her flexibility to fit us in mid day and so last minute. She and her wonderful work really helped make me feel like a gorgeous bride on my wedding day. Loved the quality of makeup she used. Felt dressed up but still looked natural. -

Would definitely recommend to a friend. Absolutely loved both my trial and my wedding hair. I wanted to change some things on the make up so we booked another trial and made sure I liked it the second time. She and her team came at 7am on a boat in 45 degrees with rain and ridiculous wind so rest assured she will make it in time :) all of my bridesmaids loved their glam as well which is hard to do. Very natural but photogenic glam. 10/10 -

Amanda was very responsive since the day I reached out to her. I was extremely impressed with Amanda and her skills! I have long think hair and I did a full updo and my hair stayed put all night!!! Even after all the jumping around we were doing on the dance floor! I aloud my girls to each choose their own hair style and they all turned out gorgeous!! Amanda is wonderful!
Amanda provided makeup and styling services for both my bridal portraits and wedding. From booking and scheduling up to the wedding, she was extremely flexible, professional, organized, and well-prepared. Amanda also provided styling services for my bridesmaids. She ensured we stayed on schedule (actually finished early) and made the morning stress free and fun. Amanda used high quality makeup and hair products that lasted all day in a humid Charleston climate. She is incredibly sweet and personable - everyone in the wedding party loved her. I cannot recommend Amanda enough. -

Hands down best hair stylist ever
Amanda was literally the absolute BEST!!!!!!! She was so professional, so fun, and so talented! My guests from my wedding are still going on and on about how beautifully done my hair was!!!! They wish they would have had an Amanda on their day! I felt at ease telling her what I wanted and if there was anything I didn’t like. She took what I said I wanted and made it look even better than I imagined!!!!! I cannot recommend her enough! She even stayed after she was finished with me and touched up my bridesmaids’ hair! She has the most sincere and pure heart! You can tell she loves what she does! At my trial she invited me to her home along with my makeup artist and had wine and a charcuterie board! We had so much fun! -

Amanda and her assistant Amanda did hair and make up for my bridal party. They arrived early at the Omni despite parking issues and had everyone completed in time for pictures. My bridal hair stayed in until the next night! She was very understanding and helpful when I decided to change to do an up-do. Despite miscommunication on the included make-up for the flower girls vs. paid, all the girls looked fantastic and had flawless make-up and hair. I highly recommend Amanda! -

Amanda exceeded all my expectations! She arrived early (but not too early!) to the AirBnB where my bridesmaids and I were staying the morning of the wedding. Her and an assistant, Becky, proceeded to do hair and make-up for 6 girls and make-up for mother of the bride and mother of the groom in under 3.5 hours! Everyone looked amazing and was so happy with their look. Amanda and Becky were very professional and calm both about timing and making sure we all had a relaxing morning leading up to the wedding. Our photographer even commented how great they were! My bridesmaids and I received so many compliments and our hair and makeup stayed flawless all day despite being a warm day in May with an outdoor reception! Highly recommend!!! -

Amanda did my hair and make-up for my wedding, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how it turned out! I showed her a few pictures of hair styles I liked and she was able to create the cutest updo that held all night despite the beach wind and humidity. Amanda was so easy to work with. She did both my wedding and engagement shoot hair and makeup. Both times my makeup was flawless and withstood the heat of Hilton Head on 90 degree plus days for hours. For our wedding she did all my bridesmaids Makeup and we were all impressed with the quality. Phenomenal!
Amanda styled my hair for the USMC Ball. I brought her a picture for inspiration and she knocked it out of the park!!! 10X better than the picture. I thought she did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup and everyone else’s hair at my wedding! She worked on my hair until it was exactly how I always pictured! My makeup was beautiful and she even had suggestions like adding eye lashes I didn’t even know I wanted! They looked great, I felt absolutely stunning. She did the hair for all of my bridesmaid, Mother’s and the flower girl also. She put a bunch of time into each girl and went off of their specific wishes. Amanda was so friendly and sweet. Amanda is not only super talented, she’s an amazing human I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for many years. When I started searching for someone to do hair for myself, 7 bridesmaids, 3 moms and 2 flower girls I was certain it would take more than 1 person, but she got the job done by herself! Personally I had a half up-do with very long extensions, and I had a stranger literally say I looked like Beyoncé. I mean, OMG, and all thanks to my hair and makeup professionals! Thank you so much for your hard work and positive attitude! (Side note- she also helped my super hungover groom-to-be which is a whole different hilarious story. But he recovered *just* in time for our pictures 😂 -
