Karisa was truly an angel! The quality and quantity of photos we received from her were nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did she capture the key moments flawlessly, but she also managed to encapsulate the emotions and joy of the day in every single image. The artistry and technical expertise displayed in her work were truly incredible. We were so pleasantly surprised by the generous number of photos we received, allowing us to relive each moment and experience the day from various perspectives.
For couples considering using Karisa's wedding services, I cannot recommend her more highly; her warm and reassuring nature made us feel so relaxed, easing our hesitation to be in front of the camera. Highly Recommend
I can’t say enough amazing things about Karisa! She was absolutely incredible on our wedding day. She arrived right on time, kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, and had an amazing eye for detail. She didn’t miss a thing. More than that, she brought such a calm, confident presence that helped settle my nerves and made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Karisa guided us so naturally and captured every special moment beautifully. I truly felt like my best and most confident self with her behind the lens. Our photos are stunning and full of genuine emotion. Choosing Karisa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! -

It can be so nerve-wracking to pick the right photographer for your special day. We wanted someone whose photo editing style we loved but also who we felt safe and comfortable with, and Karisa was the exact right choice for us! From start to finish, Karisa was kind, thoughtful, organized, and so relaxed, which is everything you want on your wedding day! We didn't do an engagement shoot with her, so we weren't sure what to expect, but she made us feel so natural and confident. It was like being photographed by a friend. She made sure to capture all of the details that were important to us, and the pictures are absolutely stunning! We had elderly members of our family who she was incredibly considerate of, and she was quick to make adjustments to our timeline to accommodate their needs without anyone needing to ask her to. At the end of the evening, she went over to each of our vendors and said hello, which shows how incredibly professional she is. Karisa will always be an important part of what made our day so special. We have loved working with her so much, and we can't recommend her enough! -

We are beyond thrilled with the photos Karisa captured for both our engagement session and wedding day. As people who aren’t typically comfortable in front of the camera, she made us feel at ease and made us look amazing in every shot. Karisa is amazing!!
Finding a wedding photographer can be overwhelming with so many factors to consider—editing style, creativity, budget, personality, trustworthiness, and professionalism. As we browsed through various photographers’ websites, we discovered we were drawn to images with natural, bright colors and skin tones that didn’t appear to be dull or washed out. When we came across Karisa’s site, we instantly knew her editing style was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day.
Reaching out to Karisa was such a great experience. She was very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. After our initial call, where she explained her photography packages and process, we knew with both her talent and personality, she would be a perfect fit for us.
We are absolutely thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos from Love, Lomax Studios. Karisa’s warm personality truly sets her apart—she treats you and your partner like friends rather than just clients. You can tell she genuinely wants to capture the best photos for you and she really takes the time to do that. She listens to your requests of what you are envisioning and she also has many creative ideas of her own. My partner and I had never had a professional photography session done, but after working with Karisa we both felt that she truly has a knack for making everyone feel at ease in front of the camera, resulting in stunning photos that reflect energy and personality.

Karisa is amazing!
Karisa was truly amazing - from the beginning through the end. She was always very responsive, and was professional but also so much fun. She was the perfect mix of keeping us on schedule during our wedding day but also having candid moments without being stressed. She delivered our pictures on time and they were so good we love them! We really didn’t want over edited pictures so that’s why we chose Karisa and she delivered crisp, natural pictures which is what we wanted! Would highly recommend!! -

Just WOW. Karisa was the best photographer we could have asked for. Working with her was a delight - she was so communicative, asked helpful questions, and encouraged us to show our personalities during photoshoots. I don't typically feel comfortable in front of the camera, and Karisa really helped me relax. My husband is full of funny ideas for photoshoots, and she let him have at - while keeping us on schedule. :) And the photos - dynamite! So warm, bright, fun, and tender. I couldn't speak more highly of Karisa and her work. Anyone who has her as a photographer is LUCKY. -

The BEST photographer
We hired Love, Lomax as our wedding photographer which included an engagement shoot, and were BLOWN AWAY with her work!
From the start Karisa was very easy to work with and is an incredibly kind, caring person. A photographer captures really intimate moments, and my husband and I felt so comfortable with her. She did a great job coaching us through the poses and went to a variety of locations to make sure we got all the shots.
Specifically for the wedding, she was incredibly organized by sending us a wedding questionnaire and creating a very detailed timeline, making sure she knew all the important photos we wanted to get. On my wedding day, she felt like one of my friends and was hyping my husband and I up all day. She was super respectful of our time and made sure we got photos efficiently so we could enjoy as much time with our family and friends
Regarding her work, she is an AMAZING photographer. We got so many compliments on our engagement photos, some people saying they look like they could have been in a magazine. We are even more blown away with our wedding sneak peaks which she sent over 2 days after our weddings (we were shocked with how quickly they arrived). All of my friends and family that worked with Karisa spoke so highly of her and said we made the right decision hiring her.
I cannot recommend Love, Lomax enough!! -

Wedding Photos
Karisa is an incredible photographer! Not only are her pictures a literal work of art… but she’s so incredibly kind and genuine. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable for our wedding photos and we had so much fun working with her. She’s a ray of sunshine and you can tell she loves what she does. She comes in with a plan, boosts your confidence levels, and produces the most divine images. Looking at our photos when we received them, made me relive our wedding day all over again. The story she tells with your photos is unbelievable. We are thrilled to have these memories to look at and relive forever! -

Incredible Photographer
Karisa was a joy to have at our wedding! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to photography and is always ready to grab that perfect shot. Absolutely loved working with Karisa from start to finish! She is so personable and friendly, and made everything so easy when we did not know what to do behind the camera and the pictures turned out so amazing! From the engagement pictures to the wedding day, Karisa was amazing! She even came and traveled across states to our wedding and we are so thankful! Karisa was our photographer for our wedding this past Sunday. I met her in Florida for a business branding shoot I was doing and we hit it off. Upon us talking more, I discovered she was moving to the DC area at the beginning of June. I was thrilled as we were planning on getting married back home in Maryland at the end of June and I hadn’t yet found a photographer. She agreed to do our photography at our wedding and from beginning to end made it such a smooth and special experience! She truly dives in to understand you as a couple, as individuals and your story. She learned family member names and roles and she made sure the day moved along seamlessly. I just got my sneak peek photos and we are in tears with how beautifully they turned out! I can’t wait for our full gallery - I am just so happy! If you’re even on the fence about hiring Karisa, do it. You won’t regret it and you will have the best wedding photographer you could ever ask for! Thank you Karisa!!! -

Amazing photographer!
Karisa was wonderful from the moment we inquired about photography, she responded quickly and communicated throughout the entire process. She sent us a questionnaire to keep organized and get the shots we wanted, and helped us setup a timeline so that everything went smooth. Karisa was great at keeping us on track and giving us direction without making us feel rushed. We got our "sneak peak" photos very fast and got our entire album within the time she told us. The photos were absolutely gorgeous and captured beautiful memories. -

LOVE Karisa Denae Photography!
Karisa photographed our engagement and we couldn't have imagined any one better to do our actual ceremony. Karisa was organized and communicated from time we booked her, to the day we received our full wedding gallery. She is very easy to work with, she makes everyone comfortable, and keeps everyone interested in pictures.
She was there from the beginning of our day to the very end. She made sure she captured every detail we requested, even details we added on at the very end.
All of our pictures came back absolutely perfect. We hope to work with Karisa again in the future for all of our life updates as the years go by! -
