So Grateful for Kristina’s Talent
Working with Kristina was truly wonderful! Everything she made was absolutely delicious and so beautifully done. One of my favorite parts was the surprise anniversary cake she created for our parents and in-laws since we all now share the same anniversary. It meant so much to us, and it tasted incredible. We’re so grateful she was part of our day! -

We can’t say enough good things about the amazing cake that Kristina Solloway of Love Cake made for our wedding! Not only was it absolutely beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. Her prices were reasonable and the cake taste incredible. Every layer was full of flavor and baked to perfection. Our guests are still talking about it!
From the very first consultation, she was so kind, professional, and easy to work with. She took the time to understand our style and theme and brought it to life in the most delicious way. The attention to detail, both in the design and the flavors, truly blew us away.

Dream come true!
My husband and I tried several different bakers prior to choosing Love Cake. Each baker presented grwat ideas, but the taste and experience was nothing remotely close to what Kristina presented to us. She took her time crafting our vision into reality. She was patient and was always responsive. We were uncertain of the design that we wanted to go with and she perfected my wedding dress design on our cake. Our wedding cake was moist, designed with skill and detail in mind and our guests loved it!!!! Kristina showed up at our venue to not only bring our cake, but to congratulate us on our special day. We highly recommend her!!! -

I cannot say enough nice things about Love Cake. The vendor was great to work with. She took our vision & came up with a great design for our cake. My only difficulty was choosing only 2 flavors. We can't wait for our 1 year cake!

I take cake very seriously and finding a wedding cake that was both beautiful and tasted amazing was #1 on my priority list. LoveCakeNC is absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We sampled and met with multiple bakeries in the area before picking Kristina at LoveCake. Not only was my wedding cake the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, but it was also the most delicious cake I have ever tasted. The attention to detail was truly remarkable, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite.
From the moment I met with LoveCakeNC, I knew that they would create something special for my wedding day. Their passion for baking and their dedication to their craft was evident from the very beginning. They listened to my ideas and preferences and worked with my planner to create a cake that was unique, beautiful, and delicious.
On my wedding day, my guests could not stop raving about the cake. Some of them came up to me and said they had not one, not two, but three slices of the delicious cake, and everyone was so impressed by the stunning design. I whole-heartedly recommend Love Cake. Kristina worked with us on the full presentation of cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding. Every detail was gorgeous, and renting a set of cake stands from her made the decorating even easier. She thinks of things you don't from checking in at various stages to make sure you're getting what you need (and like, not an overabundance of cupcakes) based on updated guest count and allergens. After everything was said and done, I know she cares because she asked how many cupcakes were left over from the wedding, and wanted to know that we and the guests had enjoyed everything. All three flavors we chose were delicious and the Anniversary Cake we're getting in a year will be a highlight to look forward to! -

The most delicious cake and cupcakes
My father in law had 4 cupcakes at our wedding!! He told us that they were the best cupcakes he has ever had! We had a small cutting cake and then 3 different types of cupcakes. Many people told me how good the cupcakes were and they looked so good as well! I am so happy we chose Love Cake for our wedding and I can’t wait for our complimentary 1 year anniversary cake next year! -

Amazing Experience for our Indian-American Wedding
Kristina at Love Cake was absolutely amazing to work with! We were having a fusion Indian-American wedding, and wanted to incorporate styles into our cake that would pull from the southern traditions of my family and the Hindu traditions of my fiancé's family. Kristina helped us design a large and beautiful cake that included live florals in whites and pinks, as well as beautiful 3D henna designs in gold foil to match the henna designs drawn on my arms as part of the Hindu bridal traditions.
Not only was it beautiful, it was absolutely delicious! I'd highly recommend Love Cake to anyone, especially if you need to get creative and have LOTS of ideas to bring together!! :) -

From the cake tasting to cake stand rental all the way to the wedding day, Kristina made the process feel personal. She understood our vision and executed it perfectly. I also love that she provides cupcakes in the flavors that you chose to bring on the honeymoon, and a 1 year anniversary cake! We loved a four-tiered, two-flavored, beautiful cake! -

Delicious!
We had a wonderful experience working with Kristina at Love Cake! We did our tasting in the middle of quarantine and she was kind enough to make us up a tasting box and then Zoom with us to talk through flavors and design. We went with the Wedding Cake flavor (a hint of Almond) and Vanilla Buttercream with Strawberry Preserves! The design was almost identical to the picture we gave her, right down to the gold fleck! I would highly recommend Love Cake and we are super looking forward to the one year anniversary cake! -

Kristina is awesome! From the very beginning - she was the only vendor who actually sat down with us to sample and mix different flavors. That and the fact the cake was the best we tried, we knew so quickly we wanted her to make our wedding cake. She took the time to help us design our cake, although a simple one, she was able to make it still unique and beautiful.
I can't tell you how many guests came up to us after the wedding and told us they were sad that they didn't get a second slice of cake. Due to COVID, we had to significantly scale down our wedding but we made our cake a little more than we needed and went home with not only a few leftovers but cupcakes that we quickly devoured!
If you are looking for not only a beautiful cake, but a scrumptious one, look no further!!! -

Kristina was so easy to work with throughout our wedding journey! From the cake tasting, to rescheduling (and resizing the cake) due to COVID, Kristina made the process so easy. We had two different cake flavors and both were so delicious; everyone loved them! We had a very simple exterior design for the cake and she made it flawlessly. She provides cupcakes in your cake/icing flavor(s) to take home with you after the wedding as well. My husband and I enjoyed them as our post-wedding, pre-brunch breakfast! Love Cake is an amazing vendor that we were lucky to have used for our big day - you will not be disappointed! -

My husband and I live on the other side of the world. Love Cakes was so flexible with us and provided us with several options to start off with. We were able to provide likes and dislikes and Kristina came back with alternatives and some feedback. While I was very against flowers, the florist provided some little details for the cake and it ended up being beyond perfect. Everything we could image. We also appreciated the cup cakes we were able to take home (because let's be honest, who really eats at their own wedding). 10000% recommend Love Cakes for any cake needs! -

Kristina did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. It turned out extremely elegant and DELICIOUS!! It looked EXACTLY like the picture that represented our vision. Setting up the tasting was also an easy process and she presented us with several options and helped us with the best pairings. 5 out of 5 stars. I just referred Love Cake to one of my friends (they were not having the greatest experiences with some of the caterers here) and they said her cakes tasted the BEST!! You will not be disappointed! -

Exactly what I wished for
The cake was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! I didn’t get a chance to try both flavors on our wedding day, but Kristina had given us a box of cupcakes with our wedding cake flavors for us to enjoy later and I’m so glad she did! The lemon raspberry was so delicious and the overall presentation of the cake was exactly what I envisioned. -

Kristina did an amazing job making our wedding cake! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was delicious! All of our guests were raving about the cake. Kristina was such a pleasure to work with from the tasting to the wedding day. She responded quickly to my questions and kindly accommodated changes that I wanted to make. She personally delivered and set up our cake, even placing flowers from the florist. It’s easy to see that Kristina loves what she does and I was so thankful she was a part of our big day! -

We absolutely loved on cake from Love Cake! Kristina was great to work with and was flexible with tastings and scheduling. I was out of state for school during the majority of our engagement, so my now-husband was left to do in-person meetings. He was able to meet with Kristina for the tasting and she provided many samples of both cake and icings/fillings. She even gave him enough samples to take home and freeze so I could try them at a later date. After the tasting, we were sold. And we were not disappointed at our wedding! Kristina was easy to coordinate with for day-of plans. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. Our guests continuously commented on how good it was both during the wedding and for weeks following! So thankful we went with Love Cake for our big day! -

Incredible cake and cupcakes!!
Kristina was an absolute dream to work with. Our consultation was fun and she made all my dessert dreams come true. I was so indecisive about which flavor cupcakes I wanted and she was so patient (even though we were meeting late in the evening). I ended up picking 4 different cupcakes with different frostings and they were AMAZING. I still have people asking where the cupcakes came from and keep praising how amazing LoveCake was. In addition to everything being delicious, the presentation was flawless as well. It was hard to believe they were real cupcakes- that's how pretty they were. There just isn't enough good things I can say about Kristina. Look no further for any of your cake needs! -

When I was planning my wedding I received a list of recommended vendors and met Kristina first and I cannot even begin to express how amazing she is, from an artist to a professional to a now-friend. I sat down with her and didn't really know where to start but showed her pictures of my wedding dress and what direction I was thinking and we went from there and figured it out together. She asked all the right questions and had her own vision to try and match mine and more importantly she made me feel so special to her and never made me feel like a job on her list. The creation she made not only matched but exceeded our vision, and what was more fun, we did it together. I haven't even mentioned the cake itself, which was/is the best cake I've ever had in my life. I've been to a lot of weddings and she is someone beyond special. Thank you Kristina for creating a (tasty!) vision, that was so dear to us, so hard to cut into because it was so beautiful, and then devoured. You're a friend forever. And your cake was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. There aren't words to thank you. -

We were blown away at the beauty and decadence that was our wedding cake. She was our only cake tasting but once we tasted her samples- we knew there was no need to look further! All of the different flavors and combinations she offers really allow your creativity to fly! We knew we wanted something somewhat nontraditional for our cake, so we went with her banana cream pie with chocolate ganache and almond cream cheese frosting layers. OMG. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It's been two weeks, and randomly my husband JUST said to me "you know what I'm craving? our wedding cake". Well, we are counting down the days until we get to eat the leftovers!
She also offers an anniversary cake for your one year anniversary or cupcakes to complement your cake- talk about great value!
She blew all of my expectations out of the water, and when discussing my design for the cake- she knew exactly what I wanted and she went above and beyond! The cake came out better than I could have imagined.
On top of that- many guests told me it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten!
Thank you again Kristina for making the best tasting cake ever and for that piece of art! We certainly know who to go to for any future parties! -

Our wedding cake was not only GORGEOUS but also delicious! Kristina came highly recommended by my wedding planner. We knew from the tasting we were in good hands!!! Throughout the year of planning Kristina was great at communicating and helped us make our vision come true! We added this beautiful rose gold drip and fresh flowers that really made it unique. Out of all the wedding cake samples, hers was by far the most delicious. Her cakes and icing taste fresh and not too sweet. She is very unique because she can make beautiful cake designs with buttercream instead of fondant. We chose Pina Colada with Cream Cheese frosting and Classic Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream for our wedding cake and it was delicious! We tried several flavors before choosing these and they were all amazing making for a hard decision. Thanks Kristina for everything! -

When you meet her, you can immediately tell how passionate she is about her work - she loves to decorate, and pours her heart into all her creations (which is why Love Cake is a perfect name for her business).
She made our cupcakes for our wedding and did a fantastic job! They were delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Several of my wedding guests told me how awesome the cupcakes were. We chose two different flavors, the traditional almond vanilla wedding cake with strawberry filling, and dark chocolate kahlua fudge. We also had a small cutting cake at the top of our cupcake tier to perform the traditional "cake cutting" and it was perfect.
I highly recommend her for your wedding or any special event! She will take great care of you! -
