She was very helpful with tips on the legal process of getting married, very flexible and conformed to our wishes for the ceremony, arrived on time and is very trustworthy! The best officiant!!
Dana was the second officiant we chose after having issues with our first. I’m so thankful we found her! From the start she was super informative and professional and very clear on what she’d be saying at our wedding. She even did a modern speech we requested to throw in- and let our guest take a photo of us at the alter before putting their phones away, then turned around and took a photo with us including all of our guest. I was even running late on my wedding day and she assured me everything was fine, and remained smiling and sweet throughout her entire service. I was so busy I didn’t have time to thank her as wedding days fly by so fast, but I hope she knows she’s amazing and I’d recommend her to allll the brides!! She was so sweet and responds fast to any texts or emails I’ve sent her as well! She was referred to me by our venue owner and we’re so grateful to have had her for our special day we will remember forever.

On our Big Day, she ensured our calmness which made our event a huge success. Additionally, we included a Three Cord Ceremony and she was wonderful with her explanation to our family members that were not familair with that particular ceremony.

Excellent ceremony
I wanted to find an officiant that would fit my needs, for a short and sweet wedding ceremony at Hillsborough River State Park for mid March. I didn’t have to search far when I google searched in my area and as soon as I read the many reviews for Dana, I knew I’d found the right person. I searched no more and contacted her, hoping my wedding date would be available. I emailed her only at the end of January for a mid March wedding. Luck would have it, Dana was available and I booked her immediately. She was very helpful, great communication and quite nice. The day of my wedding ceremony, I had to push back the time due to inclement weather conditions, by a couple hours. I was so grateful at how accommodating Dana was in this. Meeting her on the day of our ceremony was reassuring, with her calm demeanor and soothing voice. She conducted our ceremony so beautifully, with presence and poise. Friends and family at the ceremony and via live steam, all loved it. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant and for things to line up perfectly on short notice & with the weather conditions that morning. Thank you Dana 💕

Lovely Last Minute Elopement on the Beach
Dana with Love Avows is an absolutely lovely human being and I got that sense from the moment we started messaging on Face Book. She captured exactly what we wanted with the ceremony (a last minute sunrise elopement with our feet in the sand on the Gulf of Mexico! Just us and our 2 dogs!), she helped us find our photographer, and was adventurous and flexible! The morning of we sent her different coordinates for the area of the beach we wanted to get married on, and she was totally game and still on time! I would highly highly recommend -- she gave my husband and I a beautiful ceremony for two men, and we will both cherish those moments for the rest of our lives! Highly highly highly recommend!

Truly a Personal Wedding Ceremony!
We worked with Dana as the officiant for our wedding in November of 2020. Dana kept in close communication as our event approached and worked with us over several sessions to make sure that we were comfortable with our ceremony, and that it would be special for us. Dana offered several tips and suggestions around how the ceremony could flow, while also working with us to add personal touches. Dana played no small part in our beautiful ceremony by helping us write our own vows, and working with us to even do a wine box ceremony with our family. We even had a few people ask if she was a family friend because of how personal the ceremony was! Dana was great, and we’d highly recommend her as an officiant for a wedding or special event in the future.

In the middle of Covid our dream wedding in Hawaii was cancelled and we moved to Florida. The year like for so many others has been difficult and tumultuous.
After finally settling into our new home and coming to the realization that Covid wasn’t going anywhere, we decided it was time to get married. Hawaii or no Hawaii.
I found Dana online through one of the wedding sites and decided she was the one to call. She was understanding to everything we had going on and made our now elopement so easy. She helped us with our location and even with the vows.

So My husband is not romantic or sentimental by any means and after our ceremony he said that he couldn't believe how perfect our vows were. It was like she had known us forever. They were simple, sweet and exactly us to the T......even worked with us when we had to move the date due to Coronavirus to a Wednesday night. Amazing Ceremony
To say getting married during COVID-19 was difficult to plan is an understatement but Dana was so amazing and flexible with all that was happening. When the day came we had a rain delay but we weren’t letting that deter us (good luck they say) and she was flexible and finally we had our moment and her ceremony was perfect. Her words were amazing and she did such a great job sharing our story. Thank you a million Dana for making it so memorable.

Very positive vibe during the ceremony
Our wedding was postponed, however, we wanted to get married the same day as planned. Dana was available and promptly replied to my request. She was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She provided a very reasonable price for the ceremony and was flexible as well.
She was wonderful during the ceremony and eloquent in her speech. I would certainly recommend her.

Thoughtful and Thorough
Dana was an absolute delight to work with. She wrote a custom ceremony for us that was thoughtful, funny, and riddled with nerd references for my husband and I. She was also extremely calm and level headed the day of the wedding, even when I was flitting about like a mad woman because we misplaced the marriage certificate and couldn't find our handfasting cords at the last minute (the certificate did show up, and we opted to use some ribbon from our earlier decorating instead, so all worked out). She's a wonderful speaker, a lovely writer, and I was so glad to have her as a part of our day

January 11, 2020 - Love Avows (Dana)
My wife and I got married on January 11, 2020 and Dana Caggia ensured that our ceremony reflected us. We had some last minute changes and she rolled with it. We didn’t receive any pushback, she always had suggestions of her own to provide us when we needed direction drafting the ceremony, and she was very quick to make the changes we requested.
We work and live an hour away from Tampa and Dana didn’t make it difficult at all to meet or communicate when necessary. Communication was easy for us because it was through email after our initial meeting in person. She was really open to our ideas, helped develop them and placed each element in the right moment in the ceremony.
On the Day Of, Dana was very professional, spoke clearly and audibly, while also keeping us calm with her smooth tone. Honestly, just the way she speaks and her presence is calming. I lost it during the ceremony and I think if we had another officiant, the tears would’ve been way worse.
Dana definitely exceeded our expectations. When we decided to have a quaich ceremony AND a broom jump last minute, she already knew exactly what the two were (while I had just learned about a quaich 10 minutes earlier) and had ceremony wording ready to send us. Her execution of the ceremony on the day of was perfect and I wouldn’t have changed anything!

It was like Dana had known us for years!

Dana was professional, kind, and caring. I feel we got our moneys worth and it was way more personal than “hiring a notary” because she formed our ceremony around us as well as truly valued love and being there on our special day. We actually eloped and thought this would be less emotional but we both had tears during the whole thing. She used her words to bring out our love for each other more. Best thing we spent our money on was having her there to do the ceremony, honestly.

We reached out to Dana with a very short window before our elopement and she wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us! It felt as though she had known us for years. She was even willing to meet us at the beach at 6:30 in the morning on a holiday weekend for our sunrise marriage. Exactly what we were looking for!
Dana was perfect! She was professional, flexible, and wrote the perfect words for our non-religious ceremony. I’ve never been to a wedding where they didn’t have bible verses or short sermons so I wasn’t sure what to expect or how the time would be filled in but Dana took care of it and used the answers to our questionnaire perfectly. Her words were thoughtful and heartfelt and she had the perfect tone. She knew exactly what to do when it came to rehearsing and handling the marriage license and she made herself available for the rehearsal last minute when I finally found out when we could have it. We couldn’t have found a better officiant!

My husband and I planned our wedding a month before the ceremony and were so glad we found Dana! She was immediately responsive and flexible to our needs. Wedding day was a bit, umm, chaotic and Dana rolled with it so well! She mingled with our guests and then officiated an absolutely perfect ceremony in spite of windy outdoor conditions and technical difficulties. She is incredibly sweet and open to allowing brides and grooms to express their individual desires in terms of personalities and religious beliefs. I feel like we got to know each other throughout the planning process and on my wedding day I feel like I gained a husband and a friend. I highly recommend Dana for her warmth, professionalism, and open mindedness. I feel confident saying she will do a remarkable job for you no matter what kind of ceremony you prefer. We loved having Dana as our officiant. My wife spoke with her on the phone to go over the specifics. From that brief conversation she was convinced that Dana was the perfect match for the job. She was very quick in responding to us and answered all of our questions and concerns. Before the ceremony we also communicated over email in order for Dana to get to know us better and tailor the ceremony to us specifically. The day of the wedding she arrived early to go over the details of the ceremony so we would be at ease and know what to expect. She was able to create a very personal feel for us and included details unique to us and our relationship. An amazing experience!
We found out ten days before our wedding that our officiant was unable to marry us. I posted on a Facebook site searching for someone. Dana was recommended to us and after looking at her page, we decided to book with her. I’m am so glad we did. She was on time, calm, and so personal. We did a destination wedding so we didn’t meet her until about 20 minutes before we got married. It was like she’s known us for years! Our ceremony was personal and beautiful. She incorporated so many personal touches and it was wonderful. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else marry us and I wouldn’t change a thing. We recommend Dana 100%.

Dana was an invaluable resource for us when she didn't have to be at all... we had a makeup artist cancel on us at the last second, and she made a recommendation for a replacement and my wife looked fantastic.
Besides that, we had some trouble with everyone arriving on time to the location and Dana patiently waited (in the middle of her work day) to help us make our special day a memorable one.
She helped us with our vows and spoke clearly and we are left with a memory to be cherished for the rest of our lives.
To take it one step further she even has been helping my wife with a recommendation for a new lab position!
Basically, to summarize, shes the best & a great value... period.

During the ceremony she spoke beautifully, slowly, and we really got to soak in her words. She is very warm & kind - we took a picture together before she left and hugged - it's difficult to not adore someone so sweet!

Fantastic Experience!
Dana was FABULOUS! I stumbled upon her after seeing a link on Facebook. I'm so glad I followed through and reached out to her. She really knows how to put together the words, the feelings and emotions on paper, and then speak them with such love in her voice. She also gave us some great ideas on how to make our wedding, ours. Don't hesitate one minute to use Dana as your wedding officiant.

Dana was beyond amazing. She worked with us on a very tight schedule (We found her literally a little over a week before our wedding) and helped produce a beautiful and seamless ceremony and experience for my wife and I.
She was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and helped write an amazing set of vows.

Dana was a wedding saver! About a month before our wedding our officiant bailed and Dana was there to save the day. She got with me quickly to tailor a ceremony that was special for us. She added adorable Disney references to go with the theme of our wedding and even included our baby boy so the day was truly about our family finally coming together. We couldn’t have asked for a more special ceremony. Dana is the best!

We traveled from Omaha, Ne to the Clearwater area to elope. I found Dana online by chance. The moment i talked to her I knew she was the person i wanted to marry us. She was very engaging, very professional and asked a lot of great questions. We had the option to write our own vows or answer a whole series of really thought provoking questions like "what do you admire most about your partner?" " What first attracted to you to him\her?" Things that I don't normally think about but they were really meaningful questions e-mailed to us allowing plenty of time to think about them and provide memorable answers. I was amazed at the way Dana accumulated the answers and wrote this absolutely beautiful ceremony. It was as if she wrote our life story. Neither of us wanted the pressure of writing our own vows, although i understand that is quite meaningful for many couples. We played" our song" and she talked over it. her communication back and forth via e-mail was very timely and she was thorough. She will always hold a special place in my heart and I am so happy i chose her:).

Dana did a wonderful job. She had no problems tweaking our vows (or writing them for us for that matter). She included everything we asked for and the guests said they liked her as well. We contacted her fairly last minute but she was very accommodating.
