Choosing Love and Light Wedding Officiants was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding. Lydia was incredible - easy to work with, responsive. There were zero issues, and if you’re planning a wedding you know, there are always hang ups. Trust me, if you choose Love and Light as a vendor, you don’t have to worry about that. She helped tailor the day to exactly what we wanted and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The ceremony was the best, to the point where we have been receiving compliments about Lydia! She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, which was something my wife and I took seriously and were concerned about as a same sex couple. The absolute BEST
Reverend Lydia was our Wedding officiant for our ceremony in May 2026, and there are not enough words to summarize how fantastic she was. Relative to other officiants, the price is unbeatable. She spoke beautifully at the ceremony, easy to understand and slowing down the pace to allow us to take it all in.
Beyond that, she was more than just an excellent speaker and storyteller. Lydia walked us through every step necessary to get our Wedding license. She made it a point to get to know us personally, as well as our relationship as a couple. This made every word she spoke feel more authentic and genuine. She allowed us to choose custom wording for our ceremony to really make it our own. Her attention to detail and thorough questions throughout the planning process is what made all the difference. She wanted to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and it was.
Believe it or not, it does not end there. Reverend Lydia was there for us in our brief rehearsal prior to the ceremony. She reminded us to take a deep breath and helped ease any last-minute nerves going into the big moment. Her overwhelming kindness and unique ability to make it feel like we have known her first four years, not only months, set her aside from all the rest. I could not recommend somewhere more perfect to be there on your big day.

Lydia was our officiant but I’ve had the opportunity to speak with Rachel as well and both women are truly special! Rachel was truly filled with light from the beginning to the end with working with her. You see why they called themselves that. She truly was the sweetest soul from the first day we met her. She was professional and had multiple meetings with us before the wedding day to ensure we didn’t have questions and felt comfortable with the ceremony. She was so easy to work with. When it came to the wedding day the ceremony was so personable and so beautiful. Our guests could not stop raving about our ceremony and how unique it was and no dry eye in the room. My fiancé now husband had family that didn’t know me at the wedding. They said the way Rachel spoke about me painted a picture of who I was. Lydia was AMAZING! My guests could not stop raving about the ceremony and how well-crafted the words were. Lydia is so talented, professional, and responsive when it comes to creating our vows. So Much Love and Light in Our Ceremony 💕
Working with Love & Light Wedding was honestly one of the best decisions we made. From the very first email they were warm and responsive and just really easy to talk to. Our first meeting was with Rev. Rachel and within a few minutes we both kind of looked at each other like, okay, this is it. She is so kind and genuine and it really felt like she cared about who we are and how we met and all the little details. You can tell she truly loves what she does because it shows in every single conversation we had with her.
We ended up having Rev. Lydia officiate our ceremony and she was beyond wonderful. She has this calming, comforting presence that just makes you feel understood and supported right away. She radiates so much love and light and joy, it honestly felt like having a close friend standing up there with us. Every conversation with her felt thoughtful and she always made sure the ceremony reflected who we are as a couple.
The ceremony itself felt so personal and so customized. Nothing about it felt generic or copy and pasted. It really felt like she took the time to understand our story and put it together in a way that just fit us perfectly. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of the whole day.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Love & Light Wedding brought so much warmth and heart to our wedding and we are really grateful for them.

Reverend Rachel was an absolute DELIGHT to work with! Her compassion for her job truly shines + I love how much she wanted to get to know me and my husband, even before we booked with her. We wanted to intertwine my brother into the process, and Rachel was AMAZING at accommodating this request - not only did she have meetings with us to review the agenda, but she took the time to meet my brother and walk him through the process and where she would be handing the mic over to him. What I loved most about Love & Light during the planning process was the detailed workbook they sent over, where we got to pick specific pieces of the workbook to create a personalized ceremony for us! It was so fun for us to have a date night and read through the options, along with editing them a bit to fit our vision. Day of, we got so many compliments on how thorough and well spoken Rachel was, and how all our guests shed lots of tears! Lydia with love and light officiated our wedding in November, and she was amazing! What a truly wonderful experience!
An outstanding wedding officiant is one thing couples may never know they need. We certainly didn’t until working with Lydia! She is the consummate professional and it’s evident she cares deeply about her work. She took interest in our background, what brought us together, and then shared the importance of what will keep us together.

When I first reached out to Love and Light, Reverend Rachel responded later that day and with such enthusiasm, I knew I had hit on something. In our first video meeting, she was warm, welcoming, and so incredibly kind. She would continue to embody all of those qualities throughout our process of working together. Highlights include:
- Being flexible on how we wanted our ceremony to feel and what we wanted to prioritize without any judgement

Finding an officiant was very hard for us as we were trying to find the perfect officiant. We felt very strongly that the ceremony should represent us as a couple and be traditional while also being unique. I had found Love and Light Wedding Officiants and they had great reviews. I ended up talking to Lydia and we had a lot of common interests. She was so wonderful from the start and made us feel very comfortable. The best part of all was her willingness to keep making sure the ceremony script was exactly what we wanted. She did not hesitate to make any edits needed until it was perfect. We were able to find unique blessing and vows that were special to us. I feel as though typically guests do not get very emotional at the ceremony, however, we had multiple guests come up to us at cocktail hour saying the ceremony brought tears to their eyes and they LOVED it. They had said they have never seen or heard a wedding ceremony like that and that is was so beautiful and unique. It was exactly what we wanted. It was extremely important to us to find an officiant that got to know us and personalized our ceremony for our special day. We really didn't want a "cookie cutter" ceremony. From the start of the process, Rev. Rachel spent the time to learn about our love story. Her professional and warm demeanor made us feel comfortable as she thoroughly went through the process with us. We were really able to personalize every single aspect of our ceremony, getting to choose specific excerpts and readings of what resonated with us the most. Rev. Rachel was easy to work with and willing to change anything in the drafts she sent. There are some additional ceremony aspects offered such as the rose dedication, which we chose to honor our mothers. Rev. Rachel is thorough and on top of all the logistics for receiving your marriage license and you can see that she truly loves what she does! The best officiant!
We worked with Lydia, and from the moment of our first communication, we know we would be in good hands. Lydia truly cared about learning about us and our relationship, and was very thorough with planning for the ceremony to ensure it was everything we wanted. My husband and I are an interfaith couple, so we were worried about what our ceremony would be like someday, but we felt completely assured that our ceremony would be perfect once we spoke to Lydia and began to work on the workbook that was provided. The ceremony was beautiful and personal, and it truly encapsulated our love story. Lydia was wonderful! I love how easy love and light made the process for the wedding ceremony and absolutely loved the wedding workbook. It was so helpful! I also loved how much support and how responsive Lydia was during the planning of the wedding! We had such a beautiful ceremony and although it was extremely windy, everything turned out the way it was supposed to! We cannot thank Lydia enough. Not only did she give my sister a beautiful ceremony this past September but she was able to do it again for us yesterday and we are so grateful for her and would recommend love and light officiants to anybody getting married in New Jersey or the Pennsylvania area where we were married!

Rev. Rachel Addonizio was our officiant, and she did an amazing job. Planning the ceremony was exciting. I was a bit intimidated to get married out-of-state and in New Jersey. I wasn't sure what to expect and the state process is interesting, but she made it understandable and walked us through everything. My favorite part was desiging the ceremony with her. When I met her, I knew she was the one I wanted to marry us. She was so kind, compassionate and a person who has a wonderful energy about her. She also made the process seamless for our witnesses, day-of, and so many guests complimented our ceremony. I spoke to many potential officiants and no one came close. So happy with our choice. Rev. Reverend Lydia was amazing to work with! She took the time to get to know us and ensure that our ceremony was everything we hoped for and more. Not only was she a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, but moments before the ceremony she reminded us the importance of it, which can easily be lost in the craziness of the day, which we appreciated so much. A flawless experience
My husband is Jewish and I am Catholic, and we knew we wanted professional help in creating a beautiful interfaith ceremony. Lydia was an amazing guide from the start, getting to know us and help us create a unique, personalized ceremony which represented the two of us. We had multiple zoom meetings and phone calls, and she was always highly responsive in making edits as well as making suggestions for improvements. Multiple guests told us it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. She helped us incorporate readings from aunts on both sides of the family as well. Lydia was very professional, reliable, and a calming presence on our big day! We loved working with her and highly recommend her and the whole Love and Light team!

Incredible Wedding Officiant
Our officiant, Rachel, was just fantastic; we had a video call prior to our initial booking and communicated via email in the months leading up to the ceremony. She spoke to us at length to get to know how we met, why we were choosing to wed, and what was important to us regarding our ceremony. Love and Light provided incredibly helpful questionnaires and a workbook in order to tailor our ceremony to get exactly what we wanted. The wedding ceremony she put together was just so personal and special, we had many guests tell us that it brought them to tears.

Amazing Officiants - Our Ceremony Was Beautiful
I was led to the Love and Light team by my wedding planner, and I am so grateful to have found these talented women who truly have a gift. Rev Rachel helped us through the process and from the first time I met her over Zoom I felt as though I was speaking to a friend I had known for years. Rev Rachel and Rev Deborah took the time to get to know my fiancé and I, and considered our personalities and preferences when putting our ceremony together. The end result was a beautiful ceremony led by Rev Deborah that felt so personal and warm, and truly spoke to the relationship my fiancé and I had forged and were solidifying that day. Lydia is Wonderful
Lydia was the officiant for our wedding on 9/9/23 and she made our ceremony so wonderful. I was worried about having to figure out a ceremony script but their process makes things so easy and allows you to be unique. We opted to have private vows during our first look but we sent them the Lydia separately and asked her to pull some quotes from our vows to incorporate them into the ceremony and she nailed it. It made our ceremony unique and gave us a little bit of a surprise during the ceremony in the best way. It also gave our guests a glimpse into our vows without us having to say them in front of almost 200 people. On top of the beautiful ceremony, she walked us through all the license information and took care of all the paperwork after our ceremony which was a huge weight off of our shoulders. Highly recommend Love and Light, we are are so happy we hired them!

Rachel was the officiant of my husband and I’s wedding and I swear she was a gift sent to our doorsteps. From the beginning, we hit it off instantly. She was so pleasant to speak with and super informative of the whole process.
Rachel handled all the paperwork with care. I was never once stressed throughout this whole process as she was there every step of the way.
In just the short amount of time that I’ve known Rachel, I can confidently say she’s a blessing, a love and a light that made our wedding day perfect!

Our dream wedding ceremony came true!
Rev. Rachel made the entire process from booking, to curating, and performing our dream wedding ceremony seamless.
She assisted in developing our ceremony script that was so detailed, heartfelt, and true to our love story. We incorporated and showcase our love for family with a rose ceremony and reading from Ecclesiastes.
Our wedding guests raved about our ceremony. Guests noted there was not a dry eye in the house as I wiped tears from the grooms eyes!

Our ceremony wouldn't have felt as personal or impactful if it weren’t for Reverend Rachel!
For months, we were struggling on whether we should ask a friend or family member to step in to be our officiant, thinking that it’d be easier and less expensive to manage. However, we’re so glad and grateful that we ended up choosing Love & Light - we truly don’t believe our ceremony would have felt as personal or impactful if it weren’t for Reverend Rachel.
Prior to the wedding, Rachel took the time to learn about us as a couple, provided valuable tips and guidance, and was always responsive to questions. About two weeks ago I had the most beautiful and perfect wedding I could of ever asked for. Planning this wedding was the most difficult thing I have had to do. However, the wonderful ladies and Love & Light have been the most helpful, caring, and understanding people I could ask for. The legal part of marriage has always confused me, but Lydia was incredibly helpful and walked me through every step of the way. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect, and Lydia had the most perfect thought-out speeches for our ceremony, respecting each of my and my now husband's wishes. Rev. Rachel married us this past weekend, and we had such a great experience with her/Love and Light. The entire experience was very easy and clear. Rev. Lydia was our officiant and did a great job personalizing our ceremony in a way that spoke to who me and my husband were as individuals and as a couple. We loved her! They are both super knowledgeable and helpful- they really care about their couples! Working with them was one of the best choices we made for our day!

The Most amazing ceremony with Rachel!
There are truly not enough words to express our gratitude for how amazing our ceremony was. Rachel is simply the best and we could not have picked anyone to better. From start to finish from initially meeting Rachel over a year ago, to building our ceremony, to the day of our wedding Rachel exceeded all expectations and made our ceremony so personable and special. It was truly such a beautiful ceremony celebrating our love with the most special people around us. We can’t wait to watch our wedding video to relive the most special ceremony and day of our lives. Rachel is the BEST
Rachel gave us our dream ceremony. I had so many guests tell me that it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they have ever seen at a wedding. Rachel was so patient, kind, and helpful throughout the whole process. She made sure that our ceremony involved our love story, and she told it in the most beautiful way. I can't wait to get our wedding video back so I can relive that moment over and over. I will forever be grateful for the gift that Rachel gave us by providing us with the most amazing ceremony.

Rev. Rachel was absolutely amazing! She was extremely responsive whenever I had questions. Building our ceremony was a breeze with her workbook. Rev. Rachel took our thoughts and ideas and brought them to life. I truly felt like I known her for years. 10/10 would recommend!!
