  Joe was the best!

  Joe was SO MUCH FUN and the most generous photographer to work with! He went above and beyond with his time and energy. He guided us without making us feel like we were being posed, his enthusiasm to work with the natural landscape was exactly what we wanted, and his ability to appear in the middle of a crowd taking candid shots while barely being noticeable was uncanny. His assistant, Adam, was always game to help Joe and us as we ran around on a very busy day! Joe was professional and a great communicator throughout the planning process and during the day of the event. Would 10/10 recommend Joe as your photographer for ANY EVENT!!

  The Perfect Photographer!

  Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with! Every meeting and session with him was so relaxed and fun. And on the day of our wedding, he and his second shooter Justin were everywhere at once, it seemed. They captured every moment we hoped they would and more. And the way they breezed through our family and group photos helped to keep the day running smoothly and on-schedule. Many of our friends and family told us afterwards how busy they were, bustling here and there, but always out of the way and without interfering. We truly couldn't have asked for better, and the photos they sent us are absolutely stunning! We will DEFINITELY be recommending Joe Dantone Photography to ANYONE in need of professional photography!!

  Amazing Photographer

  Joe was nothing short of amazing! From our first phone call to the wedding day, he was prompt and professional. He arrived to the venue early to scope out new spots for our pictures since it rained and our original plans fell through. Our first look and portraits were amazing even with the last minute switch! The way he worked with space and lighting was perfect – he is truly an artist! He captured everything we wanted at the ceremony and reception. I can literally relive that day from his pictures. Joe was also super quick with getting our pictures back to us! I would recommend Joe Dantone to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

  Amazing experience!

  Joe was awesome to work with from beginning to end. He was responsive, flexible, and we LOVE our pictures. Joe was laid back the day of and got every shot we asked for as well as so many great candids. We would definitely recommend him!

  My husband & I are so happy we used Joe to capture our wedding! He and his second shooter, Moses, were so professional & patient all day.   Joe Dantone is incredible! We were referred to Joe by a friend and we are so happy we found him! From start to finish, the entire experience of working with Joe was so smooth and actually enjoyable! He's a great guy with an amazing personality, which made it very easy to get comfortable in front of the camera. We first met Joe during our engagement shoot, which was a great way to get to know each other and something I'd suggest doing before your big day. We were blown away with both the quality and quantity of the pictures Joe provided us, and how many moments from our wedding that we would have otherwise missed had it not been for Joe! I'm still trying to figure out how he did all of this, especially as I forgot he was even there most of the time! You can tell he enjoys what he does, and wants to make sure his product is top-notch. You only get one wedding day, and we are beyond thankful that we hired Joe to provide us with such a beautiful and heartfelt recap this special memory.

Just from talking on the phone with him, he was always so excited and had so many great ideas. When we met for our engagement shoot, he made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. It was amazing to see him walk into a room and immediately find the perfect angle for a shot. The day of the wedding he and his second shooter, Tom, were absolutely fantastic to work with. They kept everything light and fun. We had a large wedding party and big families and he navigated through everyone with ease and got all of the shots we wanted. The photos are just breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Joe was unbelievably flexible with my and my husband's difficult work schedules in arranging for our engagement photos. My husband and I are not big picture people... we don't like taking them and always feel awkward but Joe made it SO MUCH FUN! His talent is insane. He finds the most creative and unusual places to take pictures and they turn out incredibly. He kept us laughing and made our whole bridal party at ease. We cannot recommend him enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Joe is not your every day photographer. He was up for crazy ideas we had (engagement shoot at a playground) and had a lot of fun ideas on the wedding day for group shots and portraits. He did a great job capturing how much fun our reception was. He was always very responsive to email and got my pictures done very quickly. We had a blast shooting with Joe!

  cannot say enough about this guy, but let's start from the beginning. Photography for us was extremely important. I am in marketing and have always had an eye for fashion so I knew I wanted something different and unique, but not cheesy. I looked at photographers for 6 months before I saw Joe's work. Tons of people gave me referrals and I was far from pleased. Everything looked the same and everyone had these cheesy looking pictures, it was awful. Then a friend of ours used Joe for their engagement and wedding photos. As soon as I saw the engagement photos I was sold, when I saw how Joe was at their wedding I was double sold, and when I saw the wedding pics I was triple sold. Can I just say that we picked our date AROUND Joe's availability (and luckily had a 2 year engagement so we booked him in advance). We get so many compliments on our pictures all the time and I have referred him to at least 2 people since our wedding that have gotten engaged. I also get the comment all the time from people that say, "oh I wish I had heard of him when we got married!" We were the third couple in our group to use him. Not only is he helpful, but he's so much fun to work with and really helps you relax when you have to do the posed pics. And on the day of the wedding the man is like a ninja! He gets these AMAZING shots and you never knew he was there!!! I also have to give a shout out to his second shooter Colin who is hilarious and so awesome too. He he went above and beyond to help me with dress issues I was having (and joe even got pictures of it). Joe always says his pictures tell a story and they really do. There aren't those cheesy pictures of people at their tables or people standing together. The candid shots he gets at the ceremony and the reception are unbelievable. I do recommend going for the full package. We opted for the medium package (which was still great). It was a full day shooting with two shooters and engagement photos included. We did not include the album.

  Working with Joe was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. First, he is professional, answered every email and phone call immediately and was extremely attentive to making sure our photos represented us.
  
  Joe is also an unbelievable artist and brilliantly worked quickly on his feet to help us capture incredible photos, even when nothing else seemed to cooperate. The rainy day initially busted our plans for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, along with all of our plans for our photos at the vineyard where we got married. When presented with the sudden change of plans, Joe turned some of the cramped and unattractive spaces of the indoor areas into beautiful backdrops. He was able to frame the shots in a way that highlighted us and our guests while masking any of the venue's blemishes--his versatility and quick thinking turned an uncooperative weather day into great photo opportunities. The rain took a brief hiatus during cocktail hour, so Joe suggested going outside to take advantage of the break in the weather. In the 15 minutes we had between rain clouds, Joe captured some truly amazing photos.
  
  In addition to his talent and professionalism, Joe is also just a blast to work with. We had a great time hanging out throughout the day and were shocked to see how many great photos he was able to snap throughout the night. Joe's shooting style is candid and unobtrusive, allowing us and our guests to celebrate without feeling like we were at a photo shoot. After receiving the final file of photos, we can't believe how he was able to catch all those great moments without us noticing!
  
  Throughout the night Joe was extremely attentive to all requests for specific shots. He not only composed great photos, but was able to capture the spontaneity of our crowd.

The rainy day initially busted our plans for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, along with all of our plans for our photos at the vineyard where we got married. When presented with the sudden change of plans, Joe turned some of the cramped and unattractive spaces of the indoor areas into beautiful backdrops. He was able to frame the shots in a way that highlighted us and our guests while masking any of the venue's blemishes--his versatility and quick thinking turned an uncooperative weather day into great photo opportunities. The rain took a brief hiatus during cocktail hour, so Joe suggested going outside to take advantage of the break in the weather. In the 15 minutes we had between rain clouds, Joe captured some truly amazing photos.
  
  In addition to his talent and professionalism, Joe is also just a blast to work with. We had a great time hanging out throughout the day and were shocked to see how many great photos he was able to snap throughout the night. Joe's shooting style is candid and unobtrusive, allowing us and our guests to celebrate without feeling like we were at a photo shoot. After receiving the final file of photos, we can't believe how he was able to catch all those great moments without us noticing!
  
  Throughout the night Joe was extremely attentive to all requests for specific shots. He not only composed great photos, but was able to capture the spontaneity of our crowd.

  Joe Dantone is by far the best wedding photographer in the area.
  
  Before the wedding, we were in contact with Joe often. He was very professional and prompt to get back to us if we had a question. When the wedding date started to approach, Joe sent us a survey so that he could have all of the details of our wedding. He also called us on the phone and went over the day so that he could make sure he got every shot we wanted!
  
  When the wedding day finally arrived, Joe arrived promptly with his assistant. They both were dressed very nicely and were quick to jump in taking pictures. They took detail pictures first (of our dresses, rings, shoes, etc.). Then they took pictures of us getting ready, of our ceremony, and of the reception!
  
  The pictures that Joe took at the wedding captured so many feelings and important moments. He did not just take pictures of us, but of our guests too. All of our joy and emotions are clear through the pictures that he took.
  
  Since the wedding, we have received endless compliments on how amazing our photographs are. People that I haven't spoken to in years have been complimenting us on how nice they are. Joe's creativity and experience in the photography field is second to none and he worked so well with our other vendors to create a seamless experience for us on our big day. We got some real winners out of the album that we'll cherish for years to come. The album option he offers is an absolute must, he created something special that we would never have been able to put together on our own. Joe cultivates a customized experience to meet the needs of all of his clients, whether that be shooting in unique locations or even working with the budget to give you only what you need (we did not feel we paid for anything we didn't receive from a service perspective). Our only complaint (which is really a complaint against ourselves) is that in hindsight, we wish we had booked Joe for an extended time to capture some of the late night activities. That said, we still had him for over 10 hours!! Separately, being new to the wedding game (as most couples are) we had used a friend for engagement photos, so my only other recommendation would be to make sure to use Joe for engagement photos if you're using him for wedding day photos. This is just some general advice, as the more time you spend with your photographer, the more you will learn about each other. Luckily, we got along well with Joe from the start, so our overall customer experience was superb. From the electronic billing to the numerous video chats for Q&A to the amazing photos, we were extremely happy with Joe (and his team) and would highly recommend his services.

  It was a nightmare working with Joe. Couldn't get my deposit back, he was extremely cocky, debated things I wanted, doesn't do well under a time schedule. This was not a "customer" experience one bit especially for the amount of money we paid. He may be good what he does but horrible at weddings. Please choose another wedding photographer, beware!
