Hire Elise and Leslie at Love Affair for your Dream Wedding

I had the pleasure of working with Leslie and Elise at Love Affair for my dream beach wedding and I can't say enough good things about them! They were so organized and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and they made sure that my wedding day was absolutely perfect.

One of the things I loved most about Leslie and Elise was that they really listened to what I wanted and helped me to make my vision a reality. They had a wealth of experience and knowledge, and they were able to offer me great advice on everything from table settings, to hair stylists to catering. Our wedding venue was a blank canvas but they went above and beyond to make sure that all of my vendors were top-notch and reflected our style.

On my wedding day, Leslie and Elise were there every step of the way to make sure that everything went smoothly. They were calm and collected under pressure, and they handled any unexpected hiccups with grace and ease. They turned out venue into a floral wonderland and even made sure our dog could come! I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me plan and execute my dream wedding.

I highly recommend working with Leslie and Elise at Love Affair. They are truly the best in the business, a great value and they will make your wedding day everything you've ever dreamed of and more.

Great Event Planner

Kudos and shout outs to Leslie and her team at Love Affair for the spectacular job they have been doing managing events at The Waterfront at the Elks venue. They are professional, detailed-oriented, compassionate and able to adapt. It’s not an understatement to say they are great communicators, are extremely skillful at executing on each event and do everything they can to create memories that last a lifetime! Leslie is the best!

I had the pleasure of getting Leslie for my coordinator for the Elks lodge in Portsmouth. The minute she took over my event I knew I was in good hands. She was so organized and realized the stress I was under being a covid bride. She took on what ever she could, was supportive in offering suggestions, understanding in family dynamics, and just overall fabulous. Leslie and team are super heroes!

When we had another planner fall through only 6 weeks before our day, we needed help… big time. Leslie, Elise and team swooped in and didn’t miss a beat. They are total pros and helped get everything and everyone in line. Love Affair Review

I highly recommend Love Affair! Leslie was extremely helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. When an issue came up with our original venue Leslie made it a priority to make sure we found another perfect venue that fit our original theme and vision. We trusted Leslie with our wedding hopes and dreams and it paid off! She has a wonderfully friendly disposition, and is an expert in her field. Hannah was also a huge help in planning our dream wedding. As soon as we met her we knew she was a perfect fit and that she would deliver the wedding of our dreams. I initially thought I could plan my daughter's wedding and wouldn't need a wedding planner. Decided it made sense and I am so glad I did. I knew I would need help the day of the wedding, but when my rental venue (Boston Rustic) didn't show up with my complete order the day before, Emily from Love Affair stepped in and without even being asked reserved and then later ordered all the missing items from another vendor (Peaks Rental). Emily saved the day. She and her team from Love Affair took care of everything on the day of the wedding and made it a perfect day. So worth the investment. I highly recommend Love Affair as well as Portsmouth Catering who they work with.

We used Love Affair to coordinate my daughters wedding from the very 1st steps from before we even had 100% decided the venue we were using right thru the rehearsal on Friday, wedding and after party. I can not say enough about Leslie and her team. Our venue was complicated as it was outdoors on the Plaza at One harbor Place in Portsmouth. Every single item had to be rented, including 3 tents, and countless decisions were needed, way above what would be required for a typical wedding. A ton of vendor coordination was required. as everything was done off site for the caterers and bartenders. We would not have been able to do this without Love affair leading us thru the process. They handled many things behind the scenes for us throughout the process, saving us from needing to be involved in many of the details. Leslie and her team met all our requests (and there were many!), and the day went off without a htich, everything was wonderful!

I could not have had a more stress-free experience without Love Affair! Every step of the way they helped answer any questions I had and took care of absolutely everything. Taking our vision from our very first detail meeting and running with it, Love Affair found everything we needed that fit within our budget with ease. Onsite, I was happy I didn't have to stress over any of the details, set up, or answer any questions from anyone - Elise & her team were on it. We could not have planned our wedding without the help of the girls at Love Affair. They were super helpful throughout the entire process. Elise was very responsive and has answers to all of our questions. We knew everything was going to be great on our wedding day but Elise and her team made everything perfect. We didn’t worry about one detail on the wedding day and everything was even better than we could have imagined. My husband was skeptical at first, thinking we didn’t need to spend the money on planners but he quickly saw their value. We could not have asked for a better team to help us with our wedding. Very simply, Love Affair is worth their weight in gold. It was easily one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Leslie and team were outstanding, thinking of every detail that I didn't think of, and making sure things magically just happened. At no point during our entire day was I stressed out or worried about a single thing; a testament to Leslie's wealth of experience in wedding planning. We had a custom package with Love Affair that included a few consultations and day-of coordination. Since we were planning a Portsmouth, New Hampshire wedding from Chicago, we greatly appreciated Leslie's expertise and recommendations during the vendor selection process. She was very good at providing suggestions that would work for several price points and responded honestly and thoughtfully to any of our questions or concerns. On the wedding day, Elise and her team were such a pleasure to work with. They made sure that everything ran smoothly and that all of our guests were happy and comfortable. It took so much pressure off of us and our families to know that we had a hardworking, organized, professional, and friendly group of people taking care of the logistical aspects of the event. We were able to relax and celebrate with the people we love. It was such a special day that we will always remember, and Love Affair played such a big role in making sure it was everything we hoped and planned for.

We met with Leslie from the Love Affair team while still trying to figure out what size and type of wedding we would have. Leslie did an outstanding job of presenting potential venues, vendors, event types and many other factors we hadn't considered. A couple hours spent with Leslie helped avoid weeks of confusion and research that we would have otherwise done on our own. I highly recommend the team at Love Affair! I booked a two-hour consultation with Leslie and it was worth every penny! The first thing that struck me was how friendly she is, I instantly felt comfortable chatting with her. She really listened to what we had in mind and offered suggestions that were a perfect fit for our personalities. She helped us to put together a budget and was spot on with cost estimates for the vendors that we've booked to date. In order to get the most out of your consultation, I recommend going prepared with a long list of questions; the more you can pick her brain, the more valuable the time will be for you. We didn't personally need a full wedding planning package for our event but, if we did, I would not have thought twice about hiring Leslie on the spot, she rocks!

We had the most amazing wedding and it was everything we dreamed it would be thanks to the help of Love Affair. Elise and Leslie are amazing!!! From start to finish they were there every step of the way. They helped us finding the right DJ, lighting, catering, beauty and so much more. They made sure the wedding day was perfect for not only us, but also our family and friends. My dress was a bit wrinkled from transporting and I told Elise at the rehearsal. She said not to worry and that she would take care of it. These ladies think of it all, no detail goes unnoticed. Everything was organized and well planned. All we had to do was show up the day of, get ready and have the most amazing time!! All other details were handled by Elise and Leslie. Leslie and Elise were SO amazing to work with. Our wedding weekend went off without a hitch, even in the pouring rain! Both the planning process and day-of coordination was more than we could have hoped for. Our intimate ceremony was far more beautiful than we could have imagined, and our guests raved about how fun our big outdoor reception was....even in the stormy weather! Leslie and her team scrambled to make sure our guests were comfortable and stayed dry throughout the night. Leslie and Elise from Love Affair planned my husbands' 50th birthday party. They were the most professional, creative, communicative and fun party planners I have ever worked with! My daughter and I planned all of the decorations and hired all of the vendors for her wedding, but gratefully The Wedding Belle offers a package called Tranquility that provides outstanding services to coordinate the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. They provided a timeline for the wedding day, which was invaluable, and also handled everything from picking up food to keeping all of the vendors, as well as the bridal party, on schedule during the reception. We delivered all of the props, signs and other special amenities to Leslie the week before the wedding and she made sure they were all properly (and beautifully) displayed at the reception, then collected all of them at the end of the night and delivered them to my home. They distributed all of the gratuities to the vendors throughout the night and even delivered flowers from the reception to the hotel to be used for the brunch the following morning. I was able to enjoy the wedding and the Tranquility Package made that possible. My daughters wedding was perfect in every way, and came off without a hitch, thanks to The Wedding Belle and owner Leslie Barbini!!

The Wedding Belle is a well oiled machine! Leslie and her Belle's work so hard to make your day memorable and relaxing. My family and I hired Leslie for the day of coordination for my wedding that took place on September 12th. She went above and beyond just the day of coordinating and made the whole planning process so much easier. I recently got married on August 1, 2015 and had the pleasure of working with Leslie from The Wedding Belle in planning my wedding. The ceremony took place in York ME at the ViewPoint Inn over looking the Nubble Lighthouse and the reception was at the Portsmouth Harbor Event and Conference Center in Portsmouth. Leslie and her team were able to take the visions in my head and turn them into a reality that was above and beyond what I could have ever dreamed. Leslie made my life so much easier by being the one point of contact for all my vendors. I would communicate my thoughts to her and she worked with my vendors to make them possible. The weekend of my wedding Leslie and team were with us from the rehearsal on Friday through the luncheon on Sunday. The day of the wedding she made sure the guys and the girls were situated and in the proper locations all while making sure the logistics of the day were running smoothly. She and her team took care of any "hiccups" that happened during the day before they ever even got to me. When coffee ice cream was delivered for the ice cream bar instead of coffee oreo. Leslie and her team made time to stop at the ice cream store between the ceremony and reception to get me and my husband each an order of coffee oreo ice cream so that at least we had the correct flavor! It's the little things, like grabbing the correct ice cream, and the big things, like organizing all my vendors, invitations, transportation, and more, that Leslie and her team do that make working with them so amazing! I would recommend Leslie and the whole Wedding Belle's crew a thousand times over! Thank you so much Leslie and team for making my wedding the best day of my life!

I can't say enough good things about Leslie and her staff. They were easy to work with, professional, organized and helped us create a beautiful wedding. Leslie is very organized and very creative - a combination you don't always find! She listened to what we wanted and designed some beautiful and unique touches that made the wedding very personal and very special. During the weekend of the wedding, she and her staff were in charge and out of the way at the same time. They made sure all the details flowed and everyone had what they needed at all times. They are so experienced they know how things should flow and how to troubleshoot along the way. Leslie ran a fantastic rehearsal for us the night before the wedding which went a long way to alleviating everyone's nerves and made everything flow like clockwork during the real event. She was incredibly responsive to our questions along the way and held us to a reasonable timeline that made sure everything was buttoned up and there were no loose ends. I have had so many guests email, text or follow up with personal comments of how much they enjoyed the wedding. I heard more than once that "That was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to." and "The whole day was flawlessly run and made it so much fun for guests." More importantly, the bride and groom and both families felt it was just what they wanted and we were free to enjoy every moment of it - thanks to Leslie and her staff.

I could go on for pages writing why booking the Wedding Belle for my wedding was the best decision I made throughout the entire planning process. I will try to keep it brief though! At the beginning of my planning, I couldn't believe how little I knew about planning a wedding and how complicating it actually can be. After my first meeting with the Wedding Belle, I finally felt at ease and stress free about my wedding. It's simple, they just GET IT. They not only made the process so incredibly simple for me, but they took my confused, pinterest over loaded mind and created a wedding that I could have only dreamed about before. And WOW, the vendors they helped us pick.... They were all perfect and ideal! We barely had to do research... We told them our style and they had lists of reputable vendors that matched our needs and budget. When the whole thing was said and done, my husband and I looked back and couldn't fathom how it would have all came to fruition without "The Belle's". There were so many small things they did that made or day flawless. Another thing that sticks out at me was when we were all enjoying our after party and the belles were taking care of breaking down our reception, carefully putting away the décor pieces, organizing everything so that we could enjoy our night. I couldn't believe it! It was the cherry on top. Thank you to the Wedding Belle for making our day perfect.

We thought that planning a wedding in Rye, NH from NY would be difficult because we did not know the locations, vendors, etc. However, the Wedding Belle was amazing all around. Leslie took much take to understand exactly what we wanted and did not want at our wedding. Once we settled on a "look and feel" for the event, everything went perfectly smoothly. Leslie, Molly and the rest of the Wedding Belle team took the stress out of the planning and made sure every last detail was taken care of. We could not have been in better hands.

We engaged The Wedding Belle to do day-of coordination for our wedding, which was in a state park. My initial meeting with Leslie was wonderful, and I immediately knew that I wanted to work with The Wedding Belle. The full package did not fit our budget, so I did book some consulting time with Leslie to get some additional direction on the wedding, and then I booked The Wedding Belle for day-of coordination. Leslie's suggestions were invaluable and shaped our day perfectly. I only wish I had done the full package! Marisa was our day-of coordinator, and she along with the other Belles that helped were amazing. Every detail was thought of and taken care of promptly and professionally. As we moved towards the actual day, I was becoming so overwhelmed with all the DIY projects I planned. The Wedding Belle was able to take on some last minute projects for me, which was such a relief. On the actual day, my husband and I were able to relax and let Marisa and team run the show. It was a beautiful day, and I am so glad I was able to enjoy it fully because I had the Belles there.

Leslie and the rest of the Belles are absolutely fantastic! We hired Leslie for our weekend wedding coordination, but got so much more than that! Leslie guaranteed that we would have no stress on our wedding weekend, allowed us to enjoy the weekend completely, and helped greatly along the planning process!

Our wedding was quite a tricky wedding to coordinate, as it was on an island on Lake Winnipesaukee at a summer camp that is not a trained event venue. Leslie helped put together boat schedules for all of our vendors, and took the stress off of me that all of the vendors would be coming and going at the appropriate times, with boat rides to the mainland! Once Leslie and the Belles stepped foot on the island the day before our wedding, I had no more worries. They made sure that every event within a full weekend of wedding events went flawlessly, from a beachside cocktail hour and rustically elegant picnic BBQ rehearsal dinner on Friday, to a Wedding Day 5K on Saturday morning, and our entire wedding on Saturday. All 20 members of our wedding party were where they were supposed to be at the correct time, thanks to Leslie and the Belles. She immediately took care of any issue that arose, including offering to have a new dress driven up to the lake after a member of our wedding party burned a hole in her dress ironing it! To me, the bride, everything went perfectly on our wedding day. Leslie made sure to check in with me throughout the day to make sure that I was happy with everything, and I can honestly say that I was blown away by her hard work, attention to detail, and creativity. Leslie and the Belles took my vision of transforming summer camp into a beautiful wedding venue and blew me away. They made my wedding more perfect and beautiful that I had ever imagined it could have been. Thank you Leslie & Belles for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

My wedding was in a park and I needed assistance with setting up my wedding and someone to make sure everyone showed up to do their part. The Wedding Belle's were amazing! I met with them a couple of weeks prior to the wedding to review all the details and to drop off all my decorations. Leslie was very thorough and didn't miss a detail. Im not sure we even know where to begin. We will start by saying that our wedding was the most beautiful, perfect day, and everything we ever envisioned...because of the Wedding Belle. I recommend to EVERY couple to not even try to have a wedding without them! We decided to have our wedding at a lodge, and everything was DIY for the most part with so many moving parts, so many details that we could have never kept everything together. Marisa, Corinne and Molly were superheroes. They handled everything with ease, professionalism and greeted any obstacle (There were quite a few) with smiles on their faces and calming approach. They even found time to jump in our photo booth with us so that we could have a memory of them to look back on! We could not praise them more, and will look back on our perfect wedding day knowing at the center of all of it, was these 3 ladies holding it all together.

I cannot say enough great things about Leslie and Marisa and the rest of the Belles! I originally booked them for "day of" coordination (a GREAT value, if you ask me) and ended up needing some more help with decor and other minor things about a month away from my wedding. They ended up helping with some of my paper needs and my centerpieces as well! Leslie didn't hesitate to say yes to anything I needed and I could not have had the day we did (our DREAM wedding) with out her and Marisa! It poured and poured for a few days before the wedding and I was so nervous about our tent and field being flooded but Marisa calmed me and made sure everything was beautiful! My husband, who didn't have much involvement with my planning with the belles, said after our day that we could never have done it without them and I couldn't agree more!! If your daughter is planning a wedding, run, don't walk, to engage the services of Leslie Barbini and her wedding belles! The extreme attention to every detail was amazing and it had to be, considering our daughter and her now husband wanted an authentic Celtic wedding. Her ideas to make this a truly fabulous wedding, a one of a kind, were creative, well thought through, and enormously detailed. Our guests said that they never experienced a wedding like this, and, after a month, they are still talking about it. From the custom designed runner to the favors and the flowers which she envisioned, as well as the decorations for the ceremony and the lighting and the draping for the reception, she and her belles helped us create a most memorable day for everyone. Our daughter wanted the tables to be named for Scottish and Irish castles and the belles did a marvelous job of researching pictures of each one and creating such gorgeous escort cards and table labels that many of our guests wanted to take them home.
Leslie and her belles were always communicative and answered e-mails and phone messages promptly. She took care of so many other details, like exchanging the provided baker for one who had won Sweet Genius on the food channel, and, thus, the cake was a masterpiece. The Celtic theme was carried through there, too, and the lace on our daughter's dress was also reproduced on the cake. As for the wedding day, Leslie kept us all on time, and had us all in the right places at the right times. We cannot imagine planning a wedding without her, or any important event for that matter. The day after the wedding, the banquet manager as well as the hotel manager said to us that this was their royal wedding of the summer. Thank you, Leslie, and all of your wonderful belles, without which a wedding of this magnitude and grandeur would never have been so successful.

Leslie and her team did an excellent job with my wedding!! I have been meaning to review them for months and got caught up with life and work! My experience with the ladies at the Wedding Belle could not have been better - these women are absolute pros, and they are just fantastic to work with! I hired them to do day-of coordination for my wedding as well as help with the final details of planning in the last month or so leading up to my wedding. Looking back on it now, I don't know how I ever could have done it without them - from putting together the welcome bags, to coordinating all the vendor arrivals and set up, to managing the timing and flow of the reception, to keeping us on time with pre-ceremony pictures, to directing the rehearsal, the list goes on and on and everything was just perfect. They know all the vendors in the area very well and had great suggestions when I needed them, and they made the whole wedding day so easy and enjoyable. Leslie led the rehearsal, and all of my bridesmaids commented that it was the most organized, easiest and most enjoyable wedding rehearsal they have ever been to. I had a couple of last minute things come up on my wedding day that could have stressed me out, but I relayed them to Leslie and she and her team handled everything so that the day was flawless. They are so organized and on top of everything, they have a great attitude and are always in the right place at the right time. They are worth every penny and I would recommend them to all of my friends!

Words cannot express how much my husband and I appreciated the Wedding Belle. To be honest, everyone discouraged us from using a wedding planner but with the level of detail and coordination needed with our wedding – we required “the best”. This is EXACTLY what we found. Leslie is a rock star and her team makes miracles happen.
I have never seen such patience and care given for each aspect of our day. At your most stressful moment, Leslie makes it all go away. Even if something small goes wrong or another vendor makes a mistake she fixes it instantly and takes blame even though it was not her fault. Leslie and Rachael are team players: going the extra distance to make the guests, staff and vendors all happy – They constantly wanted to make sure our awesome videographer (I-Wed Video) and photographer (Little Fang) were well hydrated and not hungry.
Her team works so hard to accomplish the little things and I cannot believe their level of coordination and patience especially with an insignificant amount help from my main vendor. Honestly, I picked her from the beginning because when it comes to weddings let’s be honest –businesses want to make money. So you want and need someone on your wedding day that will stand up for you and ensure the execution of the things you have asked for. And she did just that.
She always has YOUR best interest in mind and this is most important on the actual wedding day. You are so busy and cannot see everything going on when you are enjoying yourself. When vendors try to cut corners, make inconsiderate decisions and not follow-through with their promises - she is there reminding them that the Wedding Belle puts her client first. Thank you Leslie for being so fabulous and giving 110% every second – I will refer you every chance I have.

As the mother of the bride I want to tell you that after 10 months of planning by The Wedding Belle, our daughter and now our son-in-law, there was not one detail that was overlooked. Literally all I needed to do was to get dressed and everything was taken care of - not one worry down to the Church doors opening exactly on time.
Everything was handled with care and professionalism - I don't know how many times we have said "we could not have done this without Leslie and the great staff at the Wedding Belle". Leslie was a joy to work with on our wedding. We live in Manhattan and had a wedding in a barn that had never held any kind of event before. She organized everything with the vendors to perfection, helped us realize all of our ideas, and had lots of ideas of her own to share. She understood what we wanted and never tried to push us into a different type of wedding or go over our budget. I tend to be an organized person and a control freak, except for when it came to my wedding. Planning and designing the look and feel of our wedding was completely overwhelming to me. I didn't know where to begin; and then I met Leslie!

Once I met with Leslie she took everything we said and didn't say and pulled it all together to create our dream day. Having Leslie plan our wedding meant we got to enjoy not only our wedding day but the days leading up to it. We got to spend time with our family and friends and enjoy all those special moments. We didn't need to worry about a thing; Leslie handled it all. At our reception there was a glitch with where my in-laws were supposed to be seated and she took care of it with out ever letting me know there was an issue. As far as we knew our entire day went off with out a hitch.

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and you don't want to be bogged down with issues or complaints on that day. You will hear it over and over again that the day will fly by and it does. Lucky for us we did get to enjoy ever single minute of that day because Leslie was there for us from beginning to end and then some. It's four months later and our friends and families are still talking about how beautiful and detailed our wedding was.

I just have to say that Leslie and her crew were honestly the most organized group of people I have dealt with in a long time. We chose to have the wedding at our home and we used all her vendors except we had already found a photographer. From our first meeting until the day of the wedding, Leslie was a phone call away. Any questions were answered prompty and honestly. We had a lot of ideas of what we wanted and Leslie added perfectly to those ideas. We had a day by day schedule the week before the wedding and a minute by minute schedule on the wedding day and I have to say that everything went as scheduled. Absolutely no stress on our part. I would recommend The Wedding Belle to any couple who is planning their wedding and would like the whole planning process to be fun and memorable and their special day to be truly special.

I would give Leslie 10 stars if I could. As someone who initially didn't want a wedding planner, I thought I could handle it, I am so thrilled that I hired her. I was fortunate to find The Wedding Belle! Leslie and her design team made my wedding better than I ever could have imagined! We were moving from Virgina to Boston and had a large wedding weekend. As my daughter's wedding grew near I began singing praises for Leslie and the Wedding Belle. Mildly panicked one night about the reception in our back and side yards, I asked Leslie the next day, "Are you sure the tables will fit?" They did indeed fit; this was one of a hundred details handed over to The Wedding Belle before and on the wedding day. The Wedding Belle - and Emily in particular – were fantastic. We were planning our wedding long distance, and we could not have done it without them. Emily took in what we wanted and what ideas we had, then went about making everything so. She consulted us to make decisions but didn't bog us down in any of the details beyond the decision-making so it would be just what we wanted for our wedding. When it came to the big day, The Wedding Belle made everything super easy. We didn't have to do a thing except for enjoy the day, which was perfect. After choosing a date & site, Leslie was the first vendor I interviewed. Finding a great coordinator was my highest priority. I wanted someone on board the last few weeks of the wedding to help coordinate the vendors & to make sure nothing was overlooked. And most importantly, I wanted someone onsite to insure that I & my family could enjoy the wedding & let someone else take care of the details.

I am a very detail-oriented person, & I felt confident that Leslie would not overlook anything. She had extensive experience with our reception site, and I felt she understood the complexities of orchestrating a wedding. She also works with 2 assistants on the day of.

Working with Leslie was amazing. She spent a ton of time making sure that she really understood the type of wedding that we had envisioned. She considered dozens of things that never even crossed my mind. Every time I asked her about something, she would smile & say Already taken care of.

The team at Love Affair was so critical in making our wedding a success. From early stages of planning, through the day of, they offered support to make our day run smoothly. Leslie & Elise had the experience to advise us throughout the planning process & Hannah was organized and upbeat the day of to guide us through the day!

I loved working with Leslie at loveaffair. I don't think I could have gotten through the wedding day without her. Any little problem that came up she dealt with. It was also such a stress reliever not to have to deal with the vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding and being confident everything would be taken care of.

Leslie was awesome! We encountered significant adversity in our wedding planning process (our church burned a few months before the wedding, for example) and Leslie stayed calm, and took everything in stride. She showed exceptional "bride management" skills. She created the wedding that we had envisioned within the budget that we had established. She provided excellent advice every step of the way. I would (and have, in some cases) used the wedding vendors that she recommended again.

I am so happy we hired Love Affair. Elise and her team did a great job with wedding coordination. I was planning from out of state and some issues with the venue meant we needed a wedding coordinator to help with the details. I really enjoyed working with Elise and she helped ensure the wedding day went off without a hitch!

We’re so happy we hired Love Affair! We started our wedding process with a different planner who completely neglected us, so we were thrilled when we started working with Leslie! She is responsive, professional and organized. Even though we only hired Love Affair for day of coordination, Leslie and her team were incredibly helpful throughout our planning process. We would suggest springing for the full package if that is in your budget! Our wedding was at Hamilton House Gardens, which is a beautiful spot but there was a ton of rain right before our wedding so the area under our tent became swampy. Despite these conditions, the Love Affair team setup everything beautifully and people didn’t even care about their ruined shoes J The rain luckily held off for our ceremony and cocktail hour but once we were under the tent there was intermittent rain. Despite these adverse weather conditions, the Love Affair team kept things moving! Our lead day of coordinator was great at reacting to the changing conditions. She could have taken a stronger leadership position and been more proactive with the catering staff, as the caterer did not react as well to the changing conditions. Regardless, the planning and pre-wedding work from the Love Affair team was excellent! We had a wonderful wedding and were very happy overall! We highly recommend!

For the money in NH I expected more attention to detail especially considering we did the setup ourselves. One of the coordinators was also a little snippy day of. They were coordinating for the catering company we used, which is partly why we went with them, and I suspect they prioritized that work over other things. Overall we still had a great day, though I wouldn't recommend for the price. Lots of other options out there.
