We got married in The Presbytere last week and had an amazing experience. The second floor gallery has enormous floor-length windows that fill the space with terrific light. We rented some chairs, an aisle runner, and flowers and VOILA --
we had a beautiful wedding in a historic setting! Guests also loved perusing the Mardi Gras exhibit on the second floor as they arrived. Faith and Yvonne at the venue were flexible to work with through months worth of calls and emails and they helped us troubleshoot solutions when a hurricane forced us to move everything up 3 hrs on short notice (i.e., the night before the event!). Can't say enough good about our experience!

We held our ceremony at the Cabildo, and our reception at the Presbytere. The staff were great to work with, particularly the events coordinator Cate. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the venues. They had the opportunity to wander the Presbytere during the reception, and check out all the interesting mardi gras exhibits. The mardi gras float provided a perfect backdrop for a photo booth! The ceremony overlooked Jackson Square, and we had a second line parade around the block from the Cabildo to the Presbytere, an experience we and our guests will not soon forget! The staff allowed us to make several visits to the venues leading up to the event, and were very accommodating with our vendors and requests.
