Amazing musicians and a fantastic performance

The Lost Pines were AMAZING! Such good musicians, and wonderful energy. They kept people on the dance floor the whole set and our guests loved them. They were so professional, making sure they knew what songs we liked and what sort of ambience we were going for. Best of all - they learned a bluegrass cover of my husband's favorite Misfits song as a surprise for him, which was absolutely perfect. Would recommend without hesitation!

Working with Talia was one of the most simple pieces of planning our wedding. She's simple to communicate with, prompt to respond, and flexible to help meet your needs. The band was excellent and we had many, many compliments about their performance. I definitely recommend The Lost Pines!

I'm so glad we booked Lil Darlin for our wedding. I lost count of how many people commented on how great the band was, asking where we found them. Devin was very communicative in the weeks leading up. We even emailed back and forth to make sure our first dance request would be at a tempo slow enough for us to two-step to. We love honky tonk and bluegrass, and Lil Darlin gave our guests an unique "Austin" experience. They sounded amazing!

The only advice I'd give to a couple deciding whether or not to book Lost Pines is to go ahead and do it before they're booked up! Talia was a pleasure to work with, the band sounded AMAZING (like "I'm at a concert and I want to DANCE" good, like "we got tons of compliments and questions about the band" good), and the songs they learned for us provided some of the best memories of our wedding.

10/10 - would absolutely book them again no hesitations!

Lost Pines were so great! I love bluegrass music and knew I wanted to incorporate bluegrass in to our wedding ceremony. They are SO talented and played all of the songs I wanted to hear! I can't wait to catch them at a gig around town soon. They made our wedding very special!

Talia and The Lost Pines were nothing short of awesome. We had a quartet play during our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were great. They were helpful with providing suggestions for prelude and ceremony songs which were all perfect. Cocktail hour was great too, filled with many of my favorite songs of theirs.. Though we were in the distance doing post wedding photos, i could hear and feel the energy from the band. We received many compliments on the band. It was a perfect touch to our wedding. Talia was easy to coordinate with and made the whole process easy. Highly recommended!

The Lost Pines were fantastic! Talia made communication and booking clear and simple. She and the band were punctual, organized, and professional, and perhaps most importantly, they rocked! Their music was a huge hit at our party, and we could not have been happier with our experience with them.

The lost pines were the perfect fit for our not-so-traditional hill country wedding. They accommodated our song requests and did a beautiful job with both the ceremony music and the cocktail hour. If you are looking for a great group of musicians to make your event stand out, look no further!

The Lost Pines were the perfect band to play at our wedding reception, which was around 100 pp outside under a tent. It happened the weekend of the Memorial Day Flood, 2015, so we accommodated the band under the tent and it worked perfectly. The music was just what I envisioned--loud enough to be enjoyed, but not so loud that people could not converse and enjoy each other. They played a two-hour set (7-9) and there was also some dancing, which was great.

Talia and the Lost Pines were the perfect bluegrass band for our hill country barn wedding. From her quick and responsive communications during the early planning stages to their amazing music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. We have had countless comments from guests about how entertaining they were. In addition they were very social and easy going during short breaks and intermissions while they conversed and mingled with guests. I think they may have even partnered up with a guest or two to play a couple of rounds of "bags." This is a band that we will definitely be looking to see at some Austin venue in the near future, and we feel lucky to have had them play our wedding. We couldn't be happier and would hire them again in a heart beat.

The Lost Pines put on an amazing show!! They were a perfect complement to our Texas Hill Country wedding. We enjoyed the three-piece trio (including stand up bass!) as well as the full five-piece band during the reception. They were lively and got everyone dancing! We had many guests from around the country who all were quite impressed. I was also SO thankful that the band was able to provide a last-minute recording of our first dance song so we could practice before the event. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LOST PINES!!

We hired the Lost Pines to play during our wedding ceremony, cocktail party, and reception. They were everything we had hoped. Our wedding was on a ranch in the Texas hill country, and the Lost Pines's bluegrass and country western music completed the feeling of a rustic-elegant farm wedding. Talia was easy to work with and instilled confidence in us, willing to be flexible and have the band perform on multiple occasions throughout the evening. She joined many phone conversations to talk through the flow of the evening and the songs we wanted them to play. The band also learned our favorite love song for the ceremony. It was incredibly beautiful - more beautiful than the original. Our guests loved the music during the reception, too. Before the wedding, we were worried that our friends -- most from the east or west coasts -- wouldn't know how to dance to country and bluegrass. But our friends and family were all out on the dance floor, having a wonderful time. One of my happiest memories of the wedding is all of our friends getting in a circle and dancing around to "Wagon Wheel" with my husband and me in the center. The Lost Pines was perfect in every way; I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The Lost Pines played our ceremony (acoustic) and our reception and were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with learning new songs and did those beautifully.

They created the perfect ambience for the ceremony and even performed a very special duet during our vows. For the reception– they had great energy for getting people out on the dance floor (they even did a two-step lesson to warm up our guests). They also let the groom get up on stage and sing an old Hank Williams song with them- which was amazing and one of my favorite memories of the day.

We couldn't have found a more perfect band and are grateful they were a part of our special day.

Talia was wonderful to work with for our wedding music. She not only coordinated all of the musicians so that the event was perfectly seamless (including different numbers of musicians in 3 different set-up arrangements from the wedding ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception), but was incredibly helpful in figuring out exactly what musicians should play to make our event perfectly cater to the audience. Talia was incredibly patient and a very good listener, and suggested the perfect group of musicians based on our descriptions of what we wanted - the lead singer was Julia Ward, who has an incredible voice and has amazing energy. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we got compliments from all of our guests on the music, from the youngest to the oldest guests. Thanks Talia!

Fog & Bone was such a lovely compliment to the entire feel of our wedding - and they were incredibly FUN as well! When we set out to plan our wedding, my husband and I both wanted an elegant, rustic "Texas" wedding. One of the key elements was the music.

When we described the vibe of our wedding to another vendor, they recommended that we check out The Lost Pines. They had heard them play at another wedding and thought it would be a great fit. We immediately went to their website and fell in love. The only nerve wracking moment was whether they would be available because we knew they would be perfect.

Talia was the best person with whom to work during planning and on the day of the wedding. She was always very responsive -- willing to share examples of songs on their playlist and helping with suggestions of what worked well for other weddings. I felt that she wanted to help us make sure the music was exactly as we envisioned.

In the end, the Lost Pines played acoustic for the ceremony, and then played as a full band from the cocktail hour through the first half of the reception, including our first dance. We loved the experience and all of our guests raved about the songs and their performance as well.

For our first year anniversary, we are heading back to Austin. On a whim, I searched The Lost Pines shows for when we are in town, and found that they are playing at a festival on our actual anniversary. I emailed the festival to ask about tickets, and Talia was the one to email me back. She remembered us and our wedding date without me mentioning anything, and she invited us to say hello to the band. It brought such a huge smile to my face, and it will truly make our celebration this year so special.

I cannot say enough about The Lost Pines and Talia. I can only hope that we make it back to Austin every year to see a show, or that The Lost Pines start performing in Atlanta!

If you want the best live music at your "Texas" wedding or other special event, you MUST hire The Lost Pines.

I had the Lost Pines (duo not the whole band) play at during my wedding cocktail hour and dinner portion of the reception. Talia was the single most responsive vendor I dealt with during the entire wedding process. I literally contacted and booked the band the same day!

Our wedding was not without hiccups, the band was originally supposed to play for an outdoor cocktail hour then move inside for the dinner. They organized with our DJ to ensure that they would have all the required equipment in order to cover both spaces. The day of the wedding it was clear that it was going to storm so all activities would need to be done inside. The band didn't skip a beat and everything went off without a hitch!

The music itself was absolutely perfect for our venue and feeling of the wedding. I got so many complements on how great the band sounded and how much fun it made the dinner portion of the event.

Thank you Talia and The Lost Pines for being part of my wonderful (and wet) wedding!

Lost Pines were one of the few elements of the wedding that completely exceeded my expectations in every single way. From their responsiveness and organization in the planning to the quality of the music and experience they provided for our guests, I was blown away. Numerous guests at our wedding approached us to tell us how great the band was, and we did not want them to leave! My only regret is not booking them for a longer period of time! Amazing! Thank you!

The Lost Pines did a wonderful job playing our wedding. The group was punctual, the instruments and vocals sounded fantastic, their repertoire had nice variety, they had great energy and were all very kind to boot! All in all they were a perfect fit for us with respect to how we wanted the wedding to go in terms of style and tone. We had such a hard time finding a band for our wedding, and were getting really desperate. Two weeks before the wedding we contacted Bouquet Bands and she found us an AMAZING band. We needed musicians who could play for our ceremony and our honky tonk wedding--and Horse Opera fit the bill perfectly. Music for a wedding is a tough decision. You want to pick music that you and your significant other like and want to hear, but, at the same time, you can’t exactly have Primus at your wedding and not have your respective grandparents glaring at you while they try to eat.

When we started our hunt for wedding music, we wanted to have a band that above all else was something we were looking forward to hearing that night. We tossed around ideas of who we wanted for months, and then we quite literally stumbled upon Lost Pines. We instantly fell in love with the melodies and hooks on their record. After contacting them and beginning to work with Talia, we were doubly impressed - they’re not only talented musicians, they’re friendly and professional as well.

We went to see them play live at first before agreeing to ourselves that this was the band we wanted. Needless to say, we walked away that night excited to see them at our wedding. The music they play easily appeals to a wide spectrum of people including those who aren’t particular fans of their genre. It’s hard not to fall in love with their obvious talent and enthusiasm. At the wedding, they were gracious and friendly to everyone they talked too. Their kindness and professionalism was appreciated and won them several new fans that night.

We can’t thank them enough for being willing and able to play at our wedding. We enjoyed every minute they had the stage. We highly recommend The Lost Pines to anyone looking for a great band to play for any event that you may be planning…especially if Primus is playing on the same bill; that would be amazing.

We booked the band for our wedding, The Lost Pines, through Bouquet Bands and were absolutely thrilled with the quality of service and professionalism. Bouquet Bands made the experience so easy and The Lost Pines added an element to our wedding that made it that much more special!! They played some of our favorite country/bluegrass hits as well as their own music for our ceremony and at the cocktail hour during our reception and it was absolutely perfect! In fact, we loved their music so much that we even had our wedding party walk down the aisle to one of their songs!! We will forever be huge fans of The Lost Pines! Thank you Bouquet Bands and The Lost Pines!!

The Lost Pines played our wedding and they were amazing. Talia was very responsive before the wedding. She answered all questions I had and allowed us to make changes to the music selection and band member selection up to the day of the wedding. The music was great and everyone had a lot of fun dancing. They also played an amazing cover of the song we had our first dance to. Everything was so stress free and they worked with the wedding planner at the venue during the night to make sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great time dancing to bluegrass music!

Talia was wonderful to work with for our wedding. Initially we wanted her band but they were booked. Instead of leaving it at that Talia found us the perfect fit and made it all come off seamlessly.
PS- we had Julia Ward play for us and would highly recommend her. Her style, timing of the songs for the ceremony were perfect. And she has a great varied repertoire.

Despite the fact that our ceremony ran about 30-minutes behind, the band was great and stuck around without any fuss. Then they did a STELLAR job of playing--best bluegrass I know in town. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

The Lost Pines were everything I had expected and more. The sound they have together is just that sound that is pure good music that makes you want to tap your feet and smile. I had several guest come up to me and ask who they were (we were all from Dallas) and how did I find them. I honestly found their website that has several of their songs you can listen to and right then and there I knew I had to have them for our wedding. Talia took the time to speak with me on the phone and was always prompt in answering any emails. You will not want any other band for your event if this is the sound you are looking for.

The Lost Pines were a great addition to our wedding! Their music was universally appealing and everyone had a great time dancing. They were also extremely flexible and even learned a few new songs at our request.

Because my husband and I come from very different backgrounds, we spent a lot of time deciding which band would be the best fit for all of our guests. Our efforts paid off! Our wedding was pretty close to perfect, and I can say without reservation that our best decision in the whole thing was choosing the Lost Pines. My fondest memories from the night center around the music. During one the songs, my friend grabbed the banjo player’s cowboy hat and passed it around the dance floor. Even my eighty-nine year old grandmother wore the hat and danced her dance in the center of the circle. Everyone felt the energy.

The Lost Pines were more than willing to learn new songs and even plugged my name into one of their old ones. When I listen to their album today, I still sing, “Hey Miss Jenny, won’t you marry me.” It’s been more than a year, and we continue to get compliments on our reception. My aunt called just last week, and once again, she said, “The Lost Pines really made your wedding.” She’s right. They are the perfect band for an Austin wedding--or any wedding for that matter. I married a good guy, and that made the party fun, but the Lost Pines made it perfect.

Lost Pines rocked our reception before the wedding, and played beautifully during the ceremony. Their music set the perfect tone for the whole evening and our guests had a blast.
I requested some specific songs they had to learn on very short notice, and they were able to pull it off. I was so greatful for that, as I had a specific vision of what music I wanted to walk down the aisle.
Talia and her band really made our special day perfect!

Outstanding! Lost Pines provided cocktail hour music at our wedding. All the guests raved about their music (we had lots of bluegrass fans).
They had quite a crowd standing around just listening to them. Talia was so quick to respond to any questions, it was really easy to arrange everhything.
Two of the musicians, guitar and mandolin, played music for the wedding service and it was very intimate and beautiful.
I highly recommend this group. Anyone would be lucky to have them.

The Lost Pines were perfect for our wedding! We had a beautiful evening view of the city, delicious barbeque and the toe tappin', head boppin' music of The Lost Pines. Our guests were quite impressed, and listening to Talia's voice singing one of my favorite songs while walking down the isle was priceless! Thanks so much for a perfect evening!

The Lost Pines are simply awesome. We had them at our cocktail hour, and I lost count of how many people told me "Who are these guys?! They are awesome!". I have already recommended them to friends and family, and would be very happy to book them again!

Lost Pines are just what we were looking for: live bluegrass and folk music for our wedding. Their song list was really extensive, and had a lot of material that we knew and loved. We hired them as a duo: Talia on Guitar, and Alex on the mandolin. For the processional, they played acoustically, and did instrumental versions of two songs we love ("In Spite of Ourselves" and "I Will"). For the cocktail hour, they played a really nice variety of vocal tunes, and they learned a song we requested for the Father-Daughter dance. The first dance and the dance with the parents were especially meaningful. Lost Pines played their songs perfectly, and with feeling.

Talia was a real professional in getting everything organized via email, and on the wedding day, they had no trouble getting set up with the PA we provided them.

It was a delight to have Lost Pines as part of our wedding!

Because I was so caught up talking with people that came from all corners of the globe for our wedding, I didn't get the chance to actually listen to The Lost Pines (pretty bummed about that), but my guests tell me they were great! They got people up dancing, responded to song requests, and Talia was very responsive up to the day of the wedding. It was our biggest expense, but we're very happy with how it turned out. They gave our wedding the exact vibe we were going for.

Everyone LOVED the band and the wedding song they played for us was like a dream come true. We could not have had a wedding this perfect if it was not for the Lost Pines. 2 thumbs way up!

The band (Bottom Dollar String band) was phenomenal! Everyone loved them! And it was exactly what we had envisioned: everyone up and dancing to bluegrass!
Bouquet bands was so helpful and professional! We will definitely use them again some day for some event, and I think many of our friends will as well!

Bouquet Bands booked our wedding band The Lost Pines for our big day. The band was absolutely amazing when preforming and a pleasure to work with leading up to the event. Talia was especially great to communicate with as she was very responsive when emailing myself and our wedding planner multiple times. She helped with the set list and song choices in a timely manner. We would definitely book through Bouquet Bands again!

Unfortunately there was a period where I didn't hear anything from Bouquet Bands for a while during the time I was planning my wedding. I was also misquoted a price (I understand there was miscommunication between Bouquet Bands and the band). Talia was very helpful and the band was excellent. I think Bouquet Bands may have still been working out a few kinks in their operations.
