Five stars simply don’t do Lori justice. Hiring her was by far the best decision we made; and we made a lot of decisions. We were fortunate enough to stumble across Lori Suzanne Photography by accident. Five minutes into our first meeting we knew she was the one for us.

Lori did an amazing job of capturing the true feeling and emotion of our wedding. We wanted it to be simple, honest and focused on the fact that two people were joining their lives. Somehow Lori instinctively knew exactly what to do. We knew the photographs would be good, even great, but some of them truly took our breath away. It’s almost like she capture the intangible feeling in the air that day.

I think Lori’s best attribute, is that she didn’t set out to be a photographer; it’s the path life choose for her. It’s always a pleasure to watch people do what they were meant to do. In Lori’s case, we are the ones who truly benefit.

I’m a designer by trade and a bit or a perfectionist, some might even say a control freak, but I felt completely comfortable with Lori. She is so easy to work with. She is friendly enough that you know you can trust her to take care of your memories, and professional enough that you know she’s going to get the job done.

We also had Lori do our engagement photography. It was another great decision. The shots were amazing, but better still, it really prepared us for the big day. I’m usually the one behind the camera (so I don’t have to be in front of it), but I was completely comfortable at the wedding. I would highly recommend a session before the wedding, even if it’s only you taking the dog for a walk, just to get comfortable and learn how the process works. Most of us aren’t used to having our own paparazzi for the day. Grooms beware, your bride could get used to this. We’ve already told Lori that we’re calling her for our kid’s first birthdays.

We have and would recommend Lori without hesitation to anyone looking to truly capture what your wedding day is all about. I promise it will be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make.

They were AWESOME! I got 4 photographers when only 2 were promised. There were tornados the night of the wedding so one photographer had to leave but he was replaced quickly, I didn't even notice. The pictures are amazing! All I could have ever wanted. Plus Lori is really nice to work with.

I am so thankful that I picked Lori Suzanne and made my pictures a priority part of my wedding planning. Lori did a phenomenal job with our wedding. We had a large wedding party with several children of varying ages and she did a great job handling the crowd and taking some incredible pictures. Within minutes we all just had a great time and easily forgot about Lori. She really has a knack for capturing a person's personality with a camera and those moments that other people simply miss. My wedding album and pictures just take my breath away and everyone that has seen them are just amazed. You can look at the pictures and remember exactly what you were saying to each other at that moment, or hear the music of your first dance. I can look at the picture of my dad and I when we were dancing and all the emotions just come rushing back. There is one picture in particular of my groom and I when my young nephew slipped in between to dance with us. There is so much love captured in that picture that it still brings tears to my eyes.

Lovi Lori as a person and Love her as a photographer! She was so much fun to work with, and our pictures turned out beautiful! Many people said they were some of the best wedding photos they'd ever seen, and two of my bridesmaids went to her for their own wedding photographer. The only downside is that she can get so busy that it can take a few weeks for her to touch up all your your proofs, but they are definitely worth the wait! Her albums are amazing as well.

The photographer that did my Wedding was excellent. I was very pleases with him. He was wonderful and an excellent Photographer. We have some really good shots of our wedding.
I would recommend that you get the digital pictures on a CD though and get them printed some where else. That was the only thing that I was not impressed with. their printing and editing aren't that great.

    Lori Suzanne Photography's reply:

April and Antonio were great clients! I think what April is referring to is a cropping issue that all brides need to know about. Nearly all wedding photographers nowadays shoot with digital cameras. The digital frame in the camera is a 4x6 format. When 8x10's are ordered, we have a crop issue: if you double a 4x6 - you get an 8x12. However the standard frame sizes are 8x10 which are still based on the older medium film format style of shooting weddings. To crop down to a 8x10, we will have to cut 2" of the photo in the long direction.

Normally when a client orders 8x10's, we have some room to crop that won't cut into important elements in the photo. However, if we've shot the image "tight", and the 8x10 crop will cut into something important like flowers or hands, we will give the client the option to print the image full frame at no add'l cost as an 8x12, cropped as a 8x10 if they don't mind the cut, or full frame on an 8x10 photo with a white border around it.

In April's case, her 8x10's were cropped and by our error, she was not notified that the images would crop and were shipped that way. When we learned of the error, we immediately sent new prints cropped to her liking.

As far as editing itself, we color correct and retouch each individual image for color balance, saturation, contrast, etc. This editing would be the same on our cd or wheather the client purchased that same cd. We print all our images at a professional lab, and thus, the printing is not related to crop issues.

Hopefully in the near future, as professional digtial photography is proven that it's here to stay, 8x12 frames will be sold more at retail stores. They can be bought through photographers, but they are a little harder to find in the stores (Aaron Brothers has 6 or 7 styles and we often refer client's there since we don't carry frames).

    Sincerely,
