Carolina did an absolutely fantastic job with makeup for my wedding and a test run the day before! I had a very specific, natural look in mind and she executed perfectly. She was able to take inspiration photos and apply them to me, my bridesmaids, and my mom / mother-in-law in a way that was unique to each of us but also cohesive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Carolina!!! She made me feel so beautiful for my pre-wedding welcome party—polished, but still 100% myself. I felt confident, glowing, and got compliments all night. It was really important to me not to look overdone or cakey, and she absolutely understood the assignment. It was very important to me to look like myself on my wedding day. I rarely wear makeup and wanted a super natural look. I even considered doing my own wedding makeup, but scheduled a trial with Caro and loved it! She ended up doing my mom and I’s makeup, as well as several of my bridesmaids.
She was super receptive of what I wanted and didn’t want, and flexible. Her kind and calm demeanor was a welcome contribution during what can otherwise be a stressful day. Cannot recommend her enough!!Look Vitamina's reply:

Carolina and the Look Vitamina team made our wedding experience so memorable. Being an indecisive person, I had only a rough idea of what I wanted for my wedding day and Carolina was there to help me every bit of the way. She was so communicative and helpful months leading up - sending inspirations and recommendations - which I appreciated so much! When the time came, we did a quick trial run the day before the wedding with a fun side braid I got to show off at my welcome party. For the wedding, I did light, natural make up with loose curls half up/half down and Carolina and her team nailed it. I couldn't be more happy with the results and felt so beautiful and confident for my wedding weekend! Carolina has an amazing energy and is great at what she does. We had an incredible experience working with look vitamina for our large wedding in Manuel Antonio. They were responsive, flexible, organized, talented, and brought calm to the chaos of wedding weekend. They did a variety of hairdos for us, all beautiful, ranging from blow drys to natural curl looks, up dos to long hair looks. The makeup up was incredible, very natural looks enhancing everyone’s individual beauty and comfortable for everyone! Super responsive to everyone’s unique style and wishes. Highly highly recommend! Excellent experience! The team was proactive with communication and making sure needs and details were figured out ahead of time. They went above and beyond to make sure our timeline and hair/makeup inspiration was understood and able to be executed day of. I cannot gush enough about the hair and make up done for a variety of ages from curly hair to sensitive skin and those new to the professional experience. Carolina and her team were incredibly talented and very professional. She came to Nosara a few months before the wedding for trial hair and makeup. Carolina was very friendly and kind. She gave me ideas but also listened to what I wanted. I was so pleased with the trial, I knew she would be perfect for my wedding day. I was right! I wanted a natural look- not too much makeup (I wanted to look like me but better) and that’s exactly what she did. Carolina was extremely patient with me changing my mind about my hairstyle on the day of my wedding. She calmly helped me figure out what kind of bun I wanted and i absolutely loved the end result. Beyond making me look gorgeous on my special day, Carolina was calm in the chaos and her smile reminded me to relax and enjoy the day. Planning a destination can be hard and stressful. I am so happy that we found Carolina and her team to do our hair and makeup. Carolina was extremely communicative, friendly, professional, and amazing at what she does. My mom, sisters, best friends, and me (the bride!) had incredible hair and makeup done. My hair and makeup held the entire night - through the breeze on the beach, dancing, and some sweat from the dancing. Highly recommend Carolina. I can't rate Carolina highly enough. She communicated long before we arrived and kept checking in with the hotel on our arrival too (the airport closed and we were redirected for a night). She updated me on her journey to Manuel Antonio and her arrival time.
The photographers were very late arriving and since we eloped we didn't have family there to reassure and calm down a nervous bride and groom. Carolina really filled that role for us. She reminded me to have some water and to eat and reassured that everything would be fine. She couldn't do enough.
I don't tend to wear make up and I'm 39 so not a young bride. Carolina worked miracles. My hair and make up were incredible and made me look vibrant but also looked natural. My groom also said how beautiful it looked.

Incredible, Professional, Talented
Carolina and her team were absolutely the best choice to go with for my wedding in Tamarindo end of March 2024.
Carolina and I had a lot of communication prior to my wedding week, along with a video call to discuss my ideas and the plan. She is so genuine, knowledgeable, and knows the weather and what works best in Costa Rica at the specific time of year for your type of skin and hair.
Week of the wedding I had a trial run with Carolina for my rehearsal and then her and her team came wedding day of to do hair and makeup for myself, 5 my bridesmaids and my mother and mother in law. First off, everyone looked incredible. Each persons ideas were well listened to and beautifully executed. The makeup was natural and accentuated the features of each gal, and was beautifully applied and didn’t come off all night. The team listened and tweaked for personal preference and was so professional and true artists.
Everyone’s hair was gorgeous and exactly what they hoped for from their inspiration photos. Curls stayed all night long, updos didn’t fall, and hair didn’t frizz, even through lots of dancing and some happy tears.
I couldn’t recommend Look Vitamina more for all your hair and makeup needs!Look Vitamina's reply:

She is great, I love her work and style!
She was great, the first time she did my make up (I need to clarify I never use make up, so when I do, I feel like a clown but she took the time to listen to me, understand my daily routine and did my make up in a natural, very comfortable way.
The second time she did my hair, I was nervous because I was cutting my long hair to donate it.
She made me feel happy and relaxed and did a really cool short Bob I love and can't stop looking in the mirror.
I am more than happy and I am looking forward to our next session! -

Carolina and her partner did an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my wedding! She catered to what we wanted and asked for photos prior to the wedding week and also answered any questions I had. Even though my ceremony and reception were both outdoors in humid Costa Rica weather, my curls somehow lasted for several days afterwards. Amazing hair and makeup!!!!
I have gotten my hair and makeup done by Look Vitamina on several occasions, including my own wedding and I cannot recommend them enough! Not only are they great at what they do, they are also very responsive to emails and questions, which is very important, especially if you are planning a destination wedding. They can really do any look, from super natural to glam, and have a lot of experience working in hot climates, which is an important consideration, if you are getting married on the coast!!!
